The only place you should stay in Lagos. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast included and close to everything. The rooftop terrace had beautiful views of the city and ocean. Best air BNB I've ever stayed at.

Das Wohl der Gäste, liegt João & Maria sehr am Herzen. Sehr gutes Frühstück, jeden morgen einen anderen frischgepressten Saft. Sehr gute Lage. Parkplatz um die Ecke. Leider war die Matratze unbequem. Ansonsten immer wieder gerne. Gute Tipps für Ausflüge bekommen.

Marvelous breakfast, nice atmosphere, eggs as you like fresh made. Crepé as bkfst highlight... Super friendly personal and reception at the first day full of practical information. A guiding Walk was included to get orientation at the very first day. Awesome view from the terrace.

Thank you so much to Maria, Carla & Joao for an amazing experience. Rooms were as advertised, simple, clean and functional. Excellent location, a few minutes walk to the main street with brilliant resturaunts and bars. Super quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed wine on the terrace each night and a beautiful continental breakfast each morning. The terrace had a fabulous view of the old city. Our hosts couldn't be more friendly and helpful. This place is amazing. Not just because of Joao and Maria - owners that will help you with anything you might need (probably best service we ever had in a B&B), but also the perfect location - in the heart of the city, but without noise that usually is found. Suggestion #1 for Lagos.

I’ve spent one night at João’s B&B. I must say I’m still speechless. João is so nice and welcoming. He explained to us all what’s worth to see in Lagos area and even walked with us in the streets to show us the city. The place itself is so adorable and charming and has a great vibe and a perfect location just near the Main Street. Apart from that, the breakfast was perfect. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wishing to travel Lagos and All the Algarve area.

La ubicación de hostel es buena y es fácil aparcar en frente de este, se llega caminando al centro del casco viejo en 2 minutos.

Great hosts who will do everything they can to accommodate and genuinely care about their guests. They want there guests to experience the best of Lagos and Sacred, and they'll provide useful tips so you can enjoy things a little more like a local than a tourist. They also take care of you, including sunscreen and hydration reminders, and encouragement to get some rest and relaxation. The guest rooms are nice, the common areas and the breakfast are fantastic.

Every house has a good soul, as they say. I found even several of them here, all in one and the same place. People who open their hearts to you the moment they meet you. The "Three Marias" in Lagos is filled with an atmosphere of warm cordiality. Here they not only care for the comfort of their guests, they make them family. Everything is simply and comfortably furnished. Again and again, lovingly arranged details show up: a few shells on the little table in the room; two matching flat stones on the safe; a glass of sea sand on the sink in the bathroom. The absolute highlight is the breakfast terrace. The view over the city on one side and down to parts of the old city wall on the other is breathtaking. Gulls laugh through the morning as their shadows glide across the floor and tables. From a terrace below, two cats are watching you curiously. The tables are perfectly laid, the extensive range of food awaits you on a buffet directly under the kitchen window. Here not only the body is strengthened for the coming holiday day, but also heart and soul get nourished. The hosts lovingly inquire about the previous day, the current well-being and plans for the next hours. Maria, Joao and Manuela are always at hand with tips and tricks to make the Lagos/Algarve experience even more intense for the guests. The breakfast offer consists of different kinds of bread, yoghurt, honey, chocolate cream, jams, sausages, cheese, fruit, olives, tomatoes, coffee, juices, homemade lemonade ... You should not refuse the offer of freshly prepared eggs. Scrambled and fried eggs are simple culinary delicacies. And if there's no bacon, the host is about to apologise with a cheese filled omelette. On a Sunday it happens that a fresh pancake is casually placed on the table. My favourite: add fresh fruit, drizzle honey over it and sprinkle everything with cinnamon. I had my birthday during my stay. Of course this did not go unnoticed. And then they came out on the terrace with a cake on which the candle was burning for the coming year and they sang "Happy Birthday!" to me. Thank you again, dears! Besides, breakfast lives from communication. The atmosphere of kindness seems to attract such souls. And already one is in conversation and exchange with ladies from France, an Australian lady on a European tour, with boys from Berlin and with a girl from Denmark. The "3 Marias" in Lagos is for me without doubt an answer to questions that had not even occurred to me before: In what way do I want to be treated on holiday? Exactly: In the same way I had the pleasure to experience it here! I would come back with pleasure again, dear hosts of the "3 Marias".

Such a great experience! Beautiful home, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Beautiful terrace where guests can have breakfast. We met Joāo and Carla - both were wonderful, and made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommended.

Very good! Joao and Maria helped us make the most out of the days we had in Algarve! The breakfast is great too. It's 5 minutes away from a free public parking.

We felt at home. That sentence alone is how we feel about our stay at 3 Marias. Right as we "checked in," we were given a map to show where everything was in the town, wifi password, our room, etc. The places they suggested were all winners. We went to where they suggested for dinner and it was amazing. We were plesantly surprised the next morning with the breakfast. Amazing selection of eggs, toast, cereal. Basically anything you can think of they had. The rooftop terrace/patio is amazing. You see a beautiful view of the ocean. The location of the accomodation is in Old Town, about a 5 minutes walk to the main plaza and the beach. The shared bathroom and bedrooms are incredibly clean. We needed our laundry done and literally within 3 hours, it was washed, dried, and folded in our room. My husband wanted to go surfing, Joao made phone calls for us to let us know where the best surf was that morning. Talk about service! We told Joao we needed to be at the train station super early the morning, he was incredibly kind and ended up giving us a ride there! Talk about hospitality! Needless to say, I cannot say enough good things about this guesthouse. This was by far the best leg of our trip. Thank you Joao and Maria!

I loved my stay here. It was clean and all 4 staff members were super friendly. They helped plan our day, gave great advice on what to do and made me land my boyfriend feel very welcome. The breakfast was amazing and the location was perfect very close to the main square. I would definitely stay here again if I were to go back to Lagos. I loved it from start to finish. Thank you to the owners and staff of the 3 Maria's, you made our holiday that little bit more amazing.
