Le temps est comme suspendu dans cet hôtel. Le cadre est magnifique, calme. Cest un hôtel à taille humaine et on sy sent bien. La cuisine est excellente ! Absolument à découvrir en Algarve.!

Leider sehr laut in der Nacht. Immer ein ständiges Hundegebäll aus der Nachbarschaft. Dort scheint jeder ein Hund zu haben und ständig ist mindestens einer davon am bellen, die ganze Nacht durch. Morgens ab 4.30 Uhr kommt dann noch ein sehr lauter Hahn hinzu der sich lautstark dazu äußert das die Nacht für ihn vorbei ist. Erholung war für uns dort nicht möglich. Frühstücksbuffet ist ok. Abends sind die Portionen angemessen wenn man drei Gänge nimmt. Nur ein Hauptgang ist für eine normale Portion sehr klein. Vielleicht sind die Portionen dem Durchschnittsalter der ( im Mai durchschnittlich 60 Jahre) Gäste angepasst. Da Senioren eher kleinere Portionen bevorzugen, passt das hier wieder.

Very quiet & tranquil, close to the Airport/Rio Formosa. Public transport is practically non existabt however so Uber or a car is your best bet to visit local landmarks.

Second visit to meet up with friends from Canada to this family-run hotel where staff put service first. The breakfasts were excellent, on request eggs etc will be cooked any style to order. Lunch and/or dinner available a la carte from a menu that changes slow are also very good. The outside pool is sparkling clean but unheated and rather cold in February. Rooms are clean and serviced daily but there is no passenger lift to those on first floor. Free wifi throughout and a small gym. Ample parking and attractive grounds including a 2-hole golf course!

Rustig gelegen hotel. Heel lekker avondeten, proficiat aan de kok. De appartementen zijn heel recent gebouwd en zijn dan ook mooi vanbinnen. Wij komen zeker nog terug.

Das gut ausgestattete Appartement mit eigener Terrasse liegt in einer schönen landschaftlichen Anlage mit eigenen Parkplätzen. Alles ist grosszügig und sehr sauber. Die sehr ruhige Anlage selbst liegt etwas abgelegen, ist mit einem Mietwagen aber sehr gut zu erreichen. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Algarve mit dem Auto zu bereisen. Wlan und Klimaanlage arbeiten bestens, Fernsehen beinhaltet auch deutsche Programme. Die Zimmerreinigung verdient grosses Lob.

If you are looking for a luxury experience, this is not the place for you. But.. if you want a relaxing country retreat than absolutely yes. Have a beer by the pool, enjoy the fixed menu in the restaurant, laze over a late breakfast, pick up local produce at the markets and have a feast in your private apartment, enjoy the green lawns, engage with the hospitable staff, but most of all simply enjoy the peace and quite. Listen to the cocks at dawn and frogs in the evening, bliss.

Comfortable hotel in lovely, quiet part of the Algarve. Nice pool and terrace perfect for relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, and traditional in style. Restaurant onsite provided the option to stay in after a day sightseeing. Breakfast great with many options.

Wunderbares, eher kleines, fast schon familiäres Hotel, über nun schon mehr als 13 Jahre gut geführt, sauber, sehr schöne Zimmer, großes Bad, unglaublich gutes Frühstück, WLAN ohne lästige Befristungen oder gar Zahlungen, schöner Pool, ruhig !! gelegen, großer Parkplatz, verkehrsgünstig, die Algarve vor der Tür, gutes Restaurant, abends kann ein sehr gutes Menü gewählt werden, aber auch gute Karte, zudem noch seit ein paar Jahren Appartements. Und, nicht zu vergessen: sehr freundliches Personal. Wir sind nun schon zum 4ten Mal hier und kommen wieder.

Great peaceful small scale hotel. The appartments are nice but a bit away from the main building, so we chose a room. The room is not big and on the lower level the rooms have no balcony, but the room was comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities would be great, especially as there is no room service apart from breakfast. The hotel is great, location, pool, breakfast, personnel... A bar to enter the swimming pool would be really helpful for elderly people and little kids. Breakfast was great. The restaurant is not inviting somwe ate in Moncarapacho or Olhao at night. Overall we would absolutely rcommend this hotel!

L'hôtel parle français, si vous prenez le repas le soir la carte est également français, c'est toujours plus facile ;).
Pour la piscine l'eau est encore trop fraîche pour en profiter ^^.
Pour les chambres, nous avons été surclassé :), du coup la suite était super merci.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le soir on y mange bien. Je ne connais pas le renouvellement de la carte par contre.

Fuimos en Septiembre. Es un hotel apartado de los pueblos y con una majestuosa tranquilidad. Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable, la dueña es muy sonriente y atenta. El desayuno no es nada del otro mundo pero tiene lo básico y un bizcocho casero que se derrite el paladar. Nos ayudaron con un problema de los peajes. Volveremos.

Hier hat einfach alles gestimmt! Das Apartment war ein wenig von Haupthaus entfernt und dadurch sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie Zuhause gefühlt.

Tres saitisfait de nos 10 jours de vacances a l etablissement Quinta dos Poetas,endroit agreable dans la campagne loin de la cohue touristique.
Le personnel est sympa,a l ecoute,parle surtout en Anglais.
Les chambres sont tres propres,mention special d ailleurs poir les femmes de menage qui font un excellent travail.
Les draps sont doux,bon le lit a ressort est inconfortable j ai trouvé.
Le restaurant de l etablissement est tres bon,service impeccable,prix correct.
Pour le petit dejeuner c est correct,mais il y a mieux.
Niveau piscine c est tres bien aussi,transat et parasol.
Le petit parc a l exterieur est tres joli,de quoi faire de magnifique photos.
Je n ai pas tester la salle de gym ni le mini golf.
En Conclusion c est un tres bon endroit pour passer un agreable moment

Excellent hôtel proposant aussi des appartements un peu à l'écart très confortables avec wifi, cuisine, clim, chambres avec salles de bains privées. Restaurant, piscine, terrain de croquet, aires de golf pour puter ? (Je n'y connais rien). C'est au calme, à 4km de Olhão.

מלון בוטיק מצוין , בסגנון מקסיקני. אוירה נעימה עם שירות מצוין. ניכר שאוהבים פה את האורחים. יחסית גם למלונות אחרים שהתארחנו בפורטוגל , ארוחת הבוקר טובה ומשביעה. לגבי ירקות כנראה זו גזירת גורל והפורטוגזים פשוט לא מכירים בזה.. בקיצור ישראלים תסתדרו עם אננס

Appartement parfait ! Région magnifique !
Tout était parfait, le personnel très agréable, le lieu paradisiaque. Vraiment très calme, beaucoup de verdure, temps idéal.
Je vous recommande vivement d’ y aller !!

Un sitio muy tranquilo y con unos jardines preciosos.
Nos quedamos en una casita con dos habitaciones y en cada ina de ellas habia un cuarto de baño, muy cómodo, la verdad. Las habitaciones muy espaciosas y todo muy limpio y nuevo. La cocina completa y una terracita con mesa y sillas para una cenita muy agradable. Para repetir sin duda!

Everything about the property was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was first class with bacon eggs etc made to order and an excellent selection of fruit cereals etc. We also had dinner on two evenings and it was very good, a reasonable choice and varied menu. The bedroom overlooked the pool and garden. The bedroom was a little dated but the bed was very comfortable. We would certainly recommend this hotel to couples and families, but would definitely need a hire car if you were staying any length of time as the property is situated in a rural area.

Rerirado de todo. Si no teneis coche es complicado llegar, ya que no hay transporte público en la zona. Las instalaciones muy bien, desayuno mut amplio, pero para comer o cenar no lo recomiendo. Demasiado caro y platos pobres. Mejor comprarse algo en el super.

5 days of sunshine in February in a country hotel with a room as clean and comfortable as I could wish for, comfortable bed, nice duvet. The dining room served great food - beautifully prepared fresh fruit, bread and cakes in the breakfast buffet alongside all the usual stuff, and small but interesting selection of dishes for lunch and dinner, all very well presented. The gym is small, there is an outside pool which would be popular in summer. All of the staff were very helpful.

Die Quinta dos Poetas ist ein familiär geführtes Hotel in dem auf die Wünsche einzelner Gäste sehr eingegangen wird. Die komplette Anlage ist ausgesprochen gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und immer freundlich, das Frühstück gut und ausreichend. Nach Tagesausflügen in der schönen Umgebung haben wir abends immer auf unser ruhiges Hotel gefreut. Letztendlich waren die 8 Tage an diesem wunderbaren Ort zu kurz, wir sind schweren Herzens wieder abgereist.

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel de charme, très calme et accueillant. Les propriétaires et le personnel sont aux petits soins pour que le séjour soit parfait. Petit déjeuner copieux, chambres spacieuses et confortables. La piscine est également très agréable après une journée de balade, ou pour se reposer. Hôtel idéal pour les personnes souhaitant être à l'écart des zones trop touristiques. Voiture indispensable.

The hotel is nice, after the tourism stress around the well known towns, it is nice to come back to this quiet place in the country side. The staff at reception is kind of reserved, say hello to everyone passing the desk!. Room is fine, pool is great. Food is so la la, everyday a fresh fish, OK, but always the same vegetable (wok kind of convenience greens), hardly any taste. Breakfast is OK, nice fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice etc., for any egg-preparation you have to pay extra. Over all: nice place to stay, calm down. But not too long.

This hotel is set in beautiful, cared for grounds in the middle of the Portuguese countryside. If you dont like walking then a car is a must. We opted to walk and taxi to get around and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.The bedrooms are huge and absolutely spotless although they are tired and could benefit from a make over, especially the bathroom. (not a lover of shower curtains) just a general modernisation would make all the difference. In fact if they where on par with the brand new apartments that would be brilliant.The food was fabulous, breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The restaurant quality food of an evening was very reasonable, although after a week it became a bit samey.The family who own and run the hotel and restaurant couldnt of made our stay any better they are extremely friendly and accommodating to your every need.We will definitely return and may even try the new apartments next time. Plus we would hire a car to get out a bit more but for a week just chilling it is perfect.

Absolutely wonderful rural hotel. If you have a car, no problem. Center of town is about 3-1/2 miles and can be walked carefully using the narrow country roads. Hotel offers a very good restaurant, available for bkfst, lunch and dinner. Excellent food and well presented. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained...great for relaxing walks. Owners and staff very accommodating and helpful!

The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the rooms are of a good size, well appointed and spotlessly clean.The restaurant serves excellent food and has a very good value 3 course set meal on an evening. This Hotel is a family run business with a focus on hospitality and friendliness.The room was adequate for what we wanted but was old fashioned with a small balcony.Everything else about this hotel was exceptional, the pool area, the breakfast, the cuisine all 5 star.Then you walk out of the pool area into the very well kept gardens and the ponds. Within the ponds you find an array of friendly turtles, if you remember to take a few slices of bread from the breakfast table these turtles will be your friend for life. At around 7 pm every night while you sit outside near the pool area you will be entertained by the frog choir. it was truly amazing to listen the sounds from these amphibians. All in all i will be visiting this hotel again as we really enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks to all the staff

Das Hotel liegt in einer ländlichen Gegend, etwa sieben Kilometer von Olhao entfernt. Ein Mietwagen ist nötig, um die Algarve zu entdecken. Nach einem ereignisreichen Tag ist es schön, in dem Hotel zu entspannen. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß, nur die im zweiten Stock haben einen Balkon,aber gemütlich. Frühstück ist reichhaltig, Eierspeisen werden frisch zubereitet. Das Menü im Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

We only stayed for one night but would consider returning for longer. Although we arrived at 11am we were welcomed by the friendly staff and given our room early. Our room was not large but very clean and modern. We headed for the pool which was very quiet and had views over the hotels attractive grounds. The pool was a bit cold for our liking but maybe that was because of the time of year. There were plenty of sun loungers and chairs.In the evening we strolled the short distance across the gardens to the hotel restaurant where we found the staff relaxed and friendly. The food was very good and well priced.

Das Familienbetriebene kleines Hotel liegt sehr ruhig außerhalb des Dorfes auf dem Land un mam fühlst sich wie zuhause. Ideal zum relaxen oder als Startpunkt für Wanderungen. Superfreundliches und hilfbereites Personal. Meine Omi (87) fühlte sich sehr wohl und will schon nächstes Jahr wieder zurück :)

Wir waren für 4 Nächte im Quinta dos Poetas. Das Hotel liegt ca. 7 km entfernt von Olhao, die mit dem Auto schnell geschafft sind. Die Zimmergröße ist angemessen, alles sauber und nichts defekt.Das Frühstück ist lecker, es gibt viel frisches Obst. Rühreier etc. werden auf Wunsch absolut frisch und lecker zubereitet. Der Garten des Hotels ist wunderschön angelegt. Das Restaurant des Hotels, das in einem separaten Gebäude liegt, bietet von der Terrasse einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Garten. Während des Aufenthalts unbedingt dort essen gehen und das Menü des Tages bestellen - hervorragende Qualität zu einem Spitzenpreis.

The hotel is really fantastic. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and made our stay feel like we were part of the big family. The whole area of the hotel is beautiful with its terrace and large swimming pool (I guess its 20-25m by 8-10m), park, golf practice areas, and the restaurant which is owned by the same family (good food there at reasonable prices!). You will most definitely need a car to get there and do things in the area, but its location (only 5-10 minutes drive to the motorway, or 10 minutes drive into the other direction to Olhao) makes it easy to reach anything in the Algarve area in a short time (the most remote spot was Sagres, a little under 90 minutes drive). Places like Olhao, Faro, Tavira, Albufeira, Olho de Agua, Vilamoura, and all the beaches are within easy reach by car. We had a fantastic stay there and would definitely choose Quinta dos Poetas again for a holiday in Portugal!

Das Quinta dos Poetas ist wie erwartet etwas abgelegen, mit einem schönen Pool und einem kleinen Golfplatz. Zimmer und Bad sind schön, geräumig und sauber. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich und bemüht sich um alle Gäste. Das Restaurant (auf dem Golfgrundstück) hat eine sehr empfehlenswerte und preiswerte Küche.

En un entorno tranquilo, han construido un hotel con mucho encanto y mimo. Sus propietarios son muy agradables, y el personal en general muy amables.Por supuesto que lo recomendaremos y volveremos!!!

Die Quinta dos Poetas in der Nähe von Estoi ist ein hervorragendes Hotel mitten im Grünen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das angeschlossene Restaurant, das hervorragendes Essen zu guten Preisen anbietet.

Sehr schön, wenn man es gefunden hat. Von Pechao aus nicht beschildert. Nach der Brücke links am Stadion vorbei und dann noch ca. 1.7 km. Es kommt links ein Hinweis zum Restaurant dann noch ca 100m und dann links.

Trotz Dauerregen hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr grosszügig und das Personal nett. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück war grosszügig, mit frischem Obst, und Eiern nach Wunsch und auf Bestellung. Die gesamte Anlange ist sauber und sehr hübsch angelegt. Leider legt das Hotel wirklich sehr abgelgen und ist ohne Navi ist es kaum zu finden, trotz Ausschilderung, wie wir dann später bemerkt haben. Jene erfolgt jedoch erst kurz vor Ort. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, wenn auch teilweise eher mit dem Internet beschäftigt - ist aber sofort gesprungen, wenn man auf sich aufmerksam gemacht hat. Den 8 loch platz konnten wir wegen Dauerregens nicht nutzen, haben unseren Aufenthalt aber dennoch sehr genossen!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Störend war nur, doch dies liegt nicht in der Verantwortung des Hotels, dass in der näheren Umgebung recht viel Hunde lebten, die sich während der ganzen nacht immer wieder zum Bellen anregten.

Muy tranquilo y relajado, personal atento y amable. Excelente calidad precio en el restaurante. Unica pega, una habitación mas que justa para 3 personas (la tercera con 16 años) y que no correspondía a las fotos que nos decidieron por este hotel. Me consta que las hay, pero hemos debido tener mala suerte.

Ausgesprochen nettes, hilfsbereites Personal und eine Führung, die mit dem Herzen dahinter steht.Zimmer, Aufenthaltsräume, Pool, Außenanlagen: alles top sauber und angenehm.Die Zimmer könnten ein wenig mehr Ausstattung (weitere Stühle, ...) gebrauchen. Angenehm waren die richtig guten Verdunklungsvorhänge.Das Restaurant ist ein besonderes Erlebnis: nicht nur extrem gutes und dafür preiswertes Essen, sondern auch ein Oberkellner mit umfassenden Kenntnissen und wunderbaren Storys. Folgen Sie seinen Empfehlungen, auch wenn Sie sich damit auf das eine oder andere spannende Experiment einlassen :-)Wie von anderen erwähnt: aufgrund der ländlichen Lage etwas schwer zu finden. Das Hotel hat sehr hilfreiche Anfahrtsskizzen: bitten Sie vorab darum, dann ist das Hinfinden kein Problem!

Hotel in sehr ruhiger Lage.Zum Entspannen und nichts Tun genau richtig.Auto um irgendwo hin zu kommen sollte sein.Sehr sauberes Hotel und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Restaurant kann man nur empfehlen.

Quinta dos Poetas is a very nice and well managed hotel that offered us a most relaxing holiday. This was our first visit to Portugal - but not the last The lovely staff and managing family made a fantastic effort to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Always a friendly smile, an amazing courtesy and a helping hand which we appreciated very much. This hotel has a cosy atmosphere and is kept very clean and tidy.We also appreaciated the lovely garden with its swimmingpool, walkiingpath, ponds, lemon- and orange trees etc. which offers excitement to all visitors. The path from the main bulding takes you to the Restaurant, where we had the privaledge to enjoy some delicious meals created and served by the skilled Chef and his staff. An experience in itself. We warmly recommend a visit to Quinta dos Poetas,Efter vår vistelse på Q. dos Poetas kan vi varmt rekommendera detta hemtrevliga och välskötta familjehotell.
