All the staff at Villa Doris were amazing and no job was too little. They really took care of me to ensure my birthday was special. The location was perfect as I dont like being kept up at night due to hustle and bustle but it was close enough to town for a short walk or drive. The beach is amazing and on Villa Doris doorstep. The cleaner, Larissa was great too - the apartment was spotless. Will stay here again

Great location 2 minute walk from the beach. The town is small so the city centre was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. And the other beaches are accessible along the road. The room was nice and clean. The staff was nice and held our luggage for us both when we arrived before our room was ready and after we had to check out to wait for our train. Was a very relaxing few days.

아파트형 숙소여서 조식을 신청하면 걸어서 5분 거리의 자매호텔에서 먹어요. 그게 귀찮긴 하지만 조식이 맛있어서 만족합니다. 숙소가 널찍하고 숙소 바로 앞에 멋진 해변이 있어요. 침구도 좋았어요. 그런데 밤에 샤워할 때 온수가 안나오더라고요? 문의해보니 온수를 다 써서 데워지는데 20분을 기다리래서 기다렸는데 40분이 지나도 온수가 안나왔어요.. 기다리다못해 덜덜 떨면서 그냥 샤워했어요. 온수 안나오는 숙소는 처음이었어요. 그 다음날 아침 머리감을때는 온수가 나오긴 했지만.. 황당했던 온수사건 때문에 별점을 높게 줄 수가 없네요

Excellent location, and the rooms are about twice the size of my apartment, and very well appointed. Not a ton of hot water, but that's a common thing in the country. Excellent wifi connection as well.

We visited during off season, so check in was a bit strange- we had to call someone to come let us in. It just wasn’t expected and I wish this was communicated prior to our arrival. Other than that, I don’t think that overall this was a 4 star hotel experience.

This suite was perfect for our 3day rest stop in Lagos. Right near the beach. Perfect for walking into town. A few small shops very close to room for supplies. A great view. Room was lovely and clean. Appeared to have all new appliances.

This was an AMAZING property. The views were stunning, the apartment was big and super clean and comfy, and the staff was extremely helpful. I cannot recommend this highly enough!!

We loved this place. The suites were so spacious and clean. It has everything you need. We would go back in a heartbeat. Also, the ladies at the reception desk and the ladies who clean the rooms are great and friendly. To top it all off, I accidentally left some of my gifts in a closet at the suites and the management was so kind to pack it very carefully and send it to us in the USA. It all arrived in pristine shape. I hope we can go there again one day. It is only a one or two minute walk to the beautiful beach.

Замечательные апартаменты рядом с океаном. Пешком можно дойти до старого города и магазин не далеко есть. Квартира была большой, новой у комфортной, уборка тоже качественная. Есть посудомойка, но горничная посуду стирает, нет стиральной машинки, но в магазине SPAR есть прачечная, там как местные так и туристы стираются - не дорого. Что касается самих апартаментов, есть один нюанс, рядом огромный старый недострой, и окна по любому будут слева выходить на него, но там строй работы не ведутся, заморожен, можно брать с видом на море, но цена будет сильно выше.
Несмотря на этот нюанс я смело рекомендую эти апартаменты.

Aktuell wird der Aufenthalt geprägt von der gigantischen Baustelle des Hotels nebenan.Hier sollen in den nächsten 2 Jahren ca. 270 Eigentumswohnungen restauriert werden.Während dieser Zeit werden wir uns dort nicht noch einmal aufhalten!Das Appartement ist ansonsten recht hochwertig und modern (Miele Küche - tägliche Spülmaschinen-Reinigung Boxspringbetten usw.

Bei Wind (5. Etage) sehr zugig. Fenster/Tür schließt nicht bündig.Die Lage ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, nebenan steht seit Jahren eine riesige unfertige Bauruine. Aufpreis für Meerblick 100%. Dennoch wegen der Lage und dem Service zu empfehlen.

Clean and spacious apartments. Wifi is free amd there is daily cleaning. However be repared when booking, a lot of the apartments don't have a balcony. Also the restaurant and bar are at another location about 250m away. Bith a reason for me to deduct a star. There is 1 pool where it was really quiet during our stay (good thingfor us). There's a reception but only during the day (I think they leave at 9:30pm) where you can book excursions as well. Garage Parking and save are free but you need to pay 50euro deposit cash. Be prepared though, the parking garage is not fit for huge cars as there are very narrow passage ways and all kinds of crazy corners. There is a free parking lot outside as well, but it was always full with people visiting the beach. Parasols for the beach are free as well and you can leave it with you during your whole stay. The beach is literally down the road. But the waves are a bit higher here, so not suitable for little children unsupervised.

Positivo-. La habitacion tipo apartamento estupenda, electrodomesticos miele, dos cuartos de baño, terraza, al lado de la playa, muy espacioso, dormitorio totalmente independiente
Negativo-. Muy negativo las vistas a un descampado descuidado y lo que es peor a un hotel abandonado lleno de pintadas que daba miedo, poco menaje ni escurridor para verdura o pasta ni tijeras ni cortador de pizza, faltaba una mesita en frente del sofa y el aparcamiento subterráneo si el coche es grande tipo monovolumen es muy dificil aparcar sin arañarlo ta que está lleno de columnas dificiles de evitar, si consigues un sitio accesible no lo puedes mover o tienes que aparcarlo fuera.
Conclusion-. Totalmente recomendable si consigues que te den vistas al mar o donde sea excepto el hotel fantasma y si vas con coche pequeño.

Boring hotel but lots of space in the apartment.
You also gets access to the village 5 min away with pools and gym... that helps a lot otherwise 3 stars.
Cleaning is really good and there is parking in the basement.

Very disappointed. WiFi and phone not working half our stay. This block seemed empty and any facility for us to use was in another hotel 10 min up the road. View from the windows was of a large derelict building. When we mentioned our unhappiness we were told that we booked a land view. We found a large dead bug, squashed in our bed, the dish washer tray fell out. We were not offered a safe key although the safe could not be used. The tv remote didn’t not work.

The property itself was OK, but the hotel being connected to an old derelict building made the view from the balcony extremely unpleasant. The photos on Expedia conveniently cut out the derelict building, which was very misleading. In addition, the staff were not very helpful when we tried to change to the same level of room, but on a different floor. Also, the price they tried to charge for moving to a sea view room was unreasonably high, and I found out later on that the price was much higher than advertised on their website.

DO NOT STAY HERE! When checking in, we waited outside for over 20 minutes with our luggage until someone could come check us in. When this woman came, she mentioned going to the other site for “breakfast included”. We aren’t breakfast people but since it was “included” we went. AFTER eating, we were told we had “accommodation only” and needed to pay. The woman (who checked us in) RUDELY denied she ever said that. The other woman was just as rude. I guess they don’t care about customer service or being accountable for their mistakes. Also, you are literally next to a huge abandoned building, which of course they fail to mention when booking. The view and walk to the beaches is amazing and why they get one star.

Very spacious with only a couple of small maintenance issues that were largely insignificant. Large balcony but water collection in uneven spaces and shaded from mid morning onwards limited its use.Minor details that would have been helpful: oven gloves, place mats and coasters, scissors, kitchen hand towel. Also, not re-arranging the towels every day when we have elected to re-use them and would like to know which is which!Overall a lovely stay.

Die Unterkunft war sehr großzügig und sauber! Das Bett war sehr groß und auch sehr bequem. In der Küche war auch alles vorhanden was man benötigt nur ein Geschirr Handtuch hat und gefehlt. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hat uns Bett empfangen. Leider war neben der Unterkunft eine ziemlich große Bauruine was etwas das äußere Erscheinungsbild gestört hat. Aber alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt!

Appartamento dotato di ogni confort, ben arredato compreso di elettrodomestici di buon livello, pulizia regolarmente eseguita, personale disponibile, accogliente e gentile. Spiaggia raggiungibile in un minuto e, nonostante molto frequentata ad agosto, ci si adatta con facilità...panorama spettacolare. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono...Vacanza vissuta con soddisfazione

The location is nice, a few hundred meters from the beautiful beach. The amenities are not as nice, as the hotel is attached to an abandoned building and surrounded by less desirable property. The walls are a little thin (hearing sounds from other apartments) while furnishings are really top notch, nice. Staff were helpful and we enjoyed the stay at this property.

À deux minutes de marche de la plus belle plage et pas trop loin des autres attraits. Très belle bâtisse et appartement. Grand, propre et neuf. Stationnement intérieur. Je le conseille fortement.L’accueil Se fait directement à cet hôtel durant la haute saison. Il y a quelqu’un entre 10h et 18h, pas besoin de se rendre à l’autre hôtel.

Las instalaciones están bien pero no son ningún lujo. Los espacios son todos muy amplios pero básico todo. Por el precio que pagamos por noche (más de 200 euros) esperábamos bastante más. Tiene garaje y está al lado de una playa muy bonita. El wifi no va tan bien. Es una buena opción pero muy cara para lo que es.

Super Unterkunft! Bei Fragen hatte konnte man entweder im eigenen oder im Partnerhotel nachfragen. Wenn man Aktivitäten im Hotel bucht zahlt man keinen Cent mehr als woanders. Unsere Putzfee Rosa war super! Ein wunderschöner Strand genau vor der Türe und ein weiterer Traumstrand in 5-10 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen!!!

The property itself is clean and comfortable. It is walking distance to the beach, but about a 10-15 minute walk/3 minute drive to the main area of Lagos. We arrived pretty late (around 9pm) and checkin at our building was not available so we had to go to the other building which was about 10 minute walk away/2 minute drive. The place didn’t have any water bottled water in the fridge, or coffee/tea, or snacks, but there’s a mini store up the street at the top of the hill that sells the common items. It has pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, a lemon squeezer for some reason and more. If you’re considering renting a car, there’s plenty of parking around the building. Overall I would recommend this property. It has been the most comfortable during our two week trip across Europe.

They pretend to be 4 stars but not a all. It is a block with apartments, suites next to an abandoned building. They sell apartments with sea view but at floor 2 you can sea partially the sea and more the parking....inside the apt is clean but seedy....the customer support is zero, they don’t have solutions and if they have you need to loose one beach day to change the rooms! The location is very good next to the beach and the breakfast is amazing. The cleaning ladies are very ok and polite.

So far so good, the apartment is new, clean and spacious. Also nice and close to the awesome beach but close enough to walk to restaurants and stores. This is for a family of 4 with 2 young kids. Missing a couple things in the kitchen like a grater and a large bowl but overall not a deal breaker.

Everything was ok, location of the hotel is good but it’s eight next to a very old and ugly building - the parking lot is soooooo narrow that inexperienced drivers would definitely have issues. We also didn’t find the hot tub that was advertised in photos and the pool is way way too small. However the service was good and our apartment was very nice

Great location (next to the beach), the suite is clean and modern. The receptionist was nice to help us make dinner reservation and arrange for airport transfer.Was disappointed with the sea view of 1 bedroom - the view was obstructed by the suite next door and it didnt have the 2 big floor to ceilling windows in the living room like it is shown on the orbitz website. The picture on orbitz for 1 bedroom was misleading!! Wish there was paper towels or cleaning clothes for cleaning the kitchen.

It just takes 5mins to Dona Ana beach. It was best place to enjoy the beach. And the view of sunset at the hotel was impressive. If u visit Lagos i recommand to stay here

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Bad recht komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Strandnähe ist genial und zur Altstadt benötigt man zu Fuß ca. 10-15 min. je nach Gang. Das einzige und leider große Manko an der Unterkunft ist die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer, wir hatten 2 unruhige Nächte obwohl sich die Nachbarn nur in normaler Zimmerlautstärke unterhalten haben. Ob es mehr nächte geworden wären kann ich aufgrund dann erfolgter Anschaffung von Ohropax leider nicht beurteilen.

Phenomenal location just steps from the beach. Very modern, comfortable, clean, and convenient rooms. I've never actually seen a beach hotel have working AC and clean floors devoid of sand, but the Villa Doris Suites had all! An absolutely perfect place to stay to enjoy the beach in Lagos and a fairly quick walk downtown.

Das Appartement ist grosszügig und sauber. Die Lage ist super. 15min zu fuss bis in die Stadt und nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Viele Parkplätze vor der Haustür oder auch einen Platz in der Tiefgarage. Diese ist sehr sehr eng, aber der Zugang ist nur den Gästen vorbehalten..Der Wagen steht dort entsprechend sicher. Fernbedienung für die Garage gibt es gegen 50€ Kaution in dem Nachbarhotel, in dem man auch den Check in durch führt.Die Bauruine grenzt direkt an die Villa Doris Appartements. Man sieht sie also nicht, wenn man sich in dem Appartement befindet. Daher stört sie auch überhaupt nicht. Die baugerüste drumherum weisen darauf hin, dass die Ruine bald umgebaut werden soll. Die Räumlichkeiten wurden täglich gereinigt und mit frischen Handtüchern ausgestattet. Spülmaschine aus und eingeräumt. Sehr sehr ordentlicher Service! Der Kontakt zum nahe gelegenen Hotel der Kette Hotel Sonels ist 24std am Tag verfügbar und sehr freundlich. Hier kann man sich jeden morgen an dem reichhaltigen Buffet bedienen. Für 14€ pro Person.Die Ausstattung war ausreichend. Zwar sind alle Geräte der Marke miele. Es gibt aber eher wenig Geschirr und Besteck. Für 4 Personen wird es schon knapp. Geräte wie Mixer oder Pürierstab oder auch Auflaufformen fehlen. Das Mobiliar wie der Tisch ist schon etwas abgenutzt. Die Stühle eher günstig. Leider fehlt es auf der fantastischen Terrasse (!!!) an Liegen.Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Die Anlage ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht, komplette Küche, Fernseher, Bad mit Wanne und Bidet ( markenhersteller). Gute Lage zum Strand. Tiefgarage ist super klein. Angrenzend ist ein Altbau ( verlassen) nicht schön. Empfehlung wäre ein Meerblick Zimmer. Frau Miryam vom schwesterhotel ist sehr nett und hilft einem weiter. Danke!

Perfekt gelegen, klasse Meerblick, moderne Zimmer, nicht allzu weit zum Stadtzentrum und vor allem zu den phantastischen Stränden dort.
Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen und kann ich absolut empfehlen.

Perfectly located hotel 2 mins from the beach and short walking distance to the main streets where the pubs and bars of lagos. We stayed in a family apartment with another couple and enjoyed breaktaking beach views from our massive balcony. Lagos is expensive so relatively speaking prices are reasonably priced. Hotel also provides beach towels and beach umbrellas and service is fantastic. Would definitely come back again.

Apartamento totalmente equipado y con garaje para coche , aunque e garaje algo reducido para aparcar .Muy limpio, todos los dias hacian limpieza y cambio de toallas , tambien con toallas para la playa . El apartamento tiene wiffi con router propio, lo que facilita conexion a interne estupenda .esta situado al lado de la playa Dona Ana, la cual es preciosa y nada peligrosa . El personal muy amable nos explicaron los lugares a visitar. Esta situado a 7 minutos minutos en coche del centro de lagos .

We had a suite with a spectacular ocean view. Sunrise was outstanding. Perfect time of year to go, Mid-September. The beach and the city center are both within easy walking distance. We plan to return and when we do we will definitely stay at the Villa Doris Suites. It far exceeded our expectations.

Appartamento nuovo, con tutti i comfort, peccato ci fosse un odore persistente di muffa in tutto l'ambiente. La colazione, veramente ottima ed ampia peraltro, era servita in un'altra struttura non proprio vicinissima e la famosa vista mare promessa e pagata non c'era. Pulizie non sempre all'altezza.

Ubicación perfecta al lado de una playa preciosa y alejado del bullicio del centro, el apartamento es precioso y amplio, tiene todo los utensilios necesarios en la cocina, servicio de limpieza diario, toallas para la playa, si tengo que poner una pega, sería el parking que es gratis pero es una auténtica aventura el aparcar entre tantas columnas, volvería a Lagos y volveria a estos apartamentos

We had an amazing stay here. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The beach is only at a 2 minute distance down a flight of steps. Beach towels are provided and umbrella if you need it. Excellent location and price.

Гостинница находится в 100 метрах от океана. Современные и большие номера, недорого, до 80 евро сутки на двоих. Парковка, спа, спортзал и другие развлечения бесплатно. С едой не было проблем. 5 минут на авто до ближайшего супермаркета Лидл. Интересные места для фотографов по всему берегу Лагоса. Объязатель сходите к маяку, 15 мин пешком, красивые места.

Das Appartement war viel zu groß für zwei, aber toll ausgestattet und sauber. Das Hotel ist direkt am schönsten Strand der Algarve und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir bekamen viele Tips für die Umgebung und jeden Tag frische Strandhandtücher und einen Sonnenschirm umsonst. Lasst euch bitte nicht abschrecken von dem heruntergekommenen Gebäude direkt nebenan, denn auch wenn dieses Haus mal dazu gehörte ist es seit 10 Jahren leer stehend und hat nichts mit dem Zustand des eigentlichen Hotels zu tun.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist ist optimal: in Strandnähe und für kurze Spaziergänge ins Städchen. Verschiedenes ist verwirrend: Die Reception liegt 250m entfernt in einem anderen Hotelkomplex und es gibt in diesem Hotel keine Verpflegung - nichts!Vorsicht! Der Shuttle-Bus vom Flughafen Faro ist in der Regel NICHT organisiert!!
