Fabulous meal, very friendly and helpful staff, Ricardo is a wonderful host. We will definitely be visiting again. My father says its the best starter he has ever had and he is 79!!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Der Inhaber ist mega nett und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und überraschend günstig. Auch bei den Nachspeisen fällt die Auswahl schwer, weil alles so gut aussieht. 10 Sterne

Independent restaurant serving bistro-style food - pasta, steaks, fish etc. Service is friendly and eager to please. The main parts of all our meals were very tasty and cooked on-point. There are a couple of rough edges (I'd have preferred my orange slices to have been segmented from the white) but at least it proves it's handmade. Child friendly with small portion options and high chairs. On-site parking available too.

Hemos probado casi todos los entrantes y estaban deliciosos. La lasaña espectacular, a mi hijo le ha encantado. Muy acogedor y personal muy simpático.

Stopped here for a few drinks and the service was great, staff friendly and helpful.
So we thought we should have a bite to eat as all was great so far, ordered some tapas, which majority was cold or over cooked, seriously disappointing! As you can imagine we did not stay for a main meal!
Unfortunate as we where really happy until we got our starters/tapas.

Very good meal with our extended family on a patio which could have had slightly more shade but it was 35C with little breeze. Helpful patron and good value

Enjoyed a nice family meal here. The member of waiting staff was really friendly. The food was good but nothing very special. It was all fine....we are struggling to add more....cafe style burger, sea bass was tasty accompaniments were a bit bland, chicken was mainly chips and salad....sorry, would like to give it more as the waiter was so nice!!

Vores oplevelse var så absolut ikke værd at skrive hjem om: Dårlig mad, meget lang ventetid på maden(en time på forretter)stresset stemning og mad, der på ingen måde var veltilberedt.
Vi fik 10% af regningen “som et plaster på såret”, skal retfærdigvis siges. Vi var 10 afsted og ingen af os var imponerede desværre, selv om vi havde fået restauranten anbefalet.
Øv bøv vi kommer ikke igen og kan ikke anbefale stedet.
I øvrigt virkede stedet nusset og slidt.

Small cozy restaurant with quality food at a reasonable price. Adjoining is a nice bar with a roaring log fire in the cooler months.....great team great service

Decent beer €2.50/pint. Food very garlicky but that's not a bad thing; seems the Portuguese way...! Service can be a bit slow at times but we were in a big group so somewhat expected.

Boa área exterior para relaxar e apreciar um belo por do sol desfrutando de uma boa bebida... tem um bar bastante acolhedor e uma área para jantar e degustar de um saboroso menu de cozinha tradicional portuguesa com um toque escandinavo.

Nice and cozy place, chill music, very nice seating outside. Place is open late, even on Sundays. Food was very good quality, fish nicely done. Great service and fun menu. Good selection of vines.

Had an excellent dinner on the Deck. With live music, Tapas are also served if you just want a snack. Very nice, friendly and homely atmosphere.

Very impressed with this place and new management. Love the new lunchtime menu (fixed dishes during the week- except Tuesday as they are closed). €10,00 including a drink - even a glass of wine ;-)

Had a wonderful time with my family this evening here. Service was spectacular. They were so friendly and warm. Food was fantastic at very reasonable prices. Good overall atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out.

The New Fat Frog near the railway station in Almancil with new owners and a complete referb is a great place to spend an evening. The place has a completely new look and atmosphere. With daily specials and theme nights its becoming a place to visit when you are holidaying in the almancil area of the Algarve, The prices are very reasonable compared to the more expensive places nearer to the coast but the quality and service is excellent. Do yourself a favour and pay a visit !! You wont be disappointed :)
