We stayed nearby and had breakfast/lunch at this place during our whole stay ! It has nice options for breakfast/lunch or coffee. We had omelette with mushrooms and a toast with chicken and tomato. Both had caramalized onions in them which made both the dishes super tasty ! We ended up ordering the same dish pretty much every day ! Highly recommended this place

This place could be so much better, waited ages for simple toasty, and it arrived tasteless overdone and my coffee arrived after several request just as I was ready to go. The waitress was great and friendly shame about the rest.

I had their lunch item (eggplant with mushrooms and cheese) and it came with sides of rice and salad. It was delicious. It has amazing value for money, seeing as it costs €6.50! The service was very friendly too.

The most ridiculous place ever!!! Be careful, you are not allowed to work here :) they will come and say it’s not allowed to use a laptop. Without any reason they will literally give you 1 minute to shut it down :)
I have never faced anything like this, funny and really sad.
Besides, the food is bad. Toasts are made on the old oil, there is no option to add a ham to scrambled eggs etc
DO NOT recommend it. Really, no reason to come here.

The place is nice, the brunch is really good. But there are things that cannot happen. Today I came with the intention to have a nice tea and eat something and when I took my computer to read, the waiter told me that is forbidden to use the computer from midday onward. They believe that I was going to spend the whole afernoon using their table... I was a regular client till today. This is illegal and cannot happen. I’m not coming back... very disappointing.

Wow, amazing brunch. Makes you feel set up for the week never mind the day. Great variety, limited choice to order - small or large. Great idea. There was a queue outside but once in the waiting service was fast. Great spot!

Quite wide selection of breakfast/brunch meals, both sweet and savoury. We had a scone with butter and jam, croissant with the same, and two plates of scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. All was delicious, the eggs were even maybe too much! Plus fresh OJ and coffee. Outside sitting area not super nice, possibly only reason to 4/5. Very recommended!

1er passage : jus de fruit frais, oeufs brouillés parfait, un petit bémol sur la brioche noix de coco très (trop) sucré. 2ème passage décevant par l'attente d'un simple chocolat chaud qui est arrivé 25min après tout le reste. Prévoir d'arriver pas trop tard car l'attente peux se faire sur le trottoir. Finalement je recommande pour les mets mais un peu moins pour le service.

Nice place in a quiet neighbourhood. Had breakfast there almost everyday while in Lisbon, as it was close to my accommodation.
It gets really busy during the weekends, so busy that they even have a waiting list.
They have nice sandwiches and good coffee, I would recommend it.

Was there twice. First time service was ok, coffee awesome, scrambled eggs not so good, croissant perfect.
The second time I was ignored for 15 minutes from the service, Table was dirty, coffee still awesome.
Think there are betters cafes in Lisbon. Disapointed!

Wir waren vom Service sehr enttäuscht. Ich hatte ein Käsetoast bestellt, worauf die Bedienung uns mitteilte, dass sie keine Toast mehr hätten. Alternativ bestellte ich ein getoastetes Käsebrot, auf das ich 45 Minuten gewartet habe. Der Kakao war allerdings sehr lecker

Our first stop in Lisbon for lunch and a very good one indeed. Not all foods are available which means that they cook fresh and sell straight away. Good size portions, fresh and good quality. Reasonable prices too.

Un café aussi bien pour déjeuner que petit déjeuner (ou même bruncher). Les produits sont frais, et très accessible. L'accueil est à revoir mais le reste vaut les 4 étoiles. Les verres de vin sont gigantesques et vraiment pas cher ! Allez-y !

El lugar es delcioso, pedí unos huevos revueltos con jamón y tomate y también un pan con jamón. En verdad tenía todo muy buen sabor y los precios son baratos para la calidad del desayuno. En verdad regresaría a este lugar.

Excelente opción para desayunar o tomar una comida ligera. El pan de las tostadas, muy rico (soy un maniático del buen pan ). Y hacen unas tortillas con varios ingredientes que le vi a unos vecinos de mesa, de cine. Nosotros probamos los huevos revueltos (mexidos) con queso muy buenos

I had gone to the cafe to work on a Sunday. Their menu offers quite interesting options at reasonable prices. Only, it was a bit put off as they have 'no laptops policy' during lunch time as it gets too crowded (that was the reason given to me). The staff was quite polite. Though the chairs are not too comfy if you are looking for a cafe to sit for long and work.

Average food, non-welcoming staff. I sat down and had just 5min left to start a meeting, and the hostel where I was supposed to be, didn’t open upon ringing the bell (where I originally wanted to have the call). Upon sitting down and opening my laptop, the owner came to me and explained that between noon-3pm there are no laptops allowed and that he needed my table (in a pretty rude way, wanting to kick me out and apparently not even asking what I wanted to order before judging the situation) - even though the woman who sat at the table before me and just left, had her laptop open and was working on it (it was 12:55 when I arrived). I explained to him that I was anyway going to order lunch and that, unfortunately, due to the above mentioned reasons, his Café was the nearest one and I was under time constraints. He then wanted to get my order without even bringing me the menu (only a few main dishes were written on the wall).
Very unpleasant experience overall, wouldn’t have stayed if I wasn’t under time constraints and without data on my phone.

Amazing place, food was amazing and reasonable prices. Super cute decor and the atmosphere is cosy and ultra welcoming. Staff are super nice and they accommodate well to tourists which is a bonus. Would definitely recommend this place and the hill up to the cafe is worth it

The Brick café was so good, I went four times in a week. The brunch on a weekend is fantastic and exceptionally good value for money (€7-8). By far one of the best cafés I visited in Lisbon and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The only down side to this is the wait to get in but it's never too long. A hip breakfast place with good WiFi. Unfortunately, most things on their menu are not gluten-free. I wish they had salads. Gets extremely crowded around lunchtime, but quite empty during the afternoons. Plenty of plugs for laptops, too.

It's a little away from the city centre and we found the neighborhood a bit too quiet. On the other hand it means did is good value for money. It's about 5 minutes walk from Anjos metro station but now it's uphill.
The café itself is spacious and welcoming. At about 11am on a weekday there were plenty of seats inside and outdoors (with a canopy for the blazing sun!).
The juice of the day wasn't that nice (tutti frutti) but my companion disagreed and liked it. Duck quiche was excellent and a complete bargain at 3 euros - very tender duck almost like tartare. The mains of a toasted sandwich and white fish with mash and vegetables were almost as good (the fish itself was filleted and excellent).

This place the the jewel of this neighborhood. It has good quality, good service at the best local price you can ask for. The portions are also double of other places. I got fresh OJ for €2 (twice as big as other places in center) Latte for €1.20 (triple the size of places in center), and croissant €1.10.
For food as in lunch options... it is only from 12pm to 3pm and the dishes for lunch change daily, so there is not set menu for lunch options, as they will write them on the board daily and no one knows what will be the dishes for tomorrow.
They also have an amazing breakfast option at local prices. If you come for breakfast, make sure to try their strawberry jam... it is to die for. Tasted like they just made it fresh for you. For lunch... I’ve had the vegetarian lasagna, salmon, vegetarian curry and the fish.... all were amazing.

Very good prices for what you get which is a delicious spread of fresh, crusty bread, eggs, salad, meats and cheeses as well as a coffee and a juice. We had one large “Brick” and one “Mini Brick” to share between two but were defeated by the portion sizes and ended up making ham and cheese sandwiches out of our leftovers to eat later! The cafe is on a quiet street in a cute neighbourhood so it was very enjoyable to sit outside and soak in the surroundings.

這家 Brick Cafe Lisboa 是在住宿附近誤打誤撞找到的，地點位於地鐵 Anjos 站附近，吃完之後只能給他「里斯本最好吃的一餐」這個頭銜，好吃到在離開里斯本前又前往二訪。
餐廳提供早餐與午餐兩種選擇，所有菜單都寫在牆壁上，但是只有寫葡萄牙語，不過也不用擔心，貼心的服務員會一一會你解釋。我們點了午餐中的鮭魚與雞肉套餐，原先沒有抱持太大的期待，但是當餐點上桌後，完全讓人眼睛為之一亮。主食的部分大概都是其他餐廳的兩倍，但是味道卻完全不馬乎，一套餐點平均只需要 7 歐元，再加一杯咖啡或飲料，10 歐元便可以飽餐一頓。

Von meiner Mitbewohnerin empfohlen ging ich als Neuling in der Stadt mit Freunden zum frühstücken dort hin. Der Service war super, die Atmosphäre herzlich, obwohl ein sehr hoher Menschenandrang stattfand. Das essen (Brunch/Frühstück) ist exzellent! Obwohl ich den Angestellten nicht bekannt bin, vertrauten Sie mir und reservierten mir einfach einen Tisch für 5 Personen, da ich noch etwas zu erledigen hatte und noch auf weitere Freunde wartete. TOP! NUR ZU EMPFEHLEN!!!

The fact that it's hard to find a free table says much. Very good food, nice selection and affordable prices. Value/price is best in the entire area. You can find local food and continetal as well. Worth to go. You will probably come here every day instead of breakfast in your hotel ;)

I went twice and had the same thing, coffee and omelette. The food and coffee were good and the prices are decent, but the service kinda sucks. They seem to have lots of staff, the space is small, so not sure why the staff ignore you? I wasn't going to go back after the first time, but I thought I'd give them another chance. If you just want a good coffee and don't care about the service then check it out, but if you want to sit in, just be prepared ;)

The coffee there is good but the service is being worse, especially during weekends. The waiter is always rude with poker face, maybe because of too much people. After 13:00 it will be very crowded. I prefer change to the smaller but warmer cafeteria on the opposite side of the road.

Os atendentes estavam um pouco desatentos (cheguei a pedir o menu três vezes até chegar até mim), mas talvez por ser um dia mais movimentado do que o normal e muita gente pedindo ao mesmo tempo. O chocolate quente é excelente. Talvez voltaria por conta disso.

Comida muy buena pero un servicio de atención al cliente fatal. Las chicas que sirven a la mesa justitas en simpatia, pero los que están en la barra no sonríen nunca y te preparan y traen los platos como si te estuvieran haciendo un favor. Un buen local también se hace con la amabilidad y simpatía de la gente. He ido tres veces para intentar ver si era un día o si ocurría a diario, y ocurre a diario.

Cheguei a local numa segunda feira nublosa a achar que posso lanchar aqui (pelas 15h-uma hora vazia) no entanto estava de passagem com meu cão (super tranquilo e comportado) ainda espreitei na porta se os animais não serão proibidos. Fiquei contente que não havia nenhuma placa a dizer isso. Sentei me é a seguir a empregada pediu me para sair. Fico triste que embora as leis mudam as mentalidades não. Quis ser simpática e correta, pena não ser retribuído. E também já que não tem a placa(porque não a tem então) - que tal ser flexível e numa hora vazia sermos minimamente compreensíveis?
Pensei que assim teria de apanhar frio e vento mas felizmente nums café próximo - Moko -aceitam os cães.

O espaço é 6 estrelas. A música ambiente é 6 estrelas. O menu é apenas 2 estrelas - não posso dar 10 porque senão quero mesa e não tenho de tão bom que é. Mais um espaço na nossa Lisboa que não pensa somente no turista. Parabéns por tudo o que são e por tudo o que dão!

Adorei a experiência, fui em família tomar brunch. Sugiro o menu mini Brick, o menu Brick acabou por ser exagerado. Na minha próxima visita vou pedir para trocar o fiambre por queijo. Ninguém comeu o fiambre, é de pouca qualidade. Sugiro pedir que tragam tudo ao mesmo tempo. Quando chegou a comida o capuchinho já estava frio e já tinha bebido o sumo de laranja.

I was not satisfied with the food at all. I ordered a toast with mozzarella, ham and pesto and I received just a normal bread, not toasted, not crispy and cold. I asked to tost it properly and after 20 minutes received the same toast which was toasted like 1 Minute longer, so inside was still completely cold and cheese was not melted at all. You could barely see lines of the grill on the toast. Come on, guys! It’s a toast! It’s not that complicated to cook! I also ordered a ginger tea and it was basically just water with a tiny piece of ginger. I said that I am not happy with it and they put another little piece of ginger there. Well, that helped a bit.
Take more care about your food, please.

Delicious breakfast. I had the pesto omelette... perfect balance of mozzarella cheese, dried tomatoes and pesto. Also, being as greedy as Americans are (lol) I also had a ham and cheese croissant. The espresso and orange juice was good too.
The only thing I didn't like was the attitude of the woman at the register. I couldn't hear her (as I'm deaf... and they SAW my group signing) and she seemed to have an issue that I asked for a receipt to see what the total was. She kept shrugging and just seemed so uninterested. Learn to smile--it makes a difference.
Just to be clear... the waitress that helped us was so kind but the lady at the register just ruined the whole experience for me. I had planned on staying a bit longer to order some pastries while doing some work, but decided to go somewhere I'd feel welcomed (literally a minute away).

Super café où manger. Nous avons bien été accueilli par les serveuses. Celle qui nous a servi nous a traduit le menu et nous a fait des recommandations. Nous avons pris le plat avec du porc et du riz. Accompagné de toasts de jambon fumé avec pesto. Puis nous avons pris un dessert à base d'amandes. Le tout était délicieux et pour seulement 32€ à 2 en comptant le café.

Went in for breakfast on my last day in Lisbon, came out pretty dissapointed. The coffee here is great, and the brioche croissant with butter and jam was fantastic. However the service was poor, my girlfriend ordered a coconut brioche croissant and the waiter gave her a regular croissant, and didn't say anything till we mentioned it, saying they"re out. He basically stopped coming yo check up on us after that. The omlettes we ordered were really runny, and undercooked, and it felt like because of how busy they were, that they were just trying to get rid of us as quickly as possible. At least the food came out quickly.

Great place to start the day, get lunch or chill in the evening. We came there to eat breakfast and even we came late they still managed to cook us something tasty. Placed a bit outside of the main ares, but thats only a plus. Great service and if you need a little push to travel here - Lidl is quite near alongside with the best view point in the Lisboa.
Service was very friendly and even that we have been travelling for a whole 12 hours (tired af) we understood the whole menu (written in Portuguese) and we drank great wine right on the first day of our stay!

Sou uma pessoa viciada em Brunch. Por mais locais que visite e frequente em Lisboa o Brick continua a ser o meu preferido, e a primeira escolha para Brunch com os amigos em Lisboa. Por não ser a única pessoa a achar isto, o tempo de espera acaba por ser algum, é um local de dimensão reduzida para a quantidade de pessoas que o procuram.

Le brunch n'est disponible que le weekend, mais il y a quand même beaucoup de choix, ce qu'ils appellent le brunch concerne surtout les oeufs. Les portions sont copieuses. Pour 2 nous avons pris 2 capuccinos, 1 enpenadas, 1 sandwich jambon fromage et un énorme sandwich toast poulet tomates oignon pour seulement 12 euros !! De plus cet établissement nous a était recommandé par les locaux.

Small, friendly and very popular brunch place. There are two brunch options: Normal or mini. The vegetarian is a mini-platter without bacon or sausage. Overall good value even if food isnt exceptional - but who needs a gastronomic experience for brunch!? We put our name down with waiter and joined the outside queue for 45 minuets waiting for our table. Larger groups 4-6 struggled with space since the cafe is small.

Wir waren Samstags hier und haben uns den Brunch Teller bestellt. Der Brunch läuft von 11-15 Uhr und ich muss sagen ich habe selten so lecker gefrühstückt. Die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung und es wird alles frisch und appetitlich angerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich hilfsbereit und schnell. Das Essen war frisch der O-Saft war frisch gepresst und der Cappuccino war auch lecker. Das Cafe ist süß eingerichtet und es kann dort gemütlich geschlemmt werden.
Ein ganz ganz tolles Cafe mit einem tollen Frühstück. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Das Brick Cafe ist auf jeden Fall sehr zu Empfehlen.

O empregado de mesa ignorava a minha presença mesmo, tive que mais que uma vez chamá-lo de propósito para me atender,... Café-Reataurante simpático, óptimo para uma refeição simples e diferente (os pratos têm ingredientes típicos confeccionados de maneira inovadora ou até inesperada, mas resulta bastante bem). Disponibilizam cadeiras altas para bebés e o atendimento é simpático e rápido.

The served food was tasty and the price was not high , because for 10 euros you can eat a large meal, including dessert.
Service is nice and helpful. At the next visit to Lisbon I will definitely go back there.
I recommend it to everyone!

Restaurante muito cool, bem localizado e ideal para um almoço descontraído no interior ou na esplanada.
Os pratos são simples mas com um toque gourmet e muito bem confeccionados... Cada dia a lista é diferente.

Gostei mesmo muito. Pedi o menu "mini Brick" para o Brunch e podem ver pela foto que chega e sobra! Com direito a pão e croissant e salame! E, claro, o prato com salada e ovos, queijo, presunto, etc. Bebida quente e sumo de fruta (natural) incluído. Pelo preço (+- 8eur) achei muito bom! Não aceitamo reservas mas não tive de esperar (e fui às 14h de um sábado), tem esplanada. As cadeiras e mesas são pequenas mas é porque o espaço também é minúsculo. Nos Anjos não se pode pedir mais. Não é fácil estacionar. Eu voltaria lá.

Sehr gutes Essen und sehr gute Preise. Perfektes Omelette und Rührei, gute belegte Brötchen und Croissants, perfekte Toasts, leckeres Müsli, guter Kaffee und frisch gepresster Orangensaft - So Haben wir hier 2 Tage hintereinander gefrühstückt und sind anschließend sehr glücklich und zufrieden in den Tag gestartet. Sehr sympathischer und aufmerksamer Service. Top

Great great place. I usually came here to work on weekdays (outside lunch period) and to brunch on the weekend. Great value for money relation, you won't be disappointed. The staff is nice and the venue is cool, with a great esplanade for the sunny days.

apart from the fact that they dont serve brunch during the weekends its a small placy but yhe food is great!
