Avoid this place at all costs! The owner is a sociopathic liar and scam artist as many TripAdvisor reviews will attest. Positive reviews and home website are fake. Our group of 12 had the misfortune of wiring 7500€ + 1800€ damage deposit to the owner Maria Mendes Fonsesca for a villa for the Golega horse fair. 1 week before the fair she messaged me to say the villa was in disrepair and that she was trying to find another. Then began a series of unbelievable lies and avoidance that would require pages and pages to write. The end result was our money was stolwn and we are now in litigation. Avoid at all costs!

SIMPLY A GORGEOUS PLACE! We stayed at a modern and comfortable Garden Suite with view tô the swimming pool. Wonderful ! Unforgettable is breakfaat table, All good and fresh things you can imagine ! The owner is a fantastic hostess and helped a lot with all detailed information we needed during our stay. Already booked for next year!

The owner is very plausible but the majority of the images used are fake. Stolen from the web. You have to pay in full, up front by bank transfer, in my case I was then met with a further demand for €690 for a damage deposit bond. It was refundable on checkout. Except it does not get refunded. Go on TripAdvisor and see all the other people who have been scammed. The 5 star reviews? Check them out, they are written by the owner! There are 5 bedrooms in the main house, all dated. 5 units in the garden, clean, dry and warm but overpriced. Do not pay by bank transfer!
