We spend à wonderfull we. Thé countryside je beautiful. You can take walk. There is à beautiful market in tabua. The garden is beautiful. Thé confort is excellent. We recommend.

L'hôte est vraiment sympa et propose au passage des excursions de kayak et des rando. La maison est bien équipée avec une terrasse pour faire des bbq avec une petite vue sur la vallée dans un beau coin de nature. Le paysage est superbe. Ne pas hésiter !

A great place to stay, makes the perfect base to explore the mountains and the river. The house is cosy and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The log burners are perfect for curling up next to on colder evenings and the hammocks in the peaceful garden are perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying a freshly picked orange! Matt is always on hand to help if you need any advice, but you very much have the place to yourself with plenty of privacy. Matt is a fountain of all local knowledge, he can literally advise on everything from the best walks and local restaurants, the proper spots to buy local cheese and the best local mechanics to how to make the most out of your time on the river. Matt is extraordinarily kind and went out of his way to help, when we needed it, nothing is too much trouble. We fully recommend staying here, allow time for the two day river trip and a few days to explore some of the incredible hikes. We will definitely be back. Thanks again. J & M xx

I visited this beautiful place last week and loved it! Really enjoyed my time with the host Mathew. He made me welcome and we drank herbal tea whilst we discussed his beautiful home and farm. He was even generous enough to lend me some camping equipment for a trip out to the amazing mountain range which is a short trip away. Thanks and hope to see you again soon.

We took an excellent overnight kayaking and canoeing adventure trip on the Mondego river, which was organized by the owner Matt through his company. He was then kind enough to put us up camping in the grounds of his house for two nights after the kayaking trip! Matt is super-friendly, generous and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The property has beautiful views and garden spaces and a relaxed atmosphere - thoroughly recommended.

The house has everything you need. Two private gardens where you can eat outside, fully stocked kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Very cozy and a lot of room to relax. Matt is a very great host. He enthousiasticly and efficiently tells you about things to do (mountain, roman ruins, restaurants and more) Exceeded our expectations!

Great and cosy accommodation, with a super nice and courteous host who gives you direct tips about the surroundings and activities. The wood stove makes your stay even more comfortable. Many thanks to Matthew for this great accommodation.

I can highly recommend this place. It's cosy, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Located in a beautiful landscape and a lush green garden. Matt is a wonderful host, very friendly and you'll feel welcome immediately. If you need something, just say it and he'll do the best he can to help you. A very friendly house, perfect to go to rest and disconnect from everything and if you want you practice kayak at the same time that you stay here.

Very cozy and relaxing place. All clean and have a lot of green spaces where you can just relax and unwind. I was in big luck finding this place on AIRBNB last minute - when booking I didn’t really care where I will be staying and how. Arriving at Quinta Sarnadela I understood from the first minute that I got incredibly lucky with this accommodation. Instead of the planed 2 nights I have stayed until the last day of my trip in Portugal and it was more than worth it. I highly recommend to anybody, to go and stay at Matt’s place. Not only is he a great host, but also an amazing person with a clean home, a green garden and lots of exciting activities on the side to offer. Whenever I get back to Portugal, I will try and come visit again. The stay at this Quinta was the highlight of my trip and I thank the whole team for that. Best from Hamburg

Quinta Sarnadela is a unique place, got stuck in our hearts! We spent there our holidays and could not make a better choice - you will find a beautifully furnished and spacious house with garden and bbq space, surrounded by quiet environment that will let you relax and do whatever you want. Everything is clean and you have a lot of privacy, the communication with the owner was excellent. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at Quinta Sarnadela! Matt is a friendly host and he has a group of nice volunteers to help him around the appartement. Which is very clean, nice and cozy! You have your own part of the garden which has an amazing view!! The facilities are great and the kitchen is big and comfortable! And if you are an adventurer don't hesitate to ask Matt about the posibilities in the area!

Amazing full equipped apartment with a hammock, tons of trees with fruits that you can pick and a lot of green space. Also has a barbecue area and the host owns a kayaking/canoeing company with fair prices for a 1-2 days trip down the river with family. Feels like home.

Great place, beautiful surroudings and the owner is a nice guy who is more than happy to tell you about things to do and see while you're there.There's even a garden full of fruit and vegetables you can use if you want. I could recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

É um local maravilhoso! É um pequeno paraíso para quem quer fugir da vida agitada da cidade! Muito bom para descansar e brincar com as crianças nos vários recantos do grande jardim!

Precioso entorno, casa muy cómoda y muy bien equipada, jardín lleno de árboles frutales rebosantes de fruta. Anfitrión encantador, tiene una empresa de cayaks y aventura a buenos precios. Lo recomiendo, sin dudas. Volveremos.
