Had a meal here with my wife and 2 year old son while on a short break in Portugal. The staff are polite and friendly with well spoken english making it easy for us and the look and feel of the restuarant is nice. We ended up ordering 9 Tapas and chips for our son as that is all he will eat, and though the waiter told us this will be too much, we appreciated his help but still went ahead as we like to sample different foods. All of the dishes were yummy, the only thing i would say is the mixed seafood with chorizo etc was a little too salty, but i think this is with all Portugal restaurants, they like their salt out here and doesn't mean its bad, just we dont have that much salt usually in our meals. The prawns with garlic and chilli was not what we expected, we thought it was going to be pil pil style where its sizzling and peeled prawns, but we still ate the dish and enjoyed it, just prefer it pil pil style. Our favourite was the potatos with egg and truffle - this was truely delicious, something we never tried before, so simple but so perfect! The steak, the meatballs the cheese the patatas bravas, the deep fried brie the bread everything was delicious and we enjoyed it very much, probably the best meal we had during our stay in Portugal of 5 days. Only negative was the calamari, they were the bog standard onion ring looking things, and were not to the high standard of all the other dishes - i would suggest either removing it from the menu or finding a better product... Our bill came to €92, it sounds pricey but dont forget we ordered MUCH MORE than an average couple would plus we had dessert, big bottle water and 2 pots of mint tea too - we were happy to drop €100 here as we were left smiling and satisfied with what he had got, and our 2 year old son had fun playing around and being free to be a kid, plus he ate all his chips! Not sure if we will be back to this part of Portugal again, but if we ever are, will definitely stop by for another tapas. Thanks

We had an amazing evening of great Tapas, wine and Prosecco ... Being shown around the wine cellar by Rafa was a great experience and a nice touch to the end of our night. A fine selection of tapas with the added surprise of a great wine cellar and humidor. Lovely seating area outside as well as in and it has the best chocolate mousse in the area. Service next to none.

Love this place. Food is superb with a great variety of dishes to suit all tastes and at a good price for this area. Excellent wine selection. Fred and Natalia are always friendly and welcoming.

Me gustó el lugar, gran selección de vinos y muy buena comida. Nis dejamos aconsejar por el jefe del restaurante que nos saco vinos diferentes en función de la comida. La comida excelente, no muy portuguesa, son mas tapas españolas que otra cosa pero muy buena. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque uno de los vinos que nos sacó era Español, ya que estabamos en Portugal, mejor que todos lo vinos fueran portugueses para probar algo nuevo.

Very nice place, great food and wine. We had a kind of a menu where they brought us several Tapas so we could try different things, which is mostly good except that some Tapas are hard to share between a whole table... I don't give it 4 stars because of the location, but I have to say it was full to bursting so I guess it is not a problem for most people. Try the American Cheesecake, amazing!

Proper Spanish tapas in Portugal, the fried baby squid a rare delight. The quality/price ratio is very high, every dish we had was perfect although a phased service would have improved things even further.

Posticino accogliente sulla strada per Vale do Lobo. Ci siamo fermati qui al rientro dalla spiaggia. Serve tapas e vino di qualità. Bella presentazione e buone materie prime. Adatto per spuntino con amici e piccoli gruppi. Si può mangiare anche fuori.

Very nice place, very friendly staff, good selection of food at reasonable prices. The recommended wine was definitely great and we had a very nice evening. Don't miss also the desserts, all very good.

Zeer vriendelijke en eerlijke bediening. Deze mensen hebben hart voor hun zaak. Het eten is Portugees op Tapas wijze geserveerd. Er is een uitgebreide wijnkaart en de geserveerde wijn wordt correct uitgelegd. Ik beveel dit restaurant van harte aan.

It was quite when we went there. The food was fantastic. I picked 4 tapas and 3 were 8/9 out of 10. Delicious. The wine selection is brilliant and I was recommended a very good wine by the glass. Staff were fun and attentive. Definitely a place to return to.

Nice place, friendly service but it is not enough to make a good restaurant. The food was so bad. It was clear that all was prepared in advance. Plus, we were 4 people and 2 were sick after dinner. Don't go there.

Serviço péssimo Para os preços praticados. 8 euros, 3 tiras de entrecosto sem sabor ?? Mas o que é isto ? Para 3 tiras que só meteram molho de pacote lá para cima e já Está. Muito mau, acho que temos de ter um bocado de noção em relação aos preços praticados e aquilo que oferecemos, já provaram aquilo que mandam ? Já nem falo da quantidade mas do sabor, já provaram? Para aquilo que uma pessoa paga a comida vem sem graça e sabor algum ! Só o vinho é que se aproveitava infelizmente pois o espaço é muito giro e acho que conseguem fazer bem melhor do que aquilo que estão a fazer de momento.

Adoro o atendimento e as opções de escolha. Gosto das favinhas, dos ovos rotos, do tamboril com molho asiático...tudo muito bom e num ambiente descontraído.

Nette Lokation. Allerdings sehr teuer. Wer gerne für abgezählte 5 Gambas in Mini-Schale 9,50€ ausgibt ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Weinempfehlung war sehr gut.

Very tasty tapas and an extensive wine list. Everything for a decent price. Inside is cosy, outside so-so, as you sit on the parking lot. Very friendly personal that go out of their way to accommodate their guests. After a little food accident a member of staff even gave a complete treatment to the soiled garment. Tapas are of good quality, with the shrimps standing out. On Wednesdays the Nepalese chef does a 3 course Indian/Nepalese menu which is highly recommended and a great value for money.

Very yummy dips for the tapas. The chilli garlic prawns and the octopus salad were very good. Classics all, nothing rare, except porkcheeks maybe. Beautiful and relaxing location. Good place to chill out in the shade during a hot afternoon. Excellent port wine. Other wines reported to be outstanding as well, but we didn't try. One waiter was very helpful and quick, the other not so much, but both friendly.

We had been for dinner and took the chef special.. to be honest was the best choice, food was awesome.. Restaurant ambience is perfect, the staff are very nice. Every dish on the chef special was amazing, the chef special is for two people but we were over fed . Little unfortunate that we couldn’t taste the yummy desserts..

Friendly welcome, opening the door and greetings at entrance. Cosy atmosphere and a choose of nice deal combos (Chef's selection for 2 at € 37,95) or a la carte tapas (which we preferred because of the more special dishes than the Chef's selection). Many wines from mainly Spain, Portugal and Italy, but also some from Chili and South Africa and enough choice by the glass. Nice background music from different time periods of the past, overall a very warm and welcome experience. Good value for money and especially friendly and good service (the right balance of attention, without being pushy at all). We even got some advice for other restaurants when we asked for it in another town. Keep up the good work!

Been here three times while on holiday in Portugal. Great service and lovely food. Great selection and always plenty. Make sure you book for the evening. Sticky ribs and garlic prawns were excellent. Also loved the calamari.

This was truly awesome. Everything. We are a portuguese couple living abroad for many years. This is not necessarily traditional portuguese cuisine (although some items are). Everything delicious. Definitely a must.
