Worth a visit. Pipe work well preserved. You can see how it worked throughout the town. Mosaics really need protecting and preserving.

Great little insight into history within a very touristy part of Portugal. Great villa complex on show and you can really get quite up close and personal with it all. Plus a very small but interesting museum to give a bit more in-depth understanding. We enjoyed ourselves and very reasonable few euros to get in. One down side is that some of the information boards around the complex are damaged or missing which is shame because you don't know what you are looking at.

Nice little collection of Roman life in Portugal. OK if, like me, you like to get at least one intellectual visit in whilst on holiday.

Outside section was very interesting, and the small museum was a nice addition. Staff were great and for €3 each, it was a great way to spend an hour of our holiday, if you like your Roman history.

Nice little museum which won't take you that long to look around. Ruins are well enough preserved if not extensive. Information panels are provided by each site. I felt the price was reasonable especially if it allows the artefacts to be preserved.

Fantastic place, you can really visualise how the people lived, the main house has wonderful mosaic floors. Seeing the public baths, with how they heated water, and transported it around the villa is very interesting. Definitely worth a visit, and only €3

I expected a lot more and was disappointed. I assumed there would be an audio or app that would be available to give an overview of the archaeological area. Although we were given a map to follow I found it a bit confusing.

Interesting Roman ruins and a small museum housing a few artefacts. Free parking nearby. Some decently preserved mosaic floors in the ruins. However, it does need some more care and protection, as some of the pieces seem to be crumbling away.

An interesting outside walk around the ruins with a few information boards to read. Inside there is a small museum with a collection of artefacts and some more information. It'll not take long to get round it all but definitely worth a visit and at the time we went it was only 3 Euros per adult.

Interessante Romeinse opgraving, toegang €3.

A much bigger site than I anticipated, with a very reasonable entrance fee of 3€. Upon entry, you are given a map which shows the suggested route to walk around the villa ruins. Each point has a plaque with an artist's impression of what that area of the villa would have looked like during the Roman era, along with some written information to give you a better idea of what each room was used for (on our visits, some plaques where missing which was unfortunate) There is also a small museum which displays some of the artefacts that have been found whilst excavating the villa.

Interesting place. There really isn't much to see. You kind of have to imagine a lot of the buildings. It's just small ruins and the bases of the buildings.

Excellent value for money. Large, well excavated site. Interesting, if small museum. Easy stroll from Vilamoura Marina. Clean facilities, but no cafe or gift shop.

Really nice little addition to your day of exploring vilamoura. You don't need much time as it's not very big at all, but it's very interesting and a fascinating peice of history, lady at reception was lovely and there is even a little museum inside for after you explore the Roman ruins. Also right across the road to the marina if you wanted to go for lunch after

A quiet, well preserved site. Larger than you might think when seeing it from the outside. A little museum on the side shows well preserved items that were found around the site.
