We went to this restaurant on the first day of our holiday and really enjoyed the steak on the hot stone. We returned 3 days later to have the same meal and the fillet steak was bad quality and grisly. When we told the waitress she looked annoyed and told us it was the same steak. There was no apology r offer to replace the bad meat or reduce bill. Although restaurant was quite popular there were no locals. Clearly service is inconsistent. Such a shame!

Execelente lugar. Tapas bem servidos e de ótima qualidade . Sem falar na simpatia da proprietária Elisa sempre solícita. De um a dez , doze é pouco.

Fatal. Mi consejo es no comer/cenar en este restaurante. La camarera pone mala cara si intentas cerrar la puerta (como voy a saber que se cierra sola si no me avisas?) estabamos solos en el local, y aun asi ningun esfuerzo por agradar. Sus malas formas y mal tono ya invitaban a levantarte e irte incluso sin ver la carta. Dimos oportunidad y pedimos picanha a la piedra, estaba bien pero me gustaria indicar que el arroz con canela no pega nada y las patatas son picantes!! Y bacalao a la piedra, muy mala opcion, se pega, se quema, se rompe... no da tiempo a hacerse bien y no te dan utensilios, solo un cuchillo y tenedor. Por no decir que en 5min la piedra estaba ya fria... Total, un estrés de comida, nada agradable. Al preguntarnos que tal, le digo que “algo dificil” y me suelta que para otras personas no lo ha sido. Me está llamando TONTA??? Muy mala experiencia. Una pena.

NO ENTRAR! Dicho esto, hay que empezar por algo bueno. El vino de la casa es bueno. Todo lo demás, NO. Temperatura (hacía frío), ambiente (solo los dos en el restaurante), simpatía (más bien falta de ella por parte de la camarera), 0 consejos por parte de ella (el bacalao a la piedra NO es buena idea), baño de hombres con techo abuhardillado (¿¿??), comida regulera a precios inflados para ser Oporto. Pero sobretodo, es la antipatía total de la camarera, sitio NO RECOMENDADO. Hay mucha gente agradable que se lo merece más.

O lugar é especializado em comida na pedra, mas pedimos sopa de cogumelos e prego (espécie de Bauru). A comida veio rápido e estava bastante gostosa.
Ambiente simples e agradável, atendimento familiar e gentil.
Valores adequados.
O único inconveniente é que as pessoas "fritam" a comida na mesa e o salão fica com um cheiro forte (a roupa e cabelos também).

Horrible. Sitot assis dans ce restaurant la serveuse est arrivée et je n'ai eu qu'une seule envie c'est de m'en aller. Chose que j'aurai d'ailleurs du faire. Pas un bonjour et même pire un air méprisant tout au long du repas. Les plats sont arrivés froids. Je suis resté moins de demi heure dans cet établissement. Et soulagé une fois que j'en suis sorti. Plus jamais. A fuir absolument.

We asked for several tapas. The best one were the stuffed mushrooms, the most disapointing were the schrimps... The red house wine was average. Can't say the same of the sangria...

Maior antipatia e má educação que já vi. Nem cheguei a pedir. O restaurante vazio e nem assim mostraram o mínimo interesse e simpatia pelos clientes. Para além de que quando falei de um menu que tinham na porta com acompanhamento, que seria um suposto prato, disse que não tinha nada disso e não se ofereceu a ajudar. Tentei também pedir que servisse o prego no pão no prato, pedido que foi negado de imediato. De salientar mais uma vez à antipatia total, chegando a ser uma falta de respeito mesmo.

Pequeno restaurante, atendimento atencioso e carnes preparadas na mesa tornam esse lugar muito agradável. Para sobremesa há uma torta de limão com coco deliciosa! Preços convidativos.

The steak on the stone was the best experience (and food) I had in Porto. You basically cook your meal yourself, which is fun and the blackberry-sauce was simply delicious. The service was friendly and sweet, although she was alone and a tiny bit in a hurry all the time. Nonetheless we felt very welcome and plan to come back.

Aún sin haber abandonado el lugar estamos muy descontentos con el trato recibido de la camarera de recepción y tras elegir un menú las cantidades son escasas y hemos tenido que reclamar parte del menú cuando nos han casi traído la cuenta!! Las patatas eran de bolsa y la sopa más bien bastante escasa, no merece la pena pisar el lugar totalmente prescindible

Se vuoi mangiare piatti tipici portoghesi, gustosi e a buon prezzo, sei nel posto giusto!
Puoi scegliere un menù economico, ma per qualità-prezzo e abbondanza...consiglio il piatto unico di carne o pesce che, con grande sorpresa, puoi cucinarti da solo sulla mini piastra, direttamente a tavola; il che risulta anche divertente!
Il tutto accompagnato da mix di verdure e condimenti.
Ottimi anche i formaggi e i dolci, serviti insieme ad un ottimo liquore, gentilmente offerto.
Servizio carino e non invadente.
La media delle recensioni non rende assolutamente giustizia a questo posto, noi eravamo per l'appunto titubanti e ci ha decisamente sorpreso in positivo.
Forse un po' da rivedere la formula che deve attrarre il pubblico dall'esterno.

Una piacevole sorpresa a Porto!
Scelto per puro caso, locale quasi vuoto.
Menù pranzo a basso prezzo, e altri menù a prezzo basso. Noi abbiamo scelto un piatto a solo: STEAK ON STONE.
Carne da cuocersi sulla piastra calda, patate, insalata e altri cosine nel piatto. Fantastico!
Anche solo per l'impiattamento ed il servizio, la carne e tutto il resto erano ottime!
Abbiamo ordinato anche formaggio con marmellata, 7 pezzi di formaggi diversi veramente gustosi.
Per concludere dolce, delizioso.
Ci hanno anche portato un liquore con il dolce!
Prezzo basso, menù vario e ottima qualità!

Aconselho a toda a gente que gostar de um bom petisco acompanhado com um bom vinho. Taparikas é uma casa que recebe toda a gente com carinho e um sorriso na cara.

This was our favourite restaurant in Porto. We spent several hours here for dinner on one of the evenings of our trip. The food was delicious and the presentation of the food was impressive. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting on a cool evening.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place to have tapas and drinks. We were not disappointed at all. The food was awesome. We ordered a few tapas and sausages. Absolutely the best that we had until now in Porto. My boyfriend noticed that other tables also had real good food and the lady who served was friendly and really sweet. I loved the calamari with Blackberry sauce. If I could take some sauce with me home, I would have done it. It was heavenly. If I come to Porto again, I'll definitely visit again for the tasty food!!

Smacznie i niezbyt drogo. Domowa atmosfera, Pani prowadząca bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna. Produkty świeże i dobrej jakości. Polecamy! //deska serów i wędlin + sardynki + pieczywo + 2x sangria = około 30 euro.

A mi chico y a mi nos encantó. AUTÉNTICO, ACOGEDOR Y TOTALMENTE RECOMENDABLE, nada turístico lo cual es de muy de agradecer. Es ideal para cenar de forma relajada y tranquila a modo de tapeo, con platos muy típicos y muy bien cocinados. Los platos principales como el bacalao a la piedra vienen acompañados de una guarnición super completa con platitos de ensalada, patatitas al horno y arroz. El vino de la casa (probamos el blanco) estaba muy rico y además te sirven generosamente. El trato de la camarera, muy portugués, sobrio, amable y muy educado. De relación calidad/precio fenomenal. Y la copita de porto Tawny con el postre imprescindible ;)

Accueil inexistant. Le service est entièrement à revoir: une serveuse qui ne dit pas bonjour ni merci, et qui râle et souffle lors de la remise des cartes.
Quant à la cuisine, c'est une honte. L' " hamburger végétarien " se compose d'une petite plâtrée de légumes frits entourée de friture. Même pas de pain. Une notion de l'hamburger qui m'echappe.

J'ai commandé une bruschetta et des légumes sautés et on m'a servi des légumes surgelés à peine réchauffés avec une tranche de pain et des tomates pas assez mûres et des champignons presque cru. La serveuse était absolument désagréable, ne nous a même pas dit bonjour ni merci et a soufflé quand on a commandé. À éviter absolument

Ottimo cibo, carne servita sulla pietra rovente, tanti contorni particolari e ben presentati. Da provare la salsiccia tipica portoghese. Il personale è molto cordiale. Il locale è un po' stretto e in quell'occasione pieno di umidità/vapore come se non ci fosse una buona aspirazione, non metto 5 stelle solo per questo.

This place is a hidden gem, the food is very tasty and the portions are great. I had the salmon which had this amazing cranberry sauce on the side. The fresh lemonade was tasty too.
The staff was also really friendly and accommodating.
Would definitely recommend this place, great value for money :)

We ate here as our last lunch in Porto and it was perhaps the most satisfying meal of the week we spent in the city. We had six dishes from the tapas and small plates lists and a piece of chocolate and cherry cake for dessert. Each dish was clearly prepared with care and the flavours were great. Portions were generous for the prices and the two of us had a fully satisfying main meal of the day for £31, including soft drinks and coffee. Dessert even came with a couple of complementary liqueurs that they make and sell on site (both of which were lovely).
The only downside was that the service was inconsistent. One of the staff members seemed a little uninterested in being there and was a bit inattentive. The other lady that served us, who I suspect may have been the owner and chef, was great though, and was happy to explain about the food when we had a question.

Wonderful gem lost in middle of nowhere!
The food was excellent and service in good English. My wife and me took beef and salmon cooked on stone and it was just great for only 11 and 12EUR

The salmon they served me was not fresh - the fish was basically not eatable since it was overdue. Probably a mistake since other customers seemed to enjoy their food. The wine and garlic bread was more then ok, the setting very nice. BUT the waitress just blamed me, she did not even check it and just told me the food was ok and the problem was with me. That is a real shame, you don't treat your customers like that. At the end I had a strong chat with the owner and did not pay for the fish, they could have behaved more polite then I would just have ordered something else or have them prepare another salmon (seeing other customers enjoyed their portion it was most likely an honest mistake).
