By all means the worst experience ever. Almost two hours waiting for the meal, rude, impolite and displeasing waiter, sold out menu with only two or three options, unbelievably bad. After sitting we waited more than 20 minutes for the waiter to come to us. When we mentioned to the waiter that it was not acceptable to wait two hours for our meal he even started arguing and discussing with us. How is it possible that such restaurant is operating? I only regret that we didn't went out when we started seeing this situation. Really bad. Not at all recommendable. Even one star is too much. Should be closed.

Poor food. Worst in two weeks holiday and we eat out every single day. No starters available not even soup. Extremely limited choice of food. Mine was good but partner wasnt We complaint the waiter already knew and said will give us discount but that wasn't the point if poor inform the customer and let him judge. If he want to pay less or not let him decide. Don't serve poor food. It was our 2nd 1st time was good. But the service was very slow once again. Considering there was only other two couples there.

On a recent day trip to the ancient medieval village of Tomar, my wife and I left the bus-load of other tourist behind and walked deep into the narrow streets to see if we could find some place off the beaten path. That path led us to a side street and upstairs to Restaurante Calca Perra. Old World high style, we took a table looking out over a green area of plants and trees. Now, we were the only folks to inhabit the place for our entire lunch and I had some misgivings about that (who wants to eat where no one else is eating?). Plus, we later found out that the chef was out that day and our waiter also became the chef! He was great at both. He prepared a large dourada (golden sea bream) that was expertly cooked whole, then at the table he served the fish, crispy skin and perfectly moist and tender flesh, along with the mixed vegetables and classic Portuguese boiled potatoes. More than what we usually would spend for lunch, it was a splurge for us that was more than worth it. For those who would rather miss a loud and crowded bistro, the quiet lunch was a chance for us to reflect on the trip, the town, and the visit to an ancient place.

Pode-se estacionar na Várzea e ir a pé. Ambiente requintado, não barato, mas comida excelente.

Cozinha excelente, serviço muito bom e um lugar extremamente agradável para o almoço na esplanada. De modo geral uma experiência excepcional. Não é barato,mas também não é absurdo. E vale o preço.

Ottimo ristorante con giardino e tavoli anche all'aperto. Ambiente raccolto e intimo, luci soffuse. Ottimo il piatto di gamberi alla piastra, anche come quantità e prezzo economico.
