Positive: Very clean room. Two windows on opposite aspects gave the room a lovely flow of air and light.. Negative: No dinner option and the nearest restaurant is 30 minutes away. After 8 days the breakfast was uninteresting and had no variety. No glasses in the room... Nor kettle even offered for tea or coffee.

Positive: L'accoglienza, ci siamo sentiti davvero come a casa di amici. Negazione: Non saprei, davvero.

Positiv: Ein tolles kleines Hotel, was man in einer so abgelegenen Gegend kaum erwartet. Sehr sorgfältig eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind groß und hoch, und von unserem Balkon aus sahen wir über die Maisfelder. Sehr nette Besitzer. Sprechen zwar kein englisch, aber wir haben mit Google-Translator richtige Gespräche geführt. Auf Wunsch erhält man ein sehr gutes portugiesisches Abendessen für 10 € pro Person inkl. Wein (Stand 2018), was persönlich für einen zubereitet wird. Der Hausherr saß bei uns immer mit am Tisch, da er meinte, wir sollen uns wie zu Hause fühlen. Hat das erst eingeschränkt, als noch andere Zimmer belegt waren, und er mehrmals abends essen und trinken musste ;-) Ein tolles Frühstück wird serviert, und zwar zu der Zeit, zu der man frühstücken möchte. Die Gegend ist etwas abgelegen, aber wir haben von unseren Gastgebern jeden Tag drei Tipps für Ausflüge bekommen, die allesamt gut waren. Insbesondere die alten historischen Dörfer sind wirklich sehenswert. Darüberhinaus hat der Ort auch einen sehr schönen Stausee mit tollem Wasser, in dem es sich sehr gut schwimmen und sonnen lässt. Leider hatten wir keine Rennräder dabei, denn die dünne Besiedlung in Verbindung mit den guten Straßen und keinem Durchgangsverkehr ergibt eine ziemlich ideale Situation für Rennradfahren. Wäre auch ein Ort für eine Trainingswoche..

Toda a casa está muito bem decorada, os quartos são muito espaçosos e acolhedores. A dona Rosário e o marido são espetaculares, fomos muito bem recebidos. O pequeno almoço muito delicioso, adorámos o sumo de pêssego acabadinho de fazer. Esperiência a repetir. Muito obrigado por nos terem recebido tão bem!

Casa decorada com muito bom gosto. Os proprietários são de uma simpatia beirã que nós vai claramente fazer voltar. E os sumos de pêssego são maravilhosos.

Um óptimo local para uma escapadinha, numa quinta reformada e ainda com plantação. Os quartos muito confortáveis e cheios de espaço, um pequeno almoço com muitos produtos locais de uma qualidade sem comparação. Fica só o aviso, o restaurante mais próximo é só no Fundão.

Positiva: Familia encantadora y muy servicial, habitaciones enormes, y lugar muy silencioso, ideal para descansar, rodeado de naturaleza, el desayuno muy rico, muchas gracias, volveremos sin duda!. Negativa: No hay sitios de restauración cerca, pero para nosotros no es un problema, entendemos que para tener esta tranquilidad hay que estar alejado de la civilización.

Positivo: Pequeno almoço muito bom e delicioso. Os ovos mexidos são 5***** pois as galinhas são caseiras. Localização ótima, em campo aberto, sem qualquer tipo de ruido citadino. Só se ouvem os pássaros e os cães da quinta que são umas doçuras de animais. Pontuação máxima para os donos da quinta que são de uma simpatia extrema. Positivo: Simpatia de todos os funcionários e o pequeno-almoço maravilhoso. Acordar e sentir o aroma a pão é qualquer de bom. A cama/colchão e o quarto estavam em óptimas condições. Casa de banho moderna e limpa. E a simpatia? Estava presente em todos os funcionários. Nunca é demais. A vista do quarto e divisões comuns convidavam a banhos de sol para relaxar. Zona tranquila e sem ruídos.. Negativo: Nada a declarar..

Positive: After we made our reservation, they called us and, as it was almost dinner time, gave us a really nice suggestion (around 20min away by car). After dinner we went back and Mrs. Maria welcomed us into an amazing living room with a fireplace. Actually, after leaving our luggage in our beautiful spacious room (with a big private bathroom and with double bed), we went back and had some drinks and an amazing talk with her! The place makes us feel that we are in our grandparents house but with a lot more of comfort! We really loved it! We also loved the breakfast, that Mrs. Maria and Mr. João prepared for us at our own requested time: we had fresh orange juice, fresh bread and croissants and fruit! There was also a homemade cake, cereals, etc. When we left (they kindly allowed us to leave at a convinient time for us), Mr. João had prepared some of their own vegetables for us to take home as we prefer to cook with organic vegetables... we made a big pot of great soup :D We felt at home there and will return for sure and we'll continue to tell everyone about this little paradise :).

Excelente local para se descansar. Adorei os momentos que por aqui passei, staff super acolhedor. E de verdade digo que regressei com uma cesta cheia de sossego conforto e tradição, desde o serão a lareira, o conforto e descanso do quarto e o pequeno almoço tornaram a nossa passagem pela quinta da capinha um fim de semana a repetir.

We stayed in this place for 3 nights and we were amazingly welcomed. The breakfast has very high quality. Freshly baked croissants, local bio fruit and the amazing Soalheira cheese. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the place is perfect if you need to rest away from the city noise.

Positief: De kamer is erg comfortabel en het balkon met de 2 ligstoelen heerlijk! Het ontbijt was het beste ontbijt wat we in 2 weken Portugal hebben gehad. En het superlieve echtpaar die de quinta runt maakt het verblijf helemaal af. Echt een aanrader!. Positive: Its in the middle of nowhere as expected just of a b road, no noice. The outside does not do the inside justice with high ceilings, spacious and super clean. Room also clean finished to a high standard.. Negative: A couple of improvements would be to spend a bit of attention to the rear garden with an old pickup and general old rubbish. And a vegan breakfast would be good but there was plenty of fresh fruit to compensate. overall very happy.

Chambre spacieuse, propre et nettoyée tous les jours, petit déjeuner digne des grands hôtels avec beaucoup de choix, la maman de la propriétaire est aux petits soins avec des gâteaux fait maison, des jus pressés frais. Environnement calme, relaxant, idéale. On s'y sent comme à la maison !

This is just one of those little diamonds we come across in our lives and one I am happy to have found. A truly beautiful guesthouse run by a beautiful family. The rooms are quite simply fantastic and something you would expect to be found only in the more expensive hotels or resorts. One of the many surprises are the dinners that can be requested, real home cooking that would blow any high class restaurant out of the water. As for it's location, simply put, the true peace and quiet of the countryside, but only a short drive from many historical places along with places of natural beauty.

Lovely people! Ive been received as a family member! Comfy room and tasty food. Its a must if you come to Portugal. Our language barrier didnt matters.

Les propriétaires sont des personnes merveilleuses et très attentives. Le lieu est dans un environnement magnifique et calme. Les chambres sont superbes et grandes qui valent un cinq étoiles. Le mobilier est neuf et parfait. Les pièces communes sont décorées avec grand goût et tout en détail. Depuis de nombreuses années de voyage c est la première fois que je note d un 10 sur 10.

The hotel is beautifully presented and cared for by a lovely family. The food was fabulous all week. I am a single man and so often its difficult to fill time in the evenings but the family made me so welcome I reluctantly left their company at bed times. Language was no barrier as Julia Fernandes speaks very good english and I did what I could in portuguese and french to fill any gaps. I will go back time and time again.

From the interesting story about the transformation of this generations-old family farm house into a 7-room B&B hotel, to restaurant recommendations to details about local points of interest and delicacies, Júlia was instrumental in our enjoyment of our visit to this region of Portugal. The unique décor, blending traditional Portuguese artifacts with modern settings and amenities, was extremely pleasant.
