Second Chef in 3 months and he's truly useless. Such a shame because we've been here maybe hundreds of times over the years. They had a young Muldovian chef at the beginning of the year and despite looking about 18 years old, BOY could he cook fish. In February, they changed to another eastern european chef and he's a total contrast - Rubbish. We gave it 2 goes in a week just in case it was an off night but trust me - this guy can't cook. They have also started using farmed and frozen fish, which this guy then overcooks along with the veg - honest review? Terrible. There are far too many good restaurants within 100 yeards to ever have to go back. By the way, by co-indidence, we have 3 different friends here who have formed the same view this year. Nice front of house staff though.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Very good food and very kind service. We ordered the salmon and the chicken piri piri. The included side dishes were very nice as well.

What an amazing meal. Lovely front of house attention. Food excellent fresh and tasty really top notch food lovely evening. One to return to.

I don't do reviews, but on this occasion I have made an exception. This restaurant is simply outstanding. The food was cooked to perfection and was simply delicious. The Ukrainian waiter was very friendly and efficient. Like many British people I prefer to eat early, so we were the first customers of the evening. This may explain why we were made to feel very special. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and without hesitation.

The best meal in Alvor by far. First class service. First class food. Will need to book. Go early and it's superb. 5*.

Très bon petit restaurant. Les plats sont bien présentés, beaucoup de saveurs. Les serveurs sont très souriants , professionnels, à vos petits soins. Nous recommandons.

I loved my veggie risotto and my husband said his chicken was amazing - the best meal out that he could remember in ages. House wine was fab too and we just found it for less than €3 a bottle! Will need to export a few bottles.

We have eaten in this restaurant every time we have visited Alvor over the past 8 years and the service and food is constantly great.

INCREÍBLE RESTAURANTE al que acudimos un grupo de amigos por recomendación de TripAdvisor y los comentarios de sus clientes ; Al llegar allí nos sorprendió gratamente, tanto por el propio local como por la atención recibida de sus empleados. La comida fue exquisita, y por supuesto calidad-precio totalmente razonable ; Además se encuentra junto a escasos metros del puerto de Alvor, por donde se puede pasear posteriormente por el paseo marítimo y disfrutar de la belleza de la localidad. Sin duda volveré a disfrutar de éste restaurante si tengo la oportunidad. Cómo único inconveniente es que hay que acudir con reserva previa, y la zona donde se ubica es totalmente peatonal, por lo que si se acude en vehículo propio es aconsejable acudir con tiempo. RECOMENDABLE 100%!

A wonderful atmosphere, excellent food and superb service. What more could you ask for in a restaurant. I definitely recommend eating here if you have the chance. Make sure to ask for Nick. He offers great stories and will make your visit worthwhile.

Quaint restaurant full of old world charm, extremely helpful staff and wonderful food at very reasonable prices ..... a real gem.
