Restaurant bien situé avec terrasse ombragée. La qualité des plats est en revanche passable. Il s'agit globalement d'un piège à touristes où le service est plus que moyen. Indispensable aussi d'exiger la présentation de la facture, car le paiement s'effectue à la caisse sans le moindre justificatif. Et comme par hasard, l'addition baisse de 10 euros lorsque l'on demande le détail. Pratique clairement malhonnête qui doit être dénoncée. A éviter.

The burger was not well cooked so we sent it back to the grill for another go. The thin pizza also needed more time. It was gooy and not cooked in the middle, but the salad materials were fine and the mushroom sauce was good. However, the entire meal was overpriced by 10 to 20 Euros. Maybe this is the location charge. Great spot on the river but there are other spots nearby.

Servicio lentísimo. Pedí un café con hielo y una nata. El café me llegó cuando mi acompañante ya se había terminado su cocacola. Mi vaso de hielo tenía un trozo de pescado, y el vaso de cocacola manchas de carmín. Una guarrada de sitio atrapaguiris. Todavía estoy esperando que llegue la nata.

Es sieht schön aus, aber gut ist es nicht. Komischer/Schlechter Pizzateig, Nudeln haben nach nichts geschmeckt, Essen kam nicht gleichzeitig,... Dafür gibt es Sitzplätze im Freien und der Kellner war auch freundlich.

Um estabelecimento muito agradável, muito bem situado e com umas vistas maravilhosas para o rio Douro. Tem uma esplanada muito agradável e muito bem limpa...

O empratamento deixa água na boca, mas só provar, não tem assim tanta qualidade e fica aquém e acho que os preços são muito elevados ( os pratos não têm assim tanta qualidade que valha os preços praticados).

Tried this place a couple of times whilst in Porto as it’s conveniently located right by the end of the line tram stop.
Only had a drink here on both occasions, they have a good selection of a local craft beer called 1927 which is served in a nice goblet style branded glass. Tried the IPA at 6.5%! Staff are friendly and welcoming and there’s plenty of tables both inside and outside.
It’s simple and quite basic but okay for a drink.

Enjoy a nice Port wine near the Douro River but far enough from the busy touristic strip. They have their own ice cream counter to satisfy your sweet cravings!

Ate here twice during our stay in Porto. Fast, friendly service accompanied by good food. We sampled the veg pizza, veg soup and fish soup. The fish soup was divine.

AVOID. Wish I could give 0. Ordered the highest price prawn dish for 16 euros. Got 1 prawn cut in half with a handful of fries and colorless tomato slices. The day before I payed 13 euros for the same dish at a resturaunt near the beach which had more than 10 prawns. Don't know how these guys can hold such a greate spot with such horrible performance. Also the dishes were dirty. AVOID.

Lovely little spot right on the Tram line with views over the Douro River. Stopped for a jug of Pimms outside in the sun before we got on the sightseeing bus. Staff were very friendly. Nice spot for an afternoon drink

Food poor and expensive for what it was..
Toilets a disgrace sadly. And flys were a problem. Card machine they said was not working... Not sure if it was a ploy not to pay commission and needed cash flow..

Franchement a fuir !!!
Pour commencer, nous avons été servi par une serveuse qui était très peu aimable, ensuite, des verres qui sentent mauvais, un plateau de fromage industriel a 12€ servi sans pain et pour finir notre plat, a francesinha, dsl du terme mais degeulasse, en plus d’être servi froide, la viande était rempli de nerf et la sauce était industrielle aussi, aucun goût, aucunes saveur, un attrape touriste !!

Dia 23 de Junho, pedi uma simples salada e pizza margarita, meus amigos pediram francesinhas, esperamos 40 minutos pelo serviço. A minha pizza estava queimada por baixo, dura, seca, se não fosse a fome teria ido embora. Os bifes da francesinha, duros, pão queimado. Não voltarei e não recomendo. Preço caro para o serviço prestado. Muitos empregados de mesa que até chegam ao ponto de se juntarem à porta do estabelecimento. Motivo : cozinha desorganizada e lenta.

Jantar em família num espaço aconchegante, simpatia e atenciosidade por parte do staff. A sangria estava boa mas em compensação, a francesinha deixou muito a desejar pelo facto do molho ser muito artificial. Esperávamos algo muito melhor, sendo que estávamos no Porto. Já comemos francesinhas bem melhores noutras regiões do país.

Desayunamos un par de días en este local ubicado en A Ribeira, frente a la parada del tranvía. Hay dos opciones de desayuno, una con croisant o tostada, café y zumo y otra con tostada, bacon, huevo, zumo y café. Cualquiera de las dos está bien, aunque quizá un poco caras para lo que ofrecen.

While waiting for the tram, my dad and I had a coffee in the this place. It's a tourist trap honestly. We paid 6€ for one nata (which was old and dry), one beer and one sparkling water. You would normally pay twice less for this order in another place. Avoid at all costs !

Wir waren auf der Suche nach gegrilltem Octopus und sind hier fündig geworden. Sowohl der Octopus als auch das Kalbssteak mit Pfeffersauce waren sehr gut. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Restaurant an sich ist sehr schlicht und einfach gehalten. Wir würden nochmals zum Essen kommen.

Horrible. It takes 10 minutes to get the menu and 50minutes to have the food. After 40 minutes after the order and watching some people who came later than me having the food before me, I asked them" Could you please check my orders are cooking or not? The waiter interrupted me saying "coming, coming!!" before I finish my words. I felt so offended that I lost appetite and didn't eat a bit. It is my first time to write a review here to let how I felt offended. I definitely don't recommend this horrible mannered restaurant to anyone!!!

Man kann sich dort nicht so ruhig ausruhen und essen, weil Viele Autos vorbei fahren. Ich hab aber trotzdem leckeres Bier getrunken und sie sind alle sehr nett.

The food was good and the service quick but I do have a complaint. I just got off a sightseeing bus and before I ordered, I needed to use the restroom. One waitress was rude and told me to go down the street. I told her I was going to order but needed to use the restroom first. She said they didn't have one and pointed across the street. Another waitress came by and told me the restroom was downstairs. I came back, ordered my food, paid for it and left. Everyone else at the restaurant was nice but someone should give that girl a lesson in customer service, especially to an older person. That is why I rated 3 stars.

Food good, prices average. Waiters kind and helpfull but cashier or owner (guy to who we pay) was pretty rude and impolite... totally ruin our experience. The first think was that when we wanted to go inside he ask (without even say Hello) if we want to eat like lunch. Inside is only for lunch sit outside, he said. While we were eating outside he started to smoke really nearby us.... we spend like 20 euros for coffee juices and some desserts. I wanted to pay buy 100 euro banknote (cause I didn't have a smaller one) I don't have change for that, he said. Pay by card. No expres,no thanks or Byes. We saw him many times during our time in restaurant get lots of pays by cash... I Guess he just didn't want to bother with us..... what a shame, could be a nice restaurant without him.....

I was walking near the seafront with my travelling companion when I thought to myself: 'gee whiz, I'd really like a cold crepe filled with raw mushrooms uncooked ham, served by a disinterested and abrupt waitress.' As luck would have it I looked over my right shoulder and saw The Tram Restaurant. The rest is history.

Je mets une étoile parce que je ne peux pas mettre zéro !!
Service déplorable : les plats de la même table ont été servis avec 15min voire 30min de decalage. Ma compagne avait fini que je n'avais toujours pas été servi !!
La serveuse n'a pas esquissé un seul sourire, et s'est même moquée de nous avec son collègue lorsque que nous avons trinqué (le fameux "tchin tchin") en nous mimant.
Il y a des mouches partout, l'hygiène est à déplorer. Et ne parlons pas de l'état des toilettes... qui d'ailleurs sont au niveau -2 donc inaccessibles pour des personnes à mobilité réduite.
Et le prix pour finir, est le double des autres restaurants. Seule la bière est pas chère...
N'Y ALLEZ SURTOUT PAS !!!!

Por fin ha llegado el día, voy a poner mi primera crítica con 1 estrella.
Servicio lentísimo: nos tardaron 30 minutos en tomar nota y 1:15 en traer la comida. Gente tenían pero....
Encima reclame la comida y el tío ni se tomo la molestia en decirme nada. La segunda vez que fui a quejarme (donde el “jefe”?), ahí si me dio por fin una explicación.
Encima, La comida tenía buena pinta pero... no estaba buena.
Productos caros.
El sitio y la terraza en bonito sitio.

Stopped at 10 am just after arriving for breakfast. As it was my first Francesinha I can’t really judge. The sandwich was soaked in a wine and onion sauce which had a bitter flavour at the end. It is endeed a very dish. My girldfriend toasts were ok. Coffee was good too. Staff frieny enough. Location is pretty cool just near the river and the tram line. Prices way too high for Porto and the Toilet... please DON’T GET IN THERE!!!!

Très grande terrasse idéal pour prendre un verre avec vos 52 amis les plus proches.
La nourriture n'est pas top mais ce n'est pas cher.

Terrible place. Food took more than 40min to come and it was so bad. My salty crepe was made with the base for the sweet crepes (so you can taste the sweetness and the vanilla flavor). The chicken inside the crepe was dry and without flavor, raw mushrooms , and in the manu said it was with cream but instead they put a big piece of cheese not even melted. My boyfriend's hamburger tasted like garbage. On top of all that the place is expensive, bathrooms are disgusting. The service was ok-ish

AVOID! Most disinterested staff I
have ever met with a hint of rudeness. Food was poor and would be worried about hygiene after visiting the toilets. The owner is leaving a great location go to waste, hire a real good manager !

8 pessoas, conta exorbitante.. (só para turista, e para nunca mais voltar!), Francesinhas intragáveis (com pão congelado, molho deplorável e hambúrguer no sítio do bife... - Nunca vi coisa tão má!). Só os funcionários é que fizeraam com que a coisa não fosse pior.

Terrasse à l'ombre avec vue sur le fleuve bien que pas des plus belles. Le restaurant en tant que tel peut sembler joli à premier vue, mais il ne s'agit ni plus ni moins qu'un piège à touristes. La qualité des consommations est en dessous de tout (pour un prix excessivement élevé) et le service indifférent. Les toilettes sont comparables à des égouts : une crasse repoussante, une odeur nauséabonde et une chaleur étouffante. Fuyez pauvres fous !

A good place to eat near one of the old tram stations. Nice and friendly people working there. Good, tasty food. Salads, sandwiches, pizzas, drinks. All food is fresh and the service is fast.

I had a lovely hour here sitting on the sunny terrace of tram restaurante! Friendly staff! Lovely view over the river and seeing the port wine cellars. Start of historic tram line 1. So much to see here Can't say much about the food because I only had some bread and olives. I don't understand people who complain they had to wait so long: you are on holiday ... enjoy your time. If you want fast-food this is not your place!! I will come back for more.

De passage en fin de soirée, la terrasse était peu remplie.
Nous n'avons pas eu ce sentiment d’être pressés par les serveurs et le service a été plutôt sympathique & agréable.
Concernant les repas: plats simples et peu goutus mais on ne s'attend à rien d'exceptionnel dans ce secteur très touristique.

We are family of four, went for dinner and really enjoyed it. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food was very nice and reasonably priced. I would recommend Black pigs cheek, the best ever. Thanks to the chef!

Terrible coffee that was not even slightly potable... The toilettes are located 3 floors down the basement and they were not clean. The staircase feels dangerous and unstable. I definitely not recommend it.

I ordered a beef burger with cheese... Unfortunately it was a total disaster. Few ingredients, no sauce and meat barely prepared. Except that, a waiter who was serving me, started an argument when I asked for the 'menu'... To sum up - wretched, poor, bleak experience. No recommendation for you.

É um espaço com uma esplanada super bem localizada, com uma boa vista, no entanto a qualidade / preço é terrivel! 1,60€ por uma garrafa de àgua das pequenas, nem em Londres paguei tão caro!!!

Fomos à Porto pela primeira vez. Restaurante muito bom, comida muito boa e barata, visão maravilhosa. A garçonete que nos atendeu é Brasileira e já está lá a 3 anos, foi para estudar e logo conseguiu emprego. Pretendemos voltar na próxima viagem. Visitem Porto é muito lindo.

Octopus was prepared well and salad was tasty, although it lacked any bread or something similar. Service was a bit chaotic, what could be observed also with other guests. There is nice view and you can catch some sun, or sit in the shade if you prefer.

Han tardado una hora en servirnos 2 tostas y una ensalada habiendo 3 mesas ocupadas en toda la terraza. La comida fría y la ensalada sin ningún aderezo. Hemos pedido aceite y ha tardado 15 minutos en volver a salir a la terraza sin los aderezos hasta que se lo hemos tenido que volver a pedir. El personal muy desagradable.

Nos sentamos en una mesa de la terraza y parecíamos invisibles, con dos camareros atendiendo y varias mesas vacías.
Después de 10 minutos tuvimos que hacerle señas a un camarero.
Pedimos dos cocacolas 0 y un kas de naranja. Las cocacolas las trajeron sin envase (a saber que marca nos sirvieron) y el kas de naranja se puso a "escanciarlo" y derramó parte de él por la mesa...

We found the most disrespectful waiter I've ever seen. We went with my elder grandmother and the waiter didn't let her use the toilet to refresh herself when she was clearly too warm. Of course we were going to take some drinks there as she felt better. Anyway, we decided to walk away. Some people should not be working to the public. F*** this place.

O único ponto positivo deste restaurante é a esplanada, que é agradável. De resto, o atendimento é lento (nota-se uma clara desorganização entre os empregados), a comida muito cara e a qualidade abaixo de zero. Pelo menos foi o que senti com o que me serviram: pedi uma tosta de queijo, tomate e orégãos, chegaram duas fatias de pão aquecido, seco, com uma fatia de queijo frio e três pedaços de tomate que nunca viram a tostadeira. A pessoa que estava comigo pediu um prego no pão que nem conseguiu acabar, já que parecia sola de sapato.
Com mais umas bebidas e umas águas, pagámos 20 euros por isto. Senti-me roubada. Não recomendo, de todo.

Um verdadeiro e autêntico descalabro!!! Que "coisa" mais desorganizada, mal gerida e mal aproveitada!!!! Um absurdo o que ali se passa naquela casa!!! Uma pena, pois o espaço é bom, a localização fantástica e o potencial enorme, mas temo que não durará muito tempo.

Would not recommend. It stands out as the worst restaurant visit in over a month of touring Europe. The staff seemed to go out of their way to be unfriendly. The bathroom facilities could be compared to those found in third world countries. They even messed up garlic sticks! More like cut up garlic flavored shoe soles.

The dirtiest place to eat in Porto. Seriously, how can a place like this is still open to public?
My glass was dirty and full of finger prints. The toilet was unbreatheable and full of those dirty flies. With that in mind I just left without eating and drinking anything. Avoid this place!

Son las 22:30h, nos sentamos en la terraza medio vacía. Queríamos tomar postre y café, la chica que hay en la barra del interior nos recibe bien y nos invita a sentarnos. Una vez sentados, un camarero de piel morena, pelo rizado y gafas ni nos mira. Cuando se acerca pone cara de asco y esperamos 10 min sin recibir ni la carta.... un sitio a evitar, trato al cliente horroroso.

There are plenty of places with better ambiance just five minutes walk from here. My wife loved the Bacalhau, I tried the Francesinha and it was really cheap.

Il proprietario invece, Mario, è inadeguato.
Dopo avermi comunicato il conto e aver pagato, 39 euro, ho chiesto una ricevuta, al posto del pezzetto di carta scritto a penna che mi aveva consegnato, visto che avrei dovuto chiedere.
Inspiegabilmente a quel punto a iniziato a trattarmi in malo modo, dicendomi che avrei dovuto pagare una differenza. Forse le tasse? Ho chiesto a quanto ammontasse la differenza e lui mi ha voltato le spalle e intimatomi di andarmene.
