I haven't a reservation but I am on time to the check in. I waited 1h until a man comes. Two other guys tell me they waiting three and four hours with a reservation. The Hostel was okay. Nothing great but ideal for staying just one night. On the next day I want to check out and nobody was there. 2 hours and nobody came. I phone the guy but I didn't get him. So I leave without a check out because I have to get my train.

great people! it's difficult to get ahold of the front desk person or the owner, but they're super nice once you do. very cheery vibe with fun communal areas to hang out and meet other travelers. would 100% recommend!

Lovely hostel, great location, friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed and great area on roof for chilling in the sun.

We went there to spend one week in Lagos for our holidays, despite some bad reviews we can say that the place was clean enough and the people who work in this hostel were amazing, all kind person that offer us free wine during the evening and share their stories with us. We spend a really good time there, highly recommended.

Friendly, cheap & clean place in center of Lagos. Just bring hearplugs for the noise and you'll be fine! Just one thing, our room door didn't close perfectly.

Disgusting and we weren’t able to get the keys’ deposits back It looked like nobody had cleaned the place. There was no toilet paper, and there was used toilet paper all over the floor because the bin was full... the shower I had to use had literally 5 balls of hair and the floor in the shower area was disgusting.. When we first arrived they asked for a deposit for the keys and when we left at 8am nobody was at the reception. We called the number for this kind of situation more than once and nobody answered. We kept calling the next day and they said they would transfer us the money, 2 weeks later we are still waiting and they aren’t answering the phone again..

Non saprei da cosa iniziare.. Al check-in troviamo al desk un ragazzo assolutamente spaesato e maleducato, non si sa da chi sia stato messo lí, ma sicuramente non gli é stato spiegato il suo lavoro. Appena arrivate non c'era traccia dei nostri nomi e delle nostre prenotazioni, cosí scoraggiate andiamo alla ricerca di letti in giro per l'ostello, troviamo questo letto a castello libero, sporco e traballante. Pulizia dei luoghi comuni pressoché inesistente; camere piccole, sporche, capelli e macchie sulle lenzuola, totale mancanza di comfort (camerata per 8 persone con solo 3 prese per caricare il cellulare); struttura vecchia in cui scricchiola tutto. Ma SOPRATTUTTO la totale mancanza di disponibilitá da parte della reception: tra le varie scortesie, la piú eclatante é stata la risposta "vai su google" alla nostra richiesta di info circa degli spostamenti. Unica nota positiva: La posizione di questo ostello é la sua unica salvezza. Centralissimo, nel pieno della cittá. Ad ogni modo, mai piú!

Nice view from the terasse of the room- but the "roof terasse" are in fact 3 ugly plastic chairs. Loud beds and no privacy in the room. Checkin Not 24 hours. Hospitality ok but nothing Special. All in all pretty Bad.

I have to be honest, picture looks exactly like the hostel is (obviously Photoshop included), but the reason why I'm giving only 2 stars is because of the cleaning ( blankets had dirt on it plus some of the ripped), lack of security in the private twin room ( doors barely close and even open if you push them) plus they did not provide towels, covers (we had to use our sleeping bags!! We have been in many hostels around Portugal during our trip and this unfortunately has been the worst of all

The bed was horrible squeaky and noisy. The hole building is really poorly soundproofed. There were Ants in my bedroom and I swear by God I saw a cockroach in the kitchen. When I checked in the staff was friendly but next day nobody was there so I called the number of the hostel and the guy at the phone is really unfriendly. In the men's toilet was sperm all over the wall. Absolutely disgusting ! ! ! I booked the hostel for 4 nights but had to leave it after the first night and they told me I have to pay 3 nights now. No friendly service

I did write a review but have changed my mind over the place over the last few days. The hostel is fine for a few nights some where to chill out, meet some people and be in the heart of the town we had the 4 bed female dorm which was nice because we met 2 sisters who were awesome from Jordan. The only downfall about the room was it overlooked the terrace so if your thinking a quiet night sleep is in order then maybe think again. Also the common room is next to the dorm which qas a nightmare. I know the hostel can't control who stays there and it is out of there hands but some thoughtful rules could be put in place. The room needs to brushed and cleaned as the only maintenance it has is your bed changed for when you check in. I suppose the cockroach we saw is testament to that. All the staff are lovely bar one... but hey you can't have it all. On the all I'd stay in this area again just not this hostel. ...

My room was really bad actually it was a storage room it open on the living room and the window overview the terrace which mean i will never be able to sleep because people here think it’s okay to keep laughing out loud and partying until the morning like it’s their own backyard!!! Besides no wifi in the room not even on what they call a living room only in the reception!! The worst hostel I’ve ever been to!!!

El hostel en sí está bien, lo que está fatal es la 0 profesionalidad y compromiso que tienen los "trabajadores". Hicimos una reserva por teléfono, nos la confirmaron y al llegar y dar el nombre resulta que no había ninguna reserva. Estuvieron para darnos una solución 2horas. Volveremos a Lagos, pero no a este hostel.

Very cheap hostel at a great location. The beds are ok, not super comfy though. The highlight for us was the terrace where we stayed nearly ever night to hang out with the other guests. The landlord even gave us some free wine and some free meal for us at two nights which was really awesome :)

I did my reservation by internet, one time there, the clerk said to me that none reservation was made, finally I had a room shared with other 6 persons. They only accept CASH for all the services. Wifi works in most of the places in the hostal. Rooms: too many people by room: seven or more Bathrooms: lack of toilet paper and soap.The staff need to learn how to serve the costumers. The hostal is in the old village... youre close to the beach and restaurants.

Beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable (no padding just springs), fridge was broken, rooms were open and noisey. Atmosphere wasn't good. Location was good and bathrooms were fine
