This breakfast place was amazing!! The environment and atmosphere was simple but lovely and the staff were extremely kind. The food was delicious with a large variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch items for vegetarians and vegans as well. Amazing prices, would love to return next time I'm in Porto!

El sitio es pequeño y de decoración austera, pero merece la pena. El brunch es muuucha comida, rica y a muy buen precio. El café rico también. Quizás un poco lentos en servir, pero se nota que tratan el plato con esmero (y que son muchos ingredientes que colocar bonitos).

cool little spot to enjoy a nice toast centered meal and fresh juices and smoothies. The location is located on a nice street, and depending on the direction you arrive, it will provide a nice workout that will make you hungry. The interior is simple and bicycle themed in a way. The seating is fairly limited and could lead to a short wait for a table to open up. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and pleased to offer suggestions. The kiwi smoothie was delicious, the only complaint I could possibly make about it was that it wasn’t as cold as I would have liked. This location is not very accessible to those with mobility impairments due to the location being on a steep street. However, this will also vary depending on the mode of transport used to arrive. Overall, this is a nice cozy location to enjoy a beverage or food. Plus, there is Wi-Fi.

Found this spot on Yelp when I was looking for breakfast places near our Airbnb. So happy we were here! Everything on the menu (and on neighboring tables) looks healthy and delicious.
My husband had the royal brunch set. It was such a feast. He put the English muffin, bacon, scrambled eggs and avocado together in a breakfast sandwich to eat. I had a bite...it was sooo good! The set also came with salad with buckwheat, natural yogurt with seasonal fruit and ice latte caramel. I had their French toast! I loved everything.
I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Porto!

A lovely, cosy little cafe in Porto. A must try if you are vegetarian. Very healthy, delicious breakfasts available. Vegetarian options available and one could ask for meat to be removed from other options. The Quinoa bowl was delicious and so was the savoury waffle with avacados, cheese, tomatoes and balsamic.

Amazing food. I overlooked it at first but I am so glad we stopped at this great little place on the steep hill, away from the main tourist streets. The atmosphere is so laid-back and very big portions for the price, which imo is on the cheap side. The brunch I got was perfectly combined with different tastes and the right amounts. Highly recommend it.

We started our first day in Porto in hungry biker and it was really awesome! Although on the first glance it seemed expensive, it is totally fair for the variety and quality of food that you get! Both menus are super fresh and delicious!
But alhough the food is worth 5 stars, the waiting time can be really long. We arrived at the cafe 5 or 10 minutes before it opened and there were already people waiting outside. Since the cafe is not very big, many people who arrived later had to search for another place to have breakfast or wait outside.
You also have to be patient when you make it inside, because it takes some time to get your food - however it is worth waiting for it! :-)

My favourite breakfast spot in Porto. The food is just amazing. It's made from fresh ingredients, healthy and very feeling. The portions are very big so it's a good value for what you are paying for. The place has a pretty unique atmosphere - if you are a hipster or a cyclists you will love it. The service is very polite and quick. Definitely worth coming!

Gone to the place when it was busy. lady straight out initially told us they had no place and as an after thought said we could wait. We decided to wait and while browsing the menu we were asked to step out of the restaurant even though there was sufficient standing space inside. There is a difference between requesting and commanding. Being in the service industry please learn to be nicer to people!

Amazing place to have a healthy meal in the afternoon. Place is usually crowded in the brunch time.

It did not impress me, nothing special. Small space equipped with some narrow tables and benches. They asked me to have something quickly (I went the at 2 p.m and they was about to close at 4 p.m), I did not feel good.

Great place to have breakfast in the center - not just tosta mixta! They have porridge, eggs, bacon, quinoa bowl, waffles, smoothies and various toasts with different ingredients (avocado/peanut butter/ham and etc). it may be crowded, so be sure to wait 15-20 mins to get a table. They don’t do reservations.

Un desastre , fuimos desayunar mi pareja y yo, pedimos 2 cafés con leche y para desayunar 2 tostadas
2 cafes con leche ( 1 de ellos fue para la otra mesa , se equivocaron y al ver el error pasaron el café de la mesa equivocada a la nuestra )
Las tostadas fueron para mesa de al lado , al ver el error , cogieron el desayuno y lo pasaron a nuestra mesa
Por el descontrol nos regalaron unos zumos , al traer los zumos les pido un espresso , la chica se olvida de ello y al pagar en barra se da cuenta de su error y nos regala un espresso para llevar , no se lo acepte ya que fueron 3 gravísimos errores, una pena

Everything is ok, dont go with high expectations. The tofu toast was very bland, the tuna toast was overpowered by olives, the hungry waffle was best of our choices.

This place is very hipster with wooden crates for seats; it even doubles as a bike hire shop.
It is very popular for brunch so be prepared to wait up to 40 minutes outside to get a table for 4.
If you love avacado, you will love this place; it is in nearly every dish. I am not the biggest fan so i found their breakfast dishes not to my taste. My friends, however, loved theirs.
Presentation of the food is amazing: very instagramable.
I probably wouldn’t go back as it wasn’t my type of breakfast food, which is more along the lines of eggs benedict and eggs florentine. I wouldn’t, however, mark them down for this as it is more the case of personal preference. The service we received as good and the dishes were reasonably priced.

Very alternative place with nice recipie ideas for everyone one. Menu goes from healthy to tasty with good people. The most expensive drink would be the fresh made smoothies but it is worth it though the choices list could be larger ;-)
I definitely recommend the whole grain toast list for a quick but tasty healthy brunch. Personal is very friendly. Nice music, very clean place!

Super friendly staff and great variety of breakfast! (we went twice) although I really like the bakeries in Porto, this place has the perfect savory menu if you are in the mood for some avocado and eggs. The royal brunch is indeed, royal! We were full for a long time, which is perfect when you go for a bikeride. Be aware that it is very popular and you might need to wait 15-20min to be seated.

Super relaxed place - GFO and VEG options, feels like that hostels in Asia or South America, where you want to share and chat with other travellers, tasty everything ;-) and supernice stuff! Place is quite small, capacity is about 20 ppl, so it can happen you will wait a bit.

We LOVE this place. The portions are hearty, they have fabulous fresh food at reasonable prices. It’s so cute inside with all of the bike decorations and you can rent bikes as well. The staff are super pleasant and accommodating and spoke perfect eggs. Lots of vegan/ veggie options as well. We came back each day we were in Porto and will recommend it to everyone we know coming to this great city.

Excellent breakfast I ever try! It is really great and not expensive! Just look at the photo, it is so tasty as it looks like! For sure recommended for everyone. But take in to account that probably you have to wait for vacant table, as the place is really great!

A very nice little cafe in Porto, which does not offer many tables, but offers a great coffee and tasty brunch. We had the classic brunch and exclusive brunch, both very satisfactory. A combination of healthy options such as scrambled eggs, tomatoes, bread toast, and more ended up with a yoghurt and fresh fruit. Prices are reasonable, Portugal in itself is not that cheap. Recommended.

Greaaaat brunch in terms of taste and quality of the food.
But omg super long service. 20 minutes to finally have a coffee and maybe 40 to have my brunch. Even though the place was not full on, there was like 8/9 people before us.
Nice style but why keeping the cleaning stuff in the area where you are suppose to be able to see the cuisine? It just seemed messy....

Best coffee place in Porto. Friendly staff, WiFi, plugs, good tables if you are working with a laptop and amazingly tasty toasts and coffee ☕! They even lended us a bike chain to lock our bikes just right in front of the door! I wouldn't know what else to ask for. Fantastic place!

Great find! Super cozy, excellent staff, and delicious breakfast. All ingredients are fresh. We had the Royal Brunch Set which can easily be shared since the servings are generous. The latte and yogurt were also tasty! Come hungry for sure. You can also rent bikes here too. The place was full when we arrived (we were seated within 10 minutes) and it remained so for the entire hour we enjoyed breakfast.

Después de una mañana intensa recorriendo las bellas calles de Oporto, empezamos a buscar un restaurante para comer, nos encontramos que todos estaban cerrando o ya no cogían más gente, eran las 15 horas.
De casualidad vimos este lugar, desde el primer segundo llama la atención, decoración desenfadada y ecológica, asientos de madera, mesas construidas a base de palets. La carta también es peculiar, el lugar es perfecto para un potente desayuno/brunch.
En nuestro caso buscábamos comer, asique nos decantamos por dos tostas, ambas muy sanas, una de ellas vegana; como detalle curioso la camarera nos comentó que el atún era de lata, nos gustó su transparencia. La decoración en las paredes hace un homenaje a los ciclistas.
La comida estaba muy sabrosa y se notaba la calidad de los ingredientes. De postre pedí un yogur de frutas natural, buenísimo. El precio económico y las camareras muy simpáticas.
A priori no era la idea que teníamos para comer, no vas a encontrar un menú; pero la originalidad del local, la calidad de la comida, la atención recibida y el precio hacen que merezca la pena encontrarse con este local.

I've been there in october, for a small brake from my tour around Porto. I went there for a coffee but I wanted also something small to stop my small hunger, I haven't found anything for me to eat. Мой попутчик даже не дал сделать фото, а сразу начал уплетать) очень вкусно и по-домашнему! Готовили не быстро, но видно, что владельцы сами выбирают продукты, все свежее и качественное.
Бранч сет за 9.5 евро, тосты от 3 до 6 в зависимости от начинки. Рекомендую!

Были в пятницу в 10:30 примерно, полная посадка, столик довольно быстро освободился:) Девочки говорят по-русски, и даже вроде на кухне слышно было русские крики))) приятное обслуживание, большой выбор блюд для завтрака! Пробовали кашу, вафли и «классический завтрак»)) доесть не смогли, огромная порция, да и ещё йогурт в стакане:))

Mała kawiarnia z bardzo klimatycznym wystrojem. Mają tu bardzo smaczne tosty z niespotykanymi nigdzie w okolicy składnikami (np.: jogurt, tuńczyk, kapary, oliwki, orzechy, wiórki kokosowe - ok 5 € za 2. szt.). Oferują także spore zestawy śniadaniowe za około 11€, sok ze świeżych pomarańczy (2,50 €) i pyszną kawę espresso macchiato. Obsługa miła, kompetentna i anglojęzyczna.

Большой выбор полезной и вкусной еды, интересное сочетания ингредиентов , большой обьем напитков - то, что нужно для прекрасного начала долгого туристического дня. Девушки, работающие в заведении очень приветливы и обаятельный. Каждое утро на протяжении 5 дней мы посещали это прекрасное заведение и могли бы ходить сюда еще очень долго!

I mean the almost 5* speak for themselves. I can only add that the rating is well deserved. As soon as I've seen the pictures, I knew this would be a place I love.
We had the Royal Breakfast and the Fitness Toast. Both dishes tasted great - and looked great too :)
The place wasn't too crowded (luckily) and service was quite quick and friendly
So if you're looking for the possibly best breakfast in town, you must stop here.

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker. Dabei ist es vollkommen egal, ob man nun zum Frühstück, zum Brunch oder zum Mittagsessen kommt. Die frischen Waffeln, Toasts und das Porrige gehen einfach immer. Jedes Gericht ist mit Liebe und viel Kreativität zusammengestellt und angerichtet. Geheimtipp: unbedingt den frisch gepressten Orangensaft probieren :)

Really nice start of the day! In both of my 2 days in Porto I ended up eating breakfast here.
The Hungry waffle is a really nice choice for a salty treat, and I also tried the Raspberry jingle, hmm, what a delight! The idea of the soft grilled cheese - peppery avocado - sweet bizes of raspberry... Seriously good! Staff is sweet and kind. ❤️

Amazing breakfasts here; my friend and I shared a fitness toast with avocado and boiled egg, delicious, and a sweet homemade waffle, we got natural yoghurt instead of the ice cream. Everything was really tasty, fast service and friendly staff, nice background music too. We are starting the day with a full happy tummy.

atmosphere is great, the owner's are incredibly nice and prices are good. 10 euros for a breakfast plate that comes with eggs, bacon, tomato, beans, toast and a side cup of yogurt with fresh fruit.
i was disappointed in the savory waffle, the pairing was not great and there was too much going on.
other than that, i will be returning when in Porto!

yummy, abundant in size. expect this place to be full on weekends. if you’re looking for what this place is famous, don’t go with their standard brunch menus. Instead choose one of the toasts or waffles with topping. i had Vibrant served with ham, plum (a lot of it), spinach, cream cheese and lemon/honey dressing. the next time i’d do the one with avocado and raspberries. 4/5 because americano could be better

I don't usually recommend places to go for eating, but this was truly one of the best brunch cafes I've been to in the U.S., Korea, and else where.
The ingredients were fresh, abundant in amount, and just so beautifully and deliciously joined to make a wonderful dish. I had waffles with avocado and just having that much avocado was worth the money. I kept saying wow as I was eating it. I would go back if I had a chance.

I spent a month in Porto, and every day I started my day to the Hungry biker! Very cosy place. Perfect to begin the day in a wonderful city as Porto! The food is delicious and the portions are plentiful. The waitresses are kindly, smiling and make you feel at ease! Last but not least, the music is great and not loud! It perfectly accompanies your meal.

Delicious breakfast and brunch. Super friendly service and cozy vibe + we liked their relaxing playlist a lot :) Be aware though, the portions are very big – one must be very hungry or for two to share... Very high quality coffee like everywhere in Porto :)

Le lieu est top, déco épurée et originale. Nous avons goûté les tartines (avocat/œuf) et celle à la banane et au beurre de cacahuètes... J'en salive rien que d'y penser. Les brunch sont copieux et très bons. Allez y les yeux fermés! Nous sommes toujours arrivés à la "bonne heure" mais en quelques minutes cela s'est vite rempli.

포르토에서 우연히 간 카페...
일행 4명이 발길 닿는 곳으로 가다가다 커피 한 잔이 마시고 싶어 들어간 곳...구글을 쳐보니 생각외로 괜찮은 곳이였다. 점심식사를 하고 바로 간 곳이라 커피만 마시려고 했는데 디저트(?)아닌 디저트를 먹게 되었다. 커피에 얼음도 많이 주시고 디저트도 맛있었다. 무엇보다 카페 사장님이 너무 친절하시고 상냥해서 우린 다음날에도 갔는데..ㅜㅜ
저녁7시가 넘어 갔더니 문이 닫혀서 너무 아쉬웠다.돌아가는 발길에 사장님을 우연히 만나 반갑게 눈인사는 했지만...아쉬운 만남이였다.
다음 날 우린 리스본으로 가야했기에 더이상 갈 수 없었던 곳...다음 포르토 여행시 다시 한 번 꼭 방문해서 여러 음식들을 맛보고 싶다.

It is a TOTAL NIGHTMARE to get there and when you finally do, you run a risk of not finding a free table. Totally not worth the trouble of climbing a cliff for a nice sandwich. Staff could have been nicer. They saw how tired I was when I arrived and they did not even a glass of water.

Estaba bueno aunque nada del otro mundo y el precio típico para un sitio de este estilo, dos platos y dos bebidas 17 euros . Las camareras no eran excesivamente simpáticas y tardaron mucho en sacar los platos. El bar es pequeñito y si no vas pronto se forma mucha cola. El batido fue horrible, tenía todas las pepitas del kiwi y mucho grumo haciéndolo incluso incómodo para beberlo. Nosotros no volveríamos...

Sehr schönes kleines Cafe/ Bistro unscheinbar gelegen und präsentiert. Eventuell sollte man etwas Zeit mitbringen da es äußerst gut besucht ist. Die Einrichtung schafft ein sehr tolles Ambiente. Man hat die Möglichkeit auf Barhockern, Sofas oder kleinen Tischen mit Bänkchen zu Speisen. Das kulinarische Angebot ist Wahnsinn. Frisch, Gesund und gut sättigend. As great as the pictures look of the food here believe me when I say they do this place no justice!
Quality food, reasonable priced (about 10 euros for my meal and a latte) and the presentation is top notch and very functional.
The wait to get my order took maybe 15 min, which is apparently a long time here because the server brought me a complimentary smoothie and apologized for the wait.

This is a breakfast/brunch place with your health in mind. The ingredients are good quality and tasty and all breads can be substituted for gluten free at an additional charge. It is not the most affordable place, but you get high quality food. It is small and cosy, but large groups might have problems finding a table if it is busy. If you want a delicious healthy brunch, this is the place to go.

I came here for brunch. They stay busy so you may have a short line but tables turn over fairly quickly by comparison to some places.
The brunch was excellent. I had the hungry avocado waffle. Savory and delicious. Also the avo toast was excellent. The combination of flavors, care in assembly, and presentation are all 5 stars. Service is great.
They are clear on what they charge you for your food.

We went to Hungry Biker for brunch and it was the best brunch place from all the places we went to in Porto, Sintra, Belém and Lisbon. The food was excellent and they had vegetarian alternative if you didn’t eat meat. It wasn’t just removing the meat item without replacement, like some brunch places had done. The service was fantastic as well. However, there is a short queue, but I would personally rather queue to eat at a nice place than at an empty restaurant with questionable food choices.

Hungry biker already became an iconic place. With no doubts it should be included in the list of places “must visited” in Porto. Believe me, here you will have an amazing breakfast - big portions, great taste, perfect coffee and friendly and fast service, this combination will make your day! Longest line up ever but definitely worth it. We loved the smoothies (one vegan and one with yogurt) and tried the avocado and boiled egg on toast. I asked to have a dairy free one and mine was bland. My husband on the other hand loved the toast. I would definitely come again. Especially since they have dairy free and vegan options.

Many tourists, but great food. Had the largest brunch on offer and left very satisfied due to high variety, quality and quantity of the food :)

My wife enjoyed the iced caramel latte and the fitness/avocado. My Royal Brunch set was also great. Nice ambience - decor and music. Good service. Nothing to complain about and lots to like. Obrigado

I had the “fitness toast” and was very underwhelmed. The bread wasn’t really toasted, so no crunch and not warm, and it didn’t include pesto as the menu advertised so the only real flavor was the balsamic drizzle, which was overpowering. The decor style also doesn’t really create ambiance.

Hands down the best breakfast I have had in Portugal. I had the Royal Brunch and my wife had the normal brunch. Wow a mountain of food came. Seriously!
Royal
- eggs
- bacon
- avocado
- salad with buckwheat
- jam
- butter
- yogurt with a ton of fruit
- coffee
- orange juice
- toast and an Azorian crumpet
The basic one was pretty similar but with Parma instead of bacon, a bun and cheese instead of avocado.
Great fast service, super nice staff, clean and funky restaurant. It does get busy so get there and claim your seat.

Hipster Cafe (nicht böse gemeint) mit guten gesunden Speisen. Ist immer voll gewesen. Die Auswahl ist ok und lecker. Die Vorbereitungszeit des Frühstücks war immer lang. Alles in allem eine gute Location um den Tag zu starten

Such an amazing place, it's very small and easy to miss because the door is closet because of the noise outside, so don't think it's close when you see the door closed, try to push it!
The food it extremely good in my opinion...
We were two and ordered 5 meals haha...

An outstanding place to have breakfast. The coffee is excellent and the brunch is sufficient to fuel you throughout the day. The service and the atmosphere aren't lagging as well. Highly recommended.

Nos habían recomendado este sitio y tenía ganas de ir y el hecho del que el Royal Breakfast incluyese bolos lêvedos era un extra.
El desayuno es variado y generoso: café, limonada, dos bolos lêvedos, huevos revueltos, beicon crujiente, aguacate, ensalada, mantequilla y mermelada.
El beicon estaba perfecto, los huevos suaves y cremosos y la mantequilla deliciosa. Y bueno es que los bolos lêvedos me encantan y estos estaban muy buenos también, así que perfecto.
El sitio estaba lleno y el servicio fue un poco lento. No sé si es lo habitual, pero 15' para un café y 30' para la comida es mucho rato. A parte del tiempo que tardamos en coger mesa (el sitio es pequeño ) y en que nos tomasen nota. Es la única razón por la que no le doy cinco estrellas.
Ojalá no mueran de éxito porque la verdad es que la comida es genial.

What a lovely place - we went there for a second (real) breakfast during our weekend trip to Porto and it’s been absolutely wonderful.
I went for a porridge and my girlfriend got one of the sandwiches.

Conceito jovem e decoração em voltado para o mundo biker. Fomos atendidos pela Maria, ela foi muito simpática e divertida. Pedimos um brunch e um almoço. Brunch: ovos mexidos, presunto Parma, pão, feijão. Almoço: mexilhões, salada, pão , sopa e vinho. Foram combinações fantásticas e muito saborosas, percebemos com a qualidade preparam os pratos. Adoramos o atendimento (que carisma e simpatia), qualidade e experiência. Indico muito o lugar.

Um restaurante com conceito mto jovem e decoração em torno das bikes rsrs. Fomos atendidos pela Maria que é russa e está aprendendo português. Mto simpática e divertida. Pedimos um brunch e um almoço. O brunch vem com ovos mexidos, presunto Parma, pão, feijão (diferente né? Mas delicioso). O almoço vem mexilhões, salada, pão , sopa e acompanha vinho. Estava uma delícia e os ingredientes de qualidade. Amamos, vale mto a pena e ainda aproveite para uma troca cultural com a Maria.

To my luck it wasn't crowded. So I've got my breakfast in peace and quiet. The place is very 2010. If the guys keep the style for another 5 years - it will feel almost nostalgic. But in this it is sort of consistent and cute. As others mention here - it is pretty slow on serving. So, don't expect a quick grab. On the positive side the WiFi is fast enough to stream some videos and sockets are placed next to se seats. Clean, polite and not shaped for tourists who just want "something Portuguese".

I liked the latte, only one -regular size. Anyway tastes good. You'll never find the same fillings on Brussels waffles in Brussels. I wish I could taste'em all. Be ready that waffles can be cut in halves.

Service was very very slow!!! We waited almost 1h to have toast, 2 coffee and a waffle plate. Plus we didn't even get it at the same time so we had to eat 1 plate at a time. It's too bad because waitress was really nice and food was good, but she was alone for making coffee, serving, cleaning tables and doing the cash... They should have been 2 on the floor and they would have got a 5 star...

It is a great place for a brunch or a breakfast. The menu is both tasty and beautiful. I totally recommend it for a visit. you can rent a bike here which is also cool, because Porto is a great city to be discovered.
