Very good food here and good location. Staff very pushy at the door to get you to go in but not rude as some places are around here. Once you decide to go in its good.

Cheap and the food was good, but the place was old, and the place wasn't very clean. The price is around 16€ pp.

We wanted an Indian and found this place. A quick check of the google maps reviews made our minds up. A doorway leading upstairs above another Indian. We had the cheap menu for €12. Small beer/wine Small starter, main meal with boiled rice or naan. We payed an extra 60c each for pilau rice. For the money it's well worth it in its central location. Very Tasty curry and ate the lot! Not loads of choice on this menu so nice and simple. The staff were great with us and the kids also helping with the prams on the stairs. Nice Terrace garden for a drink and to people watch. Will come here again.

Very very good, really nice waiters,do not go to the one downstairs overpriced and rusbish compared to this is was hideous! But this was very good! You should definitely go!

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Schärfe ist nach indischem maß bemessen. Medium scharf ist für den Mitteleuropäer genug. Das Indian taj ist das Restaurant was eine Treppe hinauf geht, nicht das direkt benachbarte eine Treppe hinunter.

Lucky stumble upon this Indian restaurant while roaming around the old Albufeira town. Lunch was great, service was excellent and had the softest Naan ever. Had Kulfi after a long time. Even got dinner take away while returning. Avoid a similar Indian restaurant at ground floor and come straight up to the first floor. Staff is very friendly & they do speak and understand English. Highly recommended!!!

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijke bediening

This was the worst meal we had all week. Only 1 person in our party of 6 enjoyed their food from here. The place is small and crapped too. The only saving grace is the staff are lovely

Mijn man en ik hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Ik ben geen grote kenner van Indian/Thais eten, maar had zin in een romige curry. Ik vind al heel snel iets pittig, dus het is voor mij altijd een verrassing hoe "mild" mild is. Maar ik heb toch maar goed aangegeven dat ik geen ster in pittig eten ben. Totaal geen teleurstelling. Het was heerlijk! We hadden naan brood en shis kebab vooraf en dit kwam met een heerlijk (mintachtig-)sausje. Toen ik zei dat ik het sausje (dat al ver op was) heerlijk vond, brachten ze een nieuw bakje. We hadden een soort bloemkool als side-dish en dit was een klein beetje pittiger (voor velen vast mild), maar ik kon het goed verdragen ( in combi met het sausje ). Verder zaten we op het dakterras, hier heb je een leuk uitzicht op de straatjes. Er was bij ons wel heel even verwarring wat bij welk restaurant hoorde. De Indian Tai zit op de 1ste verdieping en het dakterras, waar je meteen door de ingang met een trap omhoog gaat. Onder de Indian Tai zit een ander restaurant. Verder was het personeel erg vriendelijk!

Heerlijk eten en erg fijne bediening. Goedkoop voor erg goede kwaliteit, in Nederland betaal je hier voor een hoofdgerecht minimaal 30 euro voor. In Albufeira 8! Een echte aanrader

Personnellement je trouve que manger dans un bon indien est difficile ! Bel accueil, déco dans le thème, carte avec bcp de choix et très bons plats ! Nous reviendrons ! 50e à 2, avec entrées, plats et desserts, 2 bières et 1 Lassi à la mangue hummm ! Merci à l'équipe

Very bad,, they are lair,,, that food not testy at all,, the owner is Nepalese,,,, and can't make good Indian food like Indian restaurants,,, the Nepaleses restaurants everywhere in Lisbon,, they make Indian food but not perfect like Indian,,,, also not clean,, not healthy,, sorry for that,, it's my experience with Nepaleses food,,,

1st time tonight but not our last. Fantansic food,service ,people and atomsphere. Food was gorgeous hot and tasty. Clean and friendly. Staff were 100% helpful .Will definetly be returning. Thank you.

Sehr leckere, indische Spezialitäten zum guten Preis. Die Portionen sind ausreichend groß, mit einer Vorspeise davor ist man sehr gut bedient. Die Besitzerin ist super lieb, englisch ist gar kein Problem.

CHAOS from the get go. Tempted inside with their tourist menu 20 minute wait for our drinks order which was then taken twice as the first server couldn't take our food order... Go figure? He also was insisting he would get me a copy of the tourist menu even though I said I didn't need it and knew what I wanted. I then informed the second waiter who could take our order we had placed our drinks order before but she took it anyway... You guessed it 2 sets of drinks arrived. An hour wait after this for our food to arrive and all around us at other tables the chaos continued, people getting the wrong orders, long waits and a general negative atmosphere. People smoking in the restaurant. When the food arrived (FINALLY) it was bang average and not worth the wait.

Lovely meal with very friendly staff but not over powering. Free drink.after meal was an added bonus!

Bon indien, j ai l habitude de manger indien et il est pas mal, j ai goute meilleur mais c est bon et bien situe avec le rooftop avec vue sur la place c est cool, accueil et service agreable.

Precios un poco elevados, además se equivocaron al traerme la cuenta, por lo demás la comida está bien... aunque tampoco es nada del otro mundo.

So often we would order spicy and be disappointed; but not here. The food is flavourful and made with care. The four of us ordered different dishes and couldn't help but mop up all the various sauces. Not sure if this is authentic (being not of Indian descent) but certainly delicious. If I wasn't leaving tomorrow I would eat here again and again ...
