Dined out at another sister restaurant, and once we realized this place was across the street from where we were staying, we knew we had to go. I didn't have a clue about what i wanted to drink, and the bartender was able to narrow down the selection for me. Can't tell you how good it was! We finished our evening off with a complimentary espresso martini, 10/10 customer service

A nice place to kill a few hours with a drink. The staff are friendly, helpful and nice. The surroundings are good with the place well decorated and kept clean. The service from the staff is excellent. The toilets were clean and well maintained.
The drinks prices were at the top end of expectations, but then it is a nice place to spend a few hours. Probably just about worth the prices for the service.

Good cocktails, but very expensive and we waited 30 minutes for our drinks and the same time for our bill. The group of rich people was more interesting.

Probamos el menú degustación y es todo una experiencia. El ambiente es acogedor con luz tenue. Calidad de producto de 10 y servicio excelente. La vieira está increíble. Lo mejor es la experiencia que vives.. La coctelería merece la pena. Volveremos, sin duda.

Adorei o espaço e o conceito. O staff foi muito Amável em explicar todo o conceito e dar sugestões. A música ambiente tambem é 5⭐.
Eu pedi um cocktail de café e vodka "expressiotini" e estava fabuloso ! E não achei os preços um ultraje. Quero voltar para jantar, porque a parte do bar está aprovadíssima.

Maravilhosa experiencia, senti que estava em mil e um paises em simultâneo, cozinha super sufisticadia na "rua da picaria"? Só mesmo o nosso querido chef Avillez!! Parabéns ao nosso chef mas também à sua equipa maravilhosa que fez da minha experiência uma coisa inesquecível!!!!! Parabéns, são um orgulho a quem eu aconselho a todos os meus amigos e clientes....

Entrei com receio e um olhar desconfiado, mas sai deliciado, adorei cada ato dos dois menus, comida deliciosa, fresca, bem preparada, os coquetéis são excelentes, os funcionários muito simpáticos, atenciosos e profissionais.
A nivel pessoal adorei a decoração, a musica ambiente, o estilo do restaurante e do bar, muito bom mesmo.
Obrigado ao chef pelo pequeno miminho e que continuo o excelente trabalho.

Menus de degustação variados, equilibrados e, sobretudo, com muita qualidade. O atendimento é rápido e atencioso. O único contra é o preço elevado, justificado pela exclusividade e qualidade do menu, confeção e serviço. Recomendo experimentar.

I loved it, though I knew coming in that I wanted the "Epic Menu" with some molecular cuisine dishes. Their original cocktails are very nice too, and the service is absolutely impeccable. The sommelier does a nice job (I didn't try the wine pairing with the menu, however, as nobody mentioned it as an option). They will also adapt the pace of the menu to what you need. The Epic Menu was 55 Euros, and has eleven small creations and mini fours at the end.
There is a Mini Bar in Lisbon too. That is the original one. The menu is similar but not the same (some dishes are inspired by the locale cuisine of either place) and the tasting menu is about twice as long in Lisbon.

Os menus de degustação, são verdadeiramente surpreendentes e o preço dos mesmos, comparativamente a outros restaurantes similares... Consegue ser dos mais baratos, apesar de continuar a ser um restaurante caro!!

We were actually really surprised by the mini bar. We went there for some drinks later at night, we're a bit doubting to enter but once inside everything for really great very fast. First off all the willingness of the staff to help and mix drinks not on the menu. Then we ordered some tapas and it hit us that the cooking is actually really sophisticated. For the surprisingly exciting food they serve the prices are not very steep but the place is of course more expensive then more simple places

Overpriced for the quantity of food and drinks. Some of the items were indeed very tasty (hamburger and pork slider), but there are others which you should stear well clear of (absolutely do not order a "grilled chicken" cracker).

O espaco que faltava no Porto.
Um serviço com uma eficácia e simpatia irrepreensível, com um menu fantástico.
Experimentámos o Menu Em Cartaz e ficamos com vontade de voltar para experimentar tudo o resto que existe na carta.
A par dos cocktails, que eram todos muito bons, destaco a versão original das Tripas assim como do Fish and Chips...de chorar por mais.
Resumindo, uma experiência verdadeiramente diferente no coração do Porto.
Nao só recomendo como espero voltar em breve.

Un concept original, un repas uniquement composé de bouchées. Surprises et saveurs sont au rendez-vous. Moins intimiste que le Mini Bar de Lisbonne et musique un peu forte mais on y va avant tout pour éveiller ses papilles et c'est réussi !

Gostei. Já tinha escolhido o menu épico e voltei a gostar. Digo voltei pq já tinha gostado no mini bar de Lisboa. Sala pequena mas agradável. Atendimento simpático e agradável. É uma experiência de degustação a recomendar.

Se preocupan mucho por el bienestar del cliente y sobre que conozcas bien la comida y el funcionamiento de la carta, la decoración está en perfecta sintonía con el estilo de comida, estilo sesentero con toques modernos crean un espacio cómodo y glamouroso. La comida está enfocada en crear nuevas sensaciones de sabores, aunque a veces encuentras repeticiones de estos, la experiencia y la sensación de comer algo nuevo queda presente. Los cócteles juegan con el mismo sistema aunque no son principal atracción , la relación calidad precio es muy buena pero debes ir sin la preocupación de gastar dinero. Vayan y no van a salir defraudados , después de todo es un restaurante bajo la batuta un chef "dos estrellas Michelin" .

Really great experience but found the whole ordering a bit of an ordeal with the ipad. We were tired and hungry and wanted to order our pre dinner drinks without fuss!! However..it was a real experience and after a wobbly start the staff were great.

I can not understand any negative reviews on this place because it’s EXCEPTIONAL. The food, the service, the ambience are very much on point. If you want to have much food for less money, please don’t go here and disturb the people enjoying beautiful food creations and taste, combined with great atmosphere and very welcoming service. The quality of food was very much above average, e.g. ceviche and tartar. It’s not cheap, but go here and spend a wonderful evening enjoying things you don’t have regularly. Very cool and recommendable place in beautiful Porto!!!

Très bonne expérience, concept de nourriture en très petite quantité et en plusieurs actes. N'y aller pas avec une énorme faim, le plat de viande bife no teatro est vraiment délicieux. Les prix sont un peu trop élevés pour certaines mini-portions.

If you enjoy meals that consist of beautiful presentation and not much to eat then this might be your place. This is obviously a place for those who enjoy fussy food. I was underwhelmed and thought that this place was grossly overrated.There is much better food and ambience in the area. This place is expensive and after I left I went to another restaurant to have a meal. All in all this place is all about twee

Una delle pochissime vere esperienze grastronomiche che Porto può offrire. Bel locale, buon servizio, ma soprattutto piatti che ci ricorderemo per fantasia e sapori. Ovviamente le porzioni sono MINI come si chiama il locale, ma 5 sono il numero perfetto per una cena completa. Davvero soddisfatta e felice di esserci stata. Conto (40 euro circa) adeguato.

We visited in late June 2019. We had a stellar experience. The food was creative, innovative and delicious. What really got us though was the EXCELLENT service provided by Joao. He made our experience exceptional as he was delightful. He continued to provide us with a "magical" experience all evening. We wanted to thank him and single him out for loving his job and treating us so well.
Because of our experience, we also tried Mini Bar Teatro in Lisbon. While the food was similar- we were not wowed. It was obvious that Joao helped to make the evening memorable for us. We recommend Joao in Porto but cannot say the same for the service/experience in Lisbon.

I must tell that when you are a chef and you start growing your empire, it is hard to keep the quality expected for the service/price you pay.
Minibar was recommend by a friend and I must say that the overall experience was 5 stars. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing (don’t go over the cocktails, otherwise the bill gets too expensive) and the service was impecable. Debora was our hostess and she was amazing and kind. I don’t give 5 stars just for the time of the service. I know that good food takes time to enjoy and appreciate, but we arrived at 10.20pm and left at 00.30am, and I believe it is a lot of time for any gastronomical experience. Apart from the long time waiting for the food, I must say it was amazing and deserving a revisit

We had the surprise tasting menu. Every dish was innovative, perfectly executed and delicious! My favourites were the tuna tartare in a nori roll, the foie gras “crackers” and “truffle balls”. The service by our server Mario was exemplary! He was considered, friendly and went over and beyond. My partner doesn’t eat dessert, and was offered port, which he also declined. But Mario brought him a beautifully presented yuzu lime sorbet anyway, which he enjoyed! All in all a great dining experience.

I can't believe we spent four hours there for dinner. What an amazing experience. We went for a la carte and tried almost every single dish, which are divided in 5 different sections. The cocktails are outstanding. The highlights are definitely the fish dishes where we had the portuguese dish Bacalhau à Brás and the Tuna tataki. For starters the croquetes are amazing with Barrosã meat and the Avocado Tempura's only sin is that they are shamingly small. To finish the Veal Risotto is to die for! To repeat when possible since it is very expensive.
