I stayed 4 beautiful days at Cara Creek Eco Lodge for a yoga retreat, so peaceful and relaxing! I had the chance to stay in one of their pentagone, enjoying the river and the calm of the mountain. I've been so impressed by what Ashley and Rory made to build this little paradise, it's so nice to experience another way of life so close to the nature. I recommend this place to everyone.

We had a lovely time at Cara Creek Lodge, we absolutely loved being so in tune with nature. The place is peaceful, animals roam free, the natural pool is a delight and breakfast yummy. Ashley and Rory are very welcoming, so are the dogs and cats :-). Swimming in the creek was a perfect way to refresh ourselves on a hot day. We hope to be coming back next year for more of it and to see what s new (we were some of the first guests staying there). We definitely recommend it.

Cara creek eco lodge is just beautiful! I went there first as a volunteer in 2018 when they hadn’t long had the land and it was all about clearing space for building. Whilst there I did regular yoga classes with Ashley and fell in love with yoga, so came back this year to do my 200 hour yoga teacher training. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience - surrounded by nature, dogs, places to wild swim and the comfiest pentapod to sleep in - I honestly can’t wait to find an excuse to come back! Ashley and Rory have put and continue to put their heart and soul into cara creek and the building of amazing facilities continues, so there will be even more there to enjoy when I return!

Cara Creek Eco Lodge is the place to be because it is built in a beautiful valley which surrounds you in every way, sights, sounds and the smells of the trees. The river is an amazing oasis for swimming (and jumping into), relaxing in the warm sun on the sand or on the flat rocks that surround the creek. The hospitality offered by Ashely and Rory is so laid back and friendly, you feel like they have been your best friends for years. Bring a book or two, relax in a hammock, go for a hike, go paddle boarding, listen to the sounds of the creek, relax, be at ease, it feels like home.

I stayed for nearly a week at Cara Creek Eco Lodge and absolutely loved it. Ashley and Rory, the owners, are a sweet couple who tell great stories and have put so much hard work and heart into the property. It's got "pentapod" tents with super comfortable queen beds and a morning view of birds flying over the creek. Their dogs are adorable and the goats are always entertaining! Ashley took us on a paddleboard tour from their private river beach down the river and then guided us through an hour of yoga on the boards; it's a bit harder than it looks, but very fun. She's a great yoga instructor. I loved my stay here, and highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for something different and actually off the beaten path!

Cara Creek Eco Lodge is an absolutely beautiful place run by a lovely couple. I do regular yoga classes there and recently did my 200H Yoga Teacher Training as well, which was one of the best experience of my life, also due to it being completely immersed in nature. During my stay here, my specific dietary needs were catered to and the food was delicious! Their animals roam free on the property and they all have a wonderful nature and are an absolute pleasure to be around. The Penta-Pod was really cozy and the mattress was potentially the comfiest I have ever slept in! All in all I would 100% reccommend this place to anybody who is looking to do fun outdoor activities and reconnect with nature.

We stayed here as volunteers helping Ashley and Rory. The Eco Lodge was a great. Experience, not just for the work but the place itself, Right in the middle of nature you can find river or walks to chill in nature and connect to yourself as it's very quiet around. In a clear night u can gaze the stars and listen to the river. Definitely recommend staying in one of the the pods and relaxing by the natural pool, if you love nature this is a great place to stay.

Cara Creek Eco Lodge is a beautiful, tranquil place. It's this way because of the rural nature and more so because of the lovely, fun & kind owners Ashley & Rory. I have visited here frequently for yoga and fun days and seen the amazing accommodation's they have by the river and used the Eco inspired facilities... If you want a holistic mindful holiday then this is your place...

What beautiful experience. The lodge is a simple , sustainable experience as close to nature you can come. I left feeling so calm and recharged. Thank you Ashley for your warmth and engagement , really nice yoga and stand up paddeling session. I hope to return soon!

What an absolute natural gem tucked away in central Portugal. This eco lodge on the river Seia is a one of a kind experience with some absolutely fabulous hosts! Ashley is an avid yoga instructor and animal lover with a heart of gold and very easy going nature and Rory is a strong working true Irishman! They have both worked very hard to create this beautiful place and make it special for those who come to stay! The eco pool is something out of the garden of eden and it overlooks a beautiful river that flows through the property. The food and bar area is spot on and has such a cozy atmosphere to really sit and watch the natural beauty of Portugal while enjoying a delicious meal and cold beverage. I suggest this spot for anyone looking to lose themselves in nature and peace. All around fantastic place!

Had a really relaxing afternoon on the stand up paddle boards at Cara Creek yesterday. A beautiful and charming stretch of the river Mondego, great equipment and a handsome dog called Hank who accompanied us along the riverbank! Rory and Ashley went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we all loved it! Thank you.
