It’s a nice place to hang out with friends after work. The restaurant is famous for serving a variety of food snacks, cocktails, beers and serves some main course dishes as well. Good friendly staff offers live music on Friday and Saturday enjoyed the jazz night with one of my friend it was really worth the music and the beer.

Actuellement en vacances au Pestana viking, je suis très content l'hôte est superbe et très propre. J' ai découvert le restaurant la palmeraie superbe accueil et de plus ont y mange très très bien. Le personnel est très gentil et Vera le patron est super gentil et un grand merci a Oksana une serveuse exemplaires. Merci....a tous je recommande...

Restaurante/bar em que a simpatia dos funcionários é o normal. Aqui pode almoçar e jantar bem como beber um copo a qualquer hora do dia. O peixe na grelha é o forte desta casa mas tem mais alternativas. Os preços são moderados . Se está por estes lados faça uma visita, não se vai arrepender.

Ordered the fresh catch of the day ...yellow sea bream ..it came grilled and was excellent! It is a night on Hallowing day. You are drinking and eating with costumed staffs and scary music around you. So much fun.

Loved it! Ate here twice this week. Staff were excellent, food was better! Reccomend the Steak Portuguese Style and a Somersby cider.

En typisk Portugisisk restaurang, har den traditionella maten och skaldjur, serveras efter tillgång. Lever på turismen för när vi var där så var det lågsäsong och Portugiserna hade åkt hem. mycket folk och de höll öppet långt in på natten. Helt OK priser. Väldigt nära till hotellet.

Die gemüdligste Bar an der Algarve. Der Service ist nett und witzig das Ambiente wunderbar. Fussball wird übertragen und es gibt sogar Essen! Für Billiard und Dart ist auch gesorgt.

Didn't eat here but heard that the food was good. One of the few bars that stays open late until 2 AM with a good atmosphere and lots of locals. Chances are you will meet your Uber driver here after he's finished work! Also good for families and feels safe.

Anti commercial, ne propose pas d'entrée, pas d'apéritif...
Nous indique froidement parler anglais et PORTUGUAIS.
Vraiment pas Aimable, à la limite lui casser les dents.....
Ne propose pas de desserts, pas de café.
Erreur sur addition.
En hiver, service diffèrent.
À tout les touristes français, éviter ce lieu absolument, je vous aurez averti.

We went here to have dinner two times. The first visit was nice with friendly service. Our second visit was dissapointing. The waitor was unfriendly and preferred to chat with some girls, did not appreciated tip and did a miserable job over all.

Typisk portugisisk restaurang. Bra service och god mat. Dock tar de väldigt mycket betalt för tillbehören, jag fick betala 6.50 euro för lite ris och en enkel sallad. Nästan lika mycket som huvudrätten kostade.

Wirkt optisch zunächst wie eine Strandbar, die sich verlaufen hat. Unscheinbar und irgendwie fehl am Platze.
Aber: Eine gemütliche, lockere Atmosphäre und sehr freundliche Bedienung (die teilweise sogar etwas deutsch spricht.
Und vor allem sehr leckeres Essen, sowohl Fisch als auch Fleisch. Im positiven Sinne einfach und bodenständig. Und das ganze zu zivilen Preisen.
Wir konnten es leider nur zweimal genießen, da wir wegen der Thomas Cook - Pleite plötzlich abreisen mussten.
Aber dort wäre unser tägliches Abendessen gewesen... Wir hatten unser Hotel nämlich nur mit Frühstück gebucht.

Simplesmente adoramos! É tudo fresco e têm óptima grelha! A sopa de peixe, as sardinhas e o robalo grelhados são obrigatórios. Os funcionários são simpáticos e agradáveis. Nas férias, é um excelente restaurante de dia-a-dia, pois os preços são razoáveis.

Byliśmy 3 razy. 2 razy było dobrze, dobre jedzenie i krótki czas oczekiwania. Za trzecim razem byliśmy jedynymi gośćmi a czekaliśmy na jedzenie ponad godzinę. Przeżylibyśmy gdyby jedzenie było smaczne, ale jedna potrawa była złożona w 90% z soli, a spaghetti nigdy w życiu pomidorów na oczy nie widziało. Pomijam już kwestie brudnych stolików i obsługi która pracuje tam chyba za karę.

We went there for our first holiday meal and it was not what we expected. I had omlette with cheese and ham. I was served half raw and with cold undercooked chips. My husband had tunasteak with potatoes and veggies. The tunasteak was burnt and veggies overcooked. After food was served nobody came to the table anymore as I would have adressed this personally. We even had to go inside to pay. Sorry we wont visit again! I addition I think the prices for thos food was much too expensive. We went to Belmondo the next day and mains cost almost the same!

Very popular for lunch and mainly grilled BBQ type food. Fish being the speciality. However it is set on a busy main road so the views are not spectacular and if outside the hum of vehicles passing by is a bit annoying.

Friendly hostess and staff, good food, reasonably priced. Only negative for us was the TV screens, as we are not sports spectators and would have preferred not to have those on while eating. Sound was off though so not too intrusive. Would definitely return there.

Llevamos tres años viniendo a almorzar aquí, siempre hemos comido muy bien. Hoy, hemos llegado a las 15,00 horas y nos dicen que la cocina está cerrada y sólo hay una carta de hamburguesas y sanwiches. Bueno... Pedimos 2 hamburguesas completas 4 euros, nos ponen una hamburguesa pelá y modá, ni una patata; unos huevos estrellados, 2,90 euros, que consiste en un huevo frito, también pelao y mondao , y al quejarnos, porque ni en el bar mas cutre te sirven eso asi, nos dan, de favor, otro huevo, eso si, con una rebanada de pan bimbo. Y patatas fritas 3 euros, 10 patatas mal contás. Conclusión nos sentimos timados. Se han reído en nuestra cara. No volveremos.

Nos atendieron fatal tardaron más de una hora en servirnos pero eso no fue lo peor lo más triste era ver como atendían antes a otras personas que llegaron más tarde. Y al fila el remate de una desagradable cena, vimos como regalaban a sus clientes con un chupito

No se cual seria el motivo pero nos pareció algo de muy mal gusto.
Lo peor que se puede hacer en un negocio de Restauración es hacer distinción entre clientes.

We ate at this bar quite often because it was cheaper than what our hotel was charging and the food tasted better. The staff are so kind and friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. They have live music in the evenings. Very good and just a few steps from our hotel. Thank you

Excelente restaurante com deliciosa cozinha e o melhor peixe grelhado das redondezas. Aberto até às duas da manhã é uma óptima opção para beber uns cocktails ou umas cervejas. Tem snooker e matraquilhos assim como vários ecrãs com todo o desporto nacional e internacional.

Chewy steak served with salad dressing (oil and balsamic vinegar) and a fried egg, mushy fries. Garlic bread was burnt without any garlic and little butter. Beer was fairly cheap. Would not recommend unless you into overpriced truck stop food.

Steak dry, tuna dry, fries mushy, garlic bread is cheap discounter bread with barely any butter on it and burned . Pro: draft beer 2,60 is ok.

Lo unico bueno que esta cerca del hotel viking, ensaladas pequeñas y con dos pelos, la mousse de chocolate malisimo, y el cafe con leche de pena, calamares congelados con patatas,,, congeladas

Try a half litre of the on tap vinho verde ice cold with lunch or as a pre lunch or dinner starter drink.
The food is prepared by the lovely cook and whatever you try willl be of good quality.
A very good choice for your every day eating out, with live entertainment offered some nights in season.
We visit for three weeks in May and use this venue virtually every day with great pleasure.
