Excelente café. Servicio muy atento, aunque hay que pedir en barra son muy amables. El sandwich club muy rico y los mejores huevos revueltos de Porto. Además tienes la opción de configurar tu plato de huevos como quieras.

Really liked this place. It has chill vibes, good study/work spot with electricity sockets everywhere. I ordered the "Light brunch" menu, which comes with everything you see on this Pic for $10.90€. It was good! Staff is friendly. I recommend.

Fui para brunch. O atendimento é péssimo. Com pré pagamento. Estava praticamente vazio mas com as mesas sujas e por levantar. A comida é de péssima qualidade. Panquecas de supermercado, congeladas e super caro. É uma pena tendo em conta que o espaço é bonito. Serviço de mesa amador.

커피는 한국에서 괜찮은 커피샵 정도 수준이에요. 막 미친듯이 커피 찾으러 여기 오실 정도는 아니고 서울 동네에 꽤 괜찮다 하는 커피 수준? 대신 케이크가 맛있어요. 다른 식사 메뉴는 한국하고 비슷하거나 조금 싼 가격인데 케이크는 반값 하는거 같아요-

Such a great place!! A wonderful discovery right in the city centre. I had high expectations as previous google reviews were very good. But when I visited Esquires I was surprised to find that the shop very much lived up to its reviews. The coffee’s rich flavor is captivating and there’s such a good variety of snacks and foods. It’s such a delightful atmosphere, whether sitting inside or outside. Baristas and servers are very kind and the service is fast.

Visitei o Esquires Coffee Porto já por diversas vezes, sozinho e em grupo, e nunca dececionou! Pedimos o Pequeno-almoço, o Light brunch, bolos diferentes e sanduíches... tudo sempre fresco e saboroso. O café e excelente e as bebidas muito bem preparadas. O espaço é muito bonito, com diferentes áreas disponíveis (mesas altas, balcão, lounge) e com uma esplanada interior muito interessante, cuja mesa comunitária permite o convívio de grupos grandes. O serviço, esse é top! Sentimo-nos realmente bem-vindos!

O Esquires Coffee tornou-se num ponto de paragem obrigatório na cidade do Porto. Tem uma decoração fantástica, atendimento de uma simpatia, genuinidade e disponibilidade incomparáveis! Produtos de excelente qualidade, o que dificulta a escolha na hora de efetuar o pedido! Saladas, sanduíches, hambúrgueres, bolos... o difícil é mesmo escolher!
O seu café é ótimo e, ainda por cima, 100% orgânico e proveniente de comércio justo.
Bebidas muito bem preparadas. Para mim, o melhor capuccino da cidade do Porto! Um mocca divinal.
Excelente relação qualidade/preço e, além de tudo isto, estão disponíveis tomadas e pontos USB em todas as mesas, o que ótimo para quem quer trabalhar!

Only had a latte, but it was easily the best I had in Porto! So smooth, so good, and the baristas seemed to know what they were doing. They also offer alternatives to regular milk, and I heard they were planning on expanding the range to include oat milk as well - really fantastic variety! I loved the decor and vibes too!

A great cafe near Sao Bento train station that opens early. I sat in comfortable indoor part, but they also had a very inviting patio portion facing the street. Being a few blocks away from the tourist center, it offered a calm moment for my espresso.

To be honest, I hadn't see its review score being so high until now, but I saw why 2 days ago. To the review itself: we had a brunch/breakfast there. Price is not the cheapest to be found, but taste-wise was great. Had some eggs, some yogurt based musli or so, coffee, orange juice and some pancakes. On the minus, I would have expected a bit more salty stuff in this big menu and would have also expected the sweet stuff to arrive later. To the service: I liked the guys, ready to be a bit chatty if needed, making those small jokes one would make. On the overall atmosphere, there's modern pop music playing. Sitting and tables are not the most comfortable I've been at, but the taste/style is great, a mixure of simplicity, modern and elegant. About 10 tables available, plus some extra space at the bar. Good for people up to 6-7 people I guess, with some more sitting outside assuming the weather allows.

Great service from the esquires staff, amazing environment just to have coffee, or brakfast or lunch or pastries. Food is fresh and has a great taste. The esquires team speaks Spanish, Portuguese, French and English! How amazing is that! You could just be here all day and eat every hour something different. Looking forward to come back someday soon. Such a great time in general.

O local está muito bem conseguido/decorado, conseguindo inclusive incluir uma esplanada antes do espaço interior. Apesar de ser aberta não é frio, embora, caso queiramos estejam disponiveis as clássicas mantas. A oferta no brunch é variada, e os preços dos menus são bastante em conta. É perfeitamente possivel dividir um brunch classico para duas pessoas e ficarmos satisfeitos. O menu incluia, sumo, panquecas (com geleia e oreo, cobertas por chantili), queijo e fiambre, ovos mexidos e yogurte com granola, além do pão do caco e compota/manteiga. Ainda teve direito a um latte e um scone. Bastante equilibrado para um começo de dia. O staff é muito simpático, e muito orientado para o turismo, falando facilmente inglês, francês e espanhol (no minimo). Por tudo isto, pode facilmente encher, e ser preciso esperar um pouco que haja vaga. No entanto vale (bem) a pena.

Portugal is known for many positive things, unfortunately Cappuccino (or any other coffee variation with milk) isn't one of them. Luckily there is Esquires with its lovely and skilled barista Thiago, who saved my life with his fantastic coffee.
Very positive employees are creating a very positive atmosphere in this central located island of rest & coffee. ideal for taking a break from the busy city centre.

Threatens to be decent, but doesn't quite get there.
Coffee is just the standard European muck that takes no interest in flavour, and the milk effectively ruins the drink.
Ambience so close to being there but just a bit bright, a bit sharp to be a pleasant place for a coffee.

Lovely, relaxing space, with a chic industrial vibe. High quality food for good prices. Pros: armchairs, indoors/outdoors seating, soft music, numerous outlets for working, friendly multilingual staff, a variety of non-pumpkin pastries and cakes, extensive menu for breakfast and lunch, lots of coffee (espresso, Americano, etc) and non-coffee choices, hot or cold. Cons: schedule (seriously, why aren't you open 24 hours?) :)... Try the matcha latte, the espresso drinks, or any of the cakes.

The coffee was really delicious and so was the food! I ordered the vegetarian sandwich and it was one of the best Tofu sandwiches I’ve had! I would definitely recommend this place for that cup of coffee which seems unparalleled!

Your average coffee place, but for Porto it is miles ahead of almost everyone else. Good coffee, good food and cakes and reasonable service. Some thought has gone into the design and feel of the place... although main lighting could be toned or dimmed down a little as it’s rather bright for a place that’s meant to be cosy. Definitely one of the better options in Porto... that’s coming from a local.
And for €11.00 for the image below I found their effort, presentation, food and service to be exceptional.

Lovely coffee place with super friendly people, nice coffee and many non-dairy options for lattes, even lactose free milk. The cakes and muffins are very tempting and there is serene ambiance making it a good option for an afternoon tea.

Good coffee and very pleasant and cheerful staff. Located very near the church and other interesting tourist spots, it’s a great location to pop in for a cappuccino and wind down with friends. Not overly touristy. There seems to be more food than just coffee, but we didn’t get to try them. Menu in both English and Portuguese.

Cozy coffee shop with breakfast, salads, sandwiches and good looking deserts. We had the triple chocolate which was very chocolate and not too sweet.

Great place for coffee, pastries and breakfast. Staff is super nice and helpful. Tasty coffee and delicious food made it our spot for breakfast while we were in Porto. I really like the decor. The modern, stylish look is creativing nice atmosphere.

a very modern place, one of the few in Portugal that has gone with the times. we can find suggestions for vegetatian here, there is access to free wifi, the service is fluent in English and they apply the rules of recycling. very good meals and finally big coffee!

Bardzo przyjemna nowoczesna kawiarnia, kawa "medium" jest bardzo duża i pyszna. W połowie samoobsługowa - trzeba podejść do kasy, zamówić wszystko i zapłacić i wtedy dostaje się numerek, pod który kelnerka przynosi później zamówienie. Zupa dnia (akurat trafiłam na brokułową) była bardzo smaczna i syta, jak najbardziej warta swojej ceny. Nie do końca byłam zadowolona z kanapki wegetariańskiej, bardzo mało było w niej awokado, a tofu było gorzkawe, więc nie polecam. Tosty z szynka i serem też smaczne. Wystrój przytulny i nowoczesny, trochę za małe powierzchniowo stoliki - ciezko się było zmieścić z daniami nawet przy niewielkim zamowieniu. Ogólnie bardzo polecam!

Great stylish atmosphere. The owner puts great emphasize on fair trade, natural product and recyclability. The Pastel de Nata here is one of the best I‘ve ever ate. Cappuccino great as well. Staff very nice and friendly. Anytime again.

Hay aparcamiento a la entrada, pero solo de pago de lunes a sábado a ciertas horas (parquímetro).

Great place for a (coffee) break from the dark roast and robusta heavy espresso served in Portugal.
The espresso is a smooth blend of various arabica Fair trade varieties sourced from Africa, south America and South East Asia. Esquires is a chain headquartered in New Zealand with roasting facilities in Scotland. Learned all of this from the friendly store manager.

Everybody here was so friendly and helpful. Being alone and not knowing Portuguese is hard sometimes, but the whole staff worked to make sure I was welcome. The smoothie and sandwich came out within 8 mins of me placing the order. This is definitely a must visit cafe

We had the light brunch. The food was okay, but we had to wait for more than 45 minutes to get it. My boyfriend got his drink (fresh orange juice) after 20 minutes and they forget to bring mine! After 10 minutes we asked if I also could have my drink. Instead of a fresh orange juice, I got one from the store. The waitress was alone and couldn't handle all the tables. Her frustration was showing. But she asked if we wanted something extra, like a coffee of another orange juice because it took so long (I still had nothing to drink at that point). And when we got our food, they forgot the scones and asked if we wanted something else, or we had to wait 5 extra minutes (what turned out to be 15 extra minutes). We just wanted to eat something and not wait for 75 minutes in total.

Stylish und offenbar in Porto hip. Zurecht! Klasse Auswahl an Frühstück, Sandwiches, Bowls, Burger etc. Auch vegane und vegetarische Angebote, vieles FairTrade. Freundliches Personal und gut gelegen zur Einkaufsmeile. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Que excelente surpresa! Seguramente das melhores coffee houses da cidade do Porto. Situada em plena baixa da cidade, o espaço é lindo. Decorado com muito bom gosto e atenção aos pequenos detalhes. O atendimento é extremamente atencioso e eficiente! Doses bem abundantes e ingredientes de qualidade. Ótimo café! O melhor waffle que já comi! Excelente relação qualidade preço. Sem dúvida que serei cliente regular!

A nice place for a pit-stop after a long walk, it actually offers quite extensive menu. Tried their açai-strawberry smoothies, which did deliver. Decently priced, staffs speak fluent English. A lot of space, though the interior obviously needs improvement to be on par with similarly-themed, modern cafés.

En voyage à Porto en famille pour 4 jours, notre logement se trouve à quelques pas de ce café. Le premier matin nous décidons de prendre notre petit déjeuner dans cet endroit avec une équipe accueillante, souriante et le patron qui parle français ! Résultat : ce sera notre café du voyage--> petit déjeuner, goûter et même un petit mocha glacé ! La nourriture est fraîche, faite maison et surtout délicieuse !

My family and I spent 5 days at Porto, and we come at the Esquires coffee every single day of our stay. It is a very nice place. The owner and all the waiter are likeable and thoughtful. It will be a pleasure to come back to Porto to see them.

Espaço adorável, extremamente bem decorado. Entre outras coisas, aqui podes tomar um café de excelente qualidade na maior das tranquilidades ,já agora acompanhado de um magnífico bolo de chocolate.
