This was one of very little places that was open in the morning on a bank holiday. It's a local café frequented by a lot of people who live nearby it seems. Needless to say pastels de nata were delicious and the owner (?) suggested we have them with cinnamon which I definitely recommend! The coffee was good and strong and good WiFi connection. The owner (?) was cheerful and helpful and didn't mind that we didn't speak any Portuguese (that wasn't a problem to order). We didn't feel rushed at all. If you're in Faro it's definitely worth walking a bit out of the center to visit this café.

We randomly found this place and we stopped for a small lunch. We had a hamburger and a chicken sandwich with homemade bread! Both were very well grilled and tasty! Also, we tried a perfect cake with strawberries. The space is cozy, the staff was very kind and they were speaking good English! The prices were very good.

To begin with- we have had the best pastel de natas of our trip here. They were absolutely delicious! beautiful and slightly spiced custard.
But in regards to the whole cafe- to be honest we were quite disappointed. After reading the reviews we were very excited but despite the reviews of good coffee- we received what tasted like a sachet coffee mix. My mother couldn’t even drink it. Our croissants could have been greatly improved- toasting them and adding a little flavour. The woman who served us didn’t seem very happy to be there and was quite sharp.
Probably wouldn’t recommend- except for the pastel de natas.. they were great!!

Super Cafe, hat unsere Tochter im Internet gefunden. Tolles Sandwiches und ganz freundliche Bedienung. Hsben für 3 Personen 12 Euro gezahlt, Getränke und Sandwiches. Die gute Beurteilung im Internet passt. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Urtümlich schön, lecker und preislich unschlagbar. Der Padron bat uns doch herein zu kommen. Wir probierten die kleinen Pudding-Blätterteigküchlein, tranken einen Cappuccino und einen Espresso mit Milch und bezahlten nur 4,10€!
Sehr freundliches Personal und auch bei Einheimischen beliebt. Sehr sauber und tolles Kuchen- und Kleinigkeitenangebot.
Sehr zu empfehlen und beim nächsten Farobesuch gerne wieder.

Great place for an authentic Portuguese Pastel de Nata.
Coffee is great as well! Friendly staff even showed us where is the closest ATM. Language barrier is not a problem, even for a tourist

J'ai choisi en fonction des bons commentaires, et comme étant réputé être les meilleurs du coin, et pas déçue du tout se sont vraiment les meilleurs que j'ai mangé.
Pate feuilletée croustillante, crème pas écœurante, pas trop sucré excellent on sent le fait maison!

Não é a primeira vez que frequento esta pastelaria. As empregadas que atendem ao balcão são simpáticas e muito atenciosas. O fabrico dos bolos que sempre foi bom, pareceu-me que estão a perder qualidade. Oxalá tenha sido uma situação pontual.

Un sitio estupendo para desayunar. Los croissants parecen estar hechos con la masa de los bollos de leche y los sirven con jamón y queso. Las Tostas son sándwiches hechos en la plancha, riquísimos. Y por último destacar los pasteles de natas, espectaculares. El precio buenísimo. El croissant relleno de jamón dos euros. El café con leche 1€.

Wir hatten im letzen Jahr ein sehr leckeres Frühstück in der kleinen Bäackerei. Freuen uns heute auf eine Wiederholung. Ganz besonders freuen wir uns auf die frisch gebackenen und köstlichen Mandelkekse.

I don't know why this pastelaria is not 5/5, they are really kind and welcoming. There are plenty of sweet and salty thing to try and some of toasts really surprised me. And pastel de nata of this place was also somehow unique I personally liked it a lot. Pricewise it is super cheap.

The place has various pastries and we ordered the pastel de nata. It's really not tbe best one we had so far in comparison to the ones in Lisbon or Porto, the thing was burnt (even though I was pointing to get a different one...) and cold even though it was a morning, thus probably it was baked the day before. Still I think it was tasty and I would come back again, maybe to try a different pastry.
