Au lever du jour un régal pour les yeux

A wooden planking boardwalk at the top of the crumbling, amber sandstone cliffs, it's plenty wide enough for wheelchairs or buggies to pass. It has stepped seating areas in strategic places some pointing east (to watch sunrises) others west (sunsets.) It's clean. There are inclines but none that would prohibit any but the most immobile chair user. Car parking is adjacent. It is a lovely, well thought out project that enables the less able to enjoy the great views of this beautiful coastline. It's simply not long enough! Or is that just being greedy?!

Ausflug ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wenn man in die Klippen will, was möglich ist, dann ist festes Schuhwerk ratsam.

Brilliant place to explore the unusual geology of the Algarve. Decent shoes advised as you can scramble all over the rock formations. The boardwalk itself is accessible to wheelchairs and buggies but access to the sinkholes and arches is by foot only.

Extraordinarias vistas de los acantilados y cuevas desde este cuidado paseo. Hay varios puntos de acceso y se puede bajar a zonas con piscinas naturales, rocas desde donde tomar fotos y a un mirador llamado "a boneca", precioso

Vistas espectaculares, unos 600 m de recorrido. También se puede bajar por el acantilado, hasta donde rompen las olas, por escaleras hechas en la rocas.

Spektakuläre Felsformationen wie aus einer anderen Welt. Absolute sehenswert.

Excellent walk along some of the most stunning coastal caves and strange eroded shapes that you can find on the Algarve. The board walk also gave an excellent opportunity to observe some seabirds (if that’s your thing)

Isto é algo de fabuloso. Um cenário mágico! Não é ao acaso que a Praia do Carvoeiro foi considerada a melhor da Europa pelo site European Best Destination. E este passadiço teve com certeza influencia na decisão. Vale a pena reservarem algum do vosso tempo para visitar Carvoeiro e este local em particular. Dá para renovar a alma e restabelecer as nossas energias. Aconselho a hora do pôr do sol.

Excellent walk along coast with good information boards. Suited for both able bodied and those with reduced mobility.

Wow very cool place. You are able to walk down stairs that is made stone from the cliffs. The water made some caves inside the cliffs. I lost some photos but there is a lot to see. We where there almost one hour but we didn't see everything. Maybe there will be a next time for that place ☺

Spektakuläre Aussicht! Sehr gepflegt und attraktiv für Touristen gestaltet und dazu noch ohne Eintrittspreis!!! Auch die Kinder (6,9) waren von diesem Naturschauspiel begeistert!

Lovely walk along cliff tops at carvoeiro. Has viewing platforms with access down to cliffs and caves. Light up for night time strolls.

Grandiose Landschaft mit in den Fels geschlagenen Stufen, um die Steilküste zu erkunden. Nicht ganz ungefährlich, aber ohne Abenteuer wäre es ja langweilig.

This was the best part of our trip by far. Exploring the limestone caves and cliffs while enjoying the fresh sea breeze is perfect for any age. The terrain is as difficult as you want it to be. I saw 3 year olds and 80 year olds each enjoy the area in their own way. Awesome.

Über 700 Meter langer Holzweg entlang der Küste, von der Kirche in Carvoeiro bis zum Algar Seco. Mit Rast-/Ruheplätzen zum genießen der Aussicht. Hervorragender Blick über den Atlantik, und es weht immer ein frischer Wind. Allerdings keine Bewirtung vor Ort. Wer etwas essen oder trinken möchte, geht in die Boneca Bar oder ins Algar Seco Resort.

Toller Spaziergang an der Küste entlang

Gezellige wandeling van amper een half uur tussen carvoeiro en Algar Seco, een mooi aangelegd houten wandelpad, gemakkelijk ook voor rolstoel en kinderwagens, prachtig uitzicht!!

This is fantastic. On our last 3 visits we always came in the evening to watch the sunset. But from the road. The boardwalk makes it even more enjoyable.

A lovely walk along the boardwalk that takes you from Algar Seco to close to Carvoeiro beach. A nice place to take a stroll and look out at the ocean and see some caves.

Impresionantes vistas desde el paseo al atardecer. A la mitad hay unas escaleras que bajan a unas cuevas y formaciones rocosas muy interesantes. Buen sitio para sacar fotos y disfrutar de las vistas. Muy recomendable, además bajando una cuesta hay una zona de playa con bastantes comercios y restaurantes con mucho ambiente.

The day we went was so windy that it broke out umbrellas and pushed us around but such a beautiful treat to the eyes. Awesome place.... One of the highlights of Portugal....... Would do it again.

Zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Volg je het houten voetpad ben je in 10-15 minuten klaar. Ga je halverwege het pad af om de rotsen te verkennen kun je zo een uur of meer jezelf vermaken. Een prachtige locatie om de grillige kust van dichtbij te bekijken. Wel uitkijken bij het water, rotsen kunnen hoog en scherp zijn. Goede schoenen aangeraden. Zie Boneca bar voor reviews over de bar aan het eind van het pad. Zo ben je wat voorbereid...

Aqui pode passear no alto do penhasco, sentar-se a ver o mar e o pôr-do-sol e simplesmente experiênciar os bons momentos que a vida têm para oferecer. Excelente local para fotografar, cuidado apenas em não se aventurar muito. Pode cair da falésia.

O verão não é só praia...

Toller, direkt oberhalb des Meeres -von der kleinen Kapelle, bis nach Algar Seco- führender, ca.400 m langer Holzsteg, hier Boardwalk genannt. Sicher zu begehen, da sich auf beiden Seiten ein Geländer befindet. Toller Blick zum Meer. Unterwegs führt ein "Abweg" bis zum Meer hinunter. Etwas für Abenteurer!

Simply beautiful! Stunning views with easy walk ways and lots of seating along the way. We stopped off at a little play park with the kids, they loved it! And for 50cents they were able to use the telescope to enjoy the amazing views up close. A*****

Sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen - herrlicher Ausblick auf die pittoreske Küste. An einer Stelle nahmen wir der Weg nach unten und auf gesicherten Steinstufen weiter bis auf die Klippenfelsen und ganz nahe an die aufschäumende Gischt. DER Platz für tolle Photos ;-)

Schöne Strecke direkt an der Felsenküste in Carvoeiro in der Algarve. Hier kann man wunderbar direkt am Atlantik spazieren gehen. Auch für Kinderwagen oder Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet.

Kustlijn mooi het plaatsje valt een beetje tegen

Wirklich schöner Spaziergang, auf dem man immer wieder mit kleinen Klettereien vom Weg ab Richtung Meer abweichen kann. Wir haben tolle Bilder gemacht und hatten Spaß! Zu empfehlen!

Belle balade à faire le long des falaises, un bon resto sur le haut de la falaise,

Empfehlenswert! Nicht zu anstrengend und mit tollen Aus- sowie Einblicken in die Felsformationen sowie den kleinen Höhlen! Toll!

Einmalige Aussicht, für kleine Kinder geeignet solange man auf dem Weg bleibt, angrenzend ein kleiner Spielplatz, bei der Kirche. Sonnenschutz angesagt!

Der gut ausgebaute Holzweg ermöglicht ein sicheres Laufen oder Rollen entlang der Felsküste.

Incantevole. Si può passeggiare per kilometri ammirando la costa e le varie spiagge dall'alto (30 metri circa dall'acqua)

Hele leuke wandeling om te doen met je kids. Het pad is ongeveer 600m lopen maar wij zijn tussendoor de rotsen op geklommen en hebben van de rotsen afgedoken en hebben de grotten bezocht. Ochtend vullend programma. Zeer de moeite waard. De luchtent aan het einde van het pad heeft een unieke ligging en het eten is er ook goed.

Schöne Wanderung, mit Abstieg zu den Klippen

What a stunning place. Very well constructed and maintained. You really get a fantastic view of the Portugal Algarve coastline. The only issue i have is the price of the food and drink at the many stops along the way of the boardwalk is next to extortion. You could pay up to 3 times the amount for a beer or a soft drink at these bars and restaurants, The locals have really not done themselves any favours here and they will loose out to people who simply can't afford to stop for a drink or snack at these locations, also it is a bit embarrassing for some families who have to walk through these Cafe's to get down to the beeches and caves off the boardwalk that can't afford to stay even with little kids begging the parents for an ice pop or a cold drink, and you get looked at from people sitting at their tables being ripped off. I understand that they must make the most out of the busy season and they will probably close for the winter months, but I have being going to Portugal for over 7 years now and I have seen prices in the region rise dramatically over this time, so much that I don't think I will be returning there in the future. I love the local people but I feel they have gone to far in relation to there pricing in tourist areas. I come from Ireland and I have seen places close down because people are realising that they shouldn't pay these mad prices. I refuse to pay 200% more for an item because of it's location. I have walked away from Ice cream vendors at busy tourist areas because they were trying to charge €2.50 for a basic ice cream outside the door of a busy attraction, ( I simply said "that's just to much, No" and walked away) I teach my kids the right way and the wrong to make a living, and this is the wrong way.

Piekny deptak na klifach nad oceanem

Found via google maps! Great views and nice not-too-long walk along the cliffs. All way down you can have an explore deeper into some caves. If you're going off piste I would definitely recommend some "good shoes". I was wearing flip flops and it was a bit sketchy along the steep steps! There's a bar at the end of the broad walk which was highly recommend but didn't get to scope out.

Ottima idea quella di creare una passerella di legno lungo un bellissimo tratto di falesia. Lo scenario non è spettacolare come Paraia da Marinha o Camilo o Ponta da Piedade, ma è molto suggestivo e piacevolissimo farvi una passeggiata.

Muy bonita experiencia. El paseo es muy chulo y tiene bajadas a los acantilados de piedra caliza con escalones esculpidos en la roca y recovecos muy divertidos.

Bonito paseo que llega hasta unas formaciones y cuevas marinas excavadas por el mar.

Leuk om te lopen, mooi uitzicht.

Sitio espectacular. Visita obligada si estás por la zona. El paseo por la pasarela es de apenas 10 minutos, pero si bajas por los distintos accesos que hay puedes tirarte un buen rato viendo las formaciones de la roca y sacando fotos. Realmente es de lo más bonito que hemos visto por la zona.

Carvoeiro hat ein neues Highlight zu bieten. Seit Anfang 2015 gibt es einen einzigartigen Gehweg auf und innherhalb der Klippen. Die perfekte Integration in die natürlichen Felsformationen sind ein echtes Highlight. Am besten parkt man direkt oben bei Algar Secco. Der Besuch des Restaurants dort mit Besichtigung der „Boneca“ lohnt sich auf jeden Fall auch.
