The staff were attentive and very funny. Amazingly fast service and the food was out of this world. Recommend to everyone with pleasure

Very expensive for drinks that we had, but I expect that is because of the location being in the old town square. The waitress said we couldn't pay by card which meant we had to find a cash point. Not sure if I believe they don't accept card. No change was given, it was only a small amount but I don't see any reason the waitress deserved a tip. Would avoid here as plenty of other choices of bar etc. We had lunch at another place nearby and was far better

We komen hier graag. Het eten is goed, de bediening is vriendelijk en staat open voor een grapje. We hebben hier een aantal avonden van onze vakantie met veel plezier op het terras gezeten. Alles kan, ook al staat het niet direct op de kaart, je kunt het vragen en vaak wordt het dan voor je geregeld. Hier willen we zeker nog eens terugkomen, hopelijk nog wel met hetzelfde personeel.

Die Bruschetta waren mit Letcho-Sauce, hatte nichts mit dem typischen zu tun. die Sauce der Spaghetti hat nach gar nichts geschmeckt. Wenn man das Personal darüber informiert hat wurde man ignoriert. Fazit: Nie wieder!

Overpriced fake smoothies. The menu says ice and fruit but it was really just sugar and syrup. When we told the waiter his response was: ‘it doesn’t say real fruit’. Seriously?!

It started off bad and got worse from there! When we sat down to eat we were bombarded with the waiters borderline jokes to the point the 8 of us stood up to leave. We were apologised to and it was explained the waiter had a dry sense of humour and there was a bit of a language barrier. So we sat back down to eat. One of us got a rare steak instead of medium but it was quickly corrected and our meal was ok after that untill we got home... Three of us had food poisoning, every one that had a fish dish was up all night with vomiting and diarrhoea. As a group we are miserable and losing days of our holiday. I returned today and informed the host at the door who had been on last night as well, he informed me there was no manager to speak to and shrugged me off. Terrible experience.

Das Essen war sehr schlecht, Spareribs waren so durgekocht das dass Fleisch vom Knochen fiel. Die Fritten waren weich extrem fettig und kalt. Nicht empfehlenswert.

The best cataplana in portugal!! The cataplana for2 is actually a cataplana for 4 persons! I recommend it !!

Los cafés están bastante buenos, pero eran caros, y el servicio bastante mejorable. Tardan mucho en atender y cuando les llamas la atención no te miran. Creo que faltan camareros.

We encountered a very rude person on our last day in Albufeira. Walked past this restaurant/bar in the old town and some Irish guy standing outside whose job it is to persuade people to come in,said hello to us, which we didn't hear, and as we walked on he shouted out something which I didn't catch and then I heard him calling us rude. I had turned around to tell him we didn't hear him, as we were engrossed in conversation and he still said "well I said it loud enough". Ammm well if you did, I didn't hear you. He didn't believe our explanation that we didn't hear him. Won't be going in there ever anyway if that is the attitude of the staff. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would do so, but it's not possible. Their staff need to learn some manners

accueil forcé par le rabatteur de service; service un peu long et cuisine banale; nous avons pris divers poissons grillés, ce qui n'est pas très compliqué à faire, mais au final ce n’était pas terrible; par contre l'addition était soignée...

Terrible food. Unfriendly staff. Overpriced. Asked for baquette without pineapple. Arrived with pineapple. Sent it back. Came back covered in the pineapple juice and still some in it.

My visit to Doce Jardim was absolutely incredible. We visited there pretty much every day of our holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and the prices were amazing. We never had proper food there as a meal but we did have ham and cheese toasties which were delicious and chocolate ice cream. The drinks were so refreshing and ice cold. I loved every second of my visit here and will definitely be visiting again very soon on my next trip .

Cataplana 5 Staff impecável

Lugar súper caro. Los batidos americanos están hecho de sirope y no de fruta mezclado a hielo. Pagar 5,50€ para beber agua y sirope no gracias. Latte machiato mezclado con agua por 5€.... Y además no sé puede pagar con tarjeta?! Aunque son más de 10€. Esta gente no tiene vergüenza de cargar los turistas!

2 hours ago We went there today and ordered desserts. The waiter who attended us was super rude. He is an old Portuguese man. He was treating all guests in a disrespectful manner. We also heard him complaining to one of his colleagues that a table want to order desserts even though they already paid. This waiter spilled water on our table and he did not even apologise. Though i liked the atmosphere at that cafe, i urge the management to discipline this disrespectful waiter that made us regret coming here the first place, or replace him with someone else who knows how to treat guests.

In our 8 days holiday we ate 4 times at Doce Jardim. The food is great, the staff is very nice. Do try the chicken kebab.

Una miseria. El camarero más mayor será el gerente un antipatico nos sirvió un helado que no era el que pedimos se entrometió en nuestra mesa para discutirnos lo del helado. Gente así no debería de estar cara al publico

Great service. right in the middle of the square. We had the sardines and piri piri chicken.Piri chicken was dry and lacking flavor. Sardines were overcooked.

Dålig servic, kyparen verkade mest irriterad att vi ville sätta oss och ta en kaffe och glass. Kaffet var ok, glassen var inte värd 7euro.

Very busy, table service excellent, food delicious, i had beef stroganoff, my partner had piri piri chicken and kids had pizza, we sat outside, overlooking the square, would recommend.
