So as we entered and sat down our two year old son took the salt and pepper shakers and started shaking them around to which one of the older short baldish waiters with spectacles just came to our table and grabbed the items away from my sons hands after which we off course had a toddler crying out loud in the restaurant. Theres no way in hell I was going to let the waiter get away with this. We called him back to our table and informed him how it was very rude to react that way. He started explaining how ‘ the baby was playing with the salt and now he has to now throw the salt into the garbage’!!!!!!!
I explained to him how he was our son and we were aware it was wrong of him to play with those items but it is our responsibility to handle the situation and not his!!! How dare he try to discipline my child!!
Anyways, apart from that the sangria was not all that and at this point we were in no mood to order but we did order the mushroom cheese bread which also turned out bland and horrible just like the waiter!
Because of this I give them a 1 star rating!

Excellent value for money, staff couldn't do more for you. The meals were a decent size and it was lovely to sit on the beach front. There is also a pub/restaurant next door with VERY comfy chairs

Friendly staff ... location with amazing view... and you pay for it. Mixed fish plate was nice... but went in a cold day and all dinner felt cold inside the restaurant... and the food rancold quickly .(took out one star for not having any kind of heating and having to eat with my jacket on)

I have been visiting this restaurant for 29 years. We have never once had a bad meal, the food is so tasty and very reasonably priced for a gorgeous restaurant with the most stunning view overlooking Albuferia beach. The staff are lovely and very attentive. The manager and his son and daughter are like family to us- we love to visit every year and will be back again this summer! By far our favourite restaurant in the Algarve. I highly recommend to anyone staying in Albufeira.

We zijn hier wat gaan drinken voordat we het strand op zouden gaan voor een strandwandeling. We moesten erg lang wachten op onze bestelling en de hele entourage sprak ons ons onvoldoende aan om nog eens terug te komen. Overigens is onze ervaring over het algemeen, dat er flink wordt gerekend aan het strand, maar de vriendelijkheid en het goede eten kun je toch beter in het centrum zoeken.

Nadat we het strand vonden via de Tunnel zijn we hier op het terrasje gaan zitten. Super uitzicht. Het eten was ook heel lekker.

Very poor place. Food is overpriced. 6 euro for an egg with cheap white supermarket bread but that wasn't the worst. The service was just so painful. Out waiter was one of those people that work there because she has to not because she wants to. My advice go somewhere else, worst place on the strip

Staff not very pleasant. We waited to be seated but was being ignored. Was about to walk away when a waiter came to us. Seated us took 15 minutes to return to take our order, brought food and never returned again to check if we were ok.
We waited again another 15 minutes after finishing and has to wave to flag some ones attention to pay for the bill.
Not very good customer service.
Needless to say we didn't return there again.

O restaurante tem um vista fantástica, principalmente se ficar na esplanada. A comida não é nada de extraordinário mas os preços são relativamente elevados. Apesar da refeição, o restaurante vale pela vista e pelo bom serviço.

Das Essen ist eine Katastrophe. Hatten verschiedene Vorspeisen, Salat und Pizza. Die Pizza hat den Namen nicht verdient und ist zudem sehr klein. Der Salat ist größtenteils braun und die Kartoffeln nicht durch. Die Champions in "Portwein" (vielleicht ein Tropfen) sind absolut geschmacklos. Zudem unhöfliches Personal. Haben uns von dem Ambiente und der Aussicht auf Strand und Meer blenden lassen. Zudem besteht ein Alster (Shandy) aus 50% Bier und 50% Limo - leider nicht gemischt sondern getrennt.

One of the best restaurants in Albufeira, they serve the most delicious food in the region, a bit expensive but worth it as it is one of the best places to visit. There is no sympathy in the staff but they are very efficient and dedicated. The view of the beach is phenomenal and passes up a good evening.

Only stopped for a drink whilst the kids enjoyed the beach. Waiters were attentive and chatty. Good pint of cold beer and nice sangria. Not the cheapest, but suited us. Recommended.

Leckeres Essen zu Preisen die in Ordnung sind.
Ich habe eine Pizza-Salami bestellt, dessen Rand goldbraun und die Salami-scheiben vom Käse überzogen waren. Die Pizza selbst erschien mir für den Preis etwas klein, hat mich aber im Geschmack vollends überzeugt!
Ansonsten lässt die Bedienung ebenso keine Wünsche offen wie die Speisekarte.
Die Lage ist TOP! Direkt am Strand gelegen kann man die Aussicht aufs Meer genießen.
Die Toiletten waren etwas ,,ungepflegt" liegt denke ich aber auch an der Nähe zum Strand.

Very poor, 4 of us were all disappointed with our meals. The pizza looked like it had been microwaved and would have been suited to a child's birthday party. The wine was good which is all that's stopping this review being 1 star.

I would 100% recommend trying this restaurant out. I stopped in here with my partner for a drink but the food looked so good we came back for a meal and I'm so glad we did. The food was out of this world, the prices were quite reasonable & the staff were pleasant. Also it's right on the beach so what more could you want? Worst meal we had in the old town. Ordered chicken breast with pineapple. Chicken so dry and had a strange taste. I couldn't cut into it was so dry. Had to leave it. Much better restaurants in the area.

Struggled finding a vegetarian and meat friendly restaurant in Albufeira so came here as it had an option for a burger, pasta or lasagne on the menu. My friend ordered the lasagne however when the waiter brought her meal he incorrectly brought the vegetarian pasta. He insinuated it was our fault as the lasagna was unavailable so it wasn’t possible for her to order that. He then tried to make her have the pasta he had brought and said that the burger was also unavailable to make. We then asked another waiter for the burger and he said it was available. He was then ‘corrected’ by the original waiter who said no vegetarian options except the pasta. So we are still unsure whether it was available or not. Finally she ordered a jacket potato for her evening meal. The waiter handled the situation really poorly and unprofessionally. On a positive note, I really enjoyed my mixed kebab and the pricing was good. The location is also nice, on the beach front.

Staff have a terrible attitude, I moved our small table around 10cm so the sun wasn’t shining on me, and I was told off. The waiter picked up the table and returned it to its original position, saying “it goes here, in the correct space”. The food might be great, but the rest of it stinks!

Fantastic food and service.

Great seafood. Had garlic prawn starters and was pleasantly surprised to be served huge prawns in shells which were plentiful and tasted gorgeous. I had mixed fish main. Lots of fresh fish fillets grilled, tuna, swordfish, salmon and sardine. Very nice. Would recommend it if you like fish.

Staff and Ambiance was lovely, the food was delish too. Yes you pay a little more as mentioned in the comments below but anyone who understands real estate closer to the most beautiful points you pay a little more, being said the food should not suck... and this place did not. A lovely restaurant and although the prices are above those of other nearby restaurants, the food is well worth it. The prices also keep away the riff raff so you can enjoy a meal in peace.
A very nice touch is the staff providing blankets to female diners if the temperature drops.

Frozen dry tasteless seafood. Beautifully situated on the beachfront. Overpriced badly cooked frozen swordfish, salmon and tuna. I asked the waiter if the fish was fresh only to be told it was all frozen, but from the sea 'somewhere' and the restaurant is 100 metres from the ocean. Rudeness of staff in handling my enquiry was shocking. Waiter 'accidentally' dropped his wet dirty table cloth on one of the diners at our table. As soon as I raised my issue they brought over the bill without us asking. Please people do not waste your time or money on this terrible place.

We found this restaurant on our 3Rd night on holidays. We ate in it every night after for remender of our holiday. Food absolutely amazing, with stunning views of the sea. Staff couldn't do enough. Wold recommend you try this restaurant you will not be disappointed

Very good food service a bit slow. Had soup of the day to start a very creditable creamed vegetable. Wife had portugese cheese with garlic and marjoram looked good and wife enjoyed. For mains we had a Portuguese cod with potatoes and tuna Portuguese style with garlic and onion both very good. Food was very good but the service was a bit pedestrian. If you are not in a hurry go for the food. It was worth it.

Had the garlic prawns which gave me food poisoning (it was the only thing I ate that day). When i could finally leave my room again after 2 days of being sick I went to have a talk to the manager who just shrugged his shoulders, not even a 'sorry'. Would never eat here ever again.
