On vous dit également un grand merci a notre super guide , bruno, Avec lui on s est régalé,il est tres gentil,tres serviable, et il est passionné par ce qu'il nous fait decouvrir....grace a lui on a vu des choses que seul on n aurait jamais vu. Encore une fois,un tres grand merci a bruno que l on reprendra avec plaisir si nous revenons a porto.

The Douro Valley wine tour was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. We were really excited for it but it far exceeded our expectations. The day started with our tour guide Violetta kindly picking us up from our apartment - she arrived right on time! The drive up was stunning and we were so impressed with how expertly (and calmly) she handled the difficult mountain roads. She was very informative and also hilarious - never a dull moment in her van. The wineries were even more beautiful than expected and all the wine was wonderful! In between winery visits, we were taking to a cute town where we shared a feast together in a local restaurant. We opted for the Douro cruise, which was definitely worth the extra money. Views from the boat were spectacular. Thanks again to Violetta for the unforgettable experience! Would highly recommend.

We had a great day on a tour to Braga and Guimaraes Our guide was Hugo and he was amazing. He was punctual, knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be with. The van was comfortable and his information was very appreciated. Lunch was delicious and added to a more than perfect day. Call cool tours and spent the day with Hugo!

Heute Tour nach Braga und Guimares unternommen. Start hat nicht ganz geklappt, Verzögerung würde aber telefonisch avisiert! Dann aber alles bestens mit sehr gutem Tourguide. Spannend und interessant trotz Dauerregen. Empfehlenswert!

Douro wine tour If you get a chance to book this tour; do it!  They picked us up in a tour van directly in front of our Airbnb at 8:30am. There were 7 people on this tour. Then it was a 1.5 hour drive out to the tiny town of Pinhao. We had 30 minutes to wander or get a refreshment at a cafe before we went to see the olive oil and winery.  The wines, olive oil and honey were great to taste with an amazing view of the valley. Then we were able to purchase wine to take home or a bottle to drink on the boat cruise. The cruise was beautiful and relaxing especially with a glass of wine. There was an inside area with blankets as well as an outside area to take in the amazing views. It was raining when we went but still beautiful. After the boat tour we were taken to a local Portuguese lunch (2pm) where we had salad, fish, potatoes, steak and pork as well as water, wine and desserts.  It was a lot of food! Then off to a port winery for tour and tastings which was also great. Then traveled back to Porto where we were delivered safely back to our Airbnb about 6:30pm. A great day was had by all!  Celia was our tour guide and she was amazing. The knowledge of wine and all things Portuguese was phenomenal! She was fun and talkative and answered all questions from our group! You’d be lucky to have her as your tour guide!

Took the Douro River and Wine tour today with our guide Joao (John). Was two couples traveling together with two other couples we did not know. John did a fantastic job. We went to two wineries for tastings, took a cruise on the Douro River, and had a fabulous lunch with wine at a local Douro area taverna. Highly recommend the tour and John as the guide.

My partner, mum and I did the tour and we all absolutely loved it. The places we went to for the wine tasting, port tasting and lunch we're all spectacular- taste and views. We reccomend doing the river cruise also. Our guide John was amazing! Alot of fun and VERY knowledgeable about all things Porto duoro and Port! Highly recommend!!

We were booked onto the Porto City Tour with lunch, port wine tasting and river cruise. Isa, our guide, was fantastic and was willing to tailor the tour to the 4 people who were on it that day. Unfortunately for my wife and I we did not make it to the lunch stop as I was rushed to the local hospital by ambulance. Isa arranged the ambulance as my wife does not speak Portuguese. Ricardo came to the hospital to check on me over the course of the next 6 hours and then drive us back to our hotel. I can not recommend this company highly enough!

You can learn languages in this tour :) Catalan is among of them. Also, I've managed to count only 5 bridges, while the tour says about 6 bridges ;)

Violetta was a fantastic guide and gave us a whistle-stop city tour of Porto. She really made the most of the time we had and made it a memorable experience, especially with the atmospheric Fado too!

Duoro Valley Wine tour with Ines. A very professionally run day that I can highly recommend. Ines was great and an absolute font of knowledge. This company have a heavy focus on small groups (7-8) and authentic local experiences which, as an owner of a similarly orientated business in Phuket, I absolutely 'get' this strategy. The stop at Quinta do Beijo was perhaps the highlight but of course the scenery is stunning and never stops. The river cruise is a worthy optional extra.

We did a full day to Duro valley with Maria. She was a total pro, and you could tell she loved her job. What a great experience for the family. Highly recommended.

Si usted ya conoció la ciudad y ahora quiere conocer el campo y cómo se desarrolla la actividad vinícola en esta región, bienvenido. El paseo tiene vistas agradables, recomendables (variará, sin duda, dependiendo de la época del año. Nosotros lo visitamos ahora, en abril). El guía, Alex, agradable y profesional y el grupo mismo hicieron que el viaje valiera la pena. Es un paseo muy cómodo, de 9 horas, con comida típica de la región. Finalmente, una respetuosa propuesta: poder pagar un extra para probar un vino distinto al «vino de la casa» que se incluye en el almuerzo. Felicitaciones al guía.

My wife and I did the Porto port tasting tour... Our guide was friendly, informative, and all around superb. One of our group was celebrating a birthday and he went out of his way to make it special. The entire trip was relaxing and fun. Highly recommended!

guide Marco Cosimha- first class Porto North Wines Tasting Tours and Lunch 2 Brits, 2 Americans and us 2 Canadians- believe all of us felt the same Vino Verdhe stop- host Fernando Fernandes- a passionate beautiful person who happens to make great wine, olive oil, fruit jams and herbs a superb host who treated us on his terrace to cheese, olives, olive oil and bread, fruit and jams and then the exquisite white, good red and ok rose- and not just 1 glass like Italy- only complaint I have is I didn't buy enough wine after a great lunch in a small town, went to a Port producer Cesar who was very nice and treated us excellently- ports were great thank you Marco and our hosts Joanne and Bob from Canada

Excellent tour of the Douro Valley. It was over our expectations!! Tour guide: Lola was very convenient to explain and English and French for the mixed group. We could ask question at any time and she was very knowledgeable. Lunch was very good, but make sure to eat before leaving because we ate at 1:45PM. The boat ride was ok, but if I had to do it again I would not pay extra to do the boat ride (not that much to see). Thank you so much for the experience. I recommend to anybody that's in the region. :)

This review is for the Small Group Douro Valley Tour from Porto - This small-group tour is highly recommended and a great way to experience the Douro Valley from Porto. Our van arrived at our hotel promptly at 8:30 am to pick us up for the day trip. Our guide, Nuno, greeted us with a huge smile - his positive attitude set the mood for the entire day. We picked up another couple and we were on our way. Cool tours has multiple vans on any given day, but the small group setting is ideal. The 1h30m trip seemed short as Nuno was full of fun facts and information about Portugal, Porto, the Douro Valley and wine (of course!). We stoped in a small town and took a look at some beautiful views of the valley before heading to our first winery and olive oil distillery. Next up, the boat tour (highly recommended!) was a great way to see the valley from the river. Then we stopped at another winery before we were on our way back to the city. Overall, the trip wouldn't have been the same without our guide Nuno. He is hospitable, knowledgable, engaging and personable. He truly cares about the experience you have that day, and the feeling you have about Portugal wine every day after. 5 Stars, all around. Thank you!

Our tour of the Duoro wine region was sensational! Our guide for the day was Noona, (hope I spelt his name correctly) he was very knowledgeable and was only to happy to share this wealth of information. Not only was there us Aussies on the tour but others from Mumbai and Istanbul, that were made to feel very welcome with Noona's huge smile. The tour started with us being picked up from our hotel on time, then driving to the Duoro valley, a river cruise, fabulous lunch and wine and port tastings. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Douro Valley tour. Our guide Joao was friendly, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and was entertaining. The trip was leisurely, there was no pressure to buy any products, and the landscape is breathtaking. The olive oil, honey, wine and port tastings were generous and delicious. The boat ride was wonderful, and the lunch included port, wine, tons of food, coffee and dessert. It is a bit of a drive to and from Porto (90 mins) but well worth it!

Wow what a tour. This tour of the duoro valley really encompassed everything I wanted to see and do in the area. Wine tasting, Port tasting, Olive oil tasting, boat tour and a great lunch. All perfectly timed and without any pressure selling. I went on this tour just hearing a little about the area but nothing could prepare me for the views of the valley they are spectacular and some of the best views in the world a great place for a photographer like me. My tour guide was Maria and from the outset she was super knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Every question we threw at her was answered straight away. I couldn't of asked for a better tour guide. The best part of the tour was the last stop a family vineyard where they make port. the family owned business is super cool and the quality is fantastic but the main attraction for me was the views from the deck. I cannot explain in words just how awesome the views are so just take a look at the pics below....
