very bad service, and really rude i will never go there again and i will advise all my coleges to never go there. when one pays for a service you would expect them to be nice, probably because im young i dont deserve the same respect others do.

Bumped into Pedro on the beach while looking for a board to hire as a good window of swell had arrived. Got a suitable board, some good local advice and he was kind enough to be flexible with the return arrangement. Passed through Portugal 33 years ago and, while things have changed dramatically down at places like Ribeira, the friendly hospitality in Barra both in and out the water was great. Thank you Pedro and your colleagues! My wife had 2 lessons (and got a black eye, that you and the lifeguard dealt with excellently) and my daughter had 3 lessons. They have had lessons in France, Spain and Portugal and yours were the best. You had more instructors per pupil and gave excellent advice and help...in English. You take safety very seriously. Your rates are very reasonable. My daughter liked the Portuguese girls she met who were very friendly. You are a really friendly bloke (English slang for 'guy') and thank you for your offer to take me to a more challenging local spot! We hope to be back.
