My favourite place to have dinner in the Algarve!!! I always make it a must to re-visit whenever I am in the area. You will have to go a very long way to find a better steak for the price, coupled with the excellent service every time. A real must if you are in Villamoura!!

De reviews zijn juist, een warm welkom en snelle service. Hadden sirlion genomen medium en medium-rare beide perfect en lekker gegrild. Als nagerecht een verrassend concept qua opdienen. Laat je betoveren als je eens iets anders wilt (brownie or Apple pie)

Restaurant propre et agréable - Serveurs adorables - Et une viande d'une qualité...! Vive la "parrillada" !!! Quand au "chili con carne", c'est une tuerie... La margharita aux fruits de la Passion est à prendre en dessert : trop bonne et onctueuse... Bref, à recommander !!!

Restaurante com boa localização e com estacionamento relativamente fácil.
Com uma bonita decoração.
A comida é muito boa e com doses generosas.
O preço das bebidas é um pouco exagerado. E o serviço um pouco demorado.

My table had terrible service! A table who was seated after we ordered was served their meals before we even got appetizers! Mexican food was not authentic and very salty! My husband ordered one of the Argentinean steaks and said he didn't really think there was anything special about it. Margaritas were good.

Beautiful clean place.
They bring you a free shot welcome drink, and offer you tortilla chips but be wary if you accept the tortilla chips its an extra 2 euros on your bill which they didn't inform us.
I ordered nachos but it was just melted cheese on top of tortilla chips, no salsa, sour cream or guacamole.
The steak was salty but cooked beautifully.
Garlic sauteed potatoes were lovely.

Ao jantar servem logo o couvert de nachos e molho mexicano. Escolhemos fajitas e burrito (a partilhar com o meu par) e saímos de lá a rebolar. As doses eram bem servidas e a comida muito saborosa. Provavelmente uma dose chegava para os dois. O serviço foi rápido e muito atencioso.

Sou suspeita em falar porque conheço bem o staff, mas posso dizer que podem ir à confiança, são todos pessoas impecáveis e a comida é feita com todos os cuidados necessários, a carne é de qualidade e os pratos mexicanos mesmo pra quem come bem, enchem a sério! Por isso vão, ah e peçam de vinho "Casa de Sabicos" é cá uma pinga!!!

Having read the reviews, thought this must be an interesting place to eat.
However, the service was at best average, and the food was very poor. For “melted cheese” read - barely warm and still solid, for sour cream - well it must have seen a container of some sort, but very little of it made it at as far as the enchiladas.
Very disappointing.

This place is an absolute diamond.
The food and cocktails are amazing here.
I have come to the Algarve several times and always come here.
It is in on main road but get a few cocktails inside you and enjoy the food and ignore the traffic.

Nice little Mexican restaurant with great inside decor. A lovely seating area outside however it is right beside a road so in the summer season can be quite trafficy. Food was ok but have tasted better. Staff were friendly. Cost was average.

Era fã deste restaurante até agora! Guacamole, passou de um dos melhores para o pior... A comida não tem sabor, queimada e outra mal passada... Fatura com valores a mais, quando informamos a funcionária foi arrogante!!!

Good value for money. We had a variety of food between our family on 4 and all meals were cooked perfectly, good sized portions and were delicious. We were served a little welcome shot which was a nice touch! Fajitas were great and the steaks other tables ordered looked amazing so did have a little food envy. Restaurant service was quick and had a great atmosphere.

Had an excellent evening with Mexican food and special margaritas! We ate some burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas and nachos. The food was very good, with generous portions and just the right spiciness! The margaritas (by the jug) are also a must. The service and the atmosphere was also very nice - calm, warm and yet lively. Highly recommended :)

A pleasant experience for the Algarve. A taste of Mexico in Vilamoura. Nice venue, looks good, comfy seats. If you have not had proper guacamole then have the fresh made infront of you. Is was nice but maybe too much salt for our taste. It's hard to judge when some one is making it Infront of you. We did mention it and one hopes they ask before adding.
A good list of cocktails available. If you want wine they have a house wine at €17.50 whilst the jump up to the next bottle is at around €30 and some more quite expensive ones after that.
Steak was very good, cooked as requested and the garlic butter round potato chips were fabulous. I had the burrito which was tasty, though a little too much dough for me. Not a criticism but my view. worth a visit

Been here multiple times to have a dinner with my friends, my friends tried steak and gone crazy ,the taste and the quantity is huge..i tried some mexican (chicken burrito) it was the best mexican food i ever had in my life ( big in size ).. and don't forget to order guacamole in starter ..best steak and mexican food to have in vilamoura , will visit again and again.. most recommended place to visit ...

Excelente ambiente, bom serviço, a comida é boa (ementa mexicana). Aprox 25€/ pax. A relação qualidade preço nao é assim tao compensadora. As bebidas sao estupidamente caras. A margarita não é grande coisa.

Absolutely wonderful argentinian and mexican food. Ate a tasty steak with chimichurri sauce and an amazing spicy burrito. Great cocktails as well.

Went with a friend and shared the meat platter for two. Plenty to eat even for two and most of the meat was very nice. Pleasant staff and nice atmosphere. Reasonable value for money.

Ontem fui pela primeira vez com a família ao Castizo, e a experiência não poderia ter sido melhor! O conceito em si ( Argentino & Mexicano) é por si só original e apetecível ! O espaço é moderno e muito agradável. Todos os pratos pedidos mostraram um elevado cuidado, tanto na confecção como na apresentação e, foi notório que todos os ingredientes utilizados eram muito frescos e de elevada qualidade. A relação preço/qualidade é perfeitamente enquadrada. O serviço também é excelente: colaboradores muito simpáticos e que revelam grande conhecimento do menu.
Para quem desejar ter uma experiência única, o Castizo é uma paragem obrigatória em Vilamoura, Recomendo Vivamente!!
