Melhor almoço de todos os tempos caseiro acolhedor informal amigos nao se nota quem é cliente e dono do restaurante adorei repetir sempre que vier a Coimbra. Preço super acessível comida caseira mas acima de tudo podia ser a nossa casa

Don't be put off by the location (if going there in the evening, ie dark street) or lack of the Portuguese language knowledge, this place served us the best food we had in 14 days we were in Portugal! We only spoke English, the wonderful lady did not understand a word, but with the help of Google translate we got the best meal in the town! Recommend to everyone!

Out of the usual tourist path, the Tasquinha T'Irene is a great and authentic portuguese restaurant. Most of the products comes from local organic gardening and the owners Irene and Aida made our entire visit the most welcoming and enjoyable experience we've had in town. Certainly a place not to be forgotten.

Deprimente, podría ser la palabra para calificar semejante antro. No pongo estrellas negativas porque no se puede. El local no cumple ninguna de las condiciones de salubridad. Tuvimos que decirles que nos cambiarán 2 vasos llenos de restos de comida. En las aceitunas que te ponen de aperitivo había un araña. La comida grasienta y muy mal cocinada. Ojo! Que no soy nada escrupuloso, pero esto ya clama al cielo. Cuando estábamos sentados se fueron otros comensales sin apenas tomar un aperitivo. Otro que iba a entrar igual que entro se marchó nada más ver el percal. No tomamos ni postre ni café y por el precio que nos cobraron he comido en otros sitios. Lo que no entiendo es cómo la gente puede calificar bien este sitio. Yo cuando calificó un restaurante lo hago para que tanto el resto de la gente como el dueño se pueda beneficiar. No para confundir a la gente. En pocas ocasiones he comido tan mal como en este sitio.

Não é mto normal dar 5 estrelas a um restaurante... mas vou dar fácil 5 a esta tasquinha porque merece!! Por fora não mostra a qualidade e amor que a Ti Irene mete em cada prato de iguarias que faz... fomos recebidos com amor dentro duma casa com mta história!! Mto obrigado pelo jantar, nós da nossa parte adoramos e vamos voltar!!

El mejor lugar para comer de todo Coímbra. Irene es una amor de persona que hace sentir que la conoces de siempre.

We were there at night and it looked closed. The door was ajar and we went in. Glad we did!!!!!! After a lot of gesturing and using google translate, we managed to get this lovely meal from tia irene. She was so hospitable and warm and patient with two foreigners who could not speak Portuguese. She was just happy that we were there and showed us her photos etc. Please visit!!

Like being at home in a family reunion with Grandma cooking for you. If you're looking for a fancy classy place please go somewhere else and leave the place for those able to appreciate it!

This place is a must for everyone who can appreciate unique wine and decades of experience in the kitchen. The owner has a great personality and is extremely hospitable.

Cucina casalinga, non esiste un menù, Irene ti serve quello che ha! È necessario telefonare, essendo casa sua apre se ha ospiti altrimenti la porta rimane chiusa. Posto rimasto fermo nel tempo, Irene è di una gentilezza e genuinità commoventi. Irene parla solo portoghese e capisce un po' di italiano, è un'avventura comunicare con lei ma è un'esperienza proprio unica.

A true hidden gem! Simple and unpretentious! Irene and Aida were extremely nice to us and our 3 kids. They accommodated us after 14h when many restaurants are closing. Food was simple and like from our Brazilian granny's home. Entering it feels like going back in time.

LOCAL PLACE. Couldn’t want more from it! Owner is extremely friendly, also having an desire to show all the best of Coimbra cuisine to his customers.

Come here for an experience! The lady "Ti Irene" started it in 1977 and is still there, keeping the traditions... the modernity here is not the case, don't come if you want this. It is all old style, not as a concept but as a need... the old family takes care of business, takes the notes in a piece of paper and sometimes you have to "remind" them about the drink you have asked for... :-) The food is a surprise... depends of the lady's day but the likelihood of good food is high. Come here if you want a different experience during your stay in Coimbra.

Une cantine chaleureuse et familiale. Osez pousser la porte, installez vous dans l'arrière court et remplissez vous l estomac avec bonheur. Ici c est la cuisine du coeur, les recettes familiales qui redonnent des forces le tout avec le sourire et une extrême gentillesse.
