I would never ever use 'ZOOSAUDE' Veterinary Services & Vet; Paulo Sousa in Penela ever again, as our Fit 5yr old Pedigree Retriever dog died under very mysterious circumstances, which started off as just a stomach infection as proved by the vets in Obidos, and they could not understand why this vet in Penela had to do an operation 1 week later at all, as he claimed he had an obstruction from sand from the beach in Obidos? Our dog did not have a temperature & had been drinking & eating fine & had no pain, his blood work & his blood glucose were normal. Our pedigree dog died within 72 hours under this vet and had lost 5 kilo's in weight & appeared to have undergone 2 needless operations. One of his assistants dragged our dog across the floor by its lead nearly strangling it when I intervened, her name is Paula Simoes . He did not receive I.V Fluids or anti-biotics or any after care after the operation's as they all go home for lunch & we had him at home at night. After the 2nd operation they all went home for lunch and when they came back we had a phone call to say he was not doing well and then a few minutes later another call to say don't bother coming here he's dead from a heartless Dr Mafalda Moreira. When we got him home we also noticed one of his back molar teeth had been broken right off. He was a very much loved & well looked after fit pedigree dog and something strange went on at this surgery and we will find out? Plus there is no staff there at all at night when they close...( This review can only be posted if we apply a star which the VETS totally do not deserve, only our baby boy Balou deserves the Star...xxx...) 17th August 2018 R.I.P. Veterinários extremamente competentes e cuidadosos com os animais! Moro na cidade de Coimbra mas desloco me sempre a Penela com a minha gatinha porque só confio neles. Para além disto, são a clínica com a melhor relação qualidade/preço, praticam os preços mais acessíveis de todas as clinicas que já visitei

Na madrugada do dia 1 de julho a nossa amiga Mimi foi atropelada.Foi assistida na clínica veterinária em Penela onde permaneceu duas semanas. Graças aos cuidados e profissionalismo de toda a equipa, a Mimi está recuperar muito bem e já fez alguns progressos.Caminha sozinha e já não precisa de ajuda para ir fazer as necessidades fisiológicas. Durante o internamento fizemos várias visitas e fomos sempre recebidos com simpatia.Apesar da distância, as viagens da Sertã até Penela valeram a pena. O nosso sincero agradecimento! Tenho uma cadela que foi colocado o microship nesta instalação há 8 anos e não foi registada no SIRA. Lanço o aviso aos detentores que tenham feito o mesmo verifiquem o registo na plataforma. Estas acções de má fé deveriam ser severamente punidas porque colocam em causa a identificação dos nossos pets.

Sempre atendida de forma humana e sensível, eu e a minha menina de 4 patas.Sinto-me tão acolhida e confiante com a fantástica equipa, que vou de propósito de Coimbra a Penela, só para ter a minha cadela ali tratada, apesar de não faltarem veterinários em Coimbra. Fantastic services and very sympathetic towards pet owners. The staff and vetinarios speak good English and explain things in easy to understand language.
