My husband, two teens and I did the dinner tour and city tour in Porto and the Sintra tour and city tour in Lisbon. All the tours with this company were amazing. This was our first time in Portugal and we usually don’t work with tour companies but WHTT’s philosophy was very appealing to us. What sets WHTT apart is the guides. They are a group of very smart and socially aware guys. In Porto we had Bruno: a very likable guy who got out of his way to make sure we saw (and tasted) the authentic Porto. Bruno knows and cares a lot about his country. Take these tours. You will learn a lot from him.

Great day with Bruno- these guys do run different tours and you will be pleasantly surprised- the local stories you wouldn't hear about and peeling the layers of this city, history, culture, food, and spirits. Highly recommend!!

We did the day trip from Lisbon to Sintra and Cascais in early June with Manuel from We Hate Tourism Tours. It was just a perfect day with an authentic local guide who had a great sense of humour and offered some really good insights into what it was like to grow up as a Lisbon local. Sintra is a charming village and it was great to experience the coastline as well. We stopped for the most delicious lunch at a food van next to a local fruit and veg market and Manuel shared some wine and cheese with us as well as a chorizo bread that just melted in your mouth. We Hate Tourism Tours is the way to go if you want to feel like a local and be treated like a friend, rather than just another tourist. Top day. Just book it.

We already made great experiences with WeHateToursimTours in Lisbon and therefore chose to book two tours again in Porto. We did the city tour - Bruno took us to his favourite places like hidden viewpoints , local eateries and beautiful city sights. We also went to the dinner tours and had a delicious dinner in Gaia and a great night out. My wife and I took a 6 hour Porto tour with Nelson and one other tourist from Luxemburg. It was our first trip to Portugal. We had a great time. Nelson met us as arranged in our booking. He took us to many different - non-tourist - areas of the city and explained the City and its growth and culture to us in several different fun ways. We also enjoyed his patience with our lack of knowledge about Porto and our many questions. He also included several fun food and drink stops and a great lunch. Our tour was a great success even though it rained much of the day. We encourage others to try WHTT's Porto day tour if you are in Porto.

Porto is a great city, with genuine people without filters, and we'd never have experienced this place to its fullest as we did if it hadn't been for the Trip'eira City Tour we joined with We Hate Tourism Tours in Porto.
