Nous recherchions un restaurant près de notre hôtel (BO Marquês). Nous avons repéré l'Arpego sur TripAdvisor. Quelle bonne surprise! C'est exactement le genre d'endroit qu'on rêve de trouver grace à ce genre de site! Déco de très bon goût, j'ai adoré le grand canapé jaune et les murs en pierre. Accueil et service extra-gentil. Un jeune homme généreux en explications et en sourires, avec qui la conversation est des plus sympathique. Nous sommes des amateurs de gastronomie. Et la cuine a L'Arpego vaut la peine d'être dégustée, c'est moi qui vous le dit! Inventive et respectueuse des produits frais. Originale, gourmande et sans fioritures à la fois! Féminine, surprenante et authentique! À deux (entrées, plats, desserts, cafés, 1 bouteille de vin) pour 70€. Imbattable au niveau rapport qualité +++, prix. Le menu change au fil des saisons. Je recommande vivement et espère une belle réussite à ce nouvel établissement!

Des plats excellents et très originaux. Avez-vous déjà goûté une purée à la vanille ? Ce restaurant à vraiment été une belle découverte. Je l'ai tellement apprécié que j'ai mangé plus qu'à ma faim... À découvrir !

We were in Porto just for 2 days and the last night we would have liked to have dinner not so far from our B&B... We found this beautiful small restaurant and we were really satisfied of our choice: all we had was fresh prepared and delicious. The dishes were a wonderful combination of smells and tastes. Really enjoyed and highly suggested.

O lugar é charmoso e tem um bom espaço. A comida não surpreende, mesmo tendo esse objetivo. O restaurante não é flexível em relação aos ingredientes, o que atrapalha muito. O estabelecimento se propaga sendo mais do que realmente é, saí muito insatisfeito. Infelizmente minha experiência não foi nada boa. Cordialmente, Lino.

Espaço muito bem decorado e acolhedor, confortável. Staff simpático e disponível. Sem dúvida que o ponto alto foi a comida, que é extremamente bem confeccionada e absolutamente deliciosa. Provei ovo com queijo de cabra e castanhas, cavala com lima, peixe espada preto grelhado com molho de peixe e batata doce cordeiro estufado com puré e para sobremesa arroz doce com pera e frutos secos e bolo de chocolate quente com gelado de caramelo. Tudo estava maravilhoso. Os preços são simpáticos também. Recomendo!

Para quem não conhece,atreva—se a entrar neste restaurante a meio da Rua de Santa Catarina. O espaço,serviço e criatividade na cozinha são mais do que suficientes razões que me fazem voltar,sempre que vou ao Porto.

Restaurant exceptionnel. Les mets sont délicieux, les associations audacieuses et délicates. Une cuisine tout en finesse . Bravo au chef ou plutôt à la cheffe ! Le service est aussi à la hauteur ! We hebben genoten van de heerlijke en met liefde bereide gerechten. En wat een gastvrije en vriendelijke bediening. Ook de wijn was verrassend goed.

“Porque APEGO?”, alguém perguntou (soube instantaneamente que me arrependeria de não ter perguntado primeiro) – “Porque é uma palavra que me ficou no ouvido” respondeu a chefe. Passei o jantar todo a pensar nisso, a pensar como Apego fica no ouvido, e como o sabor de todos aqueles maravilhosos pratos me iam ficar na memória. Voltemos ao início, Apego é um restaurante pequenino no meio de uma tumultuosa rua no centro da cidade. Assim que entramos somos arrebatados por uma ambiente casual mas ao mesmo tempo sofisticado. Que mistura cores e texturas…. De sons e sabores…. A chefe prima pela criatividade em todos os pratos, e colocou também esse pedacinho de si neste espaço, idealizado por ela e concretizado pela mesma com ajuda da família. Daí APEGO. Os sabores são maravilhosos, arrebatadores…. Tiraram-me completamente da minha zona de conforto… O puré de castanha com ovo escalfado e queijo de cabra acompanhado com castanhas e diospiros, pela criatividade. A pescada com feijoca e molho de peixe e o frango recheado com agrião e acompanho com cevadinha pela simplicidade. E as duas sobremesas da noite, uma pela irreverencia e outra pelo aconchego. O irreverente gelado de noz com crocante, figos e regado com azeite e mel e o aconchegante (e meu predilecto) bolo de requeijão com amêndoas e pêssegos em calda de lúcia lima!!!!!!! Fica o Apego aos sabores, e ao espaço……….. Que noite magnifica, obrigado ao @ZomatoPortugal e obrigada a chefe por esta oportunidade!....

The evening that we visited this amazingly delicious restaurant we were served by 2 wonderful ladies who gave us an unforgettable experience! The food was original and visually enticing. My favourite discovery was the butter we were served with bread, It was a paste mixed with crushed toasted bread butter and sea salt, initially I thought it was some sort of olive tapenade cause it was a dark color but when I found it consisted of only 3 ingredients I was in shock! What a genius chef! Bravissima!!!

We came here for the brunch, which happens once a month, and it was absolutely sensational! Every flavour was so delicately balanced and the combination of ham, egg and houmous with a herby salad was exceptional!

Sehr liebevolles Restaurant mit leckerstem Essen und Getränken. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und die passende Musik läuft auch. Die Karte ist überschaubar, was aber absolut kein Kritikpunkt sein soll. Für uns ein absoluter Geheimtipp!

We had a wonderful time in this restaurant and the food is worth 5 stars ! The waiter was really nice, the cheffe is really talented. Next time we come to Porto we will return without hesitation !

This was by far the best meal we had in Porto, a city with wonderful food, and probably one of my top restaurants in the world. It strikes the prefect balance between really high-end, unique dishes, that are served in an approachable and fun manner. They also had a phenomenal wine list with great natural wine options, which is still quite hard to find in Portugal. Can't wait to visit again on my next trip to the city!

Great little local restaurant. The service was very good and personable, the good was very well prepared and very good quality. I would definitely go back.

We spent an excellent evening in this restaurant. The menu is simple and seems to change regularly. The food is excellent and the cheffe highly skilled. All the dishes we tried were perfectly mastered with original flavour associations. The waiter was passionate and friendly. Finally the ambiance is cosy and pleasant. Definitely a must go in Porto, we'll come again on our next stay without a doubt.

I live! How much joy good eating can bring! Love the concept of the menu: three starters, three main courses, three desserts - quality beats quantity. Cozy and familiar; special thanks to the 'waiter' (was he a waiter, a host, a mc or a friend? Maybe all of this!) who explained every dish and had also time for a friendly Chat. It was a pleasure to be there.

어쩌다 찾은 맛집.한국인 한명도 없었습니다.현지분들만 있었습니다. 영어메뉴 있고 직원분 영어 잘합니다.가격은 정말 싼 편은 아닙니다. 메인 17~18정도고 스타터 5 정도하는데, 맛있습니다.네 맛있어요. 매번보는 블로그 맛집은 똑같은 포스팅만 수십개인데 이런곳을 포스팅해야된다고 생각합니다. 안타깝지만 샹그리아는 없었습니다.디저트도 맛나요.8시 30분쯤 갔는데 사람 많이 없었습니다. 직원분도 친절합니다.요리 나오면 하나씩 설명 다 해줍니다. 다시와야지..

This is truly a gem of a place! The decor and ambiance is very tasteful with warm muted elegance. The server was warm ,helpful , and clearly passionate. The food is wonderful! Unique well balanced flavors, and fresh ingredients. Really delicious. An easy 5 stars. Would come and again when in Porto.

My first time in Porto. The restaurant was across the street from our rented apartment and we spotted it. When I read the reviews I was surprised by the scarcity of the angry one star reviews usually from people with no objectivity. After tasting almost literally every item on the menu ( 4 people with 3 appetizers, 2x2 mains and 3 desserts) I can attest to the outstanding quality and taste. Factor in the reasonable price and you have a first class restaurant. Total check euro 118 including taxes with drinks and coffee. Waiter was super nice and took the time to explain the ingredients in every dish in English. Highly recommend

Nous y avons dîné à l'occasion du réveillon. Un menu était proposé. Les plats étaient tout simplement exquis, fins, raffinés, frais, goûtus ! Le service était parfait, et le prix plus que correct ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, vos papilles vous remercieront !

Nous avons dîné le 31 décembre 2019. Un dîner très agréable avec des plats originaux et d une très grande finesse. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable.

Very high standard cuisine! The food is just incredible, the delicate touches made the world of difference. The tortillas with chestnut cream and pork is a MUST! As well as the slow cooked lamb, highly recommended. The deserts were not so sweet, they were perfectly light, which for me is perfect to finish a meal. André is so sweet and polite he explained all the dishes and recommended amazing places for us to go. It's been a long time since I went to place where the staff were friendly. We didn't get the chance to meet the chef in person but we could feel her passion for what she does through the dishes. I am just sad that I need to return to Barcelona knowing there is no place there like Apego. Do not hesitate to try!

Great atmosphere and the best food. We were here 1 year ago and so happy Apego still going. This is top quality food and the chef is an artist with her food. If you are in Porto you must come to this awesome restaurant.

Fabulous meal and ambiance of the blonde wood and sandstone decor is charming. Fresh local seasonal veggies combined with delicate sauce were a hit with us. The roasted lamb was flavourful and melted in your mouth. Best ravioli ever!

I wish we could try all those chef-d'oeuvres from the other reviews and be fascinated by the delicate mix of flavours and textures, but sadly that didn't happen. The waiter was abruptly arrogant, he treated us like we were little misbehaving children, so we left without ordering anything. Come on, man, why so serious? Very disappointing.

We have been disappointed for the most part in Portugal restaurants so far on this trip so when we found this one online we decided what the hell let's give it a shot. Well we were not disappointed and discovered this fine gem in a rather boring neighborhood. But don't let it fool you this place is both beautiful and of a simple design once inside. The food is delicate and yet full of flavor. Most Portuguese food is just bland meat and potatoes - boring. So finding a place that does creative food combinations and that only three appetizers and three entrees are offered is a real culinary treat. That speaks to the quality of the chef daily decision. It works. The menu changing daily so while I could rave about the ravioli or my shredded lamb it may not be on the menu the night you show up. But whatever your three choices are you will be pleased. YUM.

When in Porto, you must visit this fantastic establishment! Chef Aurora creates each dish with fresh, local ingredients and lots of love and creativity! I savored every bite and can guarantee any selection you make will be scrumptious! The wine selection is representative of the nearby Douro region and beyond. I was also very impressed by the server, André, who effectively held down the fort, singlehandedly, during the dinner service! The decor is also warm and evokes a neighborhood perhaps overlooked for sometime in this part of Porto. I personally appreciated the location as it os away from the touristy part of the city. Make reservations in advance as it is a small and cozy place! I’m certain you’ll love it here!

La verdad es que APEGO ha sido todo un descubrimiento en nuestra visita a Oporto, entramos casi de casualidad y sin tenerlo muy claro, pero pronto se disiparon todas nuestras dudas... El trato fue estupendo desde el primer momento, una carta cortita pero con mucho sabor y buen hacer. Probamos el cerdo con almejas, el brioche con verduras de temporada y de postre un queso de vaca curado acompañado de vinos de Oporto, espectacular!!! Claramente un sitio para repetir. Muy recomendable!!!

Salutiamo Porto andando a cenare da Apego, un localino intimo e ricercato che ci è stato consigliato da una persona del posto Cibo fresco e veramente buono, combinazioni di ingredienti particolari e fantastico vino. Non potevamo concludere questa prima tappa del viaggio in Portogallo in maniera migliore

Coup de coeur pour ce restaurant! Si vous êtes à Porto c'est un passage obligé! Le menu déjeuner à 11€ est délicieux, et le soir c'est toujours aussi bon : des produits frais très bien cuisinés! Un délice digne d'un restaurant gastronomique!

Przeceniona restsuracja. Przy kompletnym menu cena ca. 40€ za osobę to dużo za dużo jak na ten poziom. Kelner ubrany na sportowo. Wtyka niemal palec do potrawy aby opisać składniki. Przy próbie wzięcia serwetki spod sztućców, pospieszył z wyjaśnieniem, że do ryby używamy innych sztućców. Na pytanie, czy wino które przyniósł jest słodkie, zaczął tłumaczyć, że Porto nie pije się do posiłków. Za tą cenę zjemy na dużo wyższym poziomie np w Niemczech. Jak do tej pory pierwszy raz się zdarzyło, aby punktacja Google była nieadekwatna do zaoferowanej usługi.

Das ist ein Gourmet-Tempel, 2 junge engagierte ideenreiche Leute kochen und erklären göttliche Kreationen. Die Welt des Portweins übrigens noch nie so schlüssig erklärt gekriegt wie hier. Ein kleines edles Lokal.
