This is a veey high class place. The root top seating area is where we sat for our meal and it was lovely! We had mixture of tapas for our dinner. The prawns, goats cheese and tomato and mozzarella were very good indeed. The wine choice was good as well. The service was excellent and they were very friendly! I would highly recommend this place and if we had the time could easily see ourselves going back

One of the best places to eat in Albufeira. The staff is amazing. I've been there 6 times now and hope to visit many more times. Echt een goed restaurant.

Great choice of tapas, both vegetarian and seafood. The staff were great, there was two large groups on the terrace itself and they still managed fulfill the needs of everybody. The house red was excellent and reasonably priced. Recommend!

Locale con qualità superiore alla media, nella parte vecchia di Albufeira ma leggermente meno affollata. Dotato anche di un terrazzo all'aperto, con vista sui tetti della città. Personale gentile e molto simpatico, presente ma non invadente, professionale. Non molto ampia la scelta del menù, ma i piatti sono presentati molto bene. Prezzi medio alti. Consigliato.

The view from the roof top terrace is just of other roof tops. The food can only be described as inedible, what was to be a Sausage and Egg, was a mushy light brown thing, and a water egg, even the white was not solid, oh a stale bit of bread. What was supposed to be Sweet potato chips, where crip's also stale, and I'll not get started on the pickled with salt Prawns my wife was served. When I complained I was told this was Portuguese style, I have had many Portuguese meals I loved. This is a Chef/Owner gone off their head, go back to food rather than pretentious inedible mush.

We struggled in our time in albufeira to find good food outside of the crappy bars and restaurants on the strip. Olympique provided a lovely get away from that harsh tourist scene. Super friendly and accommodating staff were the first positive, however the food which followed was amazing. Good quality produce and meat, fantastic variety and flavours. For the foodie tourist this is a must do, would strongly recommend. If you want a reccomendation for what to eat, we strongly recommend the goats cheese starter, the confit duck leg and the fillet of beef. You will not be disappointed!!!

A notch well above the surrounding chaos of steak bars and sports pubs. We opted for a broad selection of tapas, all of which were amazing.
If you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced that serves good food and has attentive staff and management who care about your experience, then this place is for you.

Overrated tourist trap. Modern decor but overcooked pasta and frozen fish. Yeah, this must be one of the few places on the Algarve that tries to sell frozen fish bits as if they were fresh. Avoid.

Dinner is always suppose to be an enjoyable adventure. Olympique was just that. From when my party of 4.5 arrived, Cesar was not only charming, but just as communicative. Without reservations on a busy night, he was able to seat us within 20 minutes. Once we arrived at our table on the terrace, Sofia was waiting to serve bread and gather drink orders. Our waiter, Daniel was amazing as he explained the menu and was extremely patience as we decided our apps and entries. While Daniel was our main point of contact, the wonderful staff including Flor and Elizabeth were there to make sure our dining experiences was extraordinary. The food was amazing (please try the pasta, any one of them!!) with each plate on the table being devoured with my nephew's food arriving even before the apps!! The honey and goat cheese in the beginning was to savor with the perfect glass (or bottle) of wine. I rarely write reviews, but this staff and this food was over the top. Thank you for making Portugal a wonderful experience.

Mejor imposible. Encontramos este sitio por Internet y fue todo un acierto. En seguida te atienden y la comida es estupenda. Rompe con todos los restaurantes de comida basura que hay alrededor. La terraza es estupenda. Es un sitio para comer bien.

Beautiful views across the square. All the food was gorgeous. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However the restaurant became very busy and they obviously wanted rid of us even though we were there that long. They started trying to remove plates when we weren't finished. They did this three or four times. We left without dessert and I didnt leaving a tip. Its a shame.

Alles perfekt: zuvorkommender Service, super Essen schön angerichtet, guter Schmäh und positive Stimmung bei Team.
Tipps: Platz auf Terrasse für Blick auf den Platz, entweder reservieren oder bald genug kommen, wir hatten einen Mix aus Tapas und Vino Verde - grandios. Gehobene Preisklasse.

Nosotros cenamos en la terraza de arriba. Tiene buenas vistas de la ciudad. Lo que más me gustó la actualización de saxofonista en directo. La comida está bastante bien. Tiene también mesas dentro y una pequeña terraza a nivel de calle. Pero lo mejor es la de arriba.

Wir sind mehr oder weniger durch Zufall auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden, da es weitestgehend das einzige Restaurant war, vor dem niemand an der Tür stand und es angepriesen hat.
Wir waren zwei Mal hier essen. Die offene Küche hat uns besonders gut gefallen und das Essen war sehr lecker (Fisch ist sehr zu empfehlen). Der Service war unaufdringlich und aufmerksam.
Das Olympique setzt sich angenehm von den anderen Einheitsrestaurants ab.
Man kann sich nur wünschen, dass es so bleibt. Grüße an das gesamte Team, insbesondere an den netten Holländer.

If not the best then this is definitely 1 of the best little places to eat in the old town, amazing food, really lovely people, great atmosphere and we nearly went back the night after it was that good. I,'d recommend the risotto :) also the sangria was just gorgeous.

Nous avons testé les risotto et les mojito et tout était délicieux !! Le prix est peut être un peu plus élevé que dans les restaurants plus traditionnels portugais, mais ce qu'on mange change et est très fin !

Très bonne expérience au sein de ce restaurant choisi au hasard. C'est un semi gastronomique aussi attendez vous à payer plus cher que le plat moyen dans le sud du Portugal. Nous avons testé la sangria rosé qui était excellente ainsi que plusieurs tapas. Le risotto est divin !

The best restaurant in Albufeira by far! The staff are extremely caring and friendly, the food is exceptional and the location is great.
We tried to go on a Wednesday night but they were already closed, so the owner invited us to come next day and so we did. He invited us to some Prosecco for making us wait for 10 minutes until the table was ready, which is very nice from his side.
We had the best piri piri prawns there and the rest of the menu is amazing too. It is for sure good value for money. This restaurant is a must! I’ll definitely come back when I visit the city again!

Had a lovely dinner last night with our two kids. We ate inside as the rooftop was full but it was lovely and cool. Shrimp risotto really tasty as were the garlic prawns. Nice kids menu and they were so friendly to our children. Waitresses really made an effort & were and very friendly & so dinner was lovely & relaxed. Mojitos delicious too! On the pricier side but worth it in our opinion. We'll be back

Cozy restaurant in the center of Albufeira. The place is quite stylish and has an awesome rooftop. They serve all kind of food from tapas to main dishes. I recommend taking seafood as main dishes and the codfish croquetes. Very tasty! We will certainly come back.

Nice atmosphere, a bit more hip than other places. A lovely rooftop terrace with view over the city center. We really loved the tapas and risotto funghi - despite a major mistake from the chefs, but it can happen. They quickly made me a new risotto for free. I really recommend this place.

Un restaurent délicieux! Un serveur super gentil ( qui se débrouille bien en français) Les prix sont très abordable! Entre 6 euro50 et 16euro 50
Ils font de très bon mojito également ( 6 euro 50) Et il y a une une belle terrasse.
J’ai pris pour ma part le foie gras poêlé avec noix saint Jacques et des tapas chèvres miel avec un mojito mangue. J’en ai eu pour 25 euro.

Bediening is prettig. Wij bestelden tapas..
Wij hadden geen zin in de grotere gerechten.
Uiteindelijk een hele lijst tapas..maar veel met kaas. Jammer dat er niet wat meer warme gerechten met vlees of vis op stonden. Op het gekozen tapas plankje lagen grote brokken kaas..waarvan alles erg op elkaar leek. Afijn 4 a 5 gerechtjes genomen...maar nee...dit voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen..er is geen kok aan te pas gekomen. Alles uit verpakkingen zonder bereiding. Overdreven gezegd! Maar toch!
Wellicht bij andere keuzes op de kaart een betere recensie.. maar wat wij kregen was niet om voor terug te komen.

Locale molto carino con terrazza all’aperto sul tetto.
Personale gentilissimo, menù non molto vario, ma i piatti che ho preso erano tutti buonissimi tanto che sono tornato anche la seconda sera.
Locale non di massa ma raffinato ed elegante, cosa difficile da trovare in questa città.
Prezzi medio-alto.

Had a fantastic experience, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Cesar the maître for setting us up with a table on the roof terrace. . Food was very well prepared, cooked and served. Prices are very good - two people with a couple of starters, main dish and drinks - 51€. Not to mention the fact that it's located a bit outside of the main square and all the "tourism madness".

Meilleur restaurant au Portugal tout simplement dans un secteur ou faire de l'argent et flipper des tables est le seul objectif, chef Olivier se distingue avec des tapas et des vins que les serveurs peuvent décrire les producteurs. Wow quel belle découverte. On a eu la chance de manger à la nouvelle table en céramique ronde. Les premiers. Le tapas de Carpaccio de morue et celui de thon sont sublimes. Salade de Quinoa aussi. Même les olives sont délicieuses! Sardines sur lit de pâte de tomates c'est un must!!!

Stumbled across this small restaurant which had a gigantic class about it. From the outside I could see a roof terrace which stood out from the rest of the restaurants in Portugal. There were no special offers or neon signs which sohouted out sub standard food and watered down drinks.
Entered the restaurant at 4:15pm and could see the staff were enjoying a meal like a family before they started work which was nice to see. That set the tone throughout the course of our (myself and my girlfriends) experience at Olympique. We were very much welcomed into the restaurant which was nice as they weren't even open and I requested we sit upstairs as the temperature was a scorching 30 degrees on that particular day.
The service was very informative about the dishes and even was told where the wine was sourced from which made the whole dining experience very enjoyable.
Bread was served with the house special peri peri oil which is a home made recipe by Olympique. The whole dining experience we were lucky to stumble across was so good we returned 4 out of the 7 days we were in Portugal.
All the staff made us feel like family especially a waiter by the name of Thiago who gave exceptional service
It's a shame that Olympique is so far away as I would visit on a regular basis as it's one of the tastiest/friendliest restaurants I've ever been to.

Un lugar estupendo para cenar,con una terraza en la azotea con vistas a la plaza del pueblo.
Hemos cenado una atún marinado,bacalao ahumado de entrantes,y de platos principales un rape con jamón ibérico y cordero al horno acompañadas con unas patatas fritas,y acompañado con un vino dulce blanco.Unos de los mejores sitios donde hemos cenado en albufeira.Totalmente recomendable.
