Happy-Donkeys Sanctuary Algarve: I bought a pair of sunglasses from Alberto Oculistas in Continente Portimão especially for riding a motorcycle. Before I tried 4 different models at the shop and was assisted by one of their salesman who accompanied me outside the shop so I could try them in natural sun light. I explained I needed them to drive a motorbike, and he advised me the model I ended up buying. When I arrived home I soon noticed that at a certain angle the colors suddently change and returned to the shop 2 days later and was attended by a lady salesmen who confirmed that these changing of colour is very dangerous by riding a motorcycle. She than discussed the issue with the shop manager, who refused to reimburse me. When she came back she had changed her behaviour towards my partner and me, said that I had tried out 4 glasses and therefore she could not give me the money back. When we approached her, that she previously agreed that these glasses were dangerous for motorcycling she answerd that this was just her personal opinion and had nothing to do with the glasses!!! They offered to replace the sun glasses, but did not have the model I wanted and needed time to research, and had they found one in stock, the price was 57€ more than in other shops, as I later researched. They insisted that it was very clear on the invoice (small letters, barely readable) that they do not give a refund ! That is preposterous, as you only given the invoice after payment is completed !!!!! As it was clear they were not going to refund me the money, i asked for the Complaint Book, which they could not find and we were asked to wait, about 20 minutes, while they get one at their other premises ! This is a law infringement, and we had the right to make an official complaint to the police. Well, Alberto Oculistas: giving wrong advice, not willing to correct the mistake and getting disgusting unfriendly.

Pete Rowell: We had a great experience with Optica Arade, and I would highly recommend them. Miguel was very professional and patient in giving me and my wife advice on our options for lenses and glasses which we really appreciated and would return again when we next need eye tests and glasses.

Não posso andar pelo Douglas sem parar no Soulful Sparrow. Posso sempre encontrar um tesouro para levar para casa para mim ou um presente maravilhoso para outro. Há inúmeros artigos artísticos a preços razoáveis. Na Adição, roupas novas com estilo, sapatos, cachecóis e outras surpresas são para compra. Durante as minhas numerosas visitas, comprei um casaco, um lenço, um chapéu e sapatos. Recebo elogios cada vez que os uso e pergunto onde os comprei. Eu digo orgulhosamente The Soulful Sparrowin Elgin no Douglas.

Este lugar é grande, com toneladas de coisas para ver. O pessoal não é assim tão amigável. Eu não sabia que se você levar algo para a frente para ser segurado enquanto você faz compras, você recebe uma carta de baralho. O cara acabou de me entregar uma carta com contexto zero e quando perguntei sobre isso, ele olhou para mim como se eu fosse um idiota e foi um pouco humilhante quando teve que explicar o sistema único deles. Na segunda vez que o visitei, a mulher parecia irritada por termos comprado um item que custava menos de 10 dólares e disse-nos que tinham de nos cobrar uma taxa adicional para usar um cartão de crédito. Eu gosto de visitar lojas de antiguidades para encontrar itens únicos, às vezes você simplesmente não encontra um tesouro.
