Waste of money, pretentious. Trying to be a modern cousin but clearly have no clue whatsoever. Wine selection was dull. Service was very good.

Divino. A comida absolutamente divinal, aconselho o atum braseado. Apresentação dos pratos requintado. Selecção de vinhos ... Incomparável. Funcionários de uma simpatia, professionalismo e solicitude sem paralelo. Posso sem dúvida afirmar dos melhores restaurantes do Algarve. Diria mais do País. Recomendo vivamente.
Os meus agradecimentos por um jantar absolutamente excelente. Até breve.

The food was not impressive and all too sweet for my taste (like the mango sauce in the tuna tartare)

Gute Auswahl portugiesischer Weine und gute Beratung. Etwas höher im Preis. 12,90 Euro für einen kleinen Käseteller mit wenig und nicht gerade besonderem Käse gehen aber gar nicht.

Ein sehr schönes kleines Wein Restaurant. Wir hatten Kleinigkeiten zum Essen und die waren exquisit. Man sitzt sehr schön an der Einkaufsstraße und der Wirt ist nett und aufmerksam. Wir fahren extra nochmal nach Lagos nur um dort zu essen.

If I was on death row I would happily pick this restaurant for my last meal and choose the octopus! By far the best meal we have had in Lagos! If I could rate this 10 I would, the wine pairing was exceptional, my partner also tried the osso buco (veal shank) which was amazing,lovely staff great service! Thanks so much

Para amantes del vino y para degustar comida portuguesa con toque moderno. Las raciones son pequeñas, son más bien para comer algo mientras degustas los vinos. El personal muy amable y el lugar original. Recomendable.

It's alright but nothing fantastic. We have been disappointed our two first choices were not available that day which they told us only when our choice was made. The wine they recommended us wasn't at our taste. So overall an average tapas place.

Die Petiscos sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben hier zweimal gut gegessen. Die Kellner waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

There are many good restarants in Lagos serving nearly the same menu. We were looking for tapas and stumbled across Taninos. We were in for a treat! From the goat cheese dish to the tuna, everything we ordered was fantastic and finally different from everyhint else in the city center. Please do yourself a favor and check out Taninos.

Despite the good reviews of this restaurant we were not convinced of the quality of the food served in this restaurant. The bread was not fresh and the squids and shrimps were not so tasty. We have eaten this typical food during our whole trip in the algarve and according to us there are better places (and cheaper) than this one. The street is very crowded, I hope you like animation. The wine was alright.
Service was nice though. Maybe we arrived a bit too late.

Bar, donde todo gira alrededor del vino. Muchas referencias de vinos de la región de Algarve y Alentejo, sin dejar de lado el resto de Portugal. También hay algo de comida para acompañar

Excelente comida, buen servicio aunque un poco lento. El pulpo y el braseado de atún delicioso, pero lo mejor, los postres. El mousse y el bolo de canela, para repetir.

What a great surprise! Very good food (petiscos/tapas style) and drinks. Recommend the Ceviche de Robalo, Lulas, seared tuna... All of them :-)

Absolutely fabulous. From the service, to the ambience, and across to the food...The food! This is an exceptionally well thought out menu. The dishes exhibit a balance in flavours and texts you usually only find in restaurants far more expensive. The wine recommendations were brilliant, too. Can't recommend highly enough!

Gran variedad de tapas y comida típica portuguesa. Todo estaba realmente bueno. Los empleados fueron muy amables. Por poner un pero, parece que no tienen extracción de humos o el día que fuimos no funcionaba, cuando salimos llevábamos un olor muy fuerte a comida en la ropa.

Abbiamo preso il baccalà ed il polpo con le patate novelle, era tutto buonissimo. Il tutto accompagnato da 2 bottiglie di vino rosso !

Heel goede service gekregen (extra tafeltje getoverd om met vier te zien). We hadden volgende lokale tapas: ei, worst, paddestoelen, rundvlees, octopus, ossobuco. De chocomousse en vijgencake als dessert waren de max. Bedankt.

End of November...misty....amidst the predictable tattooed beer swilling loud music venues ...stumbled across this oasis. A cultural and culinary paradise.
From the understated decor and ambience to the excellent food ...it didn't disappoint these three mature Irishmen.
We enjoyed the tuna
, fried squid ..fresh, salted octopus exquisite goats cheese , walnuts and rocket with honey /balsamic dressing.
Accompanied by a pleasantly chilled white.Vale do Ruivo...all for €70... reasonable considering ambience, food and service.
Ps....if you don't understand the English then,...probably not for you..!

Amazing food and wine. Absolutely great experience, with outstanding service - and the food, just really special. Try the octopus or squid, it really is worth it; and not even expensive. Wine list is great, too.

Odlot! Zupełnie przypadkiem trafiliśmy na to miejsce szukając wolnych miejsc w centrum. Wszystkie restauracje zupełnie zawalone, a tu
Prawie pusto. Trochę z obawami zdecydowaliśmy się zamówić jedzenie i wino i to był strzał w dziesiątkę! Wszystkie daninozepyszns (a byliśmy w 6 osób i kazdy wziął co innego). Wibo świetne (w końcu to winiarnia).
A desery! To już zupełny raj
Absolutnie musicie tam zajrzeć!

Finora la migliore esperienza culinaria un Lagos.
Abbiamo provato la tartare di tonno e mango, una vera delizia. Il polipo con la patata dolce è pura poesia. Abbiamo sperimentato anche i gamberi aglio e olio e i gamberi erano freschi. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino verde consigliato dal titolare.
Spendere qualche euro in più qui Valeria la pena.
Il locale è molto carino e caratteristico, musica portoghese di sottofondo.
Non dimenticate di chiedere il coperto, vi verrà servito un piattino di olive fresche in olio, una ottima crema di tonno, olio portoghese di qualità e burro.
Di solito nei ristoranti portoghesi, ho la tendenza ad evitare questi servizi, ma qui nev davvero la pena.
Se potessi darei anche una stella in più.

Food here was really good, we ordered all the cheese dishes and the beef, all of them were really delicious. The wines were good but they had not been recommended with the right pairing, if you go, make sure you order a lighter red (Dao) for the cheeses and heavier reds (Douro) for meats. The only dish I didn't particularly enjoy, contrary to reviews below was the braised tuna which was heavily salted, this may have been just an over seasoning for our dish. Reasonably priced for the quality of food, we both had 5 dishes and a glass of wine each for €54 + tip.

Eccellente ristorante nel centro di Lagos, facilmente raggiungibile dal parcheggio adiacente.
Abbiamo provato praticamente tutte le portate d’entrata...una più buona dell’altra...per non parlare delle patatine fritte ... il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino.
Per concludere....abbiamo deliziato il palato con una sublime mousse al cioccolato.
Non perdetevelo!

TODO ESTABA BUENISIMO, Os recomiendo muchisimo el atun, una pasada.

Modernes, kleines Resti an der (Fress-)Hauptstraße der Altstadt von Lagos. Preise wie überall (VS, HS, 2 Gläser Wein, Wasser und Kaffee um 40 €), aber sehr gute Qualität. Ich hatte Babykalamari und geschmorte Kalbshaxe (Ossobucco), beides vorzüglich!

I cannot begin to describe what the chef produces. It is really unbelievably fantastic. The sea bass ceviche is a must have. The food, ambiance, service, wine selection and suggestion is bang on. What a hidden gem. Do yourself a favour and stop in for a tapas delight. Enjoy!

Delicious seafood, friendly staff went there 3 times in 4 days. Recommend you Tuna Tartare and the fried baby squid, which are both extraordinarily good!

Excellent food with excellent wines selected by the glass and recommended by a very good staff. Zach introduced us to very delicate Portuguese red wines which we enjoyed with mango and tuna Tartare. Fresh and tasty. The mushroom stuffed with ricotta spinach and ham paired my 100% petit verdot with elegance. We just adored our evening and went home with a new opinion about the Portuguese production.

Best restaurant in Lagos. Great Portuguese wine recommendations, tapas style eating but with typical southern Portuguese food, great for sharing between two. Located right next to an underground parking and is right on the main streets of shops/restaurants/bars all open until late during high season. Friendly staff, even offered us a glass of Porto at the end. Finally, really affordable! Approx 65EUR for 4 dishes (enough for 2 - we are big eaters) and 2 bottles of wine (ans bid drinkers).
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
