A hidden gem one block back with outstanding roof top vista from the top terrace. The fabulous food and service authentically Portuguese.
Even for a non vegan the food tried so far was savoured and will come again.

Wir waren als Familie zu Mittag da. Mega leckere vegetarische und vegane Gerichte, die optisch schon ein Kunstwerk sind. Dazu noch frisch gepresste Säfte, einfach ein Gaumenschmauß. Preislich auch sehr fair! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Wir sind begeistert und kommen morgen wieder.

Wunderbar zum Relax. Ganz oben kann man einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen. Das Essen und die Getränke sind super lecker ORGANIC mutio bon Und die Menschen sehr lieb

Sehr gutes Lokal mit toller Aussicht. Das vegetarische Essen ist frisch zubereitet, in top Qualität. Sehr aufmerksamer und netter Service. Sehr gute Weine. Einfach schön hier, vor allem ganz oben.

Great spot in the Portimão town. Lovely wholesome, mostly vegan food. Really tasty, creative food based on traditional recipes. Had a talk with the chef - he knows what he's doing and does it well!

Mi pareja y yo fuimos a cenar ahí y salimos encantados, ya no sólo por la comida que es estupenda, si no por la calidad humana de la pareja que lo lleva. Muy atentos y amables. Da gusto encontrarse con tan buenas personas. Además muy barato, comimos unas cremas de primero que estaban exquisitas, un par de segundos, un postre, café, infusión y 3 bebidad por 26€. Si volvemos de vacaciones a Portimao será parada asegurada!

Adorei! Desde do atendimento até à sobremesa, passando pela maravilhosa refeição. Fico feliz por mais um restaurante vegetariano conseguir manter-se em Portimão! E finalmente algum que tenha horário de jantares. Desejos de muito sucesso

Best veggie restaurant in the Algarve! I found it to have attentive and friendly staff. The setting is intimate with multiple rooms and quaint decor refecting an arty culture. Food was fabulous, as was the wine. The price for the experience was just right and we all left raving about the place. I would thoroughly recommend this restauran but book a table in busy times to avoid disappointment.

Simplemente encantador, es muy pequeño proporcional al encanto y al servicio que es enorme. Precio competitivo y 100% productos biológicos y de elaboración propia por lo que una opción además de sana muy apetecible. El trato del personal simplemente perfecto profesional pero muy cercano y cariñoso. Resumiendo si pasas por la baixa de Portimao tómate un café o cena aquí.

Comida vegan, levei crianças com alergia à proteína de vaca e pude comer descansado. Comida à base de tofu e almôndegas de ervilhas, com exceção de um vinho branco Paxá divinal!

Myself & my partner went here for dinner as the sun came down on the rooftop terrace. Romance to the max. The staff were gentle and the food all regional, organic, veggie. It was delicious... sparkling wine gorgeous. Chocolate brownie to finish it off. Yum. All for a very reasonable price. These guys have got great service and great vibes down to a T. Go and see for yourself.

Can't say enough good things about the service, the quality of the food and the fair prices. One of the best places to eat good, healthy, nutritious and delicious food in Portimaõ and I'm sorry I've found it in my last day of holiday.

Very warm welcoming small Restaurant in the Center of Portimão. Great choices of Vegetarian and Vegan meals. Lovley decorated, you can choose between outside first and second floor seating.

Kleines, von außen unscheinbares Lokal, an dem man schnell vorbeiläuft. Das wäre aber sehr schade, denn man würde die Gastfreundlichkeit und super leckeren vegetarischen/veganen Speisen verpassen, die auch Nicht-Veganer überzeugen! Preislich ebenfalls super.

Lovely vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Friendly service, nice terrace, good food. So why 4 stars? Because the current 4.8 stars rating seems a bit over inflated to me. This is a good place, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not mind-blowingly good, just good. The dishes are tasty but not extraordinary. So 4.5 stars would be a fairer rating I think.

Tudo é Vegetariano ou Vegan.
O espaço é mais intimista, não dá para grupos muito grandes, mas pode contar com um ambiente excelente.

Restaurante vegetariano e vegan com preços muito acessíveis, e a qualidade da comida é muito boa. Tem um ambiente muito agradável num espaço acolhedor e original desde a explanada até ao terraço. O atendimento é excelente com muita simpatia.

The food, service and ambiente was extraordinary!! They have delicious food even without gluten and you can get that for a very reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and nice.

Amazing food and lovely service. We went there for lunch with 2 children and 6 adults, of which 3 are vegetarian. They took us immediately to the roof terrace which is a very cozy place with a good view. They served us all organic vegetarian food, all choices were veg, but the menu changes from time to time. Everyone, so the non veg as well, enjoyed the food so much. You can easily pickup the good vibes of this place and in combination with the good taste, I am certain that hortelã exists because of the love for good food and make people happy with it.

O "salame" de chocolate vegan estava delicioso! Também provamos o bolo de laranja vegan e foi aprovado. Tomamos uma infusão de cidreira e menta frescas que foi divino.

Amazing vegetarian restaurant with rooftop terrace. Surprised that a dinner for two with appetizer and drinks was only 17 euros! Quality and service was amazing. Cannot recommend enough.

Amazing place. Is one of my favorites here in Algarve. If you love health and bio food, you must visit... Is mandatory.
I go almost one or two times in a month and always the menu is different.
The owners have always a big smile for you, remember your names and your friends names...they make you feel like at home.

Simplesmente maravilhoso, um sítio muito tranquilo, bastante agradável, a comida é excelente. Atendimento muito simpático e atencioso, vê-se e sentimos que trabalham com gosto e tudo o que fazem é com gosto e preceito. Recomendo sem sombra de dúvidas. Conheci voltei e vou voltar a lá ir.
