Very welcoming staff. The hotel is located opposite the marina giving excellent views. The rooms are well decorated and immaculately kept. A very pleasant experience.

Highly recommended. Excellent, modern, very clean B&B hotel. Delightful bedroom and ensuite. Lovely little roof top swimming pool and sun deck. Very good breakfast, delightful staff. Parking right beside the hotel at €1 per day. Superbly positioned for views of the Marina and access to restaurants and town centre.

Love this hotel. Stayed many times now.. it’s had a face lift since our last stay and they’ve done a great job!! All the staff are love, very helpful, make you very welcome... all lovely people.. breakfast is great too. Pool on the roof is lovely plenty of sun loungers and it has amazing views.. recommend this hotel 100% only problem with that it makes it harder to book as it’s so popular

Newly redecorated hotel centrally located in Lagos. Next to the bus station, and just across the bridge from the railway.
Very helpful staff, and nice rooms with balcony.
First hotel I've ever stayed with their whole room information leaflet in braille
At the top they have a grand terrace with views to the marina, and on the other side a swimming pool and sun loungers.

Ottimo hotel, ambiente moderno e molto pulito. Le camere, un po' piccole ma dotate di balcone, sono arredate in modo da offrire il massimo confort. La colazione viene servita in una sala non molto grande e, secondo me, si potrebbe fare di meglio!

Beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel. Lovely room and bathroom with extremely comfortable bed.
Hotel has lovely heated pool and roof terrace.
Reception area and bar lacking atmosphere - maybe some pictures/plants/music required.
Disappointing tea/coffee tray in room - tiny cups, no milk (only cream) and note saying 'don't ask for anymore sachets,this is all you are getting'!! Receptionist a bit frosty when we checked in but male receptionists very friendly and helpful

Wonderful hotel with courteous staff a generous breakfast and great location. Walk to bus station and train station and old town. Rooms even have scales fro health conscious trailers to monitor their eating regimen! Highly recommend this hotel.

Kamers zijn vernieuwd, doch vooral faciliteiten voor de oudere generatie. Vooraan prachtig zicht op de jachthaven, doch achteraan het gebouw bevindt zich een busparking. Weinig klantvriendelijke indruk met overal meldingen omtrent wat niet toegestaan is. Geen minibar voorzieningen. Ontbijt is veel te prijzig voor hetgeen er geserveerd wordt. Het zwembad op het dak, kan meer als een voetbad gebruikt worden. Zeker geen verdrinkingsgevaar ondanks de uitgebreide waarschuwingen;)

This hotel has made their clients’ comfort and needs their priority. From the robes, to slippers to vanity kits, things most hotels no longer offer these days. Location was excellent. Right by the bus and train stations and town center is just walkable. Lots of restaurants closeby as well as grocery stores. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the usual fare but included with the room we reserved. Really good value. A little dated but very clean and comfortable. Had a good view of the marina from the balcony. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel. Super modern, clean with the most helpful staff we've met. They even provided us with breakfast on the last day when we were leaving even though I was super early before breakfast hours. They have a small rooftop pool for swimming and sunning. beautiful view of the ocean. One negative is the busy street and noise at night but ok if the door is closed.

Great little hotel right next to the footbridge leading to the Marina and adjacent to the bus station.
Lovely staff and clean modern rooms with aircon. Small pool and sun lounging area on roof.
Can be noisy at weekends due to its proximity to the bars across the Marina.
⭐Good value considering its central location. Definitely recommended!

Gemütliches recht kleines Hotel garni. Sehr gutes Frühstück, täglich saubere Zimmer und sehr nettes freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Am Empfang haben uns Jorge, Miguel und Isabel klasse bedient. Die vierspurige Strasse vor der Tür stört nicht. Tags ist man unterwegs und nachts halten die geschlossenen Fenster den Lärm draußen und die Klimaanlage eine angenehme Temperatur innen.

Excellent hôtel ! Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de vacances d'été .
Très propre. Chambre assez grande (Nous avions réservé avec vue sur la marina ce qui est préférable ).
Personnel souriant et très sympathique.
Petit déjeuner copieux, viennoiserie fraîche, fruits et jus frais tous les jours.
idéalement situé. Proche gare, commerces, plage à 5mn â pieds.
De beaux paysages à découvrir.
Nous reviendrons !

Leuk schoon hotel, een goed ontbijt, aardig personeel maar voor een vier sterren hotel weinig te doen!!! Als je een kamer hebt die op de stad uitkijkt dan kijk je eigenlijk op de uit op de busremise en die bussen lopen 's ochtends al vroeg stationair te draaien!!! Toch jammer als je 135 euro per nacht betaald en je hebt dat uitzicht!!! Er is een zwembad maar als het al vroeg koud word door de wind dan is er verder weinig te doen!!! Een bar in een hoekje gedrukt en dat straalt niks uit erg jammer!!!

Situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of Lagos as well as a wonderful beach, and only 3 minutes from the Marina's restaurants and bars, this is a well positioned hotel. The staff are very welcoming and efficient. The comfortable bedrooms are well equipped, spotlessly clean and include a good balcony. Try to get one to the front which overlooks the marina. Air con is excellent. The breakfast buffet is good but laid out in a rather tight fit in the dining room. I'd highly recommend this hotel if visiting beautiful Lagos.

We had a wonderful vacation in Lagos while stayed in Hotel Marina Rio. The location is just walking distance to the train station , ferry and town center. Travelers take public transportation can simply reach the buses to Lisbon or places around this area just next to the hotel. The staffs here were so enthusiastic, they were willing to help us by giving some trip advises, and always with warm smiles on their face.
Our room had a view to the river, the scenery was so stunning!
We enjoyed the down time on the balcony eating snacks and chatting.

The front desk staff was super helpful. (We asked lots of questions!)The marina view room with balcony was really wonderful. They thought of everything - even had washcloths (aka flannels) and a scale in the bathroom. We only stayed for 2 nights, but it would be easy to stay here for a week!Breakfast was very good for the price too.

Bonito hotel situado en plena avenida marítima con vistas al puerto deportivo. El hotel es de nueva construcción y el personal es muy atento y amable. Las habitaciones eran luminosas y grandes con una bonita terraza, además tiene piscina en la azotea. Muy recomendable.

We experienced two people in the reception area a man and a woman. The woman should take classes from the man how to be a happy host. When someone ask you a question you do not ask for IDs unless you are some sort of official or police agent.Then you had the man that got out of his way to help us. The hotel is fine, close to every thing, great breakfast, great rooms, all knew, the receptionist makes a huge difference.

Great location, caught the train to Lagos and was a 5 min walk over the walking bridge to the hotel. 10 minute stroll into the main area where restaurants, shops and bara are located. 15 minute walk to two of the local beaches.
The room and facilities well maintained and clean. Spent some time each day up on the pool on the roof to relax.

O hotel é muito bem localizado em frente à Marina e há uns 10 minutos a pé do centro. Não tem estacionamento, mas pode-se parar em um estacionamento público ao lado por 3 euros o dia.
O hotel foi reformado recentemente (fev 19). Quartos bem decorados e confortáveis. Café da manhã ok e a piscina muito pequena, poderia ser melhor aproveitada se tivesse um bar .

Hôtel très propre, bien équipé et bien situé. Il faut prendre une chambre avec vue sur la marina cependant, sinon vous risquez de donner sur la gare d’autobus - ce qui est beaucoup moins glamour. Nous aurions pu y passer une bonne semaine sans difficulté.

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Das Frühstücksbuffet sah erst etwas klein aus, hat jedoch alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Ich würde sofort wieder buchen.

Le petit déjeuner était très bon avec beaucoup de choix.
Il y a quelques places gratuites devant l'hôtel pour se garer, sinon juste à côté il y à un parking à 3euros la journée.
L'hôtel est situé juste en face du port, très pratique pour pouvoir réserver une excursion vers les grottes.

The hotel is located near to the city centre. The staff was very friendly, they spoke English very well. The small but nice and quiet pool at the roof top was always a good refreshment. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.

I have put questionable because the more expensive rooms have a Marina view on a busy main road, and the cheaper ones at the back, are right next to a large, busy and smelly Bus Station and childrens play area!Not ideal- The Hotel thinks of everything, except a welcome bottle of water in the fridge! Something simple like this, puts the cherry on the top! You are warned that anything you order, you pay for!

Since we were travelling by train we choose this hotel due to its proximity to the train station. If you were travelling by bus, the station is right behind the hotel. It is also a short walk to the centre of the old town.
The hotel is not shiny new but this gave the place some character and charm. Our room was pretty standard for a mid-priced hotel. There was plenty of closet space, a safe, coffee maker, and bar fridge. Our room was in the back with a balcony facing the bus station.
Rate included breakfast which was very good. There was a changing selection of hot and cold items, lots of pastries, juices, cereals, cheese, and a espresso machine. Note that the breakfast room gets very busy.
I have no hesitation staying here again or recommending it to anyone. This wasn't the most expensive nor the cheapest accommodations that we stayed at and it included breakfast. Front desk and dining room staff were friendly and professional.

Great hotel with wonderful staff. Warm welcoming and efficient on arrival. Helpful and friendly throughout our short stay. Parking out front or a 15 sec walk away. Clean bright rooms. I recommend a Marina view. Small pool and sun lounge area on the roof which is very pleasant. Hope to return soon.

Fussläufig in die Altstadt mit einem öffentlichem Parkplatz neben an. Pool und Sonnenterasse auf dem Dach. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Très bien accueillis, le personnel de lhôtel est vraiment aux petits soins des clients et à su répondre avec gentillesse à toutes nos demandes. Merci à Isabel pour son aide quand nous avons dû trouver un dentiste. Le ménage dans la chambre était toujours impeccable et nous ne manquions de rien. Le petit déjeuner est très bon avec pain et fruits frais, viennoiseries, buffet salé ..seul le café à la machine nétait pas très bon et trop sucré à mon goût. Lhôtel est très bien placé mais mieux vaut prendre face à Marina car de lautre côté vue sur les bus est moins agréable. La météo nayant pas été très bonne, la seule chose qui nous a manqué dans lhôtel est une salle de sport et une piscine intérieure. ..Je recommande cet hôtel.

Very easy walk from the train station. Bus station is behind the hotel. Easy walk to local sites, restaurants, etc. Very accommodating staff who opened up for breakfast early so that we could make a very early morning train. Nice room. Small bar in lobby.

The location of this hotel is everything about it. It's a 5-10 minute walk to interesting food, drinks, and attractions. Unfortunately the rooms are old, and half have a terrible view of a noisy, smokey bus station, while the other half get a great view of the water and marina. Be prepared to fight for breakfast space in the morning, but it's certainly better than nothing. The staff were wonderfully polite and helpful when we needed them though. Overall great value and I'd stay here again.

The hotel is situated in a good location to everything in old town. The staff are very friendly and more than willing to make your stay wonderful. The hotel is a five minute walk away from the Lagos train station, across a street from the marina. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious. Bed and shower werent the best. Overall a good choice for Lagos. Room had a balcony to sit out on!

Leider lag unser Zimmer direkt am Treppenaufgang und Fahrstuhl nach hinten raus. Somit kamen wir in den Genuss jeden Gast zu hören, der auf der 2. Etage wohnte. Jeden Schritt, jedes Wort, jeden Streit und auch das Erbrechen anch überhöhtem Alkoholkonsum drei Zimmer weiter konnte man nachts um zwei Uhr live mit erleben...Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten heraus, mit Blick und Geräuschkulisse auf den Busbahnhof. Sehr schön. Ein Bus hatte seinen Motor immer im Stand laufen - zwischen 6 Uhr und 22 UhrDas Zimmer an sich war schön groß,m aber etwas altbacken. Die Wasserhähne ebenso älter und undicht, besonders der Umstellhebel von Duschbrause auf Wasserhahn.Frühstück war abwechlungsreich und vielfältig. Da sollte jeder was finden.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage. Direkt gegenüber vom Hafen an der Promenade gelegen. Fünf Minuten Fußweg ins Zentrum von Lagos. Parkplatz direkt neben dem Hotel, in der Nebensaison für 4 Euro / Woche (!). Im Zimmer gab es keine zentrale Deckenlampe und keineSchubladen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Der Fernseher war recht klein. Beheizter Pool auf dem Dach, sowie Sonnenterrasse mit Blick auf den Hafen. Frühstück war okay. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Lagos wieder wählen.

En general un buen hotel, salvo por quizás los ruidos, la vista villa tiene una estación de autobuses y la de la Marina una avenida. La insonorización de las ventanas es pobre y se oyen pasar lo coches incluso con las ventanas cerradas
