Dobry punkt widokowy z widokiem na piękną duża plaże i miasto Albufeira. Polecam zjechać ruchomymi schodami na plac u podnóża wzniesienia na którym znajduje się ten właśnie punkt i udać się do miasta gdzie znajduje się mnóstwo straganow i sklepików z pamiątkami i wszelkiego rodzaju wyrobami dotyczącymi tego regionu, dalej zmierzajac w kierunku morza trafimy na piękną starowke gdzie również trafimy na wiele sklepików, kafejek i restauracji, warto gdzieś przysiąść i posłuchać fado, muzyki wywodzacej się właśnie z Portugalii. W dalszej części wędrówki malowniczymi uliczkami poprzez tunel wyjdziemy na rozległą plażę spędzając mile czas w prazacym słońcu przy szumie morskich fal. Albufeira to miejsce urokliwe godne odwiedzenia i spędzenia przynajmniej kilka godzin w podroży po Portugalii

A good place to start any tour of Albufeira and the old town and to get your bearings. Situated high above the central square, it offers great uninterrupted views along the Algarve coast and to the town below. The Algarve Open top sightseeing bus, and the local sightseeing "train" both have stops at the viewpoint and it is also accessible by escalator from the square below.

Beautiful place to relax and sit on the benches and take a picture. You can see a long way to the sea and beyond on sunny days, and nice views of the Atlantic Ocean towards Praia Alemaes in the East and Praia Peneco in the West. Sunsets can be seen at this point. It's beautiful in the evening, too, with all the lights of the old town of Albufeira beneath. This is where the city tour train stops, too.

Sehr schöner Aussichtspunkt. Kann man schöne Fotomotive finden. Mit der Rolltreppe geht es zum Strand hinunter. Am Strand entlang kann man Spazieren gehen. Gibt auch einige Restaurants in Strandnähe. Auf alle Fälle mal anschauen.

No está mal, pero tampoco para tirar cohetes. Ya que estás ahí, merece la pena subir , pero ir expresamente, no merece la pena. Al igual que el pueblo de Albufera, que es demasiado comercial y no tiene ningún encanto. Las calles están llenas de tiendas turísticas y restaurantes.

Excellent spot to get great photos of the beach and the sea. The viewpoint is on a corner so the beach is to the right and slightly round to the left there's stretches of sea for miles. I reckon it would be an ideal spot for a sun rise or sun set photo opportunity?
Pau da Bandeira viewpoint is perfectly situated for many tourists staying in hotels and resorts in Albuferia. There are courtesy buses from some hotels and this is the drop off and connection point. It's also where the "tourist train" route begins and there is the city sightseeing buses available here.
There are lots of water sports available at the beach that if you're not one to partake in such activities but people want you to watch, the view point would be excellent for that. There are telescopes too for a better view.

This is the awesome peaceful place I have been to, I even slept on the beach. The sound of waves, walk on the beach , it's a great feeling. It was very sunny even in February. Great place to visit

Had visited here in the month of March. Was extremely windy and hence cold. Stunning view of Fisherman's beach and old town of Albufeira. Worth a visit. Mini train rides and hop on-hop off buses stop here for a while.

Seit ich in Ruhestand bin, zieht es mich im März an die Algarve. In Deutschland haben wir um diese Zeit noch Spätwinter. An der Algarve sind zu dieser Jahreszeit Temperaturen um ca. 20° und eine Sonnenscheindauer von etwa 10 Stunden. Ich Liebe es.
