Es gibt keine Poolbar, die Zimmerausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Lunchbar kaum besucht und die Terrasse sehr dreckig...insgesamt ist das Hotel für Paare nicht zu empfehlen, es sind viele Familien hier, sodass es entsprechend sehr laut ist.

Alles gut, wir kommen gerne wieder.Nach Möglichkeit jedoch mit Zimmer Richtung Meer. Die Strasse vor der Anlage ist wegen des Kopfsteinpflasters doch recht laut. In Summe liegt die Anlage jedoch herrlich ruhig.

Excellent hotel very clean, good spread for buffet breakfast, spacious rooms and beautiful views depending on what room you select. Just minutes walk to the beach, has at least 4 swimming pools and a good selection of drinks at the bar. Staff are very attentive and they did give a 5 star service except one who was quite rude but maybe it was because of how busy it was at the time apart from that 5/5

Las habitaciones son una pasada muy amplias, nosotros íbamos con niños y las estancias salón y dormitorio son muy espaciosas, limpieza genialLo que menos, había pocas actividades para niños porque no había empezado el Kids club hasta el domingo.En general muy bien, unas mini vacaciones para desconectar.

Love this 5 star hotel, the view from our room was breathtaking. The staff were all super friendly and eager to help. I cannot fault anything with this hotel. I will definitely go there again. The food was also delicious, not entirely Portuguese, but I guess as with most hotels they have to cater to tourist tastes.

The hotel/ resort itself is not bad. It’s nicely located with easy access to the beach and has six pools. But Watch out if you are not traveling as a family. This hotel is like a kids paradise. We are a young couple with no kid and it’s Not really enjoyable when you have noisy kids screaming everywhere. We were also unlucky as there is a door in the wall between the room next door and ours and we could hear everything .

Absolutely amazing place. Beautiful views. Spacious rooms with gorgeous modern design. Number of pools with different depths for adults and kids. Unlimited pool towels for guests. Loved it!

5 stelle sulla carta, in quanto mancava la cassaforte in camera, la stanza non era il massimo della pulizia, c'erano moscerini morti sotto la tenda e in bagno. I servizi tutti a pagamento. Abbiamo richiesto la sveglia alle 5.45, ma se non usavo quella del cellulare avrei perso l'aereo...

Stayed in a room over looking the sea. Nice clean room. Lovely big balcony. Easy access to beach. Nice walk to the beach and lovely sand.
House keeping wasn’t great. when cleaned we were left with towels on rail rather than folded towels which made it look like used towels. Didn’t get top ups of items used like shower cap.
No heated pools so if you want to go for a swim it’s too cold out of season (we visited may2019).
Supermarket 5 minutes away. Easy to walk to. Lovely pizza/pasta restaurant around 10 minutes walk away.
Breakfast at hotel was fine. Basic - scrambled/fried eggs, beans, selection of breads etc. yoghurts, pastries and cakes. Tea and coffee.
Buffet not great but fine with kids.
Bar food was good. Enjoyed the Shrimp sandwich.

Para 5# deixa um pouco a desejar. Falta WC nas piscinas, almofadas de penas em que a cabeça se afunda, importunando o descanso e, mais grave, não tem almofadas que sejam alternativas. O quarto não tem um sistema eficiente de protecção da luz, o que significa que a partir das 6 manhã não se consegue descansar. Irritante sistema das cruzetas. Localização e implantação do hotel fantásticas. Simpatia e juventude dos funcionários. Praia maravilhosa.

Near to the beach and convenient to the foods and supermarkets. This is not 5 stars hotel, not able to check in to the hotel as stated for 4pm. I am able to check in to the hotel after 4.30pm after few arguement with the hotel staff and manager level only could check in to the hotel at 4.30pm. The manager told me the policy check in time is after 4pm but no guarantee will be able to check in. If the cleaner is not able to clean the room then you will not able to check and no specific time,ie. Say 10pm or 11pm to check in and depend on the completion time. How can you said this to your customer? The reason is hotel was fully booked but I have check the ebooker website and still able to booked this hotel and much cheaper at last minute. What do you mean fully booked? Not recommend any family to stay in this hotel. The toilet are full of ants running around. The service like motel not hotel.

Absolutely brilliant. Staff were magnificent and very friendly. Food excellent and views to die for. Sent a complimentary bottle of bubbly and desert when they realised it was our birthdays.

Bom hotel, pequeno almoço bom e variado. Excelente localização. Restaurantes com boa comida.
Lamentável que a piscina interior (única aquecida e utilizável fora da época alta) está interdita a menores de 16 anos. Na minha opinião, não faz sentido algum excluir as crianças de utilizar a piscina interior, quando muito poderiam interditar a sua utilização em certos horários permitindo noutros. Num hotel que é children-frendly não faz qualquer sentido este tipo de atitude.
Já estive em outros hotéis do mesmo grupo e também tem esta política de interdição às crianças.
Tenho dois filhos que adoram usar a piscina, numa próxima vez que tenha de escolher um hotel, o facto de não poder usar a piscina juntamente com os meus filhos será concerteza um motivo para não escolher o hotel.

This hotel is home away from home, but even better, with the spacious 3 bedroom all ensuite, my family totally loves it. Breakfast was amazing with a wide selection and abundant sparkling wine and cakes made it even better. The view from the room is great. I highly recommended this hotel.

Excellent place to visit, hotel is amazing and clean, service is great. Golf course is excellent and greens are fast and pure. The wind was very strong all week, 30mph so made the golf course super tough and i play off 2.

Cet hôtel ne correspond pas à un 5 étoiles.
Pas de support pour le papier toilette. Pas de paterel pour les peignoir. Pas de tablette pour les trousses de toilette.
Une seule table de nuit. Un seul éclairage pour la lecture dans le lit.
Hôtel très mal insonorise.
En demi pension les repas sont les mêmes pendant une semaine.
Le personnel est très sympa. Le cadre est beau et bien entretenu.
Mérite d'être amélioré pour obtenir 5 étoiles

Bel hôtel relativement neuf. De beaux espaces extérieurs et belles piscine. Réception plutôt petite pour un 5* le petit déjeuner et très moyen et le restaurant est à fuir tout est congelé horrible même mon dessert était encore gelé lorsqu’il me l on servi à table. Inadmissible pour les prix pratiqués.

Would have give more stars, but the "spa"...
God forget it... Don't go there... We took a duo massage, it was terrible. We asked for 1 soft massage and 1 more hard. The mixed up, but we only realized after, nobody enjoyed it. For her it was too soft, for me it was way too hard... They don't even asked what are your preference. One of our massage therapist never came to say present her self. We barely saw her. She entered the room, gave the massage and ran away. During our massage the personnel start passing the mower
We could hear it really well like if it was next to us. The hot tube has room for maybe 5 persons and it's not that hot, everything were still under construction. Don't try to find a normal water circuit, it's impossible.
You have the obligation to wear a bathing cap, never saw that before...
I did a lot of different places for massage, this one was by far the worst experience ever.

The location of this hotel is perfect for relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The room was vey clean and pleasant. All the amenities were first class. The breakfast very nice with all kinds of choices. Highly recommend.

Good service - staff always very helpful and courteous. Very spacious suites and in good condition. Hotel decor very nice and well maintained. Close to the beach - about 5 mins walk through private pathways. Lots of outdoor swimming pools to choose from. Really enjoyed our stay with family. WiFi in rooms is a bit flaky - but we managed to get most of our browsing and photo sharing done without too much of an issue.

Alles sehr gut. Hotel etwas abseits am Strand, aber perfekt wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist. Einziger Mangel sind die etwas zu harten Bettmatratzen.

Estava a iniciar os meus comentários, quando, após ter colocado o dedo sobre a quarta estrela, tive um "apagão" causado provavelmente por algo que me entrou no telemóvel. Entretanto até já me foram agradecidos os comentários (pelo hotel).
Tudo poderia ficar por aqui, mas na realidade, pela minha postura devo acrescentar:
Fiz a reserva pelo telefone, marcando duas noites, na sequência de uma viagem de regresso a Portugal. Sendo um Hotel de 5 *, nem me dei ao trabalho de pormenores ou tentar ver imagens do quarto, etc., enfim, como habitualmente se faz. Foi com surpresa que ouvi o valor do preço a pagar (achei barato para 5*) mas pensei tratar-se de alguma política ocasional por parte do hotel. Nem mesmo estranhei que me fosse solicitado o pagamento adiantado... (Afinal, mais uma vez há razão para o ditado sobre quem assim paga)
Cheguei ao hotel, o checkin foi rápido e eficaz. Todavia, quando nos debruçámos sobre o que nos explicaram percebemos que algo estava mal. E começámos as perguntas:
-- Então para ir ao Spa, temos de atravessar a rua (que é uma estrada, com movimentos de viaturas)? E vamos de roupão pela rua?
Resposta:
-- Sim, claro, mas o Spa tem vestiário!
-- Mas isso obriga a certo desconforto... ( ficou sem resposta)
Depois verificámos que tudo gira à volta do tal edifício central e que afinal temos de sair do nosso bloco para a rua, para irmos tomar qualquer refeição, etc.
O quarto que nos destinaram NÃO É DIGNO de 5 estrelas. É tão pequeno, que os dois maples existentes, não têm melhor ou mais útil forma de os pôr. Estão colocados com uma mesa entre eles e as costas contra a parede onde está dependurada a TV... aos pés da cama. Portanto, ou se vê a televisão a partir da cama (sentados ou deitados) ou não há melhor. A propósito, a TV não funcionava e tinha (tem) uns fios caídos -- parece que para suportar um aparelhómetro sensível ao comando. Teve que ser chamado o "técnico", que concluiu ser defeito do comando.
O suporte do duche estava partido (à chegada) e assim continua, sendo necessário agarrá-lo e mantê-lo agarrado para tomar banho. Quem trata dos quartos nem deu por isso?
Mas o local é soberbo, as piscinas lindas e bem tratadadas, a praia é já ali e a paisagem idílica com um pôr do sol maravilhoso. Será isso que faz valer a 5a estrela?

Sehr schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt. Empfang und Service freundlich, zuvorkommend und professionell. Hervorragende Küche (Buffet morgens und abends). Mehrere Schwimmbäder und Sandstrand etwa 5 Gehminuten vom Hotelkomplex entfernt. Zimmereinrichtung entspricht leider nicht vollumfänglich einem Hotel der gehobenen Preisklasse; Bad klein und dürftig eingerichtet. Sehr eng für eine Unterkunft, gedacht für zwei oder drei Personen. Geräuschvolumen (Nebenzimmer mit anderen Gästen) gross.

Was good but could offer more for a 5*. I would come back its in a great location. The staff was nice. The food was amazing. The massage at the spa was nice. The room was big but seemed a little empty need more activities for non golfers. Too many cards for different things. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Excellent place to relax, enjoy 6 outdoor pools and have an easy access to a wide and very long sand beach with many options of sport activities. Hotel staff is very friendly, although sometimes not professional, which is good. The suites are generous in size and finally breakfast and meals are over average.

Très bel hôtel, propre et confortable. Mention spéciale pour la literie. Chambre spacieuse, très belle vue du dernier étage. Séjour de 6 nuits, petit déjeuner inclus, sous forme de buffet bien garnie. Très belles piscines, accès à la plage agréable avec des pontons pour préserver et se fondre dans la nature.

Für ein 5-Sterne Hotel wirklich enttäuschend. Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber und wurden auch nicht sauber gehalten. Wenn man mal etwas weniger Trinkgeld hingelegt hätte, wurde dementsprechend noch weniger geputzt. Die Fernbedienung und das Telefon sahen aus wie Sau, in der Dusche war schimmel, auf dem Balkon wurde gar nicht sauber gemacht etc... so genau konnte man es tatsächlich gar nicht sehen weil es soo dunkel war, dass man den TV einschalten musste, um überhaupt etwas zu sehen.
die Auswahl des Essens war mangelhaft und das Essen unverträglich. Frühstück war ok, Abends ging es dann zum Kids Buffet- Hauptsache satt. Für eine Flascher Wasser zum Essen hat man dann 4 Euro bezahlt.
Das Personal war unfreundlich...wir haben genau 1× erlebt, dass wir vom Personal gegrüsst wurden... manche schauen einen nicht mal an sagen kein Wort, selbst wenn man als Gast den "Ersten Schritt" macht.
Ganze Anlage wirkt wie ein Hoteldorf... alles abgeriegelt und man bekommt so schöne Bändchen ans Handgelenk, die nicht angenommen werden können.
Die Pools waren ok... es war aber auch nicht soo viel los (Anfang September).
Zum Strand war es schon recht weitläufig.
Das Land ist wirklich sehenswert aber das Hotel war sein Geld absolut nicht wert. Da war jedes 3-4 Sterne Hotel auf Mallorca oder Kroatien deutlich sauberer, die Menschen freundlicher und das Essen leckerer.

Having travelled across the globe and visited many countries, this resort is one of the worst I have ever been to. There are kids shouting and playing around in the corridor as early as 6am in the morning. Sometimes even their ‘educated’ parents are playing around with them very early in the morning, teaching nothing but ignorance and selfishness to their children, what a great example. Baby crying can be heard throughout the night. The facility and the rooms are old with bad soundproof insulation . I’m honest opinion, this hotel looks more like a 4 star rather than 5, don’t waste your money and With many other reasons hence 1 star is awarded to this resort.

O Hotel Dunas Salgados, foi simplesmente uma desilusão para a minha família, pois a decoração dos quartos era como uma decoração de um hospital, de seguida não se esqueçam de ir à piscina, por acaso podem ser esquecer pois a piscina não tem asseco às crianças, elas (crianças) somente podem se contentar com o Kids club.

Pior hotel de sempre!
Fomos durante a Páscoa 2018, um casal e 2 filhos com 12 anos.
Digo pior porque para mim não há nada mais ofensivo do que nos venderem um hotel de luxo e parecer um lar ( sem ofensa!)
Tem um spa que não pudemos utilizar só se pagássemos! O que foi muito chato porque a piscina exterior estava em mau estado e o tempo não ajudou para banhos na praia...
O hotel estava em obras!? Como é que abrem em obras?
Os quartos eram desconfortáveis o sofá onde os meninos dormiram esteve sempre aberto e por isso para estarmos em família tínhamos de estar sentados numa mesa ridícula de jantar. O quarto era feio a decoração pior que hospital/ lar! Chão em tijoleira? Quase um wc gigante!!
O elevador avariado?
O parque subterrâneo parecia de filme de terror, cheio de plásticos e restos de obras!
A comida- uma anedota!
Fiz uma reclamação e responderam com desculpas um quase não gostas, não voltes!!
Nunca mais quero voltar! Foi mesmo mau!

Si vous voulez vous reposer, c'est parfait, mer et piscines juste a côté
Pour louer les appartements, il y a plusieurs possibilités, soit par agences, soit par particuliers
Même si les appartements ont la même configuration, et je pense les mêmes meubles, ils ne proposent pas les mêmes prestations
Ce que je regrette c'est que lorsque nous arrivons, les placards sont vides, pas un grain de sel ou de poivre, un rouleau de papier toilette par WC, pas de liquide vaisselle ni d'éponge et aucune instruction pour faire marcher le lave linge ( on dit que c'est inné lorsqu'on est une femme, mais quand même ) que 4 verres et autant de fourchettes et de couteaux
Il faut donc tout acheter et nettoyer au fur et a mesure
Mais en conclusion, malgré tout, le séjour s'est très bien déroulé et on y reviendra avec plaisir

Boas instalações, modernas, e bem decoradas. Cozinha equipada o suficiente, incluindo máquina de lavar loiça. As piscinas são muito agradáveis, resguardadas de vento e é fácil encontrar lugar.
Peca pelo desrespeito pelas regras do hotel, e pouco controlo (andar de bicicleta na zona das piscinas por exemplo).
Faltam nadadores salvadores.

Excelente Resort, 15 piscinas limpias y entorno verde muy bien cuidado, acceso directo a la playa por un puente peatonal, suite grande pero con baño extremadamente pequeño, limpieza de la habitación muy mejorable lo hacen muy por encima, especialmente el baño que tiene bastante roña en los rincones y los cristales muy sucios notándose que se limpian con poca frecuencia, el bar para picar algo está bien y todo bueno aunque tardan bastante en tomarte nota y servirte, pero el bufete para comidas es lo más malo que he probado en mi vida, para ser un hotel de 5 estrellas esto deberían de cuidarlo mucho más o directamente quitarlo, aconsejable no comer en el bufete del hotel , restaurantes alrededor del hotel pero algo caros y se necesita coche para moverte, las camas cómodas pero la supletoria si van 3 personas es mejor tirar el colchón al suelo, esto para un hotel de 5 estrellas que se está pagando es muy muy decepcionante.

Quanto às instalações a única queixa a apresentar é o facto dos quartos apresentarem muitos mosquitos (por nos encontrarmos perto do mar), devem arranjar solução para evitar - comprei inseticida sem odor que resultou tendo colocado apenas na primeira noite visto que nas outras todos os mosquitos morriam.
Quanto à comida 5*.

Top top top! segundo ano consecutivo aqui e não podia estar mais contente. Quartos espaçosos, confortáveis e bem decorados. atendimento super simpático, amável e preocupado. Jardins e piscinas lindas, com zonas tranquilas e zonas mais movimentadas (o meu filho prefere ), a 5 mim a pé da praia. Pequeno almoço a condizer e muito bom bar para beber qualquer coisa ao fim da tarde! Óptimo sushi a 50m da recepção, faz parte do resort! Volto no próximo ano!

É a segunda vez que estou neste hotel e de uma forma geral considero o mesmo razoável em termos de qualidade versus preço. No entanto, comparativamente à minha primeira estadia verifico a existência de pequenas falhas, que na minha opinião pessoal, não são aceitáveis para um hotel de 5 estrelas, das quais destaco:
1. Restaurante: toalha de mesa com um “buraco” de 4 cm;
2. Na zona do bar parte das janelas estão sempre abertas para a esplanada exterior, o que não permite uma temperatura mais fresca/agradável para quem esteja no interior;
3. Zona de jogos/mesa de snooker: por incrível que parece esta zona tinha apenas um taco de snooker disponível e o ar condicionado está avariado há bastante tempo. Já reclamei duas vezes, mas pela expressão do funcionário acho que vai continuar na mesma....
Destaco pela positiva o kids club onde é possível constatar a dedicação e o empenho dos monitores.

Fühlten uns als Familie mit 2 Kinder nicht in einem 5 Sterne Hotel!
Dafür war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zu schlecht.
Der Anfang: 2 Familienzimmer reserviert, aber 1 Zimmer war im Gebäude 1 und das andere im Gebäude 6 am anderen Ende der Anlage. Somit waren die gemeinsamen Ferien schon ein wenig komplizierter....
Folgendes war gut: Das Frühstück (obwohl einem der Teller vor der Nase weggeräumt wurde obwohl man noch nicht ganz fertig war mit dem Essen, die gepflegte Anlage (darauf komme ich später zurück), die Tiefgarage für das Auto, der Mitarbeiter Duarte (Page), der Strand und die Aussicht.
Nun die zu negativen Punkte:
Der Kids Club mit der Rutschbahn war ein Witz da die Rutschbahn jeweils am Morgen und am Nachmittag für 1 Stunde aufgeblasen wurde und danach wieder weggeräumt.
Die Musik war auch jeweils nach 1-2 Stunden wieder weg.
Alles wurde einfach ohne Kommentar oder Kommunikation weggeräumt. Die Animation ist eine Katastrophe da man als Gast auf die Leute zugehen muss und nicht umgekehrt. Es scheint als hätten die keine Freude an der Arbeit!
An den Nachmittagen, wenn sich die Gäste an den Pools ein bisschen ausruhen wollten, wurde in unmittelbarer Nähe der Rasen und die Olivenbäume mit Maschinen geschnitten. Absolut kein Feingefühl! Die Mitarbeiter an der Bar waren jeweils überfordert. Die Zimmer waren schön aber keine 5 Sterne wert. Beleuchtungskonzept sehr schlecht.
Als ich einen Techniker ins Zimmer wegen dem Fernseher bestellt habe, kam der erst am nächsten Tag obwohl mir versichert wurde, dass jemand später vorbeikommen würde.
Als ich dann an der Reçeption deswegen reklamierte, wurde mir unterstellt, dass ich unfähig war eine Fernbedienung zu bedienen!
Obwohl es sich dann herausstellte, dass ein Kabel nicht richtig eingesteckt wurde von der Technik!! Leider ist dieses Hotel nicht empfehlenswert. Zu teuer für das was geboten wird! Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht freundlich und wir hatten das Gefühl bekommen, dass wir eher stören als dass wir Willkommen wären.
Schade, sehr schade für Portugal!!

Schönes Hotel, jedoch eher ein 4-Sterne Hotel als ein 5. Wir haben ein Upgrade auf eine Jjnior Suite gekauft, da unser gebuchtes Zimmer keine Aussicht hatte (Hang direkt vor Sitzplatz) und es neben dem Lift laut war. Allgemein würden wir das Hotel eher Familien empfehlen als Paaren, da es sehr auf Kinder ausgerichtet ist.

Just back from 8 nights 2 adults and 2 kids aged 8 and 6. Hotel feels luxury and deserves 5 stars for the following reasons: front desk team exceptional welcome and friendliness throughout our stay including valet parking team and towels team. Everyone was truly 5 star! The hotel and grounds are contemporary and beautiful all 9 pools have been completely rebuilt from scratch this year so now there are 8 pools as there’s now one larger main pool with a nice shallow long ramp into it for easy access for young kids. The reception,bar area, grounds even toilets are all luxurious with quick glass lifts in the main block (1). There are about 5 blocks all beside each other. Swipe access to beautiful boardwalk to the beach. It’s a quiet area great for families pools and sunbeds never crowded. So overall excellent and close to 5 star certainly staff and hotel itself is 5 star. Breakfast buffet is very good never too crowded plenty of options. Only downside to this hotel is the dinner buffet it’s very expensive (very!) and the food is average for the price ... so you may want to eat out. There are limited options as it’s a secluded area but if you have a car no issue (we had one) and drove 5 mins to Guia or 10 mins to Albufeira beautiful old town lots of choice. There is also a ten star (no joke) Italian restaurant called bellavita near the hotel it’s amazing but not many other options in my opinion. Also the rooms were cleaned to perfection and are huge!! Overall excellent

Gutes Hotel, irgendwo zwischen 4 und 5 Sternen. Die Anlage ist super gepflegt und gelegen. Über einen Steg (5min) kommt man zu einem superschönen und sauberen Strand.
Unsere Junior Suite war geräumig, und etwas kahl eingerichtet. Wie schon mehrfach geschrieben fehlen Haken, bzw eine kleine Garderobe.
Die Pools sind sauber und wir waren angenehm überrascht, das man eigentlich immer einen Platz findet.
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, die "warmen" Speisen leider etwas kalt.
Unverhältnismäßig hoch sind die Preise für Mittag und Abendessen im Buffetrestaurant. 25€-35€ pro Person ohne Getränke. Da wird man anderswo bedient, hat eine ruhigere Atmosphäre und im Zweifel besser gegessen.
Preise natürlich ohne Getränke die auch extrem teuer sind.
Und der Knaller ist, dass Kinder ab 3 Jahren die Hälfte zahlen. Was soll eine 3 Jährige für 17,50€ essen, das irgendwie diesen Preis rechtfertigen würde?
Die Bar bietet a la Carte an. Die Hamburger und den Salat den wir hatten, waren sehr lecker. Das Personal nett aber leider überfordert und langsam. Ab dem zweiten Tag hatten wir verstanden warum die meisten Gäste ihre Sachen direkt an der Bar holen und dort auch bestellen...
Insgesamt trotzdem eine schöner Urlaub, auch wenn wir es aufgrund des schlechten Preis-Leistung-Verhältnisses (vorallem bei Essen und Trinken) vermutlich nicht weiter empfehlen würden.

Das Essen war nicht den Sternen entsprechend. Hier gibt es höchsten -nichts. Auch am Morgen um 0700 kein Kaffee im Restaurant. Wir wurden hingewiesen den Raum wieder zu verlassen und eine halbe Stunde zu warten. Was ist den das für ein Service?

Das gesamte Areal voller betrunkener und schreiender Inselaffen - bis spät in die Nacht! Bei optimalen Verhältnissen kann man auch noch hören wie sie sich lautstark 3 Zimmer weiter versuchen, zu vermehren. Anscheinend sind die Zwischenwände aus Karton. Die Ausstattung der Suiten ist mehr als mager. Der Service ist ebenfalls zu vergessen...

Visitei o local de acesso à praia. Não visitei qualquer unidade hoteleira. Contudo, não fiquei muito entusiasmada, dado que a praia fica um pouco distante e apesar de ter uma água muito translucida em tons esmeralda, deixou-me sem entusiasmo porque o local se resume praticamente que ao resort composto por diversos edificios.

I liked the hotel itself, in particular the large rooms. Although we didn’t need pool facilities due to cooler weather (late October) they really lacked them. There are no bars beside the pool so you have to travel back to main reception. We got a bottle of water on our arrival, I would have appreciated this everyday. We had a car and the parking facilities are great. We didn’t pay for a pool view room but I would recommend it-otherwise you are facing a road. Wish we had opted for this as it would have been nicer on the cooler days. In Late October weather was cloudy, overcast but warm. Guess that’s the gamble.....

Salgados Dunas Suites is the ideal location to explore the Algarve by car. The property is newer and very well maintained. Rooms are spotless clean and the breakfast is excellent - both in terms of selection and quality. Public transportation is limited, but those arriving by car have access to convenient basement carparking, which is free of charge. We look forward to be back.

O apartamento que utilizei era extremamente amplo, estava em boas condições e apresentava uma boa limpeza. Estive pouco tempo alojado de forma que não encontrei qualquer problema.
O apartamento dá acesso a umas piscinas que se encontram na traseira deste, para quando não apatece ir à praia, ou se gosta mais de piscina.

O buffet é muito bom, com muita variedade, qualidade, staff eficiente, uma vista agradável. Fica junto ao mar, pelo que em três minutos se chega á praia. O spa é pequeno mas bom, principalmente nos dias frios de inverno, o meu dia favorito para ir a este local é aos domigos, em que fazem programas com preços especiais. É um local muito agradável e que ainda contará com a minha visita por diversas vezes.

The hotel should say it is very family focused with many children and activities that might not be as relaxing for everyone. Our room was fine but the shower has a bad leak so it was a swamp anytime we used it. The hallway outside the room echoes terribly so when other guests get up early or late you hear everything. The pools are nice and the grounds are lovely. Location is the top.

Gostei muito, achei que a localização do espaço era ideal para os meus objetivos em família. Embora tenho adorado as piscinas fiquei num quarto mesmo ao pé das bombas das piscinas não conseguia dormir a noite durante dois dias, mas falei com o gerente e alguns funcionários da recepção e mudaram-me para um quarto ótimo com vista para para o mar e as piscina. El hotel está muy bien pero no es un 5 estrellas. Hay muchas cosas que no atienden, desde la limpieza y recogida diaria de la habitación, el agua de cortesía, el café de cortesía. La habitación junior suite es gigante pero un baño pequeñísimo ; incómodo para una familia con dos peques. Las hamacas de la piscina la mitad están rotas y la piscina siempre llena de arena. No la limpian a menudo. Ponen un tobogán hinchable para niños solo 2 horas al dia! Una de mañana y otra de tarde. Como no llegues... ni lo prueban! Sobre la gente, da igual los que van a un hotel de 3 estrellas que de 5 estrellas, se comportan con poca educación. La gente reserva las hamacas desde muy pronto. Aunque luego se vayan a la playa. Así pasa, que cuando vienes de la playa después de comer... no hay quien se siente en la zona de la piscina. El buffet de la cena caro y muy normal. Insisto que no me parece una categoría 5 estrellas.

Personal im Restaurant sehr sehr nett. An der Rezeption junge hippe Leute, die manchmal unprofessionell reagieren (der eine reinigt seine Fingernägel mit der Büroschere an der Rezeption, die andere antwortet, wenn man seit 5 Minuten kein heisses Wasser aus der Dusche bekommt, man solle halt warten, irgendwann würde der Boiler wieder voll sein). Ausstattung des Hotels ist auf 3-Sterne Niveau. Zudem ist es ein hässlicher extrem hellhöriger Betonklotz, in dem es fast nur Zimmer mit Durchgangstüren gibt. Man hört alles aus dem Nebenzimmer, wenn Leute leisen reden, der Wasserhahn, jeden Schritt, und wenn es etwas lauter wird, bebt alles. Vom Gang hört man alles, alles aus Beton, hallt überall. Im August fast nur portugiesische Gäste, sehr angenehme Menschen, aber gehen spät ins Bett. Da man alles hört, muss man sich in der Hochsaison diesem Rhythmus anpassen. Die meisten Gebäude liegen direkt an einer Strasse, kein Zaun, keine Mauer, die meisten Gebäude sind wie ein Motel gebaut, ein offener sehr schlecht beleuchteter Eingang, jeder kann direkt von der Strasse an die Zimmertür kommen. Essen im Restaurant ok, aber auch da, kein 5-Sterne-Niveau.Einziger Pluspunkt: wunderschöner Strand praia dos Salgaodos direkt davor.Dieses Hotel ist am internationalen Standard gemessen höchstens ein 3-Sterne Hotel, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis eine Katastrophe.Und als frequent traveller habe ich noch nie ein so hellhöriges Hotel erlebt.

Tudo espetacular, quem levar crianças tem um espaço adequado e cheio de atividades para eles que adoram, a localização é fantástico assim como as piscinas, pequeno-almoço fantástico, peca pela falta de manutenção, o portão da garagem avariou quando cheguei e assim permaneceu durante 4dias e nem sempre tive lugar de garagem!! A torneira da cozinha completamente estava desapertada!!
Mas de resto adorei a a estadia espero voltar e que melhorem a manutenção do espaço que é fantástico.

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with a welcoming drink of refreshing cold lime ice blended. Check in was smooth. friendly staff. loved the deco of the Front Desk with its lively and vibrant colours.
We were there with our kids and they just went nuts about the whole "Shrek" (??) / kids club manikin. they didn’t wanna go sightseeing, so we just "chillax" in the hotel!
The room was a family room. the layout of the rooms, bathrooms, furnishings and balconies are good and stylish. Amenities are ok although I’d prefer nice scented toiletries. The beds and pillows were very comfy.
There were 6 pools in total, two for the little ones.
Great view from there towards the dune and ocean.
The lounge area next to the lobby was cozy and had an amazing woden terrace. Top drinks.
What really made the difference about this hotel is the unique landscape architecture. Although the Hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowed. Overall: Well done.

Hotel magnifique ! Très grand, très propre, avec de nombreuses piscines dont 2 pataugeoires, toutes très bien entretenues.La plage est accessible par une passerelle sécurisée en quelques minutes. Plage magnifique également !Le personnel est très serviable et sympathique.Nous avons séjourné avec notre fils de 2 ans qui a adoré cet endroit.Nous espérons y revenir ! Nous avons passé dexcellentes vacances.

Really nice resort with super friendly staff. There was three different pool areas and nice activities during the day. Like water polo and bird show.
Restaurant served buffet dinner which was really good. Also breakfast was superb. Here is some pictures of lunch and drinks.
Under our balcony there was bar terrace and there was band playing every evening. They stopped playing like 22.30. That was a little minus. Our room was with sea view on the main building.
Be aware with your room bill bacause someone put one lunch on our room and we almost did not noticed that when checked out.

Kids club merece uma mençao pelo trabalho fantastico de entertenimento aos mais pequenos e à animaçao nos espaços externos.

A melhorar: 2 lavatórios por casa de banho seria excelente, o facto de ter ficado num quarto com uma porta que dá acesso direto a outro quarto retirou um pouco de privacidade.

Super Zimmer. Leider etwas hellhörig (Musikband spielte abends live). Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Gartenseite. Das Essen war nicht gut. Buffetauswahl recht überschaubar. Desserts (Waffeln und Crêpes) waren alt und trocken. Nudeln mit Sauce waren nicht essbar. Würde diese Unterkunft nur ohne Verpflegung empfehlen.

Fuimos para celebrar el cumpleaños de dos peques de la familia. Nos alojamos en la suite de tres dormitorios, la cual recomiendo para familias. La habitación es enorme con un conseguido estilo años cincuenta y vistas al mar. El hotel está a pie de una playa limpia y extensa. Por ponerle una pega simplemente decir que no había menaje en la cocina. Suerte que yo llevaba mi cesta de picnic vintage. A la mañana siguiente tuvieron el detalle de colocar una tarta para la pequeña que cumplía años ese día.

Fabulous hotel, we stayed in a 3 bedroom suite all rooms ensuite, huge and spotless, kitchenette in the suite but not equipped, has a big fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine but charge €2 per capsule bring your own. Pools are immaculate, staff are very pleasant, housekeeping is excellent, excellent kids club best we've ever used staff in the club are amazing, ideal hotel for young families and couples, not for teenagers not a lot to do. Breakfast has everything you would want. Bar food is very good and good value. Buffet dinner is good but not every night limited main options. Recommend car hire as it's beach front but not near any attractions or towns. However having a car gives access to everything as it's 20minutes to most water parks, and towns. 45 mins from Faro. Really nice supermarket up the hill 5 min walk.
Hotel has been upgraded work was going on on the pools when we where there but finished when we left, not ideal would have liked to know before we got there, only downfall was communication from management and customer liaison staff. Not quite a 5 star rating yet but very very nice and comfortable loved it.

C'est la 2 ème fois que nous venons dans cette hôtel, la 1ere fois nous étions venu dans les suites ou nous avons eu quelques petits mécontentement et maintenant en chambre double, l'hôtel a fait beaucoup d'amélioration depuis.
C'est vraiment un super hôtel.
P.S juste un dernier commentaire quand nous tirons la chasse d'eau des toilettes une forte odeur d'égouts sortait de la douche...

Hotel básico.Quartos minúsculos e acanhados com graves problemas de insonorização.Quem fica alojado no edifício 1 tem barulho no mínimo até às 24h devido a existência de bar com 'animação'.Sao audíveis todas as entradas tardias no empreendimento por parte dos hóspedes pela proximidade da recepção e dos elevadores em todos os pisos aos quartos.Clientela tipicamente inglesa e francesa o que torna as noites um sobressalto.As piscinas são abundantes no entanto, estéreis e áridas sem serviço de bar de apoio,caso deseje uma bebida ou algum petisco não há,ou terá que se deslocar ao único bar do empreendimento no edifício 1 o que se torna impraticável.Pequeno almoco razoavel,no entanto,sempre com coisas em falta,temos que estar sempre a pedir reposição. Sem serviços de diferenciação para classificação 5estrelas.Nao recomendo.Fica muito a desejar comparativamente a outros empreendimentos 5estrelas do Grupo Nau.

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, gutes Frühstück. Die Zimmer haben mit einem 5 Sterne Hotel wenig gemein, eher 3 Sterne. Musste leider ich einmal umziehen, da es im Nachbarzimmer abends und auch morgens ab 05:30 Uhr lärmte. Bei der Abreise wurde das Frühstück leider verwehrt. Der Strand und die Außenanlagen sind hervorragend gepflegt und laden zum Verweilen und Erholen ein. Hübsche Anlage, allerdings sind die Preise etwas zu hoch.

The hotel was amazing- just in the middle of no where - there was very little around including restaurants. The restaurants in the hotel itself were quite expensive, and not much variety. Breakfast was great however, snack bar was lovely. The hotel had no entertainment at all at night, it was dead. So if you want some night life you need to get a taxi into Albufeira itself. But this is quite far from hotel.

Vi var på familjesemester.Vi hade en stor svit med stor balkong som vi var nöjda med.Personalen hade alltid ett leende på läpparna.Frukosten var suveränt god!Stor vacker strand men havet var tyvärr kallt att bada i.Poolen var även den kall.Promenadavstånd till bra restauranger.

Beautiful hotel in a great spot ideal for exploring the Algarve. We booked a last minute break here and it didn’t disappoint. Only down side is that two of the three swimming pool area were not in use as undergoing refurbishment and we were told on arrival the hotel was undergoing a ‘soft opening’ hence not available. Would have been nice to know this prior to our visit. Great access to the beach, nice breakfast with a superb selection. Spa was a little disappointing as the sauna was not in use, again not told until I’d paid my €5 to enter.

Tive oportunidade de estar hospedado durante alguns dias neste local e ppsso dizer que é fantástico. Desde a chegada, o atendimento na receção, a surpresa que nos aguardava no quarto, o fantástico spa, o pequeno-almoço completissimo, as piscinas com vista para o mar, o total sossego qie se sentia durante a noite... Acrescentando a tudo isto ainda posso referir a animação noturna com espetaculos de magia, atuações ao vivo, etc. Simplesmente espetacular.

Positiv: Betten + Kissen weich und bequem, Grosses Frühstücksbüffet sehr gut, Personal sehr freundlich, Strandnähe superNegativ: Kein 5 Sterne-NiveauSuite war zu dunkel, weil zu wenig Lampen vorhanden ware, Möbeliereung für das Niveau zu spärlichIm Bad gab es in der Dusche Algen, die das Personal trotz Hinweise nur zum Teil entfernte (offensichtlich hat das Personal zu wenig Zeit)2007 gebaut, aber ohne Schallschutzisolation, so dass man alle Nachbarn oben hörte und die Strasse (als ob die Fenster offen sind, mit alter Technologie wie Klimageräte anstatt Umlüftung, das auch Energieschonender ist9 Schwimmbäder im Oktober kälter als das Meer: Ein 5 Sterne-Hotel hat offensichtlich noch nie von Sonnekollektoren für Schwimmbäder gehört! Mindestens eines muss 23°C warm sein!Unbefriedigend ist die SPA Situation: Separates Gebäude, Werbung für gedecktes Schwimmbad, das seit Jahren nicht in Funktion ist, und angepriesene Dienstleistungen, die nicht existieren (Pedicure war nicht möglich) ist nicht 5-Sterne-Niveau. Sehr schöne Hotelanlage die auch sehr ordentlich gehalten wird. Buffet am Morgen war auch sehr ausreichend mit viel Auswahl. Kellner sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. An der Rezeption wurde einem auch immer sehr gut weitergeholfen Mietwagen/Wasserpark usw.. Nicht so schön war die laute Engländer Gruppe im Nachbarzimmer... Männerchor nachts um 3. Allerdings nur einen Abend! Absatzschuhe in den darüberliegenden Etagen können Aufgrund der Fliesenböden auch extreme Lautstärken erzeugen. Dusche war recht dunkel und hatte Schimmel in den Ecken. Alles in allem waren wir rechts zufrieden. Für Lärm anderer Besucher kann ja das Hotel nichts.

Wir waren zu Viert 9 Tage in diesem Hotel.
Beim Check in hat alles gut geklappt. Das Personal überaus freundlich , ob an der Rezeption oder im Restaurant. Unsere Zimmer waren sehr sehr sauber bis zum letzten Tag. Es gab zum Empfang Schoko Früchte und Sekt. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ist relativ leise. Die Poolanlage ist wunderschön mit Palmen, 2 großen und 1 kleinen Pool für Kinder, einer Poolbar und Privatstrand. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war jeden Tag ausreichend, abwechslungsreich und echt lecker. Auch die Dessert Auswahl war jedes mal richtig gut!!
Umgebung: Man braucht dort einen Mietwagen. Alles sehr weitläufig. Nur mit Auto echt super.
Fazit: Top Hotel! Rundum zufrieden!

Wir waren mit einem 14 Jährigen Teenager zwei Wochen in der tollen Anlage. Die Suiten sind sehr gross, modern eingerichtet, die Badezimmer sind sehr klein, störte uns jedoch nicht. Die Küche hat einen Kühlschrank, Herd und Mikrowelle und ist nur mit Gläser und Tassen ausgerüstet. Es hat eine neue Nesspressomaschine, 4 Kapseln werden offeriert, neue kosten 2 Euro pro Kapsel, da nimmt man die Kpsl. halt von zu Hause mit. Das WLAN ist in den Suiten und in den beiden Baren hervorragend, an den Pools hat man keinen Empfang. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr abwechslungsreich und wird bis zum Ende stets nachgefüllt, es gibt jeden Tag frischen Orangensaft, Sekt und Nespressokaffee.

I'm currently at the hotel. As I'm a little sick, I try to enjoy a little calm in my room before enjoying the sun. Ho well, trying. Employees are screaming in the corridors, when cleaning upstairs, looks like an elephant is running over you head. And best of all, a so called "Raggae Bar" is shouting music (ain't raggae, just low cost pop music) so loud I can hear it in my room, even if nobody gives a damn about their playslists ! There are only families here (I can also hear them thanks to paperthin walls !).

The site of the hotel is perfect with walkway to surrounding beautiful beaches. However for a hotel this size wit 9 swimming pools, the facilities were distinctly lacking. There is only 1 restaurant and food was mediocre and 1 poolside cafe which serves only sandwiches. The gym had only a few machines and staff gave my son 16 a grilling for wanting to use gym. I ordered room service for first night and staff got orders wrong twice and still delivered wrong food after waiting one and 1/2 hours. The staff insisted that I was charged twice (they delivered wrong food first time and still wrong the second time) and I had to go to reception to sort! This hotel has the potential to be a top 5 star hotel but let down by lack of facilities and staff attitude, Only 1 supermarket within walking distance and we discovered too late that neighbouring hotel offers a choice of 5 restaurants.

Hotel que permite uma agradável estadia, com boa comida e excelente localização. Porém apresenta alguns senão: as almofadas causam dores no pescoço e o ginásio tem um horário que não permite a prática de exercício a uma hora adequada.

Der Strand ist wunderbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnung, das Abendessen jedoch nichts besonders. Es gibt aber ein paar nette Restaurants in der Umgebung. Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas außerhalb vom Geschehen, jedoch ruhig und direkt beim Strand.

São apart-hotéis excelentes, no tocante às instalações, amplas e confortáveis.
O único inconveniente consiste no fato de a Administração/Recepção ficar distante da maioria dos apartamentos, diferentemente de um hotel. Caso ocorra algum contratempo - como aconteceu comigo -, pelo fato de o interfone não funcionar, tive que me deslocar, já um tanto tarde da noite, para solicitar providências.

Bom hotel, espaçoso, com uma vista maravilhosa, um pequeno almoço agradável. Mas falta de conforto. Fiquei num suite para três adultos, e o sofá cama ficou muito aquém do esperado, faltam, inclusivamente, sofás ou cadeiras confortáveis. Na minha opinião pagar 5 euros por dia para usufruir do jacuzzi, sauna e banho turco é desapontante.

Es un 5 estrellas que para mi deberia tener 4 la habitacion pequeña 15 metros cuadarados y la cama en medio a parte de pasillo y baño el minibar vacio y mal decorada.A la srta de recepcion se le olvido autorizar mi tarjeta de credito y cuando apunte dos cervezas en el bar a la habitacion el camarero salio detras de mi con la cuenta firmada.No obstante el hotel esta bien para ir a la playa esta cerquisima ,tiene unas piscinas muy buenas , el desayuno esta muy bien y la limpieza es estupenda y las camas son una maravilla aunque cubren los colchones con un cubrecolchon de plastico que te hace sudar la gota gorda esto es increible en un hotel de 5 estrellas(o de tres o cuatro). No obstante= Si lo recomendaria

De kamer waren mooi groot en netjes, het ontbijt keuze was ook goed, personeel is vriendelijk , in zijn totaliteit een zeer goed beoordeling voor dit Hotel en de zwembaden . Loop afstand van een zeer goed strand, mooi en een aangenaam strand.

Zimmer sind Sauber, aber sehr schlecht beleuchtet, gerade das Bad, da wird Rasieren zum Abenteuer. Frühstücksbuffe könnte vielfältiger sein, Abendessen hingegen ist qualitativ sehr gut. Im Ganzen kann man es aber empfehlen für einen ruhigen Strandurlaub.

It is a nice hotel in a not so good location. I'll give it 4 stars because I don't think this hotel could be in the 5 star category. The beds are not comfortable enough, although the room is huge. The sofa bed for a child was really uncomfortable and the bathroom had a funny smell. However, breakfast was decent and children went crazy with 9 swimming pools. Kids club isnt really attractive buy I don't really have a kids club type of child anyway. There we a lovely fish restaurant nearby (15/20 min walk) called '' grelha do ti Manuel '' offering eat as much as you like fresh grilled fish for bargain (something around 15 euros?) and it was delicious. The stuffed squid was to die for. But going back to the hotel, staff was attentive Nd helpful but if you want to get around as see the region you definitely need a car. Otherwise you are stuck in the hotel with nothing to do

Hotel localizado en primera línea de playa. Desayuno muy variado, cena correcta. Habitaciones modernas y espaciosas, con camas no tan cómodas (especialmente la del sofá-cama). Personal atento y servicial. Muy buena elección a buen precio.

Complexe hôtelier moderne et calme avec piscines extérieures, jardins arborisés et une immense plage à 200-300 mètres. Notre suite était spacieuse, propre et elle bénéficiait dune literie moelleuse autorisant toutes les audaces, dun grand balcon ainsi que dune machine Nespresso (penser à acheter vos capsules car lhôtel vous les facturera 2 euro/pièce). Petit-déjeuner copieux, varié bien que sans fantaisie hors du commun, servi malheureusement dans une salle sans charme. Lhôtel propose aussi un buffet chaque soir et un restaurant plus haute de gamme. Nous navons essayé ni lun ni lautre, pas plus que les massages du Spa. Le parking gratuit devant les corps de bâtiments ou en souterrain est un avantage indéniable car lhôtel étant excentré, une voiture est nécessaire pour sen affranchir. Quelques ombres viennent ternir ce tableau globalement positif; regrettable quil ait fallu exiger de changer de chambre pour bénéficier réellement dune vue mer comme réservé et une seule bouteille deau pour 6 nuits était un peu mesquin.

I'm currently staying at this hotel and on first impressions it is nice, has a nice breach location and it clean. However if you are hoping for a quiet nights sleep please go elsewhere as the walls in the rooms are paper thin. For several nights we have been kept up by noise from others, talking sounds like people shouting and every sound is amplified because of the poor design of the rooms. The hotel management have no clue how to handle issues and brush it off. The room we are in is a Junior suite with sea view, all rooms have a shower and the bathroom is small. There is no bathtub so parents think about how you would wash the kids.
The food for kids is also very limited, the choices are burgers, chips, wraps and a buffet. No children's menu whatsoever. We asked several times.
On the plus side the pools are nice, the beach is nice and clean. The local area is also nice and quiet.
Go to the Vidamar as it caters for kids and has brilliant restaurants, the staff are very friendly and is quiet.

Schönes, modernes Hotel. Schöner Meerblick. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Badezimmer der Suite ist leider im Verhältnis zum Wohnraum sehr klein. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Jederzeit wieder.

Excelente hotel com uma localização privilegiada junto à Praia dos Salgados. Está inserido no resort Herdade dos Salgados e possui excelentes valências: restaurantes, piscinas, health club, jardins, circuitos de manutenção...
Suites espaçosas e confortáveis, ainda que as casas-de-banho sejam de reduzida dimensão face aos quartos.
Recomendado!
