Já frequento este restaurante há algum tempo, os pratos são sempre inovadores e deliciosos. Para mim é o melhor restaurante de Coimbra, mas tenho medo que os preços estejam a ficar um pouco inflacionados.

I have been here with my wife and we had octopus that was incredibly cooked, delicious. Than we had tartar beef it was simply amazing. Desert perfectly served. We enjoyed a cosy and friendly atmosphere. They have an incredible selection of wines. Definitely a perfect place to go. Highly recommended.

Awesome place with some of the best fine dinning in town. The matured meat is especially good, but the remaining dishes are always a surprising combination of flavours. My favourite restaurant in Coimbra!

Wine was excellent because of an incredible selection. Food quality standards are high, but dishes are generally small. Tomato or carrot salads are so tiny (less than half tomato or carrot in a cup) that they can hardly be defined as side dishes.

Muito ruim. Falta de pessoal para atender as mesas. Pedimos um robado, após meia hora o garçom nos avisou que não tinha mais. Nos foi sugerido um vazio que estava extremamente duro...sendo que as carnes maturadas são a especialidade da casa.

Mediocre and expensive food, comparatively to some great places you could eat at in Coimbra. Very slow, stilted and... strange service (never before have I seen a waiter taste the wine before me). This place feels like it's trying to punch above its weight.

Service and food were ok, but not exceptional. They aim for a fine dining experience, but are punching above their weight if you ask me. "Selection of craft beers" was really just three different types of beers from a local brand (beer was good though). For the meat lovers, I asked for my steak bleu, and was disappointed to see medium rare. Only afterwards I was informed they cook it sous vide - which is great if you like the meat at that particular degree of doneness, but limits other options since apparently they do not adjust the cooking time per customer's requests.

Restaurante con unas ocho mesas y una decoración cuidada. Al tratarse de un puente estaba bastante vacío. El personal es muy amable y los tres platos que probamos exquisitos. Repetiría para probar otros. La calidad precio muy razonable. En definitiva, una buena opción si pisas Coimbra!

All the food tasted amazing.
Staff was extremely friendly and very polite.
My congrats to chef Pedro Gama Santos for the great job with the matured meats and the menu presented.

Fantastic food and wines! An absolute must visit if you are around Coimbra or travelling from Porto to Lisbon. Started with backed foie gras, followed by stuffed chicken breast and a chocolate fondant for desert. High standards, great service. Obrigado!

Highly recommended. The place is cosy, the food is great especially the maturated meat which is rather special : you need to try it!
Above all, the waiter was amazing: I took a dessert I didn't like but, hey, that happens. He came, ask about it and brought me a new one. He did not make us pay for the two desserts, which I've found very generous!

Best restaurant in town. The staff are very knowledgeable and take great pride in their work and the food they serve. Targeted menu of only a few items normally indicates dishes that will be excellent and they did not disappoint. I had the Pork Belly starter and the rib-eye main, my girlfriend had the mozzarella salad and the octopus. All dishes were satisfying portions and superbly cooked. The wine suggested was also delightful.

We have just returned for a birthday dinner, made special by very attentive staff. Food both pleasant on the eye and palette. In relaxed surroundings. We had a share meal of cheese, tabua de queijos which was scrumptious. Followed by an interesting peito do pato, duck, and chicken ceaser. Was pleasantly surprised by the bill, despite having beer, wine and a very good port.
Very good indeed, just wish we were stopping in Coimbra longer so we could return.

Visited for dinner in April – had beef tartare (perfect taste), duck as a main and crème brulee and glass of Porto wine for a desert. All dishes were presented in nice way and tasted good. It is hardly possible (for me) to cook in such way at home.
They have big collection of Portuguese wines and experienced personnel can recommend wine depending on your taste. Food type – fusion food, mature meat and amazing desserts. They are open for lunch and dinner – it is worth to make a reservation (they speak English).
I will definitely come again to try mature meat steak and have a glass of wine!

This is a MUST try! Professional staff, Elegant Restaurant and Amazing Food. You will be happy you choose to eat here. The food is on par with a 5 star chef and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. We have been here 3 times and are lucky enough to live here so we will be back again and again! Thank you for remembering us and welcoming us back.

Our hopes for some non-traditional and a bit more innovative food in Coimbra were high when we read about Notes.
But what a disappointment with the quality of food. Rather bland and tasteless. The bife with port wine tasted rather watery. All our dishes were only lukewarm when they were served.
The service though was attentive and caring.
The idea and concept of Notes have potential but unfortunately the food lacks refinement.

Absolutely great food (tapas to share!), big selection of wine and craft beer, excellent service and staff that is happy to take some time and explain the local and regional specialties. They have a stylish bar as well and a wine shop for take out. Higly recommend.

Bajo mi punto de vista el mejor restaurante de Coimbra. El único inconveniente quizá sea el tamaño de las raciones que no es muy grande, pero lo demás es EL MEJOR. El trato es excelente, amplia variedad de bebidas y la calidad de los platos es extraordinaria.

Run into this Bar & Kitchen while visiting friends in Coimbria, what a great find! Seems to only have just recently opened, we had some great wines and tasty dishes to share. Their wide offering is great and the service was also above and beyond! Would definitely visit again.

Being on holidays with friends, we found that new restaurant in Coimbra. Must say the atmosphere is great, the team is very nice and helpful but most importantly, the food is amazing and there is a large choice of Portuguese wines for us to discover. Will definitely go back on a next trip to Portugal.
