Wunderbare Bootstour mit einer tollen Karavelle. Man fühlt sich fast wie ein echter Pirat. Die Crew und ihr Kapitän Herrmann sind sehr professionell und sympathisch. Mit der Karavelle fährt man in die Nähe der Höhlen und Strände und von da aus geht es dann mit Beibooten weiter in die Höhlen oder an die Strände. Hat wirklich Spaß gemacht und ist jeden Euro wert.

Wir haben heute die Bootsfahrt 2A (Piratentour und Grotten) gemacht und leider zählte die Erfahrung zu den schlimmsten meines Lebens!! Wir hatten Riesen Wellengang und fast alle auf dem Schiff haben sich übergeben!!
Der Höhepunkt war, dass wir mit kleinen Motorbooten in kleine Grotten gefahren sind! Dort waren die Wellen noch mehr zu spüren mit Kindern war es wirklich grenzwertig! Vorher kam leider keine Warnung!!
Meine Kinder und ich haben und mehrmals in den Grotten übergeben und als ich den Fahrer bat zurück zum großen Schiff zu fahren beschimpfte er mich auf portugiesisch und fuhr einfach weiter!
Auf der Rückfahrt hat die Hälfte der Leute unten an Deck gepennt und weiter gekotzt!!
Eine gute Idee, die leider voll nach hinten los gegangen ist!
Und dafür habe ich auch noch 110€ gezahlt!!

Wir sind am Dienstag, 18.6.2018 mit lieben Leuten fast den ganzen Tag auf See gewesen und haben eine schöne Zeit gehabt.
Die Besatzung ist mehrsprachig und hat wirklich jeden Spaß mitgemacht, sodass die Zeit wie im Flug verging.
Ich für meinen Teil würde jederzeit nochmal mitfahren und kann die Piraten Tour nur empfehlen!

Tolle Tour mit einer absolut freundlichen, ambitionierten und kompetenten Crew!
Das Schiff ist nostalgisch und die Fahrt unter Segel ein einmaliges Erlebnis.
Chilliges, leckeres Barbecue am Strand.
Wir sind begeistert und würden auch ein weiteres Mal mitfahren!

Robinson-Tour
Ein schönes Schiff mit mehrsprachigen Personal. Der Kapitän ist Deutscher. Man segelt mir dem großen Schiff und steigt für die Grottenfahrten in kleine Boote um. Die Einblicke in die Landschaft, welche man auf dieser Tour erhält sind bemerkenswert. Leider war bei uns das Wasser sehr flach. So haben wir die Grotten nachmittags im Trubel besucht und das BBQ fand nicht am abgelegenen Strand, welcher nur mit dem Schiff zu erreichen ist, statt. Würde mich daher im Nachhinein eher für Programm 1 entscheiden.

Sehr schöne Tour zum Abschluss unseres Urlaubs. Auch das Mittagessen war super!! Wir hatten die Tagestour gebucht. Leider hat am Ende der nötige Wind zum Segeln gefehlt, aber dennoch: Sehr gut! Auch die gesamte Crew war super.

This was a great trip, well worth the cost. The crew were great, especially the captain. We jumped off the ship and swam in the sea and explored many of the benagil caves. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience and is something different to spend the day. The crew of which there are many are constantlydoing something and entertaining the kids.
The beach is great and the food is delicious as well. Would reccomend.

Es una buena manera de visitar la costa y las cuevas en un barco pirata único, muy espacioso y confortable. En Alfanzina, los pasajeros se cambian a botes más pequeños que pueden ir a las cuevas para verlos en detalle, especialmente las cuevas de Carvoeiro, Benagil y Praia da Marinha.

Ein toller Ausflug.
Wir hatten die gut 3 sündige Tour gebucht.
Man fährt eine gute Stunde die Küste entlang und steigt dann in kleinere Bote um mit denen man dann an und in die Höhlen gefahren wird.
Das ganze geschieht in Gruppen.
Ein Teil der Gäste bleibt also auf dem Schiff und kann baden.
Der Kapitän und ein Teil der Crew sind deutsche.
Es wird sehr auf Sicherheit geachtet.
Eine Warnung für alle die eine Kamera dabei haben, in den Beiboten kann es ziemlich nass werden, bei uns Spritze ordentlich Wasser auf uns. Eine willkommene Abkühlung von der Elektronik allerdings nicht viel hält.
Ansonsten eine topp Empfehlung.

L'esperienza della giornata intera è stata formidabile. Tutto è stato puntuale. L'escursione con la barca è stata emozionante nelle grotte. Ci siamo fermati su una spiaggia raggiungibile solamente per mare e ci hanno preparato una grigliata veramente buona accompagnata da una insalata altrettanto buona. Per concludere frutta in abbondanza e da bere per tutti. Per finire nel ritorno abbiamo fatto un tratto a vela quindi trasportati solo dal vento. Complimenti all'organizzazione lo consiglio a tutti

Wirklich sein Geld wert! Eine sehr nette und erfahrene Crew mit einem tollen Schiff! Getränke und Souvenirs gibt es an Bord zu kaufen und der mehrsprachige Kapitän erklärt viel während der Fahrt.
Wir waren fast zu spät gewesen weil wir dachten der Ort während an der Stelle wo Google es anzeigt. Der Treffpunkt ist allerdings deutlich weiter südlich Richtung Zentrum.
Es ist wirklich empfehlenswert eine halbe Stunde vorher da zu sein!!
Die Grotten sind natürlich auch fantastisch und man wird mit den kleinen Beibooten schön weit in die Höhlen reingefahren.
Die Gesamtdauer der Vormittags-Tour beträgt etwas mehr als 3h.
Ein Jäckchen ist für jemanden, der schnell friert, vormittags empfehlenswert. Auch man am Hotel noch denkt "ach brauch ich nicht".
Die Nachmittagstour ist bestimmt auch super. Da wird echt gesegelt und man kann Baden. Dafür fährt man wohl in weniger Grotten.
Für Kinder zwischen 3 und 10 Jahren jedenfalls ein super Event und die Erwachsenen haben auch ihren Spaß!

Safety and weather conditions brief before the trip started and we were on our way.
A guided tour of the events and buildings we past along the way was very informative.
Once we arrived at the caves we moved to smaller boats with life jackets and explored the various caves and had time for a swim
Beverages can be purchased onboard.

Been on this fantastic Santa Bernarda Pirate Ship trip around Algarve coast & the ship itself was worthwhile alone on it’s one. The ship crew was really good with special mention to the owner, a German lady who I forgot the name. She was very nice & together with her husband & crew, they really do a great job. The trip was fascinating & the views stunning!
There is a moment during the journey where we board the small boats to then start the caves visiting...properly inside them. Brilliant! Then back aboard for the return trip whilst enjoying a glass of beer at the ship’s bar.
The pirate ship is well maintained & it gives a nice feel for what those discovery days back on the 1500’s might have been like. A truly memorable experience!
Thank you Santa Bernarda team for making of today such a memorable & beautiful day!

A very pleasant two 3 hour cruise from Portimao to the Benagil caves. The crew pointed out the sights along the way. The small boats that took us into the caves were expertly crewed. Refreshments can be had on the ship. Great time. Highly recommend.

What an incredible day. I quite honestly have nothing negative to say about the entire experience.
ABSOLUTELY go for the full day excursion. It was engaging, the crew had a great energy that we fed off of, and they were all incredibly friendly as well. Always ready to help or offer assistance if it was required. They even passed around motion sickness pills for those who don't have their sea legs. I'm surprised at how attentive the staff were.
Everything was incredibly well organized, the BBQ on the beach was to die for. Sardines, Portugese sausages, beef and vegetable skewers, fresh garden salad, all of the soft drinks and wine you could possibly drink (at no extra cost, although the beer you have to pay for). Fresh fruit as well. All on a secluded beach in Ferragudo, while you're sitting on your beach towel, soaking up the sun, exploring your surroundings.
You also see the caves and the beautiful beaches ocean side and spend the day on a friggen incredibly well maintained Pirate Ship. What more could you possibly want?
Spend the €; you will not be disappointed.

No me gustó mucho, nos preguntaron si había españoles( nosotros y otra gente dijo que si) y aún así no hablaron en español el todo el trayecto... Pero para mí lo peor fue, que era un barco tan grande que no pudimos entrar en las cuevas( y todas las barquitas estaban entrando)...
Nos bajaron a las cuevas de benagil en unas barquitas más pequeñas que le llamaban apoyo...éramos tanta gente que lo hicieron tan rápido que no nos dio tiempo a verlas... Y las barcas íbamos cómo latas en sardinas para aprovechar el máximo espacio...
El personal muy amable y agradable( aunque una chica en concreto, que parecía la "jefa" o la que manejaba las cosas, nos hablo un poco mal)
Las cuevas son bonitas, pero para entrar y hacer el recorrido íntegro en barquita pequeña, personalmente no lo recomiendo

Skvělý zážitek. Posádka super. Na člunech vás vezmou do jeskyni benagil. Měli jsme velké vlny- šplouchalo až na palubu. Super.

Se navega por parte de la costa este, recorriendo las principales playas y grutas de Benagil (entre otras). En un punto concreto abandonas el barco para visitar el interior de las cuevas en lanchas de apoyo (se dividen en varios grupos) (esta parte es mejorable, vas apiñado en la lancha) . Todo está personalizado para simular embarcaciones piratas. En mi opinión, una experiencia recomendable si viajas al Algarve. Hay 2 turnos, uno por la mañana.y otro por la tarde de 3 horas y 3 horas y media respectivamente. Hay una tercera opción de día completo en la que se incluye una barbacoa en la playa. En el de la mañana hacia un frío tremendo. En el barco tienen mantas y abrigos por si fuese necesario.

Rustig varen naar de grotten en daar overstappen op een sloepje. Daarmee de grotten in. Veel relaxter dan de vele andere trips naar de grotten. Geniet van de kustlijn, haal een hapje en drankje. Trip duurt 3 uur. Veel aandacht voor kinderen, met piratenhoed en geweer op de foto. Vriendelijke bemanning.

Sehr tolle Tour. Kann ich nur empfehlen! Es macht einfach nur Spass mit dem Schiff entlang der Küste zu segeln u die gute Laune der Deutsch,englisch,Französisch, Spanisch u portugisch sprechenden Crew zu spüren. Mit kleinen Booten ging's in mehrere Höhlen hinein. Sehr spannend. Super mit Kindern zu machen. Für diese ist es ein Abenteuer pur mit Carlos dem netten Piraten zu spassen u Bilder zu machen. Wir kommen wieder!

Excellent and very helpful crew! I really enjoyed my trip in the Santa Bernarda Pirate Ship, it was very entertaining. The crew offered coats and coffee/tea to people that were cold, and helped people that felt sea sick. We went on a small boat to go into the different caves which were truly mesmerising. I definitely recommend exploring the lovely caves with this ship.

We went on this trip during high winds, and the captain told everyone that we wouldn't be visiting the caves, and that people were welcome to rebook when the wind had died down. We decided to stay, and had some money taken from our ticket price, which was very reasonable. The views were absolutely stunning. While it would have been lovely to see the caves, we completely appreciate the reasoning, and are grateful for the discounted tickets price. I would recommend bringing a light jacket as it can get cool on the way out, but they do have jackets and blankets onboard as well. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Portimao.

A great trip out to sea from which you transfer into smaller boats to explore the caves off the southern Algarve coastline. A fantastic welcome and the captain of the ship's seems to speak every language known to man fluently.

Uma experiência fantástica num verdadeiro barco pirata. Tripulação simpatiquissima e divertida . Tem saídas de dia inteiro com almoço incluído por 70€. Parece caro mas vale o dinheiro.

Tolle fahrt mit einem Piratenschiff. Die Crew war sehr aufmerksam und hat gerne Fragen beantwortet und wenn möglich Wünsche berücksichtigt. Das Schiff, der Kapitän in Piratenoutfit, der gute Service, das alles lassen meiner Meinung nur 5 Sterne als Auswahl, da auch der Preis angemessen ist. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Nos encantó!! El viaje merece el dinero. El barco es muy bonito y bien preparado, el personal muy agradable y nos han dado un muy buen servicio. La barbacoa en la playa fue riquísima, comida de sobra par todo el mundo y fresca. Lo recomiendo 100%.

O barco pirata é um barco de madeira que imita as antigas naus portuguesas. Esta embarcação dedica-se ao turismo levando os turistas numa viagem de 3 horas ao longo da costa. A meio do caminho os turistas entram em embarcações mais pequenas e visitam o interior das maiores grutas da costa. Por vezes avistam-se golfinhos e o capitão deixa os turistas mergulhar a partir do barco. Uma manhã bem passada.

Nice crew - helped us while seasickness overcame most of us. - do not understimate this while planning.
No sailing just with motor.
Would not recommend with small kids.
Caves are amazing.
The pirateboat is also made lovely. Just some silent sailing parts where missing.

This was a great trip out, we took one of the afternoon caves trips. It was really lovely and the coast of Portugal was very beautiful. The crew on the ship were very friendly and helpful to everyone and knew a lot of different languages. The boat was nice with the sails up and you are free to walk around most areas of the boat. The pirate captain was a barrel of laughs and we liked the whole trip a lot.
The sea was very rough and when it came time to transfer into the smaller boats I was not sure that we were going to go ahead with it as the little boats were being thrown about all over the place, but we did go ahead with it and no one ended up in "the drink".
I didn't think that the main boat was particularly unsteady but a lot of the adults were being sick and had to be tended to by some of the crew. The crew seemed to be quite experienced dealing with this. But really, if you get sea-sick, probably give this a miss.
In the bar they sell rum. You should have some rum, then you can say you drank rum on a pirate ship.

This was a very entertaining experience. The water was extremely rough and about 80% of the people vomited. I was one of the lucky few who didn't. Regardless it was great to see the coast line and all the caves...and diving into the sea from the top of a pirate ship was my favourite. I recommend this.
