Place was extraordinary,the place was so clean and the waiters were attending us so well and the food was up to expectations as it tastes the same as if i was in an asian country.Only thing is i felt the price was slightly expensive as i think it could be less abit but it is a place worth visiting.Will be back soon next holidays

This place serves just amazing food. Was lucky enough to also visited their sister venue in Lisbon and consistency wise they are both just amazing.
Great service, food and value ! Food is tasty, service is great. Cannot recommend enough.

Um dos empregados um balofo colocou se atras do carro quando tentamos estacionar à porta. O meu marido quase o atropelou. Saiu do carro para o interpelar e nem uma palavra. Nisto aproximou se um carro que queria ficar com o lugar. Tambem nao responderam sequer ao meu marido. Puseram se com ar ameaçador. São todos asiáticos nem um português. No interior fomos super mal atendidos. Apesar dda reserva nao deram a mesa que pretendiamos. Trocaram o pedido. Demoraram imenso a servir. Sempre a rirem se de nos. No final a conta. 82e duas pessoas. Uma fraude.

BOA-BAO is a beautiful Asian restaurant, from the decoration to the dishes. Here you can really dive into the Asian food world. Try the Chinese beer, if not their cocktails are also very good looking. The staff was really welcoming and very helpful with the choose of the dishes. Awesome experience and so far the best concerning Asian culture in Porto.

Restaurant et bar a cocktail. Tout en long, magnifique, nous y sommes allé pour boire un verre, a l’intérieur le serveur vous donne un me carte d’embarquement et vous dirige vers le bar au fond de ce restau aux allures de maison asiatique, on passe devant une grande cuisine ouverte, pour arriver devant 2barmen souriants, et soucieux de votre confort.
C’est a faire ! On y retourne surement ce soir pour aller y manger :)

An excellent pan-Asian restaurant that serves a large selection of authentic dishes, cooked by Asian chefs. There is even a separate menu to cater for vegetarians/vegans. An awesome selection of cocktails and 'mocktails' and great service. The decor and atmosphere inside the restaurant is outstanding. Our host when we visited, Arun, provided an exemplary service. Even if you don't want to eat, it is worth visiting for the cocktails alone!

A perfect place for Asian food in Porto! Both the style and the service are impressive.The staffs speak perfect English. We ordered a beef pho and a Tum Yum soup with rice noodles. The noodles are soft and the broth is authentic (actually slightly lighter than what you usually have in southeast Asia, but as a Chinese, I actually like this lighter version better).The sauces and the spices are almost the same as what we have in Asia. The only difference is that it seems they do not put mint leaves in pho (they gave us some leaves though. Don't know what they are. Not good at recognising leaves. lol). Really like this place so much!

Bien mais honnêtement rapport qualité prix c'était vraiment exagéré. Ex les calmars fris a 9€ vraiment ordinaire alors quil y en a même pas assez pour une personne.. lendroit est wow mais on paye très cher pour lambiance plus que pour la nourriture malheureusement

Excellent restaurant with delicious menu! The options are very varied, and the flavor of all dishes is there. We tried the baos, the ramen, the fried rice, and different appetizers and it is definitely one of the best restaurants for Chinese food in the area.
The concept is very interesting, with great cocktails and very cool looking menus, as well as beautiful decoration in a warm setting. The staff was very nice and we would come back again (actually we did... twice in the same week).

A separate vegan menu was great! Food was great. I had the vegan pad Thai and spicy lemonade. Would definitely go back. Service brought it to a 4 star instead of 5. No one came back after we got our dinner except to clear the plates.

Estava à espera de mais. O restaurante tem fama e por isso a comida dececionou um pouco. Comemos uns dim sums normalissimos na entrada e depois um arroz frito com frango e uma massa com camarão. Sabores muito parecidos com ter ido a um wok mas a pagar 3x mais. Na sobremesa um leite creme com saber a manjerico que estava ok.
O atendimento foi muito bom. O espaço é engraçado mas tem o problema de ter as mesas em cima umas das outras. Privacidade zero para aproveitarem ao máximo o espaço.
Pagamos aprox 30 euros por pessoa. Pareceu 2x mais do que o valor justo.

Too expensive for what you get. We ordered tom yam kung and one big beer. The big beer cost 3€ and was around 0,3l. The broth of the tom yam was good, the portion was big but it disappointed me as an Asian when the rice noodle was hard and dry. They probably not use fresh rice noodles. The staff was friendly though.

Visitei hoje finalmente este espaço depois de várias tentativas. Modas...restaurantes diferente realmente mas demasiado caro para o produto que é servido. 91,5 € para jantar 3 pessoas sem beber álcool é demasiado. Nada do que veio para a mesa tem um preço de custo que justifique estes valores. Ouvi falar muito bem dos cocktails mas 10 euros por cocktails é preço elevado até para as casas de cocktails que existe na zona (é a minha área). Vale pela experiência não merece repetir!

Increíble el sitio. Comimos en la barra de la cocina. Si, la ropa acaba oliendo a frito pero merece la pena verles trabajar!. Tomamos los dim-sum vegetarianos, bao de pescado y pad thai y muy bien de sabor todo. Cocktails pedimos el cocooned y el lych me up y estupendos. Mención especial al creme brulee de postre y sobre todo a nuestro host Akira, un hombre top que nos atendió fenomenal!!! Para volver sin dudar!!!

Entramos de casualidad y nos sorprendió. Local enorme ambientado para transportarte a un mercado vietnamita, con una decoración cuidada hasta el último detalle. Tuvimos que esperar bastante pero la comida mereció mucho la pena.

O conceito do sítio também é muito engraçado e funciona bem.
As mesas são efetivamente muito juntas o que corta um pouco a privacidade das conversas que podemos ter, mas é um mal menor. Recomendo e voltarei a visitar.

Really good place to have dinner at. The service by the manager when we wanted to make a reservation was impecable and friendly. We ordered some duck guao baos as a starter. For our main course we order a curry with shrimps and pad thai. All three dishes were extremely good, nice techniques, flavors, taste and aroma. If you are in Porto or Lisboa don't miss the opportunity to go here. Hopefully, they invite me for such a nice review hahah :)

쌀국수는 하나에 15유로정도라 저렴하지는 않는데 국물 먹고 싶을 때 가면 진짜 너무 좋아요!
저는 두번 방문해서 한 번은 볶음밥도 먹었는데 맛있었어요!
메뉴판같은 소품도 귀엽고 인테리어도 깔끔하고 서버들이 기본적으로 친절합니다!

Péssima experiência! O caril verde foi o pior que já comi, o satay igual. Pratos frios e distantes daquilo a que estou habituado. Nem thai nem Indonésio. Ambiente agradável sim, mas o empregado não sabia explicar os ingredientes dos pratos ou a ementa. Estragou-me o jantar de aniversário, ninguém gostou! Não recomendo.

I am from Hong Kong and I due to 2 weeks closure of Hong Kong Palace we had no choice but to come here,
It was really clean upon entering the premises until I seen the chefs which were locals not Chinese!
There was no Chinese people in the whole premises!
We ordered Dim sum combination costs 8 euro for 6 pieces ! I can tell you that it was cooked from frozen, overpriced, small portions not Hong Kong Dim sum. You can buy better quality frozen and costs less. The main main we had beef rice noodles. This was really badly stir fried because it was sticky and salty over cooked with bits of beef.
Overall this is mire if rebranding of Chinese food.
For proper Chinese food you need Chinese chef preparation not locals

Excelente restaurante. Os sabores asiáticos estão todos presentes. Menu variado, não demasiado extenso, mas com os principais pratos presentes. Decoração do espaço está muito bem conseguida. Staff super profissional e atencioso. Serviço rápido. Aconselhável fazer reserva, pois é um restaurante muito visitado.
Fiquei extremamente bem impressionado e voltarei certamente.

What an incredible place. One of my highlights in Porto! Firstly food was delicious and I satisfied my cravings for Asian food and what's really great is that there is a little separate set of vegetarian menu, so don't hesitate to ask the staff for it! So food was fresh, delicious. They have also nice set of drinks and you can count on the recommendation the stuff can give you. Finally nice ambience and friendly, joyful and knowledgeable stuff. When I'm back to Porto for sure I'll be back to Boa-Bao as well. Guys good luck and keep running this nice place with joy.

The food was so enjoyable that we went on two evenings while in Porto. Go early or you will be sitting extremely close to those next to you. Our only complaints were that it was extremely warm in the restaurant even in winter and the tables are too close. Removing a table on each side would likely make it noticeably more comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

인테리어가 굉장히 고급스러운 중국풍이고 깔끔합니다.
와규 바오 만두를 시켰는데 애피타이저로 제격입니다.
메인메뉴인 쌀국수도 괜찮고 팟타이는 더 맛있었습니다.
고수는 기본적으로 빼고 서빙되고 필요하면 달라고 하면 많이 가져다 줍니다. 땡큐.
단 하나의 단점은 너무 비싸요!!!!

Nous avions déjà testé ce restaurant cet été et avons voulu y retourner en février. C’est confirmé, on adore. La déco est originale, le restaurant est tout en longueur.
L’accueil est rapide et efficace, et on nous demande systématiquement si on a des allergies ou des contre indications. Nous avons eu un serveur qui parlait anglais, puis un autre qui parlait français, et était très souriant.
Les rouleaux de printemps sont frits, comme des nems, et sont délicieux. Les bouchées vapeur, le riz gluant et le riz à l’œuf et au poulet aussi. Nous n’avons pas testé les desserts, on n’y manquera pas lors d’un prochain voyage.
L’addition est un peu plus chère que les restos habituels à Porto mais très raisonnable par rapport aux prix français (51,50€ pour trois, sans dessert). En revanche, la table est vite débarrassée, il y a du monde derrière, c’est la rançon du succès. On serait bien resté un peu, rien que pour l’ambiance et la déco.

아시아음식이 너무 먹고싶어서 찾아갔는데 쌀국수는 내입에는 조금 짜서 국물을 많이남겼고 팟타이는 맛있었으나 가격이 15유로정도로 비싼편이다. 계산할때 거스름돈을 15분 넘도록 안가져다줘서 다시 얘기해서 그제서야 받음. 왜 그렇게 오래걸린건지 궁금함.

Llamé a este restaurante para pedir reserva y me dijeron que los sábados no hacían reservas, que se ocupaban mesas según se llega, así que si quería estar seguro de tener mesa debía llegar antes de las 20:30h. Llegamos a las 20:15h y nos dijeron que no tenían mesas disponibles que estaba todo reservado, les pedí educadamente explicaciones y fueron unos mal educados.

This is a very nicely decorated place, a lot of Asian references on the walls, the menus are perfect.
Loved the waiter that helped us, his suggestions were very helpful and he was very polite, friendly and professional.
The food comes in huge portions, I found my soup impossible to finish!
The Boa-Bao cocktail was amazing!

I ordered online but felt obliged to comment here. So I ordered a curry and a bao through uber eats but the curry came without rice. At the time uber eats had closed down so the extremely kind manager arranged a new curry and rice for me for free and a cab ride to deliver it. After some issues with finding my address the cab arrived but couldn't call me or ring the bell. So he went back to the restaurant and the manager joined him to personally deliver the food. I have never had such devoted and amazing customer service experience in my life. The guy deserves a raise on his pay for sure. Would recommend.

Disappointing! Had very high expectations because I love Thai food normally and this place had good ratings but the service was below par and food was only okay. Overly priced!! And not friendly staff... Wanted to kick us out before we finished our drinks. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

I ordered some appetizers and beef pho. I went there just to have some nice pho, but the broth was very salty. the rest of the dishes were nice though. however, this place is not so cheap, so I wouldn't come here for another salty pho. However, the decoration of the restaurant is very chill and nice~ friendly staffs too

We got the Pad Thai with shrimp, fried rice with chicken, and the purple sticky rice dessert. Our food came very quickly!
The pad Thai was good in texture and size, but the flavor was very weak.

아는 분이 추천해주셔서 갔는데 혼자 갔어도 친절하게 대해줬고 바에 자리만 남아있어서 괜찮냐구 물어도 봐줬어요 ㅎㅎ
쌀국수 원래 그렇게 안좋아하는데 따듯한 국물이 먹고 싶어서 갔더니 정말 만족하고 한그릇 양도 꽤 많아서 좋았습니다!
그리고 저 대한민국 메뉴판 봤을땐 꽤나 깜짝놀랐습니다 포르투에서 소주를 드시고 싶으시다면 가세요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Ambiente, coktails excekentes, bar antes de ir para mesa onde se pode começar a petiscar e beber excelente, comida muito boa, sobretudo se for a partilhar. Sugiro partilha de pratos com - torna refeição muito mais agradável e leve, experimenrando-se mais tipos de pratos; para 2 pessoas 3 entradas e um prato principal fica- se muito bem, ou entao 2 entradas, 1 prato principal e 1 sobremesa, tudo partilhado. Recomendo vivamente.

I love this place! We went here on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas because we were so impressed. The pork belly bao was incredible, and the dim sum was yum! I had this drink with gin and sake- called the wabu sabi I believe- and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a refreshing drink. It isnt sweet but it has citrus and it's been my favorite drink so far.

I generally steer clear offering one star, it’s just not decent, however, in this case I have made an exception. You may call it tall poppy syndrome, you may call it vindictive or you may simply put it down to the total utter ineptitude of the Front of House. I like to think it is the latter.
Boa-Bao is a typical new age trendy Asian inspired restaurant/bar serving fast paced parcel style food and cocktails to the tune of hip music under dim lighting. I have seen many of this type of restaurant before in Dubai, Moscow, Bali (Chin Chin in Melbourne also springs to mind), so perhaps I am less impressed than the average customer. The food is generally ok, but probably gets up into the ‘very good’ rating simply because it has zero competition.
The restaurant, from what I saw, draws a cool diverse crowd that queue up for half the night, only to be rammed in like sardines on rickety tables and slung fast food by nose ring wearing, spikey haired hipsters; who are actually working really hard and doing a decent job at accommodating the masses. The operation turns over some juice and I have to give it credit for that.
My request was simple, ‘I will take anything you got and especially/preferably at the bar’, in an effort to get things moving ASAP. So....I waited half the night (double what was told), spent copious amounts on cocktails, and finally got wedged in-between (on a rickety table no less) some screaming kids and some giggling queens on a date night, despite there being spots at the bar (as requested) and other tables available in the restaurant. I was clearly an after thought and as a result, rushed along with our orders.
I have no problem with waiting, no problem with a diverse crowd and absolutely no problem with spending big money, but I do have a problem with being passed over, mismanaged and then being dispensed of like mass produced old limp Chinese cabbage bum Bao that cant be resold, and should probably go to the homeless.
I simply cannot give this a pass......totally disgusted.

Muy bueno! A pesar de estar lleno de gente nos sentaron rápido. La calidad de la comida es fantástica y de sabores ni os cuento.
Pedimos un rollo vietnamita, dos bao (cerdo y pato - éste último es mi favorito) y un arroz frito para acompañar.
Mi recomendación es que vayáis a cenar mejor que a comer ya que este tipo de comida suele no ser muy abundante, pero lo compensan con calidad

Based on price, I was expecting a nice place, good staff and great food. I was disappointed. The food was good, but no different than other cheap places of the same kind of food. But my biggest disappointment was the staff. Alongside the lack of sympathy, they mixed our orders and brought a meat Dim Sum when we ordered a vegan one. No problem here, mistakes the happen. However, when we talked about the mistake requesting the correct option they said they would change but the right one never arrived. We complained again and they complained, saying we ordered the meat one (we had the vegan only menu) and although they brought it, it was with a rude attitude. Tl;dr, payed a lot for a cheap service and food.

Já sabíamos que que a espera ia ser longa (+/-40m), porque a gerente de sala já tinha prevenido, mas passa rápido quando estás num espaço como o BOA-BAO. Junto ao bar do restaurante, a conversar com os amigos e a beber uma cerveja Chinesa ou Tailandesa, não se dá pelo tempo passar. A decoração dá um toque especial a este restaurante, a comida é ótima (não obstante o prato vegetariano ser muito doce, mas há quem goste). Eu comi um caril de gambas com arroz de jasmim: fantástico!!! A preocupação com as alergias a a procura por alternativas por parte dos funcionários, sempre atenciosos, fez a nossa experiência ainda melhor, atendendo a que o alho para uma das pessoas era o problema. E a Quica ou Kika , foi simplesmente perfeita . Com a sua simpatia e saber estar, conseguiu orientar-nos para os melhores pratos e contagiar-nos com a sua boa disposição. Ficamos fãs!
Altamente recomendável, mas para quem quer ser atendido para ontem e não sabe como passar o tempo enquanto espera, melhor escolher outro espaço ou vir fora de horas (22h) onde se espera muito menos, ou não espera.
Hoje em dia um restaurante é muito mais do que um sítio onde as pessoas vão jantar. É um local de experiências. Eu tive uma ótima experiência e voltarei

We ordered via Glovo to deliver at home.
Pulled pork bao is not pulled meat, but a 75% fat chunk of bacon.
Dimsums were packed together with the sauces, and heated all together. The lid of the sauces cup melted, producing plastic covered dimsums.
Veggie Pad Thai, tasteless.
Very disappointed with the quality, and of course price.
I see the good reviews this place has, and I might have been unlucky today.

Fantastic food. I had 3 types of Bao including the recommended sea bass which comes in its own black Bao. Friendly staff. Great place to go if eating solo too. Have their own unique style too, which extends to the menus - food menu is a Travel Journal and drinks menu is a Passport.

Dim sum was so salty and sandy.
Chinese style beef & vege was extremely salty.
Sticky rice in the plastic bag if you are concerning environmental hormones.
It was an ordinary tourist spot which will give an absolute regrets!

Went there with high expectations. Bought the green thai curry and spring rolls as a starter. Least authentic thai curry I have had for a long time. Spring rolls were ok.
I asked for it extra spicy and they charged extra for it. They tried to put water on my table which I said no to. But in the end they still charged me for it. Something I didn't ask for and even didn't get.
The place is totally overpriced and has a very slow and poor service.
I would not go there again.

Place was nice. Ordered Thai Green Curry and Szechuan Wonton noodle asked for extra spicy for both.... food came and they gave us some sriracha sauce on a small condiment plate, assumed it was for my noodle. The curry was sweet, not spicy at all. Came the bill, we were charged for water we didn't order, AND the Sriracha or whatever sauce they gave us. 1st we asked for extra spicy, didn't asked for extra sauce. If they can not customize the spiciness level then tell us so. 2nd NO THAI CURRY IS EVER MADE SPICY OR SERVED WITH SRIRACHA. 3rd If you're gonna charge extra for some condiment of whatever that's not listed on the menu, then tell us in advance. If we knew they were just gonna give us Sriracha, we wouldn't ask it to be extra spicy. That's not what we expect. 4th When one of the guy approach our table to give a bottle of water, we said we didnt order, yet it's still on the bill.. many people didn't check what's on the bill and might end up paying stuff they didnt order.
My noodle was good, with or without the sauce, but being charged for 2 table spoon of Sriracha is ridiculous and ruined the whole experience.

I wish there were more "Asian" restaurant as good as this one on so many level!
It starts with the welcoming : the waitresses/waiters are polite and really concerned about our wellness, with a light and touch of humor to setup the mood, efficient and fast but still personal and nice without any pressuring.
A bit worried about the many choices of different origin (Chinese dim sum and porc bao, Hanoi Phô, Thailand pad thai, Korean Bulgogi, etc.), we still chose a bit of everything. 5 minutes minutes later, the starters arrives and taste amazing. The main course (I had the pho and my friend the pad thai) comes in and the flavors bring me back to my trips in Vietnam and Thailand, which is rare for a restaurant in Europe.
I was impressed by the precision of the cooks who seem perfectly train of the 40ish dishes of many origin they serve and the freshness and quality of the well chosen ingredients.
This is the work of a person who love asian food culture and want to share it with fellow Europeans in a modern way, bringing the best of the flavors without adapting it too much to the European tastebuds. The price (around 50€ without wine for 2 people with 2 starters and 2 main course) is perfectly adapted in my opinion considering the ingrédients quality and number of people working there; the quantity is also perfect.

La comida muy rica aunque es para ir sin prisas, sobre todo si vas con perro (es dog friendly) ya que puede ser que tengas que esperar a que la gente que está en las mesas destinadas a tal fin terminen de comer. Sólo admiten perros en la zona de la terraza. Personal muy amable y cariñoso con los animales.

My wife and I ordered the Malaysian seafood noodle dish and the twice cooked pork. The noodle dish tasted like instant cup ramen in flavor and noodle texture. And the twice cooked pork was thoroughly over cooked, salty and dry. We had a dim sum appetizer which was also really bad. I can’t say I’d recommend this place.

Very nice atmosphere in this restaurant, however food missed spice. Was not really Thai or Indonesian food. Please also note that the vegetarian green curry is not suitable for vegetarians since they use shrimp paste.

Lover of Baos so was super happy to find this place in Porto.
Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant.
Menu & drinks looked very interesting, wish we had more time to experience the place for dinner.

Excellent food, very nice interior and great service. Why not 5 stars? After excepionally fast service of a few courses, we were waiting about 30min for the desserts. Ultimately, the desserts were deducted from our bill, however we would prefer to pay for those and enjoy without the very long waiting time.

No recommend I will say. Food is good but it's just good. Peking duck roll is crispy but pad Thai and pho r just so so:(And price is higher than average, u can use less money to eat same food in other places. Service and interior is great. Anyway, expensive price just for service not for food!!

Remarkable food, tasty, comparable to what you eat in Asia with imported ingridients that really brings the cuisine to life. Could only point out the quantities on some main courses, you might find yourself starving.

Bel locale e buon servizio, menù vario, ma caro per i sapori serviti. Rispetto ai ristoranti fusion a cui siamo abituati (Milano) assolutamente nulla di interessante. Conto salato.

Loved the place!
We had the scallops and the pad tai.
It was great!!
The service was amazing! Our waiter Jin, was super friendly, she recommended some of the dishes and the drinks! It was a great dinner!

Plusieurs voyages en Asie nous ont fait découvrir certaines saveurs que nous avons eu le plaisir de retrouver dans ce restaurant. Comme rarement ailleurs... Excellent! Personnel sympa! Allez y les yeux fermés ça vous fera voyager!

A bit disappointing...
When i say disappointing, what I meant to say is...if you want to offer a top notch and unforgettable experience then one expects the service to be top notch as well. We ordered a cocktail at the start that only arrived while we were well into our main dish. We were missing some glasses for the wine that we ordered...and had to insist several times before they finally arrived. And they got my order wrong, so while the others were served I had to wait an extra 20 minutes. For this price , it was underwhelming and overpriced. Not an unforgettable experience ...

restaurant dépaysant et déco aux couleurs de l'Asie! Les plats sont délicieux et plein de saveurs! En revanche, le prix est légèrement excessif surtout lorsqu'on retrouve 5 crevettes dans son assiette principale. Je recommande pour son emplacement au centre et ses plats savoureux et de qualité

Mix of all of Asia's kitchen: Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Singaporean, Korean, Japanese, and probably two more I forgot about.
If you fancy eating yourself all through Asia, you cannot go wrong here. Though the menu is quite a lot of Thai and Vietnamese style food.
Staff picked up my order quickly and served even more quickly. So quickly, I barely had my starter finished when the main course came. Also, staff is very attentive and you need to be careful not to have an almost empty plate asked to be cleared off the table.

Sem dúvida um dos melhores restaurantes de comida asiática no Porto. Bom atendimento. Único senão é o preço das bebidas que está um pouco inflacionado. Recomendo!

The restaurant is very big. From the outside, one wouldn't know the space inside is that big. As I went through the restaurant to my table, the spacious setting, the decor, lights and the ceiling did make me remember some places I've been in Thailand and Indonesia. The food was also good and portions are very generous. The beverages list is also very good, and the fresh fruit juices are wonderful. The food is spicy, but nothing compared to the originals. The service was quick. My rating, a bit lower, is based mainly on the price and the fact that the flavour was not on par neither with the originals nor with the price I paid. I wished for a bit more, for a bit less.

Ambiente descontraído e confortável, menú original e com bastante variedade. Boa relação qualidade preço e atendimento atencioso. As três visistas que fiz foram boas experiências sem repetir nenhum dos pratos anteriores. Dog friendly.

Really enjoyed the food here. Had a green curry and 3 appetizers. Everything has lots of of flavor. The curry had two chilly peppers on the menu, but wasn't all that spicy really. Thank you
The only issue is the bathroom layout, could use a ton of work. It's a huge space with just two stalls.
Expect this place to be very busy, plan ahead of time. You can leave you phone number and get an SMS when your table is ready.

I would have gladly given this place 5 stars, were it not for the extremely long wait to get our table. We were told 30 to 40 minutes and ended up waiting 2 hours. We didn't mind that much as we were having drinks while waiting (sort of like going to a bar before the restaurant) but we would have appreciated a more honest and precise estimate of the waiting time. Aside from this as I said great place. The food is excellent and the ambiance and decor really nice and the staff is kind and helpful (much like everywhere in Porto really)

It started with an awful service of the hostess and more than an hour wait (after saying it will be about 20 min). Never mind... The real problem was the food! If you like a tasteless food and you have never been to south east asia then you might like it. If you know how asian food suppose to be than you will be highly disappointed. The green curry wasn't even green it was a soup of coconut cream with hints of curry and other flavors. The dim sam was asorted of tasteless pieces you couldn't distinguish between. We were very disappointed and really don't recommend it.

Love Boa Bao, if I could I would come here every day. Cocktails are fantastic and the food is great. I can never get enough of the starters and the Baos, as well as the curries! I would highly recommend it!

Heerlijk gegeten! Service is ook top. Beetje jammer dat er weinig andere mensen zaten te eten waardoor de sfeer beter had gekund en het restaurant oogt een beetje viezig en is onafgewerkt maar daar moet je gewoon niet teveel op letten! Zou er zeker nog een keer heengaan, als het wat drukker is. Misschien wat later op de avond?

Mon restaurant préféré à Porto ! Jamais déçue, la nourriture est toujours délicieuse et pleine de saveurs, comparable aux plats que j’ai eu l’habitude de manger en Asie. L’atmosphère est également très sympa, le service est efficace même si parfois pas très chaleureux. Je recommande vivement le Pad Thai et le Curry Massaman ainsi que leur délicieux thé glacé !

Amazing restaurant with delicious food and very friendly staff. Even though we were a large group they managed to find us a table! Extra points for whole vegan menu, a lot of vegetarian/pescatarian options and pasta straws! Prices are reasonable.

Desde a receção, ao atendimento os funcionários foram sempre prestaveis, super educados e simpáticos.
A comida típica asiática que por quem já esteve na Tailândia a fez viajar até lá, portanto missão cumprida.

15유로짜리 하노이 쌀국수 맛있네요. 고수는 들어있지 않았어요. 고기도 꽤 많이 들어있고 양 많은 편입니다. 칠리소스와 바베큐소스? 함께 나와요. 비싸다는 평이 많은데 현지 외식비 대비 비싸지 않습니다. 물론 베트남 가면 훨씬 싸겠지만 우리나라의 제대로된 유럽식 가격 생각하면 이 정도 가격대는 평범한 수준이라고 생각합니다. 베트남 음식을 좋아하시거나, 국물요리가 먹고 싶으시거나, 해외생활을 오래 하셔서 아시아 음식이 땡기신다면 추천합니다. 단기여행자들은 포르투갈 음식을 더 먹는 게 좋을 듯 합니다. 분위기도 좋고 서비스도 친절합니다.
+) 참이슬 처음처럼이 메뉴에 있었어요. 비싸겠지만... 오이김치?도 메뉴에서 보았습니다.

Bom ambiente com decoração alternativa desde a entrada ao fardamento do staff, que é atento, eficiente e cordenado, um tanto desatento ; relatei na mesa ao meu lado uma senhora que constantemente era aborda em 2 línguas diferentes. Menu apelativo com ingredientes razoáveis. Comida boa mas zero espetacular.

Overpriced and overrated! Chaotic and uncomfortable place. Music too load and disco music. Friendly staff but Unfamiliar about the menu. The large beers are small.

They have a separate menu that only contains the guaranteed gluten-free dishes, which is nice but sadly it was quite limited. The curries are not an option because they use wheat flour as thickening.
Ended up with the meat ball salad which was okay but not something I will order again. My company could eat the curry and loved it.

Esqueceram-se (mais uma vez dado ter acontecido recentemente o mesmo ) dos pratos principais onde acabamos por estar cerca de 40min à espera dos mesmos vendo outras mesas que foram preenchidas após a nossa chegada a serem servidas. Após questionar um funcionário o mesmo disse que os pedidos eram por ordem, estranhando esperamos mais 20min perguntando novamente pelos pratos principais onde aí "reconheceram" o erro dizendo que na cozinha o erro foi do chefe que deu baixa do nosso pedido. Pediram desculpa contudo foi a nossa sexta vez no restaurante tendo a pior prestação em termos de qualidade do mesmo inclusive a comida.

Boa relação qualidade preço. É como entrar noutro país, excelente ambiente e menus originais. Não perder o Gua bao de robalo, experiência incrível!!
