really nice and casual place, the staff helped us with info about the public transport, and was really supportive, giving a small surf instruction for beginners, even though we only rented. and they lent a bike for us to get a snack at a supermarket. the place is awesome for beginning surfers, no waves and not busy while we were there. the boards were not in prestine conditions anymore, but totally fine for beginners, the more advanced boards and sails looked excellent.

El sitio lo recomiendo por que la zona es preciosa y las intalaciones están en un sitio perfecto para aprender y progresar en todos los niveles. Espero poder volver pronto!

I had my very 1st wind surfing lesson with Bo yesterday and 2 hours later felt on top of the world. An old dog learnt new tricks! I highly recommend this established place and it's excellent instructor...beyond all my expectactions.

They cancel our class, the instructor and the manager gave us contradictory explanations. Their organization was messy. we ended up taking a class in another school further south instead.

I've learned how to kitesurf here! The spot is amazing and perfect for many different sports and activities. The place is at the Aveiro's lagoon (Costa Nova) and very close to the ocean beachs with surveillance during the summer. In the lagoon I found it the perfect spot for learning kitesurf, I felt very secure during the lessons. The instructor is very supportive and is still available any time for answering me any question I have regarding the sport in order to progress quickly. Only nice people around. I highly recommend it.

I rented a bike from RIACTIVA via bimbimbikes after some search on google. For me it was the first time. The experience was very positive, perfect service, bike and very friendly and willing owner. I recommend and hope to get there again - with their bikes:-)

I could not have hoped for a better experience. No reservation necessary, although it may be more busy during the fall when the surf specific folks are there. I rented a longboard and wetsuit for way cheap. The surf was a polar opposite of my ineptitude to catch a swell, but the equipment was perfect. I came back, and they were friendly and hospitable. They were eating lunch, and invited me to join in. I offered to wash the dishes afterwards, and they accepted. Super sweet people just being what they are as entrepreneurs. I want to move to the area so I can be a member of the club.

Great staff who really love their job. They are always kind and also very experienced. I can highly recommend this place for people who love watersports. There is a beautiful view on the river which is great for stand up paddling and on the other side is the ocean which great for surfing. Thanks once again for the awesome surfing classes.

Fantastic scenary on "Ria de Aveiro" lagoon and lovely beach. You can rent catamarans, canoes and other nautical equipment as well as have kitesurf and windsurf classes. Anyway, its near Aveiro but not quite at the city of Aveiro: Costa Nova beach is located in Ílhavo Municipality but it's only 20 minutes by bus. Recommended.
