Words hardly can describe how great our stay at Quinta da Bizelga was. Helen is truly a superhost and it we loved to meet her. She always was there for us, no matter what questions we had. She gave us a guided tour around the garden, as well as the interior of the historic farm house. We were amazed about the 400 years of history you can see everywhere. She kept a lot of historic peaces of the farm. That does in fact not mean that everything is old. Modern meets history describes it perfectly. The cottages for the guest have each a full equiped kitchen with everything you would find in your own house. Evvery Bedroom and Living room has his own Aircondition. The Bathrooms look very modern and nice and everything is brand new. There is a playground for kids, a community area with tabletop football, a Ping-Pong Table and much more. You can simply get the best oranges we ever had fresh from dozens of big trees full of the yummy fruits. A baker comes every morning and sells fresh bread and other sweet pastries. We felt so much at home right from the beginning, that we are really sad to have left the place. The surroundings like Tomar, Sertã, Abrantes, Torres Novas etc. are incredible for sightseeing, with all the nice castles, the Tejo, the Monestaries. I truly could write more, but enjoy and discover this place on your own!
