Terrible. The mixed pakora were not freshly cooked and the onion bhaji was very oily. The main dishes were spicy but did not have any other flavour and the chicken was tough and dry - as though it was cooked before and then added to the sauce. The breads were ok and the plain rice was good. This is the second time we have tried Guls and it seems to be consistent. I will not go again.

Comida com sabor excepcional, optimamente condimentada. No entanto, o serviço take-away é lamentável porque pagar 8,70 por uma dose mísera não compensa a qualidade da comida. Nunca mais encomendo deste restaurante, a não ser que baixem o preço ou sirvam as quantidades devidas para o preço alto que atribuem à comida.

Muito gostosa a comida. Ótimo custo-benefício para o almoço. Comi frango com vegetais.

Great as always, whenever we visit Coimbra we try and call in for lunch . fantastic food, staff are great too, recommend the lunch time menu, good value, also the onion bahjis and veggie samosas are delicious..... never been disappointed

Very disappointing. We ordered a medium Lamb Vindaloo, a Spicy Chicken Tikka Masala, and garlic naan for about €23, plus the Uber Eats delivery charge. Meat was cooked well, and sauces were reasonably flavoured, but the Vindaloo was thin and mild, the tikka masala had an odd thick texture and barely any spiciness. Rice portion was a little small, and dishes seemed to be made by adding the sauce to the meat rather than having the meat cook in the sauce. Considering the lack of spice, rice, and mediocre quality, I would give this a miss.

Por indicação fui ao restaurante. Chegamos para almoçar as 14:30, e atendente disse que se escolhesse-mos rápido o prato seríamos atendidos pois a cozinha estava fechando, disse: "Agente da um jeitinho" . Achei indelicado da parte da atendente, e agradecemos e fomos embora. Ainda faltava 30min para o fechamento da cozinha. Fato que não tínhamos conhecimento. Enfim, não voltarei.

A cosy, comfortable venue with decent curry and good service. Entrees are around 7-11EUR and the house wine is 6.60EUR. Staff were pleasant and attentive and the food was good. Only minor point was our dishes were not very spicy even after asking for spicy. 4*
