We went here last month for a 3 hour quad tour. We were staying in Albufeira so it was about a 30/40 minute taxi ride and 30 euros each way on the meter but well worth it.
Claire and Mark are in the perfect spot to hit the trails, I was surprised at how many there were and we only went on the short tour! A couple of the guys on the trip with us were a little apprehensive but once we got underway they loved it.
The trails are a good mix of tight trails between bushes and nice wide open trails where you can pick up some speed. It was a hot day when we went, possibly up in the late 20s but when you are moving on the quad the wind keeps you cool.
After the tour we enjoyed a good chat with Mark and Claire and had a couple of beers with them while we waited for our taxi. The perfect end to a great trip!
So glad we did this trip and would definitely go back again!

Vooraf genoeg info gekregen en een tour/ prijs gemaakt die bij onze grote groep paste.
Eenmaal aangekomen was Claire zenuwachtig omdat we met zo veel waren. Na vertrek liep alles zeer vlot en beleefden we een leuke ervaring. Technische stukken werden gewisseld met prachtige uitzichten en mooie baantjes. Onze groep had fun met hopen en we zouden direct dezelfde organisatie nemen.
Enig puntje van commentaar misschien de aangeboden kledij soms eens updaten.

Best outfit for those that want a true action-packed day's ride.Not the normal boring figure of eight on a dirt track. Mark & Claire go the extra mile to make their business a personal one. The only way to see the Algarve and get away from the coastal strip. I have been going since they started in 2009 and cannot recommend highly enough.

Two of us did the full-day tour as the culmination of a week long trip with old friends. I have been quad-biking several times before, in various countries, but this was the best experience ever! The terrain was quite varied, combining beautiful scenery with some more challenging sections to keep things interesting. I have no idea how Mark manages to navigate all the little trails up and down the hills! We enjoyed a fantastic lunch which was a great part of the experience. I was particularly impressed with the way that Mark & Claire combine an attitude of safety and professionalism with fun and excitement, and by the end of the day, I felt that I knew them as friends! Thank you both for a fantastic experience!

Super Expérience! Marc et Claire connaissent les chemins comme leur poche et adaptent le tour selon votre niveau. Ils vous font découvrir des paysages magnifiques ainsi que de super petit village typiquement portugais. Je recommande grandement ce Quad Tour!

Wir hatten die 3 Std Short Quad-Tour mit einen Kollegen. Der Guide war sehr nett und hatten uns alles erklärt wie alles funktioniert. Wir haben eine Sicherheitseinweisung bekommen und Kleidung. Die Tour war super ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Viel Off Road. Wir hatten viel Spaß wir können Rooster Quad Tour empfehlen.

Journée de quad fabuleuse
Pour avoir vécu plusieurs sorties en quad dans différents pays c’est la première fois que nous rencontrons un tel professionnalisme et que la sécurité est autant la préoccupation des loueurs
Nous avons été équipés de bottes gants blouson et casque
Les paysages traversés étaient magnifiques et la sortie adaptée à nos compétences
Clare et son mari adaptent le circuit aux personnes

Vraiment top!
Balade de plusieurs heures avec des chemins variés et des paysages magnifiques ! Bonnes sensations sur le quad qui pousse bien même à deux dessus.
Claire est vraiment sympa, elle nous a payé le café à mi-chemin et un p'tit coup à boire à la fin de la balade.
Avis à ceux qui vont aller en vacances au Portugal prochainement et qui cherchent à faire du quad : c'est l'endroit parfait et niveau budget c'est presque donné (pour ne pas dire donné tout court car oui rien n'est gratuit!).
Les équipements (vestes, bottes, gants, casque) sont fournis sur place et Claire parle Français / Anglais.
A refaire pour ma part !!!!!

Clare est vraiment sympa. Elle adapte le tour en fonction de ses clients ce qui nous a permis de prendre beaucoup de plaisir. Nous avons rouler sur différents types de terrain (bitume, chemin, Pierre, rivière, etc). Les paysages étaient magnifiques. Nous avons fais une petite pause dans un resto très sympathique pour un café et de délicieuses glaces !
Les quads sont en très bon état ainsi que les équipements. La sécurité est top. En plus, comme indiqué sur le site, la virée en quad dure bien 3h (C'est à dire 3h de conduite).
Nous avons passés un super moment. De plus, Clare parle le français ce qui facilite les échanges. Et si vous n'avez pas de voiture, Clare peut vous récupérer à la gare la plus proche. N'hésitez pas à la contacter !

It was a wonderful experience! I booked this activity as a surprise for my husband (like our holiday in Algarve). The organization and the kindness of Claire and Mark was perfect; they planning all in every detail and also the lunch and the final beers drunk all together were absolutely appreciated.
Both my husband and I have experience in driving quad in Italy (our country) since we have a quad and every weekend we use it in the mountain (also in the winter with the snow), but this was an incredible experience! It was not a simple and banal tour, but a very impressive and strong day.
Also the South of Portugal and the landscapes of our tour was beautiful and unforgettable.
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!

Ce tour en Quad, à la demi-journée, était super !!
Nous avons vu de beaux paysages, avons pu rouler sur des chemins pleins de cailloux, sur la route et au bord d'une rivière,...
Claire nous a offert le café dans un restaurant.
Puis ensuite, en fin de tour, à boire chez elle.
Je remercie Claire et son mari pour leur gentillesse tout au long de cette demi-journée !!!

Ich habe nach einem Abenteuer für unsere Kids gesucht, und die Quad-Tour war genauso wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben!
Mark und Clare haben es toll organisiert, dass auch unsere Jungs (17 und 15 Jahre) mit den Quads fahren konnten. Lediglich auf den kurzen Strassenstücken mussten wir Erwachsene übernehmen. Wir hatten wirklich viel Spaß, die Kinder konnten sich so richtig austoben.
Besonders viel Wert wird auch auf die Sicherheit gelegt, was uns natürlich mit Kindern sehr wichtig war.
Es gibt auch Schutzkleidung in allen Größen, so dass das Fahren auch bei nicht so gutem Wetter kein Problem ist.
Wir können eine Quadtour bei Mark und Clare wirklich jedem empfehlen!!!

Richtig viel Spaß! Super Anbieter für Quad-Touren! Kein Sightseeing, hier geht es ums Fahren. Mark & Clare achten darauf die Teilnehmer nach Können einzuteilen, es gibt dementsprechend auch unterschiedliche Routen & Quads. So wird keinem langweilig, eine tolle Tour! Just went on a 3 hour tour with my family and two friends. My kids are 12 (young lady) and 10 (happy boy), and my wife had never been on a quad. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Rooster Tours.

The experience with Roosters Quad Biking is one that i would reccomend to one and all.

Hands down the best quad biking service I have used. After being quad biking in many countries such as England, Egypt and Morroco. Rooster Quad Tours here in Portugal was by far the best group I have ever used before. Friendly folks, helpful briefing, great routes and loads of fun! Highly recommend to anyone who’s interested in going quad biking. you won’t be disappointed.

Une super expérience à faire, une super ballade dans des lieux magnifiques et sauvage avec plusieurs niveaux de difficulté du débutant au confirmé. Un guide au top très accueillant et qui est de très bon conseil sur la ville et les endroits à visiter. à recommander sans hésiter !!!!

I’ve done loads of quad bike excursions before, but this was by far the best! Clare was quick to respond to us via email and Mark went above and beyond during the tour itself. I’d definitely recommend these guys and when I return to Algarve I’m definitely coming back to these guys!

Wir haben die Halbtages-Tour am Nachmittag gebucht und erlebten eine ganz tolle Fahrt durch die traumhaft schöne Landschaft der Algarve. Die Tour ging durch Wälder, Flüsse und Wiesen. Ein kleiner Teil war auf der öffentlichen Strasse. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und kompetent betreut und werden auf jeden Fall bei der nächsten Gelegenheit wieder eine Tour bei Rooster Quads buchen. Es war ein ganz tolles Erlebnis und es hat einfach alles gepasst. Wir können Rooster Quads absolut weiterempfehlen. Auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.

War mega! Hab mit meiner Freundin zusammen ein Quad gemietet. Sehr freundliche Leute, toll geführte Tour mit richtig spaßigen Straßen- und Offroadabschnitten und ein echt cooler Typ, der vorneweg fährt und sich dem Können der Fahrer anpasst! Die geführte Strecke ist perfekt für Quads, also entgeht einem nichts :) Das Ziel, nämlich ein besserer und sicherer Quadfahrer zu werden, wurde auf jeden Fall erreicht. Das Geld ists absolut wert! Gerne wieder! Ich kaufe mir wohl in ein paar Jahren selbst ein Quad :D

Tolle Quadtour am Geburtstag durch das Hinterland von der Algarve. Sehr abenteuerlich und spannend mit entspannten Pausen und netten Gesprächen. Sehr nette Familie die die tour zu was besonderem gemacht hat. Gerne wieder und sehr zu empfehlen für alle die nicht das Standard Touriprogramm suchen sondern echte Action.

We had an absolute blast! I was a little skeptical about it being fun. In Canada our bikes all have much larger motors. These machines did the trick! They had equipment for us and took us on some great trails. We stopped at a few interesting spots with great views. We saw cork trees and had a break at a very nice cafe. Hosts were fantastic and their friendly dogs were what we needed after being away from ours for so long.

This Quad Tour is a real experience in one of the beste areas! The quads are big, strong and safe. The half day tour we did is for advanced drivers with really steep and rocky trails.

I called them during our vacation and Clare answered all my questions and any "fears" that I had was answered. They were so helpful all the way and it was such a nice relaxing experience. We were supposed to be 5 persons, but one of my kids didn't want to go on the morning, but that was no problem. They even found a spot where my kids could try to drive the quads safely. They loved it. My wife, who doesn't like it at all, wanted more. We definitely want to come back on an even more challenging drive next time we come to Faro.

Had a fantastic outing with Rooster Quadbikes - totally 5-star. As a family with 4 children - ranging from age 19 to age 8 - we were initally uncertain whether it would offer enough fun to our four very different children, all quadbike novices. But the pair of Brits who run the business had us instantly at ease and the whole family had a great time with not a graze on anyone at the end. Ultimately I put that success down to great route knowledge, the strong no-nonsense safety/teaching briefings, and powerful quadbikes. They know and love their work, the quadbiking and the Algarve, and all of that came across.
Each of us - even the 8-year old behind me - had a big adrenalin / endorphin rush and felt stretched by the routes, the machines and the pace set by Clare and Mark. In fact, I had more smiles off two of my boys from this outing than I have had in several months. There was even a much-appreciated hot drink and some crisps for hungry novices at the end.
Excellent value when you factor in the machines, fuel, insurance and the input of two tutors.

Herrlich!
Wir entschieden uns spontan für eine Quadtour am letzten Urlaubstag. Wir buchten kurzfristig über das Online Formular. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit erhielten wir per email eine Antwort. Schnell und unkompliziert wurden die wichtigsten Daten ausgetauscht und es konnte am darauf folgenden Tag losgehen.
Wir wurden pünktlich am Treffpunkt abgeholt und erhielten eine solide Ausrüstung und eine ordentliche Einweisung von Clare. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind und teilten uns zwei Quads. Danach ging es los: Clare fuhr vornweg und stoppte an interessanten Orten oder schwierigen Passagen. Die Gegend ist perfekt für ein Abenteuer dieser Art! Wendepunkt war eine alte Windmühle. Von da aus hatte man einen herrlichen Blick über die Landschaft.
Die von uns gebuchte Familientour bestand aus ca. 45 Minuten Einweisung, 2 Stunden Quadfahren und einem kleinen Plausch mit Erfahrungsaustausch nach der Tour. Alles verlief ordnungsgemäß und flexibel. Kinder dürfen nur an bestimmten Plätzen auch mal selbst fahren. Am besten Clare oder Mike direkt vor Ort ansprechen. Ansonsten dürfen nur Erwachsene mit Führerschein fahren.
Für uns war die Tour ein großartiges Erlebnis! Absolut empfehlenswert.

Myself and a friend flew out especially for the day tour of the Algarve. Rooster were extremely accommodating going above and beyond for us. Their routes are unique and varied and the day was not only safe but exhilarating as you can ride to your ability. Would wholeheartedly reccomend it no matter your group size or experience! Auf der Suche nach einer außergewöhnlichen Aktivität für unseren Urlaub an der Algarve haben mein Freund und ich uns für eine Quadtour entschieden, da wir beide noch nie Quad gefahren sind und etwas Neues ausprobieren wollten. Nach unserer Online-Recherche haben wir uns, aufgrund der spannenden Tourangebote, der Nähe zu unserer Unterkunft, den fairen Preisen und der vielen guten Bewertungen im Internet, entschieden eine halbtägige Quadtour mit Rooster Quad Tours zu buchen. Die Kommunikation mit Clare verlief freundlich und unkompliziert, auf meine Email-Anfrage wurde innerhalb weniger Minuten reagiert.
Von dem per Email mitgeteilten Treffpunkt sollte man sich nicht irritieren lassen: das Navi führt einen quasi mitten ins Nirgendwo, man wird jedoch pünktlich dort abgeholt und zum Grundstück von Clare und Mark geführt, wo wir von den beiden und einem Rudel Hunde freundlich begrüßt wurden. Nachdem wir mit entsprechender Schutzkleidung ausgestattet worden sind, folgte eine kurze Einweisung in die Funktionsweisen der Quads und die richtige Fahrtechnik, bevor es los ging.
Nach anfänglichen Startschwierigkeiten und sehr viel Geduld von Clare, hatte auch ich nach kurzer Zeit den Bogen raus und konnte die Quadtour durch das hügelige Hinterland der Algarve in vollen Zügen genießen. Da wir zu dritt unterwegs waren, war die Tour persönlich und individuell und man ist sehr auf unser Fahrniveau eingegangen. Die Landschaft ist sehr sehenswert, wir haben auf dem Weg zwei Stopps gemacht, sind on- sowie offroad gefahren und durch ein uriges Bergdorf gefahren. Man sollte sich jedoch bewusst sein, dass man hier keine touristische Sightseeingtour macht, sondern der Fokus wirklich aufs Quadfahren gelegt wird.
Nach circa 3 Stunden reiner Fahrzeit, haben wir die Tour mit Clare und Mark bei einem kühlen Bier und Chips ausklingen lassen und uns nett unterhalten. Uns hat das Quadfahren sehr viel Spaß gemacht und vor allem das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überzeugt. Für uns war die Tour wirklich eine tolle und außergewöhnliche Art, fernab der Touristen-Hotspots der Algarve, die Umgebung zu erkunden und daher empfehlen wir Rooster Quad Tours gerne weiter. Wir würden jederzeit wieder eine Tour hier buchen.

Clare our tour guide was Great, very safe and most importantly we all had a fantastic time.
The tour itself had some good hill climbs and tricky trails.
All topped off at the end with a nice beer.

Clare picked us up at the hotel. on the way to the their place, she was very kind and showed us a bit around while she was driving.
When we where at the location she gave us our gear, give us some info about the quads and the tour.
Clare who drove with us, and Marc where so kind. Then we started with the tour, we did a small tour and it was so amazing she gave a lot of information, the moment that we stopt to drink some water Clare guide us around. So that was very nice.
The cool thing about this tour is that they can estimate wether you can and cannot do certain things, the won't take any risks.
She was a very good teacher, and if you want to have an amazing day where you can have a personal tour you should really go to this place.
We learned some things, had an amazing tour. The day was perfect!

Super sortie avec la team Rooster en couple pour une demi journée. Super tour, conseils juste comme il faut et niveau adapté en fonction des personnes. Quelques belles virées avec Marc pour faire déraper le quad.

Superbe expérience, je n'avais encore jamais fait de quad et j'ai adoré ! ! ! Entreprise familiale qui prend soin de ses clients du debut à la fin. Si vous voulez vous éclater entre sentiers et rivières c'est l'adresse idéale
On est partis avec 4 amis et l'expérience est inoubliable avec de superbe paysages

We were a company of five people who drove four-wheelers around the mountains above the city of Faro. We went for a half day ride (three hours) Instructor Claire took care of us all and listened to our needs. A couple of us wanted to go fast and others wished to ride slower. They solved it by dividing us into two groups without any problems. That was great! They took us to a cliff with a lovely view. In addition, we saw an area where it grows cork trees. It was interesting to see how the cork grew. A fun little bonus we liked! When we came back we were invited us to drink beer, water and some salty snacks to eat. They took great care of us and we highly recommend this trip!

We arrived at the meeting place and were immediately met by Clare. We followed down the dirt path to the back of the house and were fitted with helmets and any other equipment we requested (including boots) when I say other equipment I mean riding gear. All you need to come with is Jeans a shirt you dont care about and AT LEAST sneakers as the terrain is rocky and your foot will pay the price otherwise. If you dont mind wearing used boots I'd recommend using theirs. Very convenient as I clearly wasnt going to pack riding boots into my luggage. The main attraction for my friend and I booking with rooster is they seem to be the only tour that has sports quads. We were given two ltz250s, semi automatics, they were lively enough and I could downshift. All I could really ask for. The best part is our group had 5 people, and my friend and I were considerably more experienced than the others. I was worried that I'd be stuck putting around and not be able to get on the machine a bit, but no worries. Mark, our other guide besides clare, already assumed this and periodically stopped us (just my friend and i) so we could take more challenging and fun trails that would eventually once again meet up with the rest of the group. Whenever I go back to algarve I will be calling Clare and Mark, I just hope by then he has a few 400's we can take out! Overall great half day tour. (Also note that they only do half days In the summer, June to August. September they do full days, even weeks!)

Did a half day tour with Clare and Mark was fantastic time well spent. Clare extremely helpful when booking as a bonus got a great restaurant review.
Gear all well maintained and clean, both Clare and Mark made us feel confident using the quads and safe before setting out.
Tour mostly off the road along fantastic tracks some on the road but Mark and Clare seamlessly had everything under control and safe. Given loads of freedom to use the quads as much as you are confident, no holding you back.
Nice stop for Coffee and a chat and the beer at the end great way to round off a fantastic morning. Would definitely come back and do it all again.
Half Day Tour - 9.30 to 13.30 approx 24 miles covered. Meeting point easy to find (just wait by the letterboxes).

Réalisant du Quad dans des chemins tumultueux en sécurité. Adaptées à tous niveaux !

Oli mahtava käydä ajamassa mönkijöillä hienoissa maisemissa! Reitti oli sopivan mittainen ja välillä oli myös jännittävämpiä osuuksia. Reitin varrella pysähdyimme katsomaan korkkipuita ja vanhoja tuulimyllyjä vuoren huipulla. My first time riding a Quad and it went perfectly. Clare was super welcoming and everything was very well explained. The track was super cool with amazing landscapes.

Wir haben uns spontan für eine Tour entschieden. Es geht nach einer kurzen Fahrt durch das Dorf direkt in die Natur. Tolle Ausblicke garantiert! Uns hat es sehr viel Spaß bereitet. Auch für Anfänger bestens geeignet da Clare die unzähligen Routen bestens kennt und für alle Ansprüche etwas dabei ist! Wenn wir nochmal an der Algarve sein sollten, kommen wir wieder.

I can't recommend Rooster Quad Tours enough!!! My husband and I did one of the half day tours when we were visiting Portugal on our honeymoon. It was the most adventurous way to see beautiful areas in Portugal. Clare and Mark were incredibly welcoming and very responsive. I booked our tour with them at the very last minute and they were still able to accommodate our tour. Clare took my husband and I out on the tour and made it so much fun. We stopped at some beautiful spots along the way where Clare would take photos of us and give us some brief history of the area. We stopped at a cafe for some coffee and good conversation. Clare was an excellent guide taking us all over and challenging us on our quads! We finished the tour with a beer and some great conversation with Clare and Mark! I seriously cannot recommend them enough, very professional but fun!

On s'est senti en sécurité pour cette balade avec Clare et Mark qui nous expliquent toutes les étapes et nous font passer par de très beaux chemins ainsi que des endroits amusants à traverser pour un peu d'aventure! Petite visite d'un village tout blanc et pause café pour reprendre des forces et c'était reparti! On avait envi de continuer! Les equipements de protections sont fournis, de l'eau aussi. Tout nickel!

Großen Dank an das hammermäßige Rooster Quad Team! Wir hatten nicht allein eine spektakuläre und wundervolle Tour durch die Algarve, sondern darüber hinaus auch eine Verlängerung unserer Tour im letzten Moment angeboten bekommen.
Claire unsere Tourbegleiteterin war sehr flexibel und bot uns ausgezeichneten Kundenservice. Darüber hinaus haben wir sogar eine weitere Verlängerung der Tour bekommen, damit meine Freundin, die kein Führerschein hat, auch genug Spaß haben konnte!
Insgesamt kann ich aus diesen Erfahrungen die die Rooster Quad Touren einfach nur weiter empfehlen!
Falls wir in Zukunft nochmal in der Nähe sind, kommen wir sicher wieder zurück!
Fazit: Es hat einfach super viel Spaß gemacht!

Big thanks for the awesome rooster quad team! Not only have we had an awesome tour through the beautiful algarve, but we had a tour extension and a private tour on last minute request.
Clare our host was flexible and offered us best customer service. In addition, we got even extra time for my girlfriend since she had no drivers license to get a fair share of driving.
All in all, I personally can relate to the service and can happily say that rooster quad tours are recommendable.
In the future, If i have the chance again, I will come back!

Had an absolutely amazing time with Clare and mark! My girlfriend and I did the half day tour on one quad, had so much fun on the off road trails and saw some breathtaking sights stopped at a lovely local cafe for coffee and ice cream! Clare is an amazing instructor and will gauge your skill levels during the ride and push you accordingly if you feel comfortable, I feel I really pushed myself and gained much more confidence on this trip! Would recommend it to anyone that wants to experience a real quad tour! will definitely be going back for a longer tour next time!

Mark & Clare made us feel very welcome. They are very considerate and generous. We had instructions regarding the security rules. At the equipment level, we are well protected (stone / boots / long-sleeved sweater). I highly recommend this experience to those who love challenges. My girlfriend and me went for the half day tour. We went with 2 on 1 quad, because she isn't really the petrolhead type.. :) Mark did a great job of leading us through some amazing Algarvian landscapes, while giving us the liberty of going faster, depending on how confident we felt. The great thing is you may go at your own pace. Mark first estimates how your rider skills are, and depending on that you have a lot of liberty that -I guess- you won't get anywhere else. In the middle of the tour there's room for a fresh (or hot) beverage, there also are some stops to enjoy the landscape. Mark and Clare are great hosts that welcome you with patience and warmth. For me, this experience was a perfect ending of my voyage in the Algarve! I can only recommend! Ps: If you feel confident enough and want to build some speed, take the half day tour, it's really worthwile ;)

Mark et Clare nous ont très bien accueillis chez eux.
Clare parle très bien Français, ce qui était agréable pour bien comprendre les explications.
Je n'avais jamais fait de quad, et je suis très contente pour une première fois, car je ne voulais pas de petite balade en claquette et tee shirt sur la route, je recherchais de la sensation, et j'en ai eu ! Nous avons pris la demi journée.
Beaucoup de chemins différents : terre, cailloux, route, pentu, rivière.
Je vous recommande vivement.

Mark & Clare did a great job of making us feels comfortable riding the quads on our half day trip. The routes are great fun and there is a lot of variation so you always have to stay concentrated. I'd recommend this experience for anyone looking for a good challenge as it's not really for beginners, especially with the more technical parts up and down rocky slopes. We went on the half day tour at the start of September. There was only 2 of us and Clare took us out, she asked us our preferred terrain and catered to all of our needs. Mark and Clare briefed us fully and the tour was absolutely brilliant, we saw some great views and stopped for a lovely ice cream towards the end. Would highly recommend if you want to see the algarve views with a relaxed atmosphere and great hosts!

Spannende Quad-Tour im Hinterland von Portugal
Bereits zum 4. mal darf ich ein Erinnerungsfoto in mein Reisetagebuch hinzufügen. Mit Marc und Claire macht jede Quadtour immer wieder aufs neue Spass. Im Hinterland geht es sowohl technisch als auch aussichtsreich auf die Hügel von Portugal welche von zahlreichen Trails übersät sind. Nach einer Kaffeepause und diversen Smalltalks geht es zurück zur Quad Base in Loule. Abschliessend wird man mit einem kalten Bier verwöhnt und kann sich über die Erlebnisse mit Marc und Claire austauschen. Danke für alles und bis zum nächsten mal! Liebe Grüsse aus Österreich.

I have been 3 times in the last few years and it has been an amazing every time. Clare and Mark are very friendly yet always professional to ensure safety is paramount.
Clare took us to a different tour each time which was great, even stopped off for a dip in a small lake to cool off once. Also took time to take a video of us on the quads which was fantastic (I doubt you would get this level of service anywhere else).
I will definitely be rebooking the next time we visit Algarve.

It is a really great experiens, worth more than the cheap price. it is run by a realy kind and helpfull family, and they provide a great service so if you ever wondered if you should try quad bikeing then you should defently go to this place. They do both defferent lengs of trips and defferent defficulties so it is great for everyone.

Nous sommes allez en famille faire un tour de quad avec un guide très compétente et très agréable.

Superbe virée pour un Short Tour ! On ne s'ennuie pas, des passages plus ou moins techniques mais à la portée de tous, quelques explications pour enrichir notre culture de l'Algarve, et plusieurs petits gestes de la part des organisateurs... Tout y est !!! On ne peut demander quoi que ce soit de plus, tout est parfait ! L'équipement (casque, lunettes/masque/visière, pare pierre, bottes, gants et maillot) est fourni afin de se protéger au mieux, les quads sont fiables et bien entretenus. A faire sans hésiter, que ce soit entre amis, ou en famille ! Je recommande +++ Merci encore à Mark et Clare pour leur accueil !

I picked this company because I wanted an action-packed, high-speed 4-wheeling experience and it was great! This is not a slow sightseeing tour on 4-wheelers. Their quads are powerful, the views and scenery were wonderful, and the owners are so friendly!

Awesome Quad biking tour.Truly off the beaten path. We travelled with a stag group and had a lovely time. Clare was extremely accommodating, taking our booking last minute and really giving us a unique tour of the landscape. We'd recommend it to any group travelling to Faro.

Im Juli 2019 machten wir die 4stündige Quadtour bei Clare und Marc. Von der Buchung bis zur herzlichen Verabschiedung waren wir sehr begeistert. Begeistert hat uns vorallem, dass Clare sehr schnell einschätzen konnte wie das Können der jeweiligen Fahrer ist. Zu Beginn waren wir eine Gruppe von 6 Quads welche während der Fahrt aufgeteilt wurden um verschieden anspruchsvolle Wege zu befahren. Die Route hat und sehr gut gefallen, da man die wunderschöne Natur der Algarve begutachten konnte. Insgesamt ein Ausflug der sehr weiterzuempfehlen ist. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältinis ist top

C'était une super expérience pour ma part j'avais pas fais aussi longtemps. Les 35 kms sont très raisonnable les chemins sont délicats par moment mais ça permet d'apprécier au mieux le quad ! Débutant comme confirmé il y a de quoi s'amuser correctement !
Et puis les petits spots photos sont tout juste magnifiques avec petites explications des environs (des moulins et les arbres à lieges). En résumé très bon moment parle correctement le français et bonne petite bières à la fin du circuit.
PS: Elle nous a conseillé un petit resto sympas avec du poulet un peu piquant (pili pili) beh je le recommande fortement c'est pas excessif du tout et un must il y a l'arrêt de train pile en face (si vous voulez allé à Faro).
N'hésitez pas réservé et GO !

My girlfriend and I are both very much beginners, having only ever been quad biking once, but Clare was great at putting us at ease and making sure we went at our pace.
Included in the price was all safety gear (including boots and jacket) and water for us both. The route was great fun, with a good mix of challenging terrain and easy flat surface where you could really take in the beautiful surroundings. We loved stopping off for a coffee and ice cream half way through at a traditional portugese restaurant!
Mark and Clare are a lovely, friendly couple, who really make the effort to get to know you. We stayed for an hour afterwards and chatted over some drinks where they gave us great tips of places to visit during our stay!
Don't hesitate to book if you're looking for a way to explore the countryside off the beaten track!

Had a great tour with Clair the other day (and had previous ones with Mark). Lovely couple and i Love the home business they have, makes you feel very welcome and the beers at the end are a great touch! I have had several rides with them back in 2017 and have come back again in 2019. I will continue to do so everytime i come to Portugal in the future. 5/5 would recommend!

Super nette Leute, gute Quads und sehr schöne Strecken. Nicht das günstigste was man machen kann aber jeden Cent wert. Sind bei leichten Regen gefahren, da haben sich die Quads zuhause gefühlt. Wären am liebsten gleich noch mal gefahren.

We had such a great time on a Rooster Quad Tour that we rode again a week later! Both experiences were fantastic. The first as beginners, we were taught & guided well, then the second ride was faster & longer with hills (up & down) & tricky surfaces. The miles of off-road Algarve tracks traverse scenic areas you wouldn't usually see. Quad biking with Rooster is a thrilling excursion that we'd recommend to anyone & certainly do again!

Eine super Erfahrung! Es handelt sich nicht um eine Kaffeefahrt mit Sightseeing sondern um pure Action, Steigungen und Gefälle und Rauschen durch das Offroad Gelände. Die beiden Betreiber achten dabei auf den Erfahrungsstand der Teilnehmer und passen so die kleinen Gruppen an. Es gab im Anschluss noch ein sehr schönes Zusammensitzen bei einem portugiesischen Bierchen. Wir waren begeistert!!!

I highly recommend taking 3,5h tour. It was a great adventure with good organization of the time. Quad bikes and lended equipment is in excellent condition. Please dont forget to follow the instructions and safety rules. ;)

We have booked a half day tour but we would recommend at least a full day, what a fantastic tour! We had our own car so Mark was waiting for us at the intersection. First we got dressed in our protective gear (provided by them but make sure you wear long trousers)
Mark explained how to control of the quad in a very clear manner. After a safety briefing from Clare we started the engine and off we were! The area is beautiful, the trails are even better. Mark showed us the Algarve without all the tourists! After some time we had a quick stop at a local place where a drink was provided.
Everyone with a driver’s license can join! They make sure that everyone with different levels of experience will have a great day!
A very professional company where safety comes first, right after the fun! I will be back for more.

Hat super viel Spaß gemacht!
Ich habe die 4 Stunden Tour zum Geburtstag geschenkt bekommen und bin begeistert - vom Quad fahren und von Rooster Quad Tours!
Bin davor noch nie Quad gefahren, aber nach kurzer Einweisung war es ganz leicht und dank der Sicherheitseinweisung und der Schutzausrüstung auch eine sichere Sache.
Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe (4 + Guide) und sind abwrchselnd verschiedenste Wege gefahren. Haben viel gesehen und es wurden auch Fotos und Videos von uns gemacht. Zusätzlich hatten wir eine GoPro dabei um alles festzuhalten.
Das ganze Erlebnis wurde abgerundet mit Bier und Chips, was beides aufs Haus ging (natürlich erst nach der Fahrt ;)).
Definitiv nicht das letzte Mal! Wurde alles richtig gemacht - tolles Team, gute Ausrüstung und super Quads. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich bin schon ein paar Mal Quad gefahren aber nirgends hatte ich soviel Spaß wie bei Rooster Quad Tours! Wir haben den Halb-Tages-Trip gebucht und eine tolle Tour mit Clare gemacht. Es gab zunächst eine Sicherheitseinweisung, bei der wir auch entsprechende Schutzkleidung für die Tour bekommen haben. Dann ging es los, zunächst über asphaltierte Straßen, sodass sich jeder an sein Quad gewöhnen konnte.
Dann ging es offroad, über Stock und Stein, bergauf und bergab, über Straßen, Flüsse, Steine, Pfützen. Es wurde etwas dreckig und wir hatten jede Menge Spaß!
Clare hat sich auch immer wieder erkundigt, ob es uns gut geht, man hätte durchaus langsamer fahren können, wenn man es gewollt hätte. Wollten wir natürlich nicht ;)
Zwischendurch gab es ein Käffchen und auch im Anschluss hatten wir alle etwas Zeit, um noch bei einem Bierchen zusammenzusitzen.
Auch die anderen Gäste waren toll, im Endeffekt waren wir alle Motorradfahrer (was nicht Vorraussetzung für die Tour ist) und hatten sehr viel Spaß miteinander.
Ein bisschen Sightseeing war auch dabei aber hier galt der Satz "Wir machen keine Sightseeing-Tour mit Quads, wir machen eine Quadtour und sehen dabei etwas!"
Wenn wir wieder nach Portugal kommen, machen wir mit Sicherheit eine Ganztagestour oder vielleicht sogar mehrere Tage!

I highly recommend this! Clare and Mark are hugely passionate about the quads and the local area, and are keen that you get the most out of your experience.
We covered a large distance of tracks, went up hills, over rocks, tight and narrow sections, fast open sections and through water. A bit of everything! As i said, I cant recommend this enough!

I don't give praise lightly, but our experience with Rooster was exceptional. From the moment I contacted Clare to book our tour, till the post-biking beers we were treated with the utmost care. Clare was very friendly, patient and accommodating and Mark (who took us out on the quads) really knew the trails well and made the ride a very enjoyable experience. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.
I must stress that the tour (at least the one we took) is not for the fainthearted... this was proper quad-biking and not a peaceful wonder around the countryside. Some of the terrain was very challenging, which made this more the fun and unlike any of the offerings from other quad-biking companies in the area.

Nous avons choisi cette activité pour l'EVG d'un ami et nous n'avons pas été déçus!
Accueil chaleureux, tout est très bien organisé : briefing complet, équipements fourni en intégralité, des chaussures au casque en passant par la veste de cross, petit tour de chauffe dans leur jardin pour se rassurer.
La balade est très diversifiée : chemin de terre, chemin rocailleux, passage dans les rivières, dans les champs. Les temps de pause sont bien repartis entre les arrêts photos et les coups à boire offert par la maison!
Niveau sécurité, ils sont TRES bien rodés! Respectez bien leurs consignes et tout se passera à merveille.
Foncez y les yeux fermés, je recommande vraiment Clare, Mark et Harrisson ( guide avec Mark).

We found this delightful British couple that are running a superior service. Today it was the first time that we went riding quads and we saw places that we wound't have even imagined. It doesn't matter if you're a quad pro or a beginner like my wife, Clare and Mark will pick a perfect not everyday trail for anyone to enjoy. Try racing Mark if you have the guts :)
Btw. they have a bunch of dogs that are reaaaaaaalyyyy lovely* :)

We did the intermediate 2 hour tour and had so much fun! Both Mark and Clare came with us, taking us through various terrains including a river! So much fun and we felt safe the entire time! Safety equipment is provided and a safety talk answered any questions we had! A really lovely couple we would recommend to anyone!

Expérience unique !!! .. Nous avons choisi la formule "Half-day" (4h de quad) et avons eu la chance d'être le seul quad ce jour là. Clare (la guide) est une personne très conviviale, sympathique et nous transmet réellement sa passion pour les ballades en quad. Nous avons parcouru des sentiers avec des paysages à couper le souffle.., traversé des petites rivières, et nous nous sommes arrêté dans un petit village. Clare nous a proposé une petite pause "rafraichissement" devant une vue magnifique. Pause agréable pour se dégourdir les jambes mais surtout pour discuter et faire connaissance. Nous recommandons vivement cette expérience même si vous êtes novices dans la conduite d'un quad car Clare prends le temps d'expliquer le fonctionnement et les règles de sécurité en quad. La prochaine fois, nous choisirons certainement un parcours plus long !

Mark and Harrison were excellent guides and knew the local area well. I belive we went on the intermediate level tour which at some points was still pretty extreme.
So probably not the best for nervous or overly cautious riders.
Scenery was amazing at points.

Énorme expérience, nous étions à l'aise très vite car motards, ça a envoyé en hors piste. Tout en glisse. 4h dingue.

We did the four hour trip with just one other quad and a guide. My partner rode on my back as she didn't want to drive (that's fine, more fun for me). We started at the owner's home (which would have been hard to find due to lack of signage but the owner picked us up from our Airbnb for an extra 10€). The gave us a brief safety briefing and all made sure we were competent on the quads before heading out. The ride was awesome. We went through the Faro hilly country side with amazing views around every corner. The actual ride itself very fast and challenging enough for me to have fun but I never felt scared or uncomfortable with my skills (having only ever driven an ATV when I was much younger). We made a few stops to take in some points of interest and get some drinks. Mark, our guide, was very nice and personable and really loves what he does. They invited us for beers on their patio after the ride. Very hospitable and very friendly. 10/10 doctors would recommend.

Those guys - are simply cool!
I've been there with a friend of mine for a 2 hor tour - and as we've seen it - we regretted taking the 2-hour-tour - that's why we'll take a second tour for 4 hours in the same vacation.
Note: We took 2 hours PURE driving - the rest of the time (3+ hours) were taken for safety tour, instructions, equipment - aaaand a beer with them :)
