This was a nice place to spend a night. It has a swimming pool too. Unfortunately we arrived here too late and we could swim only a bit , because it was too cold outside. The room was very nice and the food was not very good, but the owner was a nice guy who walked the El Camino I think. I recommend this place,even is a bit far from the main Camino sign.( If I remember well about 800 meters).

Po ciężkim dniu wędrówki w upale sięgającym 40°, jest to wspaniałe miejsce na odpoczynek. Właściciele są poprostu niesamowici, jedzenie pyszne, ceny bardzo przystępne. Pozdrowienia dla szefa kuchni. Jedynym minusem może wydawać się położenie ponieważ alberga leży około 2km od camino, ale w mojej opini warto zboczył z trasy, żeby naprawdę wypocząć i nabrać siły na kolejny dzień.

Wczoraj podczas Camino z nowymi przyjaciółmi spałam pod gołym niebem. Dzisiaj nawet nie marzyliśmy, że trafi nam się taki raj na ziemi! Wspaniali ludzie, pyszne jedzenie, znakomity relax przy basenie oraz świetnie spędzony czas podczas gry w bilard. Bardzo gorąco polecam. To są wakacje podczas Camino! Dziękuję bardzo

The host family is extremely friendly and the son, who is the chef, cooks EXTREMELY good food. This is also one of the few places to drink Guinness on-tap in this part of Portugal. I highly recommend this place as a stop on the Camino or a simple stop-in for a drink, bite, and friendly conversation.

Great hosts amazing food! My friend and I stayed there for one night while doing the Camino. The owner was super friendly and extremely welcoming. The son cooked really good food and had done the Camino before so gave us really good recommendations. If you can, I would definitely stay here.

This was a great place to stay. Im irish and stayed there 15th June 2018 while walking the Camino Portuguese - they're all expats from the U.K. so speak perfect English. It was a huge bonus to get some English food (fish and chips) and they also made me an English/irish fry the next morning which was great. They also have a bar with very reasonably priced beer and Guinness plus blankets on beds in the albergue and an outdoor pool - plus had a few games of 8 ball pool with the owners. One friendly suggestion for the owners would be to better sign post it because I met 5 people the next day who were trying to find it but couldn't and ended staying somewhere else. Thanks for the stay - would stay again!!

Fun people! Could be cozier but lots of nice touches already - we hear changes are on the way :) Food by Paul was GREAT! We had the British Roast brunch. Yummy!! The stellar bar service by Ben from London surpassed our expectations and Claudia, our Portuguese waitress ... well, we would steal her if we could!!! Bravo! We will be back.

Having visited Amigos Cafe Bar before and since the new management took over, it's been really wonderful to see the place grow with interesting food options like tasty tapas and cocktails, a Sunday roast lunch and even vegan and vegetarian options available as well. We experienced a very warm welcome and lovely service, nothing seemed too much with the staff going above and beyond when we needed to change our booking at the last minute. Definitely be visiting again and so great to have a place like this locally, that is obviously being innovative with offerings! Thanks so much....

Aims at expats. This was our third visit in 3 years. Always the same. Snooty service, very cliquey. Overpriced, averagly cooked good. Same few regular customers. A few more smiles and a positive welcome to newcomers would go a long way to improving it.

The only restaurant around that doesn't only serve Portuguese food and offers various really tasty vegetarian options. It's run by a friendly English family. Totally recommend this place, will come back for sure!

Des gens très sympathiques et accueillants cette famille anglaise au Portugal. Nous avons pris 2 soupers incroyablement délicieux. Des ribs, poulet asiatique et fish and chips. Les portions étaient très grandes. On y retournerais sans hésiter.

Bar de extrema simplicidade e com um acolhimento especialmente agradável. Atendimento caracterizado pela enorme simpatia com preços bastantes acessíveis. Óptimo para uma paragem no caminho ou após o jantar para umas fresquinhas e dois dedos de conversa. Também têm refeições. Just a little heads up: it will be good if you speak english...

John , Paul and Wendy are a lovely family who couldn't do more to accommodate for us . The food and drink was fantastic and enjoyed ourselves here many times . Great bar with a nice atmosphere . Will definitely be back :)
