No le pongo 5 estrellas porque hay ciertos aspectos de la organización mejorables y por la negativa a vender hielo.
Por lo demás, el festival debería formar parte de la bucket list de todo amante de la música tecno. Decorados y sonido de gran calidad.
El lugar, junto a un lago, invita a la desconexión absoluta y el contacto con el agua, la tierra, y los demás invitados.

Pas op voor tinitus. Prachtig festival, goed eten. Medic points en informatie voorziening kon beter. Werden verrast dat op de laatste dag iedereen al van het terrein moest. Boombus was onacceptabel. Chauffeurs maakten dagen van 12 uur of langer en telefooneerden niet handsfree achter het stuur!

Wauw! Wat een ervaring! Hier ga ik zeker nog vaker naartoe. Ondanks de lange rit met de auto, eenmaal daar blijkt het méér dan de moeite waard! Wat een prachtige locatie, en de decoratie is helemaal top! Overal is iets te zien of te beleven. En het meer zorgt dat je regelmatig kan afkoelen. Op vlak van eten is er voor ieder wat wils, prijs kwaliteit zeker dik inorde. De toiletten en douches zijn dik ok, beter dan op vele andere festivals. En de muziek is ronduit zalig! Ik ben helemaal verkocht!

Top de chez top et ayez l'esprit zen, non-violence, peace, aimer la nature, le naturisme, la music, la hippitude...milite pour l'écologie, le non-commercial, organise des conférences avec des personnalités ayant reçu le prix Nobel de la paix, de l'humanité etc... Des artistes de jonglerie, de bijouterie, de vêtements stylé hippies, indiens, gladiateurs noirs etc...

It's boom festival. Its goddamn amazing. Go prepared for the hot daytime sun and the dustyness and you'll have a great time. As long as you aren't majorly straight edge, or super Conservative.

if you can buy one of the few tickets available you are already halfway through the route. the festival promises many emotions and shows of all kinds for any person, family or other. the available week is short so you can see everything. there are markets and shops that meet the needs for camping. people who are friendly and come from many countries. The cost is higher than the festival average. the last day unfortunately you have to go out you can not camp one more day. I was sorry because the place is beautiful with the lake that surrounds it.

My first time this year 2018, and I have to say, given HOW many people were here, the organization of facilities across the terrain was really impressive.

Mekka for psytrance enthusiasts and people who want to have a glimpse at an alternative community and possibly a better version of oneself.
The prices are quite high and you have to stand the heat an sun, though. But it's worth it.

It's a little bit like a consuming temple outside with a ATM - which I never saw before. The organization is bad, because you can't transfer your ticket to another person. This festival is too big. I think, it was good in the 90s, but now it's only money.

The Boom experience...
I went all by myself. Just with my backpack, tent, just what I needed. Until now this was the best festival I ever went to. If you know the PsyFi festival in Leeuwarden, comparable to that one, but much bigger, a lot more to do, more happy, fun loving people! Peace, love everywhere! Need some good vibes? Go to Boom! You meet people from all over the world! If you know languages, the more the better, but at Boom, everybody speaks the universal language of love!!!! To bad I have to wait more than one year for the next BOOM! I could have uploaded some pictures I took, but alas, my camera dropped out of my backpack... But! You always have the internet!

Super festival avec une bonne ambiance, un bonne esprit et de la bonne musique ! J'ai mangé végétarien durant tout le long du festival et j'ai eu aucun problème. La bouffe est chère, mais elle est bonne quand on mange pas trop de viande. Le gros bémol c'est au niveau des urgences : si il vous arrive quelque chose de pire qu'une simple entorse, vous pouvez mourrir sur place. Les équipes de secours sont pire qu'une armée de bras cassées. De plus, il y a un sérieux manque de respect pour les personnes non fumeurs ou asthmatiques : aucun espace non fumeur et beaucoup de poussière. J'ai aussi remarqué pas mal de vol autour de moi le dernier jour du festival lors des départs ce qui n'est pas l'esprit que l'on expérimente durant le Boom. Le cas des toilettes pleines de chiasses et des types qui te pissent dessus pendant que tu prend ta douche, ça c'est checked ! Un bon conseil lorsque vous venez avec votre tente, venez tôt, très tôt sinon il faudra jouer a Tetris dans ta forêt.

Probably my favourite festival of all time (so far). Unreasonably hot all the time, which was a little unbearable, but it was mid-summer and I am from England! The people were incredible and the vibe was the best I've experienced. Enjoyed the night-life more mostly because it was cooler then, but also the nighttime lighting and visuals (projection mappings, Chill Gardens lights) were amazing.

Positives: beautiful location & lake, great decoration, pretty laid back people, low key security, relaxed attitudes, great sound, no rain. Negatives: immense queue to get in, endless queueing for everything once inside, smelly toilets, music far below par, very amateur organization, expensive food and not very good, way too hot, long distances to walk, not as friendly as other festivals, dust, ants, too many people, lots of new age drivel, few places to comfortably chill. In all there are much better alternatives.

I have been to the Boom festival since 2006. Like all growing organisations they have had challenges to cope with. They did an excellent job. This festival has won the green festival award 3 (!) times. For example, they were the First to instal, compost toilets.
Music: bands (with an emphasis on world music), psytrance, chillout/dub etc, other electronic house music.
But Boom is not only music, there is a lot more to explore: there is an art gallery, there are street artist, there seminars on various subjects (think 1000 people listening), there is information on permaculture and lots more.
And this all in a nature reserve at the shore of a beautiful lake.

I've been at Boom in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014 and is every time more and more commercial and crowded to the point of discomfort when I went last time. Go, if you want to feel like is to live in Refugee/Gypsy Camp.

Fantastic festival, I should have come earlier to get a better spot. All in all the best festival setup I've seen so far. Great artwork and amazing light work.
