If you're in Lagos and need a train then this is the place to head for. Nearly all the trains in Lagos congregate here so you're sure to catch one.

Lagos train station is now a more modern building, compared to it's predecessor, which is still on the site. It has a large car park and cafeteria. Trains are about every half to an hour, and go to Faro, for a ridiculously low price of 7.50 euros. The trains are colourful, to say the least, and you could be put off travelling on one. Not so the case, because inside it is clean and comfortable. They also do leave on time, which is a bonus. The country views and quaint old fashioned railway stations on the journey are something you miss on a car journey.

Fabulous place to get off and see Lagos. The train stop is right in the city. You can walk everywhere.

Fabulous trip to Faro for €7.50, 1hour 30mins. Functional interior no recharges for phones. Winds through vineyards, olive trees, fig trees and orange orchards. Sad how run down the stations are.

The service is very good, well connected. Noted that there is no visual signage anywhere advising of its location.

A small train station with a coffee shop and a ticket counter. They don't have any screens showing the details of departing trains or platforms.

Very few trains operate from this station, on weekends some of the regular day trains doesnt run so please check in advance and plan accordingly.

Friendly patient staff selling me tickets. They spoke English which helped me a lot as I am a tourist. Trains are not frequent so always check times in advance (which I found on Google Maps directions feature, thanks Google )

Houd rekening met een wachttijd bij het kopen van kaartjes in het hoogseizoen! Er is alleen een loket, geen kaartautomaat. Verder netjes en vriendelijk personeel.

Miejsce z czytelną informacja o rozkładzie pociągów. Uważajcie jak idziecie z plaży, warto miec zapas czasu. Droga na dworzec prowadzi przez most zwodzony. Nam zdarzyło się czekać ponad 15 minut na wplyniecie żaglówek do portu.

Moderner Zweckbau. Schalter und WC sowie Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Es wäre schöner gewesen, den alten Bahnhof zu renovieren.

Train doesnt pass as often as I would like only every 2-3 hours. Tickets are cheap and never had any problems before.

La stazione dei treni di Lagos è una stazione moderna e di eccellente fattura architettonica. È un piacere frequentarla. Peccato che i treni locali portoghesi, come noto, siano da paese del quarto mondo. Un vero peccato per in paese bello come il Portogallo che dovrebbe investire di più sul trasporto pubblico.

Algarve is one of the most touristic place in portugal. But this trains are worst. I couldn't understand. They re carrying many tourists in a day they should be more comfortable and good condition.

Pünktliche Züge, etwas kalt mit Klimaanlage im Sommer. Fahrt nach lagos für 7,40. Nach olaho 1,40.....preiswerter wie Bus!

Friendly staff, we missed out train and the lady operating the ticket booth transferred our ticket for a later train free of charge. The bar outside of the station has cheap beers. Use it.
