Property is a massive vineyard that is still under some construction. We had a miscommunication with the property with regards to when we booked our garden suite it showed it had the skylight in the bedroom. This was not the case and was only available to the other suite. The staff blamed this on expedia and said it was not their fault. They gave us the option to upgrade to the skylight room for an additional 100 Euros. Room was massive. Outdoor fireplace really seemed to lack any additional furniture and seemed to under use the space as they only had two chairs and a small table. Overall it was a pretty cool place but did not blow us away. The spa was very nice and well laid out. One of the issues was with my wife commenting on the shower in the womans change room stinking like sewage so bad that she could not shower in it and the staff not having any clean cups for water out. We could have asked and Im sure that the staff would have come running with them. My thoughts on a five star hotel is that you should not have to ask about those little things. Great property and great idea. They just need to work on the little things.

What an incredible place with top notch staff and service. The views around the property are spectacular, the chefs tasting menu exceeded expectation and chilling by our own private fire was boom diggitty. Plus the rooms are spacious and welcoming and I can’t stress enough the morning buffet breakfast is perfection

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We only stayed one night and I wish it could have been a week! The staff were very professional and friendly. We ate in their restaurant and it was magnificent, each course was spectacular. The spa was amazing and the pool and sauna were wonderful. We were upgraded to a Sky view suite which I would highly recommend as the Alentejo night sky is not to be missed. If youre thinking about booking, stop thinking and just book it :)

O hotel é lindo! A arquitetura e decoração. O atendimento também muito bom. O quarto bem confortável. O restaurante é bom porém acho que não vale ir até lá se não tiver hospedado, pois o menu achei básico comparado com outros restaurantes desse nível e preço.

Great hotel for a relaxing couples getaway which is an easy drive from Lisbon and the wider Alentejo region. We stayed two nights in a Sky Suite which was spacious and comfortable, but could do with a little spruce up to bring it back to a five star standard. The whole suite was a little dark and the bathroom got quite cold in the evenings as there does not seem to be heating in there.We enjoyed a bit of stargazing through the skylight, and though we went in January, it was warm enough to use the outdoor plunge pool in the suite - just be warned that it takes ages to fill!As expected, the food and wine were excellent - breakfast was generous and of a high standard, theres a complimentary wine and nibbles hour at 4pm, and if youre not eating at the main restaurant the bar does serve some light meals. However, the tasting menus at the Michelin-star restaurant are a must-try; the food and service were fantastic.

A very good hotel. Great location and comfortable. Parts of the rooms, like the bathrooms and wardrobes are in need of upgrades. Breakfast was great. We have dinner at the main restaurant and thought the food could be better. Overall, still a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful place. I stayed there in November. Very recommend. As a feedback for the management itself, we would recommend to review the lighting project of the rooms. They are charming, but not functional. At the minibar, for instance, there was no light and we could not even prepare a cup of tea without our movile’s light. Would also recommend some wood for the fireplace to be legt at the room for the gueststo use when convenient. In general, very nice food and nature.

Hotel bastante amplo, com vista e jardins bonitos, as casas sao bem mobilhadas, um pouco longe da recepção (mas possui transporte das casas até la), o hotel possui piscinas ao ar livre e coberta. Também oferece serviços de spa a parte.

This is a full luxury magic setting. Very exclusive and unique. A place to retreat and enjoy calmness. Service is discrete and attentive. The suites are spacious and very organic. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace or the large skylight above the bed. The Michelin stared restaurant is in harmony with the zen ambiance. Highly recommandable for adults. Children would get bored quickly and wouldn’t feel comfortable in that environnement.

L’AND Vineyards est un concept très intéressant. Le resort est composé de différentes zones d’habitation autours d’un noeud central regroupant l’accueil, le restaurant, les piscines et les suites. Il est possible de séjourner dans des suites, de louer des villas ou d’investir dans ces projets de nouvelles villas (c’est un paramètre à prendre en compte). Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans une suite SkyView. C’est une bonne durée moyenne sur place. La suite est très belle, l’architecture du site et le design (intérieur / extérieur) sont une véritable réussite. Chaque zone d’habitation a son propre style car des architectes différents mais toujours avec beaucoup de modernisme. Nous avons aimé: - Le lieu car nous aimons ce concept, - La suite avec velux king size permettant de dormir en regardant les étoiles, aménagement intérieur et choix des matériaux, - Les piscines (intérieure et extérieure) avec transats, parasols, serviettes, - Le calme permettant de se reposer, - Le restaurant étoilé qui, en demi pension, est assez abordable et de bonne qualité (choix des mets, carte des vins, excellents sommelier), - Le petite déjeuner copieux avec des personnes souriantes, - La présence de super chargers Tesla, - La proximité avec Évora et Lisbonne. Nous n’avons pas aimé: - Vignes présentes mais peu entretenues et pratiquement aucune allusion au vin (alors que c’est de l’oenotourisme), - Les fleurs sont à l’image des vignes, c’est à dire sèches, - Présence d’excréments de rongeurs sur les chemins menant des suites au restaurant, - L’entretien et la dégradation de certaines pièces / espaces (ex: traces aux plafonds, finitions dans le restaurant, fauteuils tachés au niveau du bar), - Les détails qui brisent le luxe comme la vulgaire boite de mouchoirs en carton déchirée puis cachée par une boite en bois pour masquer la misère, - Le service dont la qualité est très aléatoire. Pas de le lenteur constatée mais quand vous demandez une boisson de la carte à la personne qui remplace le barman le soir et que celui-ci vous demande ce que c’est... le barman devrait être présent en journée et soirée dans un établissement pareil, - La carte du retaurant trop simple (si vous restez en demi pension, plus de 2 soirs, il faudra être imaginatif pour ne pas manger la même chose que la veille), - Certains serveurs qui manquent cruellement de sourire (allons messieurs SVP!) ou d’autres qui peuvent vous prendre de haut, - Pas de salle de sport. Globalement, le rapport qualité / prix n’est pas juste. L’établissement se veut 5* mais il y a trop de points à corriger.

das hotel ist zwar erst 10 jahre alt, aber weist sehr starke abnutzungserscheinigungen auf und wird nicht gepflegt. bei der aufwendigen Ausstattung sicher nicht leicht, aber doch sehr wichtig.der michellinsternekoch ist auch seit 2 jahren nicht mehr im hotel. darauf hatte man uns nicht hingewiesen. dies war jedoch der Hauptgrund der Buchung. ein hotel mit viel licht, aber auch schatten. das personal ist ebenfalls gewöhnungsbedürftig.sehr langsam und schwerfällig und manchmal erst nach mehrmaligem auffordern bereit, zum Beispiel den Kamin anzuzünden, obwohl dies vorher vom hotelmanager angeboten wurde. die lage ist sehr gut, das design der zimmer bzw. Suiten sehr gut durchdacht und sehr grosszügig, aber es muss gepflegt werden. da ist das personal überfordert bzw. hat den sinn des Hotels nicht verstanden.

Quartos muito bons com pormenores fantásticos. A janela no tecto é fantástica. Piscina interior e exterior muito bem cuidadas e em ambiente muito calmo. A vinha sempre como tema principal. Restaurante muito bem decorado. Pratos magníficos tanto em qualidade como na apresentação. Staff com uma dedicação e simpatia fantástica.

Incredible stay at a beautiful and relaxing property! Spent two nights in the Sky View Suite and loved the amenities - nightly fire, plunge pool, spa, and restaurant. We hope to visit again!

Our first suites wifi is not working. Staffs were very fast in responding and upgrade us to a higher level suite. Overall, location is great with only an hour drive from Lisbon. Service is excellent, breakfast at the Michelin 1 star restaurant is amazing. They also give us homemade red wine and honey as gifts. Will definitely come back again one day at the harvest!

Great vineyard property with warm hospitality. Not too far from Lisbon. This is a great start for our Portugal trip!

My son’s wedding was held here and there was not one thing that went wrong. The entire to night event was absolutely spectacular! The food was an experience of a lifetime. We had a ten course meal and it was exquisite! Every detail was paid attention to. The wine was delicious! I can not say enough about the accommodations the skylight suite is a must! The stars are amazing! The only item I’m dissatisfied with is that we didn’t stay longer.

Vaya por delante que estamos hablando de alta cocina, y con tal debe ser comparada. Es probable que en comparación con otros locales normales, estemos hablando de un cinco puntos Trip, pero, como digo, no es su campo de comparación. Sitio agradable, moderno y con buenas vistas. Probé el menú largo (105 euros sin maridaje) y aunque mejorable, no está mal. De entrante una ostra y vieira exquisita, y en cuanto a los platos del menú, luces y sobras, intentando a veces con poco éxito un juego de ácidos tan de moda últimamente. Desde unas poco prometedoras "raíces" que resultaron sorprendentemente buenas, a un arroz con calamar pasado de parmesano, pasando por platos que te dejaban templado como la empanada de carne de cerdo. El cierre con el solomillo de ternera y el chocolate de postre sí que me parecieron realmente espectaculares. Buen café, como se le supone a los portugueses. Vino propio por copas a 8 euros de precio excesivo para su calidad.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at L'AND for a night and dine in their Michelin-starred restaurant. From the moment a gentleman name Diego greeted us, we knew we were going to have an amazing luxurious stay. The unique architecture combined with the natural surrounding environment creates an amazing sense of tranquility. We did find the restaurant experience a bit on the expensive side, but then again.. it's a Michelin-starred restaurant experience. If you're in the Alentejo area, definitely consider L'AND. -WS

A perfect, peaceful retreat for my husband and I. The suite was spacious, the design of the rooms and common areas tasteful, and the fresh breakfast was unbelievable. Plus, we walked away with a complimentary bottle of wine and jar of local honey. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at their Michelin starred restaurant and exploring the sleepy surrounding towns. We would gladly come back!

L'AND Vineyards is a very luxurious boutique hotel experience. The spacious skyview suites, the spa and the outdoor areas were all very chic. Regrettably there were some maintenance issues that could've been readily solved if detected before our stay. We also had a fantastic dining experience at the restaurant.

We had an extremely relaxing stay, and the staff were extremely accommodating to all our requests. I do wish that they did a tasting of various Alentejo wines as well as an introduction to the region. That being said, the wine pairings at the restaurant took us on a tour of Portugal and included wines from regions that are not widely known as wine-producing regions. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would consider returning on a future trip to Portugal.

El restaurante... Sin duda le han regalado la estrella. Menú degustación leeeennntooo...incoherente.... Ni si quiera estaba bien ejecutado. El chef, sentado en la mesa de al lado... Indiferente a lo que pasaba en el comedor. Nunca cené tan mal en un estrella michelín. El hotel fue maravilloso..fue. Ahora han empezado a edificar villas para hacerlo un complejo turístico ... Les ha salido mal... Y ahi están las obras sin terminar... Las estructuras de hormigón abandonadas entre las instalaciones. Muy triste. El servicio bueno. Muy atentos.

Destaca el lomo de cordero asado en mantequilla y hierbas y el tataki de atún con inspiración asiática. Deja sitio para los postres, sorprendentes y deliciosos.

The hotel was nice, but only if you have extra days to kill in Portugal. Given our limited days, I kind of wish we had spent the extra two days elsewhere. We stayed in a stargazing suite & couldnt really see anything through the rooftop at night. You had to actually go outside to see anything. The grounds were pretty, but if youve been to other vineyards or countryside hotels, nothing spectacular to go out of your way for. The rooms were fine & I understand the idea behind this but they were a bit too dark (not enough lighting) for our liking. This made getting ready difficult at night or hanging out after dinner quite difficult. They also couldnt do our fireplaces after 10pm. Speaking of which, the hotel shuts down quite early so prepare for that if you go. The spa was nice & the massages were good (not amazing, but certainly relaxing). The staff was mixed - some were nice but others were a bit short with guests. There is also quite a language barrier for english, which was not a problem we encountered in other parts of Portugal at all. With all that said, it was still quite a nice two day respite. Its all a matter of taste.

Just 40 minutes from Lisbon we found this Portuguese hidden GEM... The hotel is located next to Montemor-o-Novo and just 20minutes from the roman city of Évora. Surrounding the hotel there's a beautiful vineyard and when you arrive it seems like you are arriving to a retreat. We arrived really early so the reception staff was extremely kind to let us change at the spa and enjoy the pool meanwhile they were preparing our room. We love to relax at design hotels and if you do so, this is the place to GO. We've stayed in a Sky Suite, all the room details were amazing... the fireplace at the entrance, the nice furnished living room, the AMAZING bedroom with sky views... the spacious bathroom with the HUGE bathtub... the outside terrace mini 'pool'… JUST PERFECT! At night, after arriving from visiting our family, we had a romantic surprise waiting. They knew we were celebrating so they had a champagne bottle, some chocolates and rose petals all the way from the living room to the bedroom… the PERFECT way to end that AMAZING day, looking at the stars with the person you love while enjoying a delicious champagne…! Our stay was very brief as we had to go to Algarve the next morning but we've still enjoyed the minute made breakfast. All the elements were prepared with an high-end detail, representing the Alentejo region and its traditions. We have to thank the all staff for all the attention received but in particular to Daniela and Hugo who were the PERFECT hosts! We'll be back soon for sure!

Rented the sky Suite package with massage and tasting menu at their Michelin stat restaurant. Room is indeed spectacular and spacious although yes there is an abundance of cracks , television is very small (EU standard), and you can tell this complex is 6 years old. The guest services were very attentive to us. So that wasnt a problem. The real problem was more the fact that they often run out of chairs near the pool, which is also infested by flies, always 2-3 on you at all times, grrrr As for the restaurant, 8.1/10, good service beautiful venue, but food was frankly a little underwhelming, wine portions minimal, had to keep asking for a decent glass and not half glasses. Only one wine hit the right notes, and no, they did not offer us any tastings of their home brand. The grass on the venue is also always wet, and. Not that many rock paths to follow. All in all, id give it a 4.5/5. Cool venue, few more things could be done better, but you choose whether the 1050$ canadian a night is worthy.

Stayed at this amazing hotel for our honeymoon. We were in a sky view suite and it was beyond words. The room featured private fireplace which the staff made, large soaker tub on private balcony and a retractable roof in the bedroom. 5 star experience!!

It is a very nice hotel for a relax stay out of urban noise in the middle of a rural area. Services are great and staff great people. You can visit the rural region vineyards and the Roman Augusta Emerita (Mérida, Spain) which is less than 2 hours far from the hotel.

Gostei muito do sitio. Excelente servicio, bom restaurante e spa com muita tranquilidade. E verdade que alguma manutencao fazia falta mais mesmo assim a experiencia é optima.

Es bien verdad que necesita una remodelación de algunos elementos de decoración pero el lugar es tan tranquilo y las vistas tan impresionante que compensa con creces esas carencias. El restaurante es sencillamente algo aparte: memorable

Nous sommes venus plusieurs fois , Le service est toujours aussi lent , les chambres peuvent être faites à 16h voir plus tard ( heureusement nous ne sommes pas en été ! ) , les chambres manques de travaux ( joints , peintures etc ...) Et surtout n'oubliez jamais rien ...car Vous le le retrouverez jamais!!( iPad une fois et la 2 Eme visite un maillot de bain !) et quand vous appellez la réception pour leurs prévenir de votre oubli ..ils vous répondent qu ils vous rapelerons ...mais finalement vous êtes obligé de les rappeler vous ! Juste un endroit sympa pour vous reposer ...vous ne serez pas dérangé par elle staff fantôme ! Sauf par les oiseaux !

It's a piece of paradise at one hour distance from Lisbon. The suites are magnificent, the surroundings are blissful, and the restaurant is worth the Michelin star. Loved the private terrace with the fireplace. The staff is also very helpful and we felt pampered throughout the weekend.

Check in provided no details regarding stay such as breakfast times, activities, etc. We were never told that a group was staying at the hotel so that certain facilities would not be available to us. Received half of what hotel advertised. Overall it is just a time share property trying to sell rooms to get by. Staff was awful and fumbling on everything. Weird that the only wine tasting they offer is just after breakfast…..seriously??????

I'd like to complain about the service but we didn't get any! If you enjoy being treated like royalty book somewhere else. Beautiful architecture and great surroundings but the service details are lacking. Needs a change of management. Oh and you're in the country so kinda prone to animal intrusions, however being woken up by a rat staring at me from the headboard of my bed? Not coming back in a hurry. Oh, and considering its a vineyard I didn't expect such underwhelming wine. Avoid the home brand red 2011. Never enjoyed a wine less than this one.

Architektonisch und designmäßig wirklich schön, und mit einer sehr wertigen und teuren Ausstattung. Die Küche ist hervorragend und hat zu 90 Prozent den bestehenden Michelinstern verdient (der Chefservice und die Tischausstattung geben 0,1 Abzug). Leider endet hier der vorbildliche Teil, darum leider auch nur 3 Sternchen, obwohl das Potential für 6 da ist. Aber auf der Führungsebene ist der Service mehr arrogant als hilfreich, der Wein vom eigenen Weingut ist bei den Weißen wirklich fragwürdig, der Rose Zebro vom Nachbargut (aber mit deren Trauben vinifiziert) ist tatsächlich ungewöhnlich und gut mit Noten von Erdbeere. Für ein eigenes Weingut ist das Ergebnis aber Durchschnitt. Mit diesem geht es dann auch weiter und der Einfachheit halber hier ein paar unsortierte Schrägheiten: man soll mit dem Auto zum Frühstück und Essen kommen weil das zentrale Gebäude ca 300 m entfernt von den Zimmern ist ( wir haben es zu Fuß auch geschafft , die zu unserer Zeit anwesenden Gäste schienen aber tatsächlich lieber das Auto zu nehmen.... ), das Zimmer ist ca. 80 qm groß, davon hat das Bad 6 qm abbekommen, ohne Ablage, ohne Fenster, WC nicht separat und mit Wannendusche deren Regendusche ( als einzige Kopfdusche) man nur anstellen kann, wenn man bereit ist direkt geduscht zu werden ohne etwas über die Temperatur des Wassers zu wissen ... , der angeblich 800qm große SPA- Bereich ist Innen maximal 250 qm groß mit einem überwärmten Minnipool, glitschigen Fliesen, einer einzigen nur zum Teil funktionierenden Dusche und einer Sauna ausgestattet und eine Massage ist bei Anfrage am Vorabend nicht verfügbar, im Aussenbereich keine Dusche (sehr appetitlich was da so alles ungeduscht abtaucht), die Böden, Ecken und Kanten in den Poolbereichen sind richtig gefährlich!, Schiebetüren zu öffnen ist mangels korrekter Wartung ein mittlerer Kraftakt ( geschwächte Jungmillionäre lassen dafür die Empfangsdame kommen, wir haben es selbst gemeistert ), die Fußböden im Hotel dürften häufiger gereinigt werden, da man überall Fußabdrücke von staubigen Schuhen sieht, der Schallschutz hat seinen besonderen Reiz (im Restaurant ist es zu Zweit schwierig bei einer angenehmen Tischlautstärke zu bleiben, wenn an einem anderen Tisch mehrere Personen sprechen. Im Zimmer ist das Fensehprogramm von nebenan gut zu hören und das Bettprogramm ebenso. Zweites hat natürlich seinen Reiz, je nach Nachbarbesetzung, man kann's aber leider nicht abstellen), die Sessel im Restaurant sind zum Lümmeln toll, aber nicht zum "zu Tisch sitzen", beim Frühstück werden einem, auch wenn man noch isst, Teller und Besteck abgenommen (Nein, es gibt kein neues Besteck, auch nicht am Buffet. Evtl. ist die Anwesenheit über mehr als 45 Minuten nicht schicklich?. Es war an beiden Morgenden so ...), die Lampen an den Wegen sind alle falsch herum montiert und blenden entsprechend! (darum unbedingt eine Taschenlampe mitnehmen, sonst stolpert man über die Versorgungsschächte! An den Lampen ist ein Schild wo oben sein sollte ... . Splitt & FlipFlopps? Ein Riesen Spaß!), so, genug jetzt. Die längste Rezension meines bisherigen Lebens! Also ...., es ist keine Frage ... Es ist unglaublich schwierig viele Gäste zufrieden zu stellen und ein wirkliches Luxushotel zu realisieren. Hier scheiterts an snobistischer Arroganz, schade! Geld allein genügt nicht um gut zu sein! Für ein Gourmetwochenende mit Freunden und mit ausgiebiger Weinverkostung kann ich mir diese Lokation noch einmal gut vorstellen, solange es sie so noch geben wird. Das Preis-Leistungsverältnis ist dann wahrscheinlich nicht wirklich angemessen, aber wohl noch im Rahmen ( für deutsche Preise ...).

Abbiamo pranzato nel ristorante è tutto è stato perfetto. Dalla qualità delle portate sorprendente, al servizio, alla stupenda vista sul giardino. Merita le 5 stelle che porta.

We stayed for one night during a less crowded weekday out of season. Service and especially the food were marvelous. For sure not the cheapest place to go to in Portugal, but worth every cent.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen; schon allein aufgrund der wunderschönen Lage. Leider lässt der Pflegezustand etwas zu wünschen übrig. Es fehlt einfach eine Gesamtkontrolle der Zimmer, der Terrassenmöbel etc. Manches ist ein bisschen heruntergekommen. Aber alles zusammengenommen: wir werden bestimmt noch einmal in das LAnd vineyards fahren.

Quartos um pouco degradados, com falta de iluminação, impossível ler, pedimos um candieiro, mas de nada resolveu, o fio era tão curto que ficava quase encostado à tomada... A mesma falta de luz, na sala, de resto pouco confortável e com uma lareira a gáz... Pequeno almoço razoável, mas com dificuldades na reposição do que ia faltando, enfim, não parece um cinco estrelas, ainda mais com o preço que praticam.

Relação preço qualidade desajustado! as suites necessitam cuidados de manutenção, apresentam alguns pormenores degradados, estivemos lá há 1 ano e nada melhorou! O serviço de quartos foi descuidado! levaram-nos o pequeno almoço ao quarto, a louça suja do dia anterior foi encostada mas não foi levantada! Quando solicitamos um late check-out foi-nos negada a possibilidade do mesmo, informaram-nos estar cheios e necessitarem das habitações às 15h00, pelo que teriamos de sair às 12h00! Como se todos os hóspedes entrassem às 15h00, na verdade apenas gostariamos de ter usufruido de mais 1 ou 2 horas! Não ficamos com saudades de regressar deve mesmo ter sido a ultima vez, consegue-se melhor por menos!

É um excelente hotel mas pelo preço que se paga pelas suites há detalhes que mereciam mais atenção, as suites precisam de alguma manutenção.

Alguns detalhes das instalações estão a precisar de manutenção mas a experiência global foi muito boa. Elevada qualidade de serviço do staff, SPA e Restaurante. Excelente arquitectura. Sem dúvida a repetir.

Muy relajante, las habitaciones lo suficientemente grandes para encontrarte comodísimo,con una decoración moderna perfecta, con mucha independencia y la presencia del servicio cuando es necesaria. El lugar precioso, el restaurante de calidad pero de carta limitada, estupendo si como yo estas dos días pero creo que monótona si pasas una semana que sería lo ideal para disfrutar del hotel. Sería interesante que estuvieran mas atentos al mantenimiento de las instalaciones y habitaciones. En mi habitación se veían telarañas en las esquinas del cuarto de baño y tuve que pedir que arreglaran los enchufes del baño que no funcionaban, cosa que hicieron rápidamente.

Mitten in Weinreben sind sehr schöne Gebäude integriert. Leider hat der kleine Aussenpool der zum Zimmer gehört ein Loch und konnte nicht benutzt werden. Auch blättert ein grosser Teil der Fassade ab. Bei der Weinprobe im dunklen Eingangsbereich werden ein roter und ein weisser Wein gereicht und auf die schönen Farben hingewiesen obwohl man wegen der Dunkelheit eigentlich nicht viel sieht. Beide Weine haben die gleich kalte Temperatur sind sehr jung und für ein 5* Haus eine Zumutung. (Aldi)Auch in der Weinproduktion blättert die Farbe an der Decke ab, überall trifft man auf Unordnung.Eigentlich schade. Der sehr arrogante GM entschuldigt sich höflich, man fühlt aber, dass er uneinsichtig ist und sich daher nichts ändern wird. Schade für das investierte Geld.Niemals 5 * Niveau
